Use view transtions issue

On the wiki page about flex hero sdk , I find some view transtions fire on view changed.
But I can't use these classes in flash builder burrito. Can't find the namespaces in the sdk.
I only install the flash builder burrito. What else should I do to preview the new features about flex hero ?

Office 365 SharePoint Online can be problematic when it comes to exceeding the list item threshold (e.g. 5,000).
Examples of what happens after exceeding the threshold (e.g. 5,000 items):
You can’t create new forms for the list in SharePoint Designer.
You may have challenges with metadata fields in the forms (e.g. adding metadata values, editing metadata values, deleting the metadata column from the list).

Issue I'd like assistance with: how can I create a custom NewForm in SharePoint Designer
when the list exceeds the threshold limit, given this is Office 365 SharePoint Online and I don't have access to increase that limit?
As a control for my testing, I created another list with just a few custom columns with no list items --it worked fine for that list.
I also tried clearing local AppData cache which didn't solve it. I'd need Central Admin on O365 SharePoint Online to increase the threshold which I don't have access
to do. Errors received in SharePoint Designer:
"Could not save the list changes to the server." After getting this, I tried to work around
the create new forms issue by saving a copy of the original NewForm as NewForm2 and got the root error that I suspected was underlying it all:
“Server error: the attempted operation is prohibited because it exceeds the list view threshold enforced by the administrator”.
Any ideas for how to create a new list form in SD?

I just found a couple new workarounds instead of using SharePoint Designer:
Method 1: Add web parts to the form pages on the client side:
Go to the list and execute one of these actions depending what form you want to edit: create a new item (NewForm), edit an item (EditForm), or display an item (DispForm).
With the form you want to edit displayed, go to the gear icon and click "Edit Page".
You should now see the web part page show up with "Add a Web Part" as an option.
Add a Content Editor or Script Editor web part.
Add your custom code to either one to manipulate the HTML objects using your favorite web languages.
Method 2: Use InfoPath 2013.
The InfoPath 2013 route appears to work.

Did anyone use views to create BI Bean reports? It is failing to create any report when we try to use...

We are trying to expose the dimension table as a view by filtering some records.
For example: PATIENTS is my dimension table which has the following fields.
1) PATIENT_ID
2) PATIENT_NAME
3) ALL_PATINETS_ID
4) ALL_PATINETS_NAME
5) PATIENT_STATUS
We create a view PATIENTS_V:
CREATE OR REPLACE VIEW PATIENTS_V
AS
SELECT PATIENT_ID,
PATIENT_NAME,
ALL_PATINETS_ID,
ALL_PATINETS_NAME
FROM PATINETS
WHERE PATIENT_STATUS = 'ACTIVE';
Now I am exposing this view to the OLAP catalog.
In cwm2_olap_table_map.Map_DimTbl_HierLevelAttr I mention the view name to map the dimension table to the level attribute.
There are no errors in the validate process.
PROBLEM:
Now when I try to create a presentation involving this dimension it throws an error saying the... some thing is a GROUP BY expression.
I saw lot of questions asked related to this issue in this forum but there is solution posted.

I have a band video that I want to edit. In iMove 09, I could clip to crop or add a transition or both without altering the audio. In iMovie 11, the audio lower or drops out when I clip for and use a transtion. Is there a setting to preven this?

Thanks for that info! Even in my time answering questions on iMovie Discussion Group, I never had a good understanding of when and how Optimize Movie came into play. I always would import as Optimized and Large Size and figured that was good enough. But knowing you got much, much more flexibility doing it the way you describe gives me a much better understanding of the different routes you can take into the Event Library.

I am relatively new to Web Parts pages. I created a page with list view web part and a Infopath Form Web Part, which are connect via the "Get Form From" option. My users would like to be able to use views dependent on what
they are looking for. So I created different views. However, when I select the view from within the Web Part, it changes the web part page to the list view page. I must be doing something wrong. How do I configure the list view to show
the selected view and results within the existing "list view web part"?

Sorry, but this has not been answered to my liking. The "List View Web Part" has the ability for the user to select the view from within the web part, so there you should be able to select a different view and have it appear within the same web part.
Does anyone know how to complete this task?

Getting error while importing metadata using View Objects

I am trying to create a repository using View Object in OBIEE 11.1.5.1 but getting error while viewing the data, after importing the metadata in the repository "[nQSError: 77031] Error occurs while calling remote service ADFService11G. Details: Runtime error for service -- ADFService11G - oracle/apps/fnd/applcore/common/ApplSession".
I am also getting error "žADFException-2015: The BI Server is incompatible with the BI-ADF Broker Servlet: BI Server protocol version = null, BI-ADF Broker Servlet protocol version = 1" during testing my sample which is deployed to Admin server. I followed BI Adminstrator help file guide in order to create the sample for creating repository using view object.

Thx for that im gonna try it....but is there a way to do it without using toolbar or cmd-c...? i mean using only the mouse?why does it have to highlight the file even though i click a bit next to it....?using icon view i can right click next to the folder and i wont have a problem but with list view that i prefer using it will highlight the whole row.....and i dont find free space to right click cause i got many files

Hierarchy Viewer CSS issue

I have a Fusion Web Application in Jdeveloper 12C that gets the colors and skinning from a CSS file.
When i add:
af|dvt-hierarchyViewer
    background-image: -webkit-linear-gradient(bottom, #FFFFFF 0%, #000000 300%);
    background-color: currentColor;
    background-attachment: scroll;
to my CSS file and run my application, the Hierarchy opens with a grey colour but then it flashes back to the default light blue gradient of fusionFx-simple-v2.desktop as soon as it tries to fetch data.
But if i change these settings on the Hierarchy itself, the colour changes to the grey and it stays grey.
Any help with this will be appreciated

Click on the words "Album by Artist/Year," one click at a time, and it will cycle through the possible options.
One of them is juts plain "Album."

Using VIEW inside a stored procedure

So I have a View designed in one file that validates someone who is authorized.
Then I have a stored procedure to display authorized stationeries created before a given date. Its takes a parameter @CreatedOn.
How can I use VIEW in my stored procedure so I can display all the authorized which are set 1 before a given date?
My VIEW:
ALTER VIEW vw_AuthorizedStationeries AS
SELECT Authorized
FROM dbo.Stationeries
WHERE Authorized = 1
And my stored procedure:

Try something like below, You need to replace CreatedDate column with appropriate date column in your table.
1. Alter the view to get the required date:
ALTER VIEW vw_AuthorizedStationeries AS
SELECT Authorized, CreatedDate
FROM dbo.Stationeries
WHERE Authorized = 1
2. Alter SP:
CREATE PROCEDURE usp_stationeries (@CreatedOn datetime)
AS
BEGIN
SELECT Authorized
FROM vw_AuthorizedStationeries
WHERE CreatedDate <= @CreatedOn
END
GO
OR
You can pull required information directly from your table:
CREATE PROCEDURE usp_stationeries (@CreatedOn datetime)
AS
BEGIN
SELECT Authorized
FROM dbo.Stationeries
WHERE CreatedDate <= @CreatedOn and Authorized = 1
END

BOXI3.0 Universe Design using view or query in SQL

I would like to know what are the effect to the BOXI3.0 or SQL performance if:
1. We are using view or query in creating the universe?
2. Is it the correct way of creating the universe only from tables?
3. If need to do combination between tables and views?

Hi Alias,
Designer has the capability to import tables and views you cna use in the design of the universe. Furthermore, you can also create a derived table in the universe - in simple terms it is much like a view, but the code is in the universe availble to the universe designer.
With all this available to you, it is pretty much up to you how you want to tackle the design. I would say first prise is using the physical tables in the databse, then move to using a view and if there are certain restrictions on the designer, use the derived tables.
Remeber this, at the end of the day, any SQL code generated or used is passed down to the database to be processed, may it be the query from the universe directly on the tables or by means of the views or derived tables - the database server will need to crunch through it all - and this is what will determine your performance.

Hi Kalyani,
We normally go for View or infoset when the data to be fetched in BW is distributed in different tables in SAP R/3.
Had the data been available in one table we can easily build our datasource on that table but if there are more tables then its not possible to do it without Views or Infosets. You can use Function Modules to build your datasource in case it involves complex logic to figure out the data from various tables.
Depending upon the table relationships we create view and include various fields from these tables in that view. Same is with the Infosets, you can have more flexible options like Outer Join, left outer Join etc.
