Use APD to fetch data from Query's Structure

Hi,
i have created a query , with a fixed structure in the Row area and two keyfigures.
I have this query on DSO.
i want to store the same query output to one table.
How can i achive this?
I think to use the APD, but as i have fix structure in query , APD is not the solution . correct me if i am worng.
Please suggest.

Currently I am trying to load data into ODS only. But I want to avoid this path. I can always extract data out of the ODS to Flat File through Open Hub, but that will require twice the time to extract data.
First from Query to ODS and second from ODS to Flat File through open hub.
Basically, I want to automate this process and that is why I don't want to opt the path for RSCRM_BAPI t-code.

I need to go in the reverse direction and extract the data from the Query and load into the PSA and then to a DSO.
I am using RSCRM_BAPI for this purpose and have got data into the extract table successfully.
But , my query has some variable screen wherein we need to give some inputs for selection.
I have create those Infoobjects and put them in the DSO.
How do I capture these inputs of the selection screen for storing in fields of my DSO as the Extract table does not store these inputs ???

write the whole insert query desired by you with the help of excel formulas.they are very easy or google 'how to use excel formulas".
then copy the fromula to whole set of data in excel fields.
run the insert query in excel as batch.

Slow Speed While fetching data from SQL 2008 using DoQuery.

I am working for an AddOn and tried to use DoQuery for fetching data from SQL 2008 in C#.
There are around 148 records which full fill this query condition but it takes much time to fetch the data.
I wanna know that is there any problem in this code by which my application is getting slower.
I used break Points and checked it, I founds that while connecting to the server it is taking time.

your code and query look correct. But can you ellaborate a little bit.
It seems to be a DI API program ( no UI API ) ?
When you say "I founds that while connecting to the server it is taking time." do you mean the recordset query or the DI API connection to SBO ? The later would be "normal" since the connection can take up to 30 seconds.
To get data it is usually better to use direct SQL connections.

Multiple select queries used in Excel BI report ,fetching data from Sharepoint DB(SP2010_Prod_ProjectServer) causing blockage on DB ,when more than one workbook(same copy of Excel BI Report) refreshed using Refresh All option.

I am using mutiple select queries to fetch data from Project Server 2010 DB(its sharepoint DB) and these queries fetch data in Excel BI report by establishing connection with DB using instance name and all. I have enhance all these select queries and data
is being fetched in secs. but when more than one copy of same Excel BI report is refreshed using 'Refresh All' option, then these select queries cause blockage on DB.
Please let me know mitigation for this blockage issue.
Should I use begin transaction and commit transaction statements/ shared lock statements.

Dear all,
I am using 2 pool table a005 and a006 in my program. I am using select query to fetch data from these table. i.e. example is mentioned below.
select * from a005 into table t_a005 for all entries in it_itab

                   and     matnr in s_matnr
                   and     aplp   in s_aplp
                   and     kmunh = it_itab-kmunh.
here i can't create index also as tables are pool table...If there is any solutions , than please help me for same..

it would be helpful to know what other fields are in the internal table you are using for the FOR ALL ENTRIES.
In general, you should code the order of your fields in the select in the same order as they appear in the database. If you do not have the top key field, then the entire database is read. If it's large then it's going to take a lot of time. The more key fields from the beginning of the structure that you can supply at faster the retrieval.

I have a query regarding accessing archived data through PBS.
I have archived SAP FI data ( Object FI_DOCUMNT) using SAP standard process through TCODE : SARA.
Now please tell me can I acees this archived data through the PBS add on FM : '/PBS/SELECT_INTO_TABLE'.
Do I need to do something else to access data archived through SAP standard process ot not ? If yes, then please tell me as I am not able to get the data using the above FM.

How to fetch data from DataBase using Servlet ?

Till now, i was just sending values from web page and receive the data in excel format using servlets.
But, now, i want to fetch data from data base. I will be giving inputs in the web page(for the query)....ON click of submit button,
Servlet should be called.
Depending on the input, query has to be executed, and response should be sent to the user.
How to do it?

In the error it is showing that file expense_categories.csv in SOURCE_LOCATION not found but I am 100% sure that file is very much there.
Is anybody face the same issue?
Do we need to configure something before loading data from a flat file from OWB Client?

Now I am able to fetch data from flat files from OWB Server as well as OWB Client.
One way I have achieved as suggested by you
1) Creating location on the OWB Client
2) Samples the files at client
3) Created & Configured external table
4) Copy all flat files on OWB Server
5) Updated the location which I created at the client.
Other way
1) Creating location on the OWB Client
2) Samples the files at client
3) Created & Configured external table
4) Copied flat files on the sever in same drive & directory . like if my all flat files are on C:\data at OWB Client then I copied flat file C:\data on the OWB Server. But this is feasible for Non-Windows.
Hence my problem solved.

I have 15 columns in a table, in that 2 columns containing blob (images).<o:p></o:p>
More than 22 lakhs records are in a table.<o:p></o:p>
While i am try to fetch data from this table it nearly takes 25~30 sec to execute that query.<o:p></o:p>
When i deleted the two columns containing blob and i tried its executing fast .<o:p></o:p>
I should not change the table schema.<o:p></o:p>
Views also i created and indexes also there in a table.<o:p></o:p>
How can i improve the query execution speed?.<o:p></o:p>

And how large is the size of BLOB data in your table? If it's several giga bytes, then the time is simply required to read the amount of data from disk and to transfer it to the Client.

In BOPF creation of Quey to a node fetches data from the Data Base Table attached to that Node,
But in my requirement I have to fetch data Present in a Standard table and Display it in the FPM List Using FBI.
** Can we Fetch the data From Standard Table and fill the Node in BOPF, Is this possible as the standard Table do not contain KEY field which BOPF uses for Data Fetching ?

In my Requirement I want to make ROOT Node as Transient Node.
When I create a Sub Node to a Root Node, I am able to get this option to make this sub node as a Transient Node .
By selecting 'Standard<-->Extended' option in the Menu item 'GoTo' I am able to get this Transient Node check box field for the Sub Nodes.
I want to make a ROOT Node as a Transient Node.
(Which Version you are using, and which transaction you are using to create BO . we are using BOBX Transaction, Version Ehp 6 )

How does the query decide which Infoprovider to fetch data from

Could somebody please explain what steps go on in background to enable the query to decide which Infoproviders it should fetch data from in a multiprovider.Assuming that in the multprovider we have some infocubes that are logically partitioned by Fiscal Year and other cubes that are not.

Does the RRKMULTIPROVHINT technique work in case of a multiprovider that is not homogenous... Also in case there are 5 infocubes, does the select query run on fact table of all infocubes or are select queries run initially on the dimension tables and based upon which infocube has the required data for the query the fact table is queried..

Anyone does have any idea about How to write SQL query to fetch data from Sub-partition.
Actually i have one table having composite paritition(Range+list)
Now if i want to fetch data from main partition(Range) the query will be

Now i want to fetch data at sub-partition level(List) .But i am not able to get any SQL query for that.

I want to fetch data from ORACLE database using Web Dynpro.How can I do this?

1) Are you sure that you get no results? It sounds like you are having name resolution issues, which would imply that you should be getting an ORA-00942 error indicating that the table doesn't exist (or that you don't have access to the table). If you are not seeing this error, I would tend to suspect an overzealous exception handler.
2) What database account owns the table? What database account is your ASP.Net application using to connect? Assuming these two accounts are different, your application would either have to
- Explicitly prefix the table name with the schema name
- Have a public or private synonym that maps the table name to the fully qualified identifier schema_name.table_name
- Issue the command ALTER SESSION SET CURRENT_SCHEMA = <<schema name>> in each session, in which case all queries in the session would use the specified schema name as the default if no schema name is prefixed.
