User Reconciliation Groups - PSCD

Hi Experts,
We are on ECC 604 and use the PSCD module for our Accounts Receivable.  Is there a way to maintain the User Reconciliation Groups without it requiring it to be a transport?  Tcode:  s_kk4_74002323  Program: SAPLFKV2.  Even though we've added the tcode to an end user's role, we get the error that the system has to be open to maintain the table (user name and reconc. grp).

It is an IMG - Customizing activity hence it has to be transported from the Golden client to target client lets say Quality or Production .
It is because the system status ( Client status ) is kept non modifiable for IMG activities hence you will have to transport it .
There are 2 alternatives available :
1. Transport the same from golden client ( the client in which all customizing is maintained ) .
2. Talk to your basis guy and ask him to open ( change the setting of the client to modifiable ) the client for sometime , there you can maintain the entries and then the basis guy can close the client for customizing .
From security point of view point no. 1 is advisable and from comfort/ease of use point of view point no. 2 is recommended . have a word with your basis counter part and see how things work.

  • User and Group Recon Error with OID

    On a new development installation of OID and OIM, I am getting the following error while trying to run either User or Group reconciliations:
    LDAP: error code 53 - Function Not Implemented, search filter attribute modifytimestamp is not indexed/cataloged
    How can I add the appropriate index to allow these tasks to run?

    4.3 Using Custom Attributes in Oracle Internet Directory
    You can search for an attribute in Oracle Internet Directory only if the attribute is indexed. By default, standard attributes of the user and group entries are indexed. If you use a custom attribute, you can index it by using the catalog command. For example, if you migrate automount data to be used by automount programs such as amd or autofs, index the automountKey attribute by using the catalog command, as follows:

    Have you tried running Repair Permissions?

  • How to change default /Users and /Groups to different Volume?

    Users are created in /Volumes/<boot>/Users and groups in /Volumes/<boot>/Groups.
    We need these to be created on a different volume, eg., /Volumes/External/Users, and /Volumes/External/Groups.
    Setup Assistant correctly put user Backups into */Volumes/External/Shared Items/Backups* and also correctly put web services on /Volumes/External/ServiceData -- we want to do the same for Groups and Users.
    Groups are the most critical, as the group needs bulk storage. Users we could leave as is if it can't be done.
    How can this be configured? We've read File Server Admin, Open Directory Admin, and Advanced Server admin from http://www.apple.com/server/macosx/resources/documentation.html without finding an answer.

    1. Create new folders on the external volume to hold users and groups, but to prevent confusion name them something other than "Users" and "Groups". /Volumes/External/NetUsers and /Volumes/External/NetGroups would be reasonable choices.
    2. Share both of these folders (in Server Admin -> server name in sidebar -> File Sharing -> Volumes & Browse modes -> select each folder -> click Share near the top right).
    3. Enable both folders for automounting on clients (Server Admin -> server name in sidebar -> File Sharing -> Share Points-> select each folder -> Share Point tab under that -> Enable Automount option) with the default options (Directory: /LDAPv3/127.0.0.1, Protocol: AFP, Use for: User home folders and group folders). Be sure to click Save (not just OK in the dialog).
    4. To migrate users, run Workgroup Manager, and change the home location for the users you want to move (select Accounts in the toolbar -> /LDAPv3/127.0.0.1 from the hidden pop-up menu under that -> User icon tab at the left -> select the user(s) you want to change -> Home tab on the right -> select the NetUsers option from the "Where" list). Then, for each user, run this command on the server: "sudo cp -Rp /Users/username /Volumes/External/NetUsers".
    5. Similarly, move Group folders in WGM (Accounts -> /LDAP... -> Groups icon on left -> select groups to move -> Group Folder tab on right -> NetGroups in the list). Then, for each group, run "sudo cp -Rp /Groups/groupname /Volumes/External/NetGroups".
    6. Test to make sure all is working before deleting the old user and group folders from /Users and /Groups (do NOT delete /Users and /Groups themselves, just the individual folders from under them).

    I have a big  problem with Reporting Services 2005 working on Windows 2003 Server.
    RS work as Network service, on subdomain reporting.mydomain with SSL wildcard certificate *.mydomain,
    Anonymous access: disabled and basic authentication: enabled
    ReportManager and reportServer has defualt virtual folders  (/reporting, /reportserver)
    My problem is:
    1) I can't manage security roles and site settings with report maanger. when I try assign roles to new user or group I get followng error:

    when i try to execute reports in report manager, parameters controls are not displayed correctly (very simple text boxes) and I can see:

    and I can't see my report in browser (IE 6.0) but only export to PDF, Excel...
    other functionality are working  fine i.e upload new files, creatign folders....
    2) Also my reportserver virtual folder does not work correctly.
    When I navigate to mydomain/reportserver I can see content of this virtual folder, than when I navigate to ReportService.soap i can see normal ReportServer view

    I just wanted to know if you found a solution for part (1).  I just recently encountered the problem where:

    However all my reports are run from the most recent data.  The rsReportNotReady message appears in Report Manager but not the Report Server interface; the latter is able to render the reports.   But both have incorrectly displayed textbox inputs.

    How do I add a user's group calendar in iCal?
    I just keep getting "the account was not found"
    But the account works for its own network calendar.
    None of the following locations work -
    master.mydomain.net:8008/principals/groups/domainusers/calendar
    master.mydomain.net:8008/principals/wikis/domainusers/calendar
    master.mydomain.net:8008/calendars/_uids_/wiki-domainusers/calendar
    and every variation I can think of (I've tried master.local, http:// & webcal:// and a / at the end)
    I can add a users network calendar account to iCal.
    I can subscribe to a group / wiki calendar in iCal.
    I can add an event on the wiki calendar as a user.
    But I want a user to be able to add an event to a group calendar in iCal.
    Any ideas would be appreciated.

    I tried that url and I can open it in Safari and I even can add the calander in iCal on a macbook with 10.5 - but i just can't add it on my macbookpro with snow leopard.
    Did anybody made that work on a snow leopard machine?

  • How to get EDQ to automatically email matches to users or groups of users

    I understand that the way to achieve this might be something like:
    1) develop a custom email trigger (as per http://docs.oracle.com/middleware/1213/edq/DQSAG/triggers.htm#sthref34)
    2) have the EDQ administrator deploy the email trigger to the EDQ server
    but does anyone already have experience or even an example of this.
    Alternatively, is it possible to achieve this simply using a 'Script' processor in a process (which would avoid having to develop custom code that sits outside of EDQ projects)?
    In what circumstance would one need to configure a match processor's 'Relationship Decision trigger' (under Advanced Options)?
    As some background to this question please note that we are in fact using the 'Case Generator' processor that is part of 'EDQ-CDS - Data Quality Health Check Connector for EBS TCA'. This processor is used to generate cases that are in fact nothing to do with matching records per se (which I believe is the 'typical' use for match processors) but from records that have some data quality issue (e.g. a null value for some attribute that should be populated).

    If you enable email notifications on the server, users will automatically get emails in the following events:
    - The user is assigned a case (this will be an email per case - so be mindful of volumes)
    - A case that the user has assigned to them is updated
    - If a user 'created' the case (only possible for real-time cases where the user generated the case from real-time screening after user-specific authentication), the user is emailed on update to the case.
    If your requirements go beyond this (for example you cannot use assignment to user as the point at which you want a user or group to be notified), you may need to use triggers, which will require some specialist assistance.

  • Filter List View by User and Groups in SharePoint Does Not Work on site Restore to another Server

    We have a scenario where users from a group or seeing items of list views entered by users of other group.
    For e.g, we have (ALL are Active Directory users and are authenticated as such)
    GROUP A with USER-A1, USER-A2, USER-A3
    GROUP B with USER-B1, USER-B2, USER-B3
    GROUP C with USER-C1, USER-C2, USER-C3
    We created views called
    GROUP_A_VIEW
    GROUP_B_VIEW
    GROUP_C_VIEW
    We created a web part for each of this view
    And from Advanced Settings, added Target audience for each VIew with respect. For e.g. if Target AUdience is Group A, then USER-A1 will see items entered by himself or USER-A2, and USER-A3 but not the mbers of GROUP_B and GROUP_C
    It works fine on the our development machine.
    However when we backup and restore to other machine containing the same Active Directory users, 
    GROUP A members are seeing records entered by GROUP B
    GROUP B members are seeing records entered by GROUP C
    GROUP C members are seeing records entered by GROUP D
    ....etc.
    Any help will be appreciated.

    Groups and users are stored locally in a cache on each site collection. Within that site collection they have IDs assigned which are used internally to identify those groups.
    What is probably happening is that the groups you've targeted are being identified by IDs which are not consistent between your source site collection and your destination collection.

  • Hiding a document library from specific users or groups.

    Just FYI I am far from a SharePoint but have able to accomplish a lot from everyone's help on the forums, so thank you in advace.
    Now, Is it possible to hide a document library from specific users or groups? Here is what I am trying to accomplish.
    We have a Document library that we want the whole company to view, we will call this Company Share. We then want to have a separate library/app that
    is only visible to the Finance department. Then another library that is only visible to the shipping dept.
    So when Linda from finance logs into the SharePoint site under Site Contents she should only be able to see 2 items, Company share and Finance.
    Tom from shipping will only see Company Share and Shipping. Administrators and Management will see Company share, finance and shipping.
    I was able to hide the library using sharepoint designer by checking the box "Hide from Browser" which worked but now none of the users can view the library.
    They are only able to access it via a direct URLl link.
    Any help is appreciated.

    We have installed EP 5.0 SP4...with Content Management...we configured the LDAP to Portal......all the users are maintained through LDAP only...the problem is assigning the Role's to user..here in portal how to assign the roles to the users...we are not getting the Role assignment option under Portal Admin TAB..is there any way to configure the roles to User's are Group's.....

    You can assign the roles to users and groups as below.
    1. Select the System Administration in the top level navigtion
    2. Select user administration
    3. You can search for a specific user or a group from this iView.
    4. Use the edit button to edit the profie of the user or group.
    5. Search for the role in the search iView.
    6. Add the role to the user of group and save.

  • TF201072: A user or group could not be found

    We are using TFS2010 (for source control only), and until recently
    everyone was using VS2010. Our developers just installed VS2012.
     When you go to "Pending Changes" in Team Explorer, we are seeing
    TF201072: A user or group could not be found. Verify that the
    users and groups used in your work item type definition have been added
    to Team Foundation Server., twice, at the top. We can still check-in code from VS - seems this error is ignored.
    However, we are unable to shelve changes - when you attempt to
    shelve, the same error comes up in a popup, and the shelveset is not
    saved.
    We can shelve using the command prompt (tf shelve), and
    can still shelve using VS2010, so it doesn't seem to be a permission
    issue. Also, the TFS administrator is not seeing the error message, and
    can shelve from VS2012 with no error.
    Any thoughts as to what could be causing VS to error out here? We've tried clearing out the TFS cache, creating a new workspace, and gone over every option we could find in Visual Studio.

    I'd like to know more details about the reproduce steps, and whether you have upgraded your TFS server. If you don't have permission to access the database, then you can ask TFS administrator to grant you corresponding permissions to access the database
    you're trying to access.

  • Add User to Group Behavior

    I found
    this post that explains the same issue I'm having, but the marked answer isn't relevant to my environment. I've built a user creation runbook, using 2012 R2 and this
    Active Directory Integration Pack. Everything works properly, except I'm getting strange security log events when using the Add User to Group activity.
    In one of the tests, I added a single user that was being created to about 100 different groups. Let's say one group has 50 members. When the user gets added to that group, the security audit shows that 50 users were removed from the group, and then those
    50 users were added back plus my new user. It shows this activity for every group that the user was added to. I get the following two actions for every member of the group:
    Member '-' was removed from 'Domain\Group' by 'Domain\User' on...
    Member 'DN of Member' was added to 'Domain\Group'...
    This is a problem because it makes our audit reports and notifications worthless since we'd have to read through all the noise to see an actual anomaly. I'm also concerned that if users are actually being removed and re-added to those groups, that there
    could be some consequences of that that we aren't seeing yet (i.e. application access interruptions, or what if the connection to AD is lost after removing the users but before adding them back in). Although I should say I'm not convinced that the users are
    actually being removed because as you can see above, no member information is recorded on the removal, and all the removals and additions have the same exact time stamp meaning they occurred within 1 second, which seems pretty fast given that some of our groups
    are large.
    Is this the intended behavior of the Add User to Group activity? If so, is there a workaround I can use to avoid this behavior? The next thing I'll try is using PowerShell to add the user to the group, but this option isn't ideal since the runbook will be
    managed by users who are not that familiar with scripting, so I'd like the solution to contain as little as possible.
