User Form Settings Import/Export ?

Hello Fellow SAP members,
I am currently creating new user accounts for my company and I have 100++ users to set settings for...the columns they can see...the authorizations they are given etc etc.
Its an extremely tedious task to do which will take me days to complete and i was wondering is there a import/export function where i can copy and paste the settings for a new user instead of having to go through each and everyone's accounts just to set it?
Any help or suggestions would be MUCH appreciated!

Hello,
We have several users in our company and each time we make a change to our form setting we need to change all the other users manually as we want everyone's screen to look the same.
How can we just change one users form settings (i.e., information shown on the columns headers when we do a find or info displayed on the S/O columns, etc.) and have it apply to every user in our company?

How to retain users' Form Setting?

Hi Experts,
As subjected, I have setup UDF in categories and displayed in preferred sequence. I have also setup the Form Settings hiding and showing preferred fields and rearranging the sequence. I realize when I log in with the SAME User Id on a Different Workstation, the Form Settings I had setup doesnt seem to reflect according.
Please help me or guide me how I can retain users' Form Settings??

Hi Dianne,
An SAP support briefed me that we should always use the FILE > EXIT function, because an inproper shutdown by click on the "x" by the window pane will mean that SAP may not have done a proper save and shutdown. And maybe this could affect the UDFs visibility and sequence that was already set on that PC.
Also, I have confirmed that the GENERAL > USERS > COPY FORM SETTINGS function, copies only the relabeling, UDFs category..etc onto another user, but it does not copy the visibility and sequence that was pre-set on another PC. When you try to login on another PC, you will simply need to reset the visibility and sequence of your UDF again on all modules.
Sad case.

Import, Export and Preset settings from TimeMachine

I'd like to recover only my Import, Export and Preset settings of Aperture 3.0 from my backup disk using TimeMachine. Can someone pls guide me on what files to look for and where to find them? (I just reformatted my MBP and hence this query).

You will find the setting in your User Library in the folder
Your Home Directory > Library > Application Support > Aperture
Everything with "preset" in its name might be interesting to you.
Reveal the User Library by going to the Finder main menu bar, select "Go" and hold down the "option" key, until you see the Library in the drop down menu. Select it.
In the Library Finder window navigate to the "Application Support" folder, then "Aperture".
Drag the Aperture folder to the Finder Sidebar for easy access, then open Time Machine.
Go back in Time to the time you want to restore from, then restore the "Aperture Folder" to your Desktop and copy the files you need to your Library.

Can Users have their unique Form Settings for the List of Items (Item Search)?

When any user add and remove columns for the List of Items (Item Search) via Form Settings, these changes are automatically updated for all SAP users.
Is there any way we that each user have their own unique List of Items form settings?
This is important as users for different departments will be need to see different information as they are searching for Item Master records.

This is not Possible.
Form Setting of Item Master Data will apply for all Users.
For all Users different Form Settings not Possible but you can guide your users to see while Searching Master Data.

User-Defined Fields and Form Settings

I have a User-Defined Field in the table "OCLG" and I'd like to show it in the "Activities Overview for Business Partner - xxx" window.
Is possibile to do that by the "Form Settings" window? Here I don't find U-D Fields. Is there a way to show them?
Or is there an other solution?

How to select source and how to select target user?
The one currently logged on as well as the one selected are greyed out ... I'm not getting it how to use this.

General Authorization, User name --> General --> Document Settings --> set to no authorization.
now the user can click n see the form setting, but cant change any prior settings.

User Admin Import/Export

I'm trying to get a report of all IDs in our portal & the roles assigned to them. When I run User Administration -> Import/Export -> User Data Export & I select <ALL USERS> the results are often missing data. Sometimes I don't get all records; more frequently I get all records (all IDs) but not all roles are included. e.g. I've just tried it again & have found some IDs which have no data against the role= field (but when I look at the ID I can see that they do have a role). Other IDs are reported with (say) 2 roles, but I know they have 3 or 4.
Has anyone seen this? Does anyone know how to fix it?

Import/Export xml data from subtree of dynamic XFA form

We would like to import/export xml data (subtree) of a dynamic xfa form. The following script does only work with static AcroForms:
formular.content.subformDaten.Button1[1]::click - (JavaScript, client)
event.target.exportAsXFDF({aFields:["formular[0].content[0].subformDaten[0]"]});
With dynamic forms the script does export an empty xml file (no data is included, only xml root tag):

The Problem that Daniel posted was originally mine. Now after subscribing to this forum myself, I try to describe the aim of using exportAsXFDF/importAnXFDF.
exportData("", false) and exportXFAData works, in my opinion, only with a DataConnection. In my form I have indeed such a connection for sending the whole form. But in addition I need the possibility to export and import only part of the data without overwriting the rest of the filled form.
exportAsXFDF works with static forms. So there MUST be a possibility that works with dynamic forms, right?
I hope anyone has a solution.
