US Version of Album Missing Tracks

So I've been waiting on the release of Frank Turners new album Tape Deck Heart. I've been tracking this album for months, and as soon as iTunes put it up for PreOrder I did. However I just now noticed the US iTunes PreOrder is missing 3 tracks!
Tracks 1-12 are standard on all albums 13-18 are supposed to be part of the bonus track deluxe edition, and 19-20 are thrown in on the iTunes deluxe edition. The AU edition of the Deluxe version of the album is complete but the US version is missing one of the deluxe bonus tracks (Cowboy Chords) AND both the 'iTunes Deluxe Edition' live version songs 19 and 20.

Of course, I can't purchase the album from the AU store because I have a US Apple ID.
How am I supposed to get the missing song, do they just eventually add it? Is there a way to buy from the AU store? Am I forced to download a SINGLE track from Amazon (http://www.amazon.com/Tape-Deck-Heart-Deluxe-Explicit/dp/B00CBUMTVU/ref=sr_1_2?i e=UTF8&qid=1366438269&sr=8-2&keywords=tape+deck+heart) since it appears they will have it?
I just don't understand why US users don't get the itunes bonus tracks, AND are missing one of the albums deluxe edition tracks.

You could try deleting the tracks that are wrong, then using iTunes Store > Quick Links > Purchased > Music > Not in My Library to redownload them.
If the problem persists use the report a problem links in your account history to contact iTunes Store support. Be clear exactly which tracks by number and title you are missing and that redownloading them yourself from your purchase history hasn't fixed things. Check the previews of those tracks in the store in case they are in error too.

  • Downloaded album missing tracks

I recently downloaded the album "Thunder, Lightning, Strike (Bonus Tracks)" by The Go! Team. It contains the correct number of tracks, with the correct titles, but two of them are in fact duplicates. Can anyone tell me how to remedy this? The vanilla version of the album doesn't seem to have the same issue, but it would cost me extra to download the missing tracks from there.

  • HT4914 missing tracks (broken file limatching iTunes?

I have some missing tracks (broken file links) in itunes, will these sync with iTunes match?

Reply to self: I ultimately did speak to a sympathetic iTunes support staff.  But, I figured it out just by talking iot through with him.  For reasons that remain unknown, large swaths of my library were "hidden" by Windows.  Unhiding and clicking to apply to sub-folders does not function as intended.  The Microsoft support personal left it with clicking on every single file and unhiding.  But I did ultimately unhide everything by using the HIDDEN parameter in Windows Search, which makes available all files for group clicking "Off" the hidden feature.  Unfortunately. major library damage already incurred before all this was figured out.  Albums missing tracks, etc.  With a folder by folder comparison to several backups, I managed to re-create the basic file structures.  I also cleaned the hard disk by shifting old Music backups off the drive so that now there is 769 GB used, 1.16 TB free of a 1.81 TB available hard drive.  Rebuilt the library using the latest download available 9/25/2012.  Have gone through the shifting of the directory structure out of iTunes/iTunes Media to just iTunes.  A shift which I approve of but a warning would have been nice.  Have gone through the varisous corrections to Compilations, Music Videos, Audiobooks which are clearly tagged incorrectly as iTunes cannot rebuild to previous specs.  And now I am stuck with  ERROR, ITUNES LIBRARY CANNOT BE SAVED, -50.  Continuing to iognore the message results in a "Not Responding" iTunes, with a required force shutdown.  I have used the File, Library, Organize feature several times today.  Weeks of effort and I am right back where I started.  Steve would be turning over in his grave, where's Apple's perfection?  Customers are begging for alternatives and I've just joined their ranks.  I want and love my media library but my life is not structured to this type of time committment.

  • Album order: missing track #

I have about 7300 songs in my iTunes library. Most of these I imported from the original CD using the "Get CD Track Names" to fill in the song names, etc. About two thirds of my songs have no Track Number saved (if you Get Info on a track, the little box is empty). The problem is that since upgrading to 7.6, the albums that don't have track numbers don't play in the correct order, and there doesn't appear to be a way to sort them in their original album order. In previous versions of iTunes, the tracks were in the correct order if I sorted by album or artist. My questions are:
    1. Why did this change in 7.6?
    2. How did previous versions know the order in which to play songs on an album? Is that information saved in the iTunes .xml file or someplace like that?
    3. Is there a way to fix this without manually adding track numbers to 5,000+ songs?

Not as yet, but some people have found that re-encoding them to a different file format has helped - but only in a limited few cases.
Remember that (in my view) iTM's primary raisin d'être is to make your music available from your computer to your iOS device so it doesn't matter if any music is matched - it's just available to your iOS device in it's current format as with manual syncing.
Of course in reality many people were hoping for more and I understand the frustration with this. For example I was hoping iTM would fix all my id3 tags so I could harmonise my 4 'puters libraries but that ain't gonna happen.

  • Missing tracks in iTunes album folder

This evening I downloaded a 28-track album from the iTunes store. All 28 tracks show up in iTunes and on my iPod. All 28 tracks play in iTunes and on my iPod.
I backed up the new album by copying the iTunes folder to my external hard drive.
But then.....when I checked the back-up, I was surprised to see that only 2 out of 28 tracks on the new album had been copied to my external drive. Twenty-six tracks appear to be missing.
So I went to the original iTunes folder, and found the 26 of the 28 tracks appear to be missing there as well.
I then did a hard drive search-by-name for some of the missing tracks, and nothing turned up. But they must be on the hard drive somewhere, right? Or I couldn't play them in iTunes.
    Baffled.

    Scratch this thread.
Rebooted the computer twice, and all missing files have magically reappeared in their folder.
    Go figure!

I downloaded an album from i Tunes to my i Phone 4 but somehow all but two of the tracks have deleted themselves from there. When I try to synch again (from a Windows PC) I can't upload the missing tracks again. They are playable from the PC but not the i Phone. Any ideas?

You may have to sync all your music off your phone (by unchecking Sync Music on the Music tab of your iTunes sync settings and syncing), then sync it back on to fix this.

  • Missing tracks and missing parts of tracks when i purchased a full album??

    hey all,
ok. heres the deal.. i recently purchased Red Hot Chili Peppers: Greatest Hits from the itunes store.. ive made purchases before im quite capable of making purchases for music apps and topping up my account.  Now for some reason this time everything seemed to have worked fine the first time i listened to the cd.. (however i could be mistaken) but now when i try to listen to the entire album song 2 will skip ahead to the next track in the middle of the song.. and song 4 will skip ahead before it even starts the song.  there are a few more tracks on the cd where it wont let me listen to the full track. only the first few seconds or min. depending one what track hasnt seem to downloaded fully.   what the heck!  so everything seems verified when i check my account it says downloaded.  however it seems it is only partially.  there are bits and pieces of the entire album missing how to i get what i paid for !!!!!   apple seems impossible to get ahold of and i want to listen to what i paid money for darn it!
anytime i want to listen to the album i cant.  even if i go to the album under purchases it still does the same thing.. somebody please help me. ?
    * even if i try and fast forward through one of these parts that seems to be missing it wont even fast forward through it will just skip ahead to the next track in the middle of the song!
    * yes ive tried updating itunes same thing.

If your country's iTunes Store allows you to redownload purchased tracks, I'd delete your current copies of the dodgy tracks and try redownloading fresh copies. For instructions, see the following document:
Downloading past purchases from the App Store, iBookstore, and iTunes Store
Otherwise, I'd report the problem to the iTunes Store.
Log in to the Store. Click on "Account" in your Quick Links. When you're in your Account information screen, go down to Purchase History and click "See all".
Find the items that are not playing properly. If you can't see "Report a Problem" next to the items, click the "Report a problem" button. Now click the "Report a Problem" links next to the items.

I had this same problem and started a thread, but for the most part nobody responded and those who did somehow didn't understand what the problem was.

I'm sure the problem is sweat getting into the apple supplied headphone "remote." Basically even the smallest drop can slide down the wire and get into the unit.
Unfortunately I haven't found a solution other than to get a Belkin remote adapter and some sport headphones. This doesn't give you voice over, but you can still control the volume, skip, etc.
I've been doing this for a couple weeks now and it hasn't had a freak out since.

  • List View shows all tracks of CD, grid view is missing tracks

I imported all my CDs into my iTunes library over the holidays. Over 40 GB of music. Now, I discover a flakey problem. On a CD, if I view via list view, the library shows 13 tracks. When switching to grid view and double-clicking on album, it shows tracks 1,2,4,6,9,12
When I use windows explorer, the iTunes folder only shows tracks 1,2,4,6,9,12. Yet I can play all 13 tracks on PC and iPod. Where are the 'missing' tracks being stored and why don't they show in both views? This is happening on quite a lot of the CDs that were imported, but others are fine.

This is most likely due to the content of the ID3 tags in the imported files. If a track features more than one artist, iTunes uses the first artist in the list to sort and organise the files. So one or more files imported from a CD might be stored in another artist's folder. iTunes plays the full album because it knows where all the tracks are (by virtue of the iTunes library database).
To get around this problem, edit the information for all the tracks on an album so the the "Artist" tag has the main artist first in the list.

  • Missing track from download

    Hi,
I am in the middle of downloading an album but one of the tracks is not listed.
It isn't in my library either, how can I get the missing track.
Oh how I would love some proper support from apple instead of this forum!

If the track doesn't appear automatically once the album download is complete, look under the Store menu in iTunes for the "Check for available downloads" command and run that. You may find the track there to be downloaded.
If not, contact the iTunes Store Customer Service department through the form you'll find by selecting the most applicable section of their Support page (that is how you get support from the iTunes Store) and explain the problem to them.
    Regards.

  • Purchased album missing from library

I purchased an album yesterday on my PC and synched it to my iPod. Today I went to sync my phone and the album is gone. It is still appearing in my list as "Purchased" but I can't make it appear in my library and can't redownload it. I definitely didn't delete it. Any help please?

I managed to fix the problem.
    Here's what I did.
    1. Copy the purchased album folder and files from the iTunes directory to a different location (Desktop), then delete the whole purchased album from iTunes.
    2. Missing track still does not show as an available download, so iTunes thinks it still exists.
    3. Locate track that iTunes thinks is the missing track (it's a ripped CD).
    4. Copy the whole ripped album to the desktop, then delete the album from iTues.
    5. Missing purchased track now shows in the Store as an available song. Re-download the whole album.
    6. Add copy of ripped album back into iTunes.
    7. Enjoy.
Trouble is, I expect this may happen with other songs/albums, and I fear my iTunes library has been corrupted. Something else to investigate. :-(

  • Album missing from Purchased

I can't find an album I downloaded. I went to re-download Against Me! "White Crosses" and I'm no longer able to. The album isn't showing in my purchased list.
I suspect there are more like this? Can anyone advise if they've experienced / resolved?
    Pretty Frustrating...

Thanks for the tips, unfortunately, the missing tracks do not show up under "purchased" and I already had the iCloud setting checked.
I did find one other song I was missing in the hidden section, so at least I've learned something!
UPDATE: I did manage to get one of the missing tracks back. I revisited the iTunes store and when I opened up the album, my two missing tracks showed ".99" where they had shown "Purchased" before. When I clicked on the ".99" button, a window opened saying I already had purchased that track and would I like to download it again. I did so and the track is in my library. Unfortunately, the second track froze up during download, so I'll have to try it again later.

  • Missing tracks with new firmware 2.11

I'm guessing that I can't be the only person on here who has had trouble managing the music on their Zen Touch after upgrading to 2..0, but I can't find any posts that mentions it. IMO the new firmware is terrible in the way it changes the way Mediasource shows the music on your player and even if you use Windows Media Player or the Windows Explorer type utitily the system of folders is rubbish as well.
Has anyone had issues with whole albums missing or ID3 tracks not showing correct information since moving to the latest firmware? When i connect my player to my PC I have a few albums which show on my PC as being on the player but when I'm using the player regularly when I'm out and about the albums are missing.
One other request. Can you guys tell me how you are transferring music to the player now? I would be interested to know if you do it through Mediasource or via copy and paste using explorer? If you do the latter where exactly do you put the music? Do you put it in the music folder under "media", and also do you put the artist folder in there or just dump the albums in there?

I could not believe how much of a **bleep** up the team at Creative had made upon installing the firmware update. Im not at all happy with the fact that it is not reversable either... It really blows ey mate?

    Hello Flemcat,
After reviewing your post, it sounds like you are missing content from iTunes library. I would recommend that you read this article, it may be able to help the issue.

  • Itunes import only missing tracks

When I imported my CD library into iTunes, I had limited disk space, so I only imported tracks that I like. Now that I have a larger hard drive, I'd like to import the rest of those tracks. Is there any easy way to import only missing tracks, leaving the previously-imported tracks (and their ratings and play counts) alone? If I have to manually check each album to see which tracks are already existing, it'll be a huge undertaking.

Just reimport the entire CD. It'll ask if you want to replace the tracks already imported.
    Click Yes.
This won't change anything (playcounts, ratings) or anything else.
