User "System" loced

Hello all. For entering in Oracle 10g Db we start SQLPLUS. user-name "system" and
password containing @ (my mistake), TNS error view. Presently I know that problem
in "@" symbol. While understood the user "system" is locked....
As possible change password and unlock the user?
Or create the the new user for Oracle....
Please advise ....

please sort this issue and i will be grateful to all

    Hi,
Since when did it runs in good condition? How may users connected?
15 Add-on running add-on can consume your RAM very fast.
To check if you need RAM, goto Task Manager and check if the Committed and is higher than the available
RAM then you need to add more RAM, using 64bit in your server is also an advantage.
    Thanks.

  • How do I pass Settings on my SAPPLM User System Preferences on multiple com

    Hello All,
I have put the DLL's for Solid Edge/Solid Work interface under my computer C drive and then registered them. Then I went to Solid Edge and Solid Works went to User System Preferences/ Options to make required settings on the SAP-PLM side (example setting for registering documents, creating characteristics, document load, document save...).
I have to install the interface on multiple computers now in network, with the same settings which I did on User System Preferences/ Options. Do I have to manually go to each computer to do these settings, or the process can be automated. Does my SAP-PLM User System preferences/Options also gets saved in Registery in HUSER SoftwareGedas. Can we mirror these registeries to multiple computers.
    Kindly advice.
    Thanks,
    Sachin

    Hi Sachin
    Goto <b>Link Log</b>
and press <b>SAVE button</b> in right bottom corner
choose <b>REG file option</b> and export the entries
go to any other PC and run the reg file
i Hope this answers your question.

  • LightDM greeter for a single-user system

I'm interested in using lightDM as my display manager. However, there seem to be a lot of greeters that are focused on a good experience for multi-user systems. All I'm have is a single-user system, so I'm looking for your guy's opinions on what the "best" lightDM greeter is for a single-user system. I want it to:
    * Be pretty, even if it must be a bit more heavyweight. I consider "pretty" to mean modern/flat
    * Be customizeable, hopefully with at LEAST customizeable colors, and preferably background images
    * Have either a very modern/flat icon set, if there are icons at all, or customizeable icons
    * Not force me to select my account every time I login, it should automatically "select" my account so all I have to do is enter the password. I *might* budge on this one if the design is *really* good
I'm ok if it has support for multiple users (I'm pretty sure every greeter out there will have that), but I don't want it to reserve too much space on the screen for multiple users, and I want it to still be good with one user. For example, I don't want it to be like crowd greeter, where it's nearly useless without many user accounts

Why not just test a number of greeters and evaluate which one most suits your use case?  That's the common approach with most things.
You could also try other DMs like LXDM for example, in order to see how they compare.

  • Regd : How to find Validity date for a user in central user system

    Hi Experts;
I want to get the list of users with profile SAP_ALL  with following details like validity ,user type ,user name ,user id..
I can get through SUIM for each individual systems. Its very difficult to login to each system ,generate the report. So I prefered to go for Central system
But if I use central user system I have no option to find validity and user type for the system ( SUIM - > Cross system application )
I have also tried to the table USRO2 ( which gives only the list of users in the central system )
So is there any possible ways to find the Users with profile SAP _ALL with validity date in the central user system. So that I can easily generate it as one report instead of logging to each and every system
    Regards
    Sanjeev.S

    Hi Ruchit
Thanks for your reply. I want to find the validity date of all users having SAP_ALL
profile of all child system connected through central user system .So it is possible
to do that in Centrals System by executing the report?
If I execute that report in Central user system will it give the details of all child
    system connected to central system
I think it will give only the result of Central system and not the child system connected to Central system. Please clarify me.
I can execute the report by logging to each child system ,but it takes very long hours for me since there are many system in my landscape.
    Awaiting for your reply.'
    Thanks

  • Can no longer logon to EM DBA-Studio 8.1.7. with user SYSTEM

    Hello
my 8.1.7 Enterprise Edition Database shows some "strange bahavior". I can no longer logon to Enterprise Manager Console with user system. (Message: This Application needs more privileges...) But the user system still has the same system privileges as before when it worked fine. So what could have gone wrong?
The logon with user sys as sysdba still works.
I can still logon with any user in SQL Worksheet and SQL Plus for instance.
I have checked for any data loss......but all data still seems to be available. I checked for it with desc and select commands.
BUT.....I can no longer post a "select * from cat"
(Message: Table or view does not exist !)
The database is in archivelog mode in case a recovery is necessary.
Before the "crash" a normal user schema dump was exported without any problem. But that shouldn't have triggered off the problem!?
Any help would be greatly appreciated!
Thank you very much for any hint.
    Stefan
PS: My user SYSTEM already has the DBA and the SELECT_CATALOG_ROLE but still is no longer able to logon in DBA-Studio!
I assume it is a more serious problem since none of my users can still perform a "select * from cat" which should always be possible!

Stopping the jrew process is what i do anyway, but that doesn't seem to be e very elegant way of working with DBA Studio. What is the reason for this behavior?
Thanks to anyone who can give me a clue

  • How to detect the Acrobat Browser Plug-in version installed on a users system for non-IE browsers?

How to detect the *Acrobat Browser Plug-in version* installed on a users system, on Firefox, Safari, Opera, etc?
Or one script for detecting Plug-in version for major browsers. Need full example code.

Wrote an article on this with code samples (Javascript + HTML) - basically there are differences between IE and other browsers. Chrome natively comes with the Chrome PDF Viewer so I've incorporated that in my detection script.
The script detects the browser type, and the installed acrobat version...

  • User SYSTEM does not exist

    Hi there,
    Using the MDK:
-I have set up my publication items
    -added them to my publication
-used the packaging wizard to setup my application and attach it to the publication
-used the Oracle Mobile administrator to create a user.
-used the Oracle Mobile administrator to assign the user to the application.
On Win32, I download the WIN32 Setup and run it with the user and password.
It sets up the DMAgent, etc, and installs all of the oracle lite stuff into c:\mobileclient
Next, I run MSYNC.EXE with the user's name. It completes successfully. What happens next is very strange:
    C:\Documents and Settings\allen>msql system/moogle@polite:tenchi_pman
    Oracle Lite MSQL Version 10.3.0.1.0
Copyright (c) 1997, 2007, Oracle. All rights reserved.
[POL-5246] user SYSTEM does not exist
    C:\Documents and Settings\allen>
    Has anyone encountered this?
    Thanks,
    Allen
p.s. my environment details are as follows:
    Mobile Repository Configuration

Is there a way for me to create the SYSTEM user in the Oracle Lite database, or is this error a symptom of a different problem?

  • User "system" doesn not have Permission "modify"

Using the Admin console, I am trying to add a new permission to an ACL and I am running
in to an error. The ACL is "weblogic.jndi.lightbridge.rms" and I am trying to add
the "lookup" permission. The error that I encounter is:
User "system" does not have Permission "modify" based on ACL "weblogic.admin.acl".
I have tried given the "system" user the permission (through the Admin console) but
I encounter the same error. I seem to have run into a "chicken or the egg" problem.
How do I give the "system" user the permission?

Try adding this entry to filerealm.properties and rebooting the server
    acl.modify.weblogic.admin.acl=Administrators
and make sure that the "system" user is in the "Administrators" group. It should be by
    default.
Now you should be able to add any ACL's and corresponding privileges that you like.
You could also add your ACL manually to fileRealm.properties--
    acl.lookup.weblogic.jndi.lightbridge.rms=system
    Cheers

Getting this security exception when trying to pull a message from one weblogic

              Thanks,
              Eric.

Why is that? Your suggestion worked but I don't understand why.
When our MDB on machineA did the JNDI lookup to MachineB we set the
credentials to a valid user/password on MachineB.
My speculation: Since the MDB on machineA is already in a transaction
any other JNDI calls use the credentials for the MDB's transactions,
ignoring any other credentials we might try to set explicitly. If my
speculation is correct then that would explain by the passwords for the
user "system" would have to be the same between servers.
Is there a good place to read up on this?
              Thanks

The admin server is also able to start the managed server. The easiest way is
to use a script. The command of starting a managed server is not much different
from the one for the admin server. Just make sure that you reference the admin
server URL (eg. http://localhost:7001). The more production environment way of
managing managed server is to use the notemanger. See the admin guide for more
    infos.
    Which version are you using?

  • Java.lang.SecurityException: Authentication for user system denied in realm weblogic

I am looking for some help to deploy the application in weblogic6.0.
This is what i did during the application deployment.
Create a new directory under config as a new application.
    D:\bea\wlserver6.0\config\test
under test created two other directories applications and logs.
Under the applications directory copied .ear and .war files.
Under the test i copied config.xml, all the *.pem starttest.cmd, fileRealam.properties
files. Modified the config.xml with my application, domain and the server. Modified
the settest.cmd with the new domain and server name.
when i do startup, it is prompting for the password and i entered what ever i mentioned
    during the installation.
    And getting the following error.

The weblogic.Admin command now requires the user and password options. For example:
java weblogic.Admin -username system -password gumby1234
The username "system" is required for most functions (for example: VERSION). If

You're correct. I meant the DOMAIN_SYSTEM_PASSWORD password in my
<domain-name>domain.ksh file. The DOMAIN_SYSTEM_PASSWORD value (if
specified) has to match the system user's password or else the server will
    not start/stop.
I have determined more since my post. A startup class also produces the
same error. I have minimized my environments as follows and still receive
the exception, and a soon as I synchronize the system users' passwords on
the app/web server the problem goes away. Or, I can keep the passwords
different and just not access the app server EJBs until after the web server
finished loading, which also causes the error to go away. I'm just confused
about what I might be doing wrong.
    Steps to produce the error:
    App server:
    - Installed from 6.1.1.0 from scratch and started it up.
    - Changed the system user's password from the admin console, persisting the
    changes.
    - Modified logging settings to see more info in the log files.
    - Disabled instrument stack traces.
    - Stopped/Started the app server
    Web server:
    - Installed from 6.1.1.0 from scratch and started it up.
    - Modified logging settings to see more info in the log files.
    - Disabled instrument stack traces.
    - Added a servlet to the DefaultWebApp_insiteserver application
    - specified name and class
    - the load on startup setting defaulted to zero, which will cause the
    preloading
    - Added 3 jar files to the classpath to support the EJB call
    - Stopped/Started the web server
When the web server loads the servlet loads and tries to locate the EJB on
the app server. The app server throws the security exception. The app/web
servers are both running on the same SUN box, have the same IP address
(different ports) and I'm using non-SSL. Each server is it's own WLS
environment. The only installed file that is shared it the
weblogic_domain_registry.dat file in the root directory. As for security,
I'm doing nothing except changing one password (system user on the app
    server).
I then tried to manually upgrade the app/web servers to 6.1.2.0 by updating
the WEBLOGIC_ROOT in the respective xxxxdomain.ksh files. Same problem.
I then cleanly reinstalled the app/web servers using version 6.1.2.0 and
    configured as above. Same problem.
Let me know if I need to provide additional details.
    Thanks,
    Jed Zimmer

  • Javax.naming.AuthenticationException.  Root exception is java.lang.SecurityException: Authentication for user system denied in realm weblogic

We have started getting the above error message in a system that has worked happily
for the past 6 months or so (and continues to work happily from our disaster recovery
environment). I should probably add that this occurs when we are attempting to
write to the database via the connection pool.
    Anyone have any ideas?
    Thanks

  • Authentication for user system denied in realm weblogic

hi,am using Web Logic 6.1 on hp and all works fine, I've a cron which kicks off
    every morn.
This cron stops the web logic app server (admin server), then starts it. The stopping
is done with a shutdown.sh script. I've noticed all the posts here about "Authentication
for user system denied in realm weblogic" seem to be in code. This is diff as
    it's on shutdown.
My shutdown script does the below:
    #!/bin/sh
    JAVA_HOME=/opt/weblogic6.1/jdk131
    WL_HOME=/opt/weblogic6.1/wlserver6.1
    CLASSPATH=$WL_HOME/lib/weblogic_sp.jar:$WL_HOME/lib/weblogic.jar
    JAVA_RUN="${JAVA_HOME}/bin/java -classpath ${CLASSPATH}"
    WLS_PW=try_abc
    RUNCMD="${JAVA_RUN} weblogic.Admin -url localhost:9100 SHUTDOWN -username system
    -password $WLS_PW"
    echo $RUNCMD
    $RUNCMD
When it's run the below is printed. Any help appreciated on this!!
    /opt/weblogic6.1/jdk131/bin/java -classpath /opt/weblogic6.1/wlserver6.1/lib/weblogic_sp.jar:/opt/weblogic6.1/wlserver6.1/lib/webl

This is the way it should be. You should not be able to call from one server into
another using the system user without having to provide a password.

    Hi Jose
What version of the server are you using . In 6.x this is a known issue
The workaround as you mention is to have the same password for the system
    user.

    Hi all,
I'm having problems when communicating 2 EJBs in different weblogic Serverinstances,

The exception is "Authentication for user system denied in realm weblogic".This
only happens if the user system has different password in each server.
    Any idea?
