Username and/or password incorrect

hi all, im new here this is my first post, i have a nokia 6720 Classic on Telstra (Next G) whenever i trry to log into the Ovi Store on my mobile i receive "Username and/or password incorrect" i have registered and can log into Ovi on the internet with my details no problems whatsoever, can anyone help???

Hi guys -
After I turned on the "protect" feature on my Z10 I immediately also changed my Blackberry ID password on the Blackberry ID website. I had no problem updating this new ID on Blackberry Link. My Z10 device however keeps not accepting my new ID password ("Attempt 5/10 - The username and / or password entered is incorrect. Try again."). I've tried it already five times and the entered password and username ARE correct! I also tried connecting my device to my PC through Link, hoping this would help. I've also rebooted the device.
Any further ideas? I've searched through the forums but didn't find this particular issue...

"Your email account" means to tap on the name of your email account. Whatever it is listed as in the settings.
In my mail settings, one of my email accounts is a Comcast account. I tap on the Comcast name and it brings up this window.
Then I tap on the arrow under the Outgoing mail server smtp setting to get to the next window.
In the resulting window, I then tap on the arrow next to the smtp server under the Primary Server setting.
That brings up this window in which I check to make sure that my user name and password have been entered correctly. If those items are missing, enter them in the appropriate fields and then tap done.

Itouch says that the username and/or password for my email (yahoo) is wrong

so i use my yahoo account on my itouch and today it started saying that the username and/or password were incorrect. However, I know that they are correct. Also my gmail account is working fine.

I'm having the same problem. Gmail account works fine but Yahoo will not verify. I tried the tips in the thread here -- use the name on file with Yahoo!, don't his "return" when entering information -- and it still won't work. I keep rechecking my login information and it is correct. Anyone else have a solution for this?

Contact the University's IT dept, they may be able to set something up on the network to allow the ATV to connect without the need for a user name/password.

The username is the name attached to your Home folder - /Users/username/. If you don't know the password then it can be changed but you will need the installer DVD that came with the computer for the installed version of OS X. You have not provided that information.

Apply patch to 11gR2 through OEM - ERROR: Invalid username and/or password

I am trying to apply a patch to an 11gR2 database (11.2.0.1.0) running on AIX 6.1. Using Oracle Enterprise Manager, I click on 'Software & Support' on Database tab, click on 'Patch Advisor' and click on 'Stage Patch' link. I use 'Search by number', locate the patch, click Next etc etc - select target, enter Oracle Home credentials etc. Finally I submit the patch job, and, after a minute or so I am getting 'Step: prereqCheckOnHome Initialization Error'. When looking at details of the step, I can see only:
Error Log
ERROR: Invalid username and/or password
I am at fault to understand which username/password is being referred to. I have checked Oracle Home credentials by running an OS command job with these credentials - job completed fine.
Obviously, patches can be applied the 'old' way - using OPatch from command line and then runing necessary SQL scripts, but I wanted to try new 'civilized' approach.
Anyone had this issue and know how to tackle it?

Thank you for advice. I made checks for nmo/nmb binaries permissions and made sure filesystems are mounted without nosuid option. Also, I re-entered preferred credentials (and tested them, wheneve rpossible). Enabled authentification tracing as per document, got following in emagent.trc when performing patch procedure:

Host Credentials ERROR Invalid username and or password Oracle 11g

Hi,
This error has been bugging me for sometime now and I can't find a straight forward answer anywhere, can you help?
Oracle 11g on Windows XP SP2 Intel box.
I am trying to export data and when I'm asked for the Host Credentials I get the error
" ERROR Invalid username and or password "
I have tried the following syntax for Username:
<domain name>\Administrator
<domain name.local>\Administrator
<domain name>/Administrator
<Local host name>\<domain name>\Administrator
I have gone through making sure that the local security policy settings are correct.
I have added domain and local Administrator to the ora_dba Group.
All services relating to Oracle are running.
I can connect via SQL Plus with no issues.
I can connect to EM locally and from my client pc with no issues.
Any ideas, please, can anyone help me?
I'll gladly furnish you with any info I can to get past this seemingly simple step!

Trying to understand your reply, here is what I did:
Created new Windows user called OraAdmin.
OraAdmin is now member of administrators group and Ora_dba group.
Logged onto EM at server and used System user logon.
Data Movement
Export to Export Files
Tables
Host Credentials
Tried
OraAdmin - failed
oracle-11g\OraAdmin - failed
oracle-11g/OraAdmin - failed
Don't know what else to do......

I just installed Oracle_10g on XP.
The installation was successful except I get the following error message:
Your username and/or password are invalid
I can log in using sqlPlus, its the EM that is the problem.
Could it be a conflict with another java version?

It was confusion with all the different passwords and the "Connect As" pull-down in EM.
As a matter of fact, now that I'm past that, I get tripped on a licensing information page.
I don't really like EM, but I can work around it for now.

Enter "FOOBAR" for password & it will succeed!

I had installed Oracle 10g but after it is installed, I am unable to use system/oracle to login to Enterprise Manager.
Login to Database : ORACLASS
User Name : system
Password : oracle
Connect as : SYSDBA
It says "Your username and/or password are invalid."
Can someone assist to advise me on where might have gone wrong.

You can connect by means of the CLI because you are authenticated by the OS as a privileged user who belongs to the oracle dba group, so even if you changed the password to whatever, as long as you get connected to the sysdba role you will be allowed to sign in to the database. Just try it, change the password to any other string and you will successfully get connected.
Now, once you have tried this test, you may find you have typed the wrong password for system when you try to use it to connect by means of the EM. I suggest you to reset the password for the user and ensure the user you try to use to connect with the EM has the SYSDBA privilege granted, or use the SYS user connected as SYSDBA.

I am unable to e-mail photos, receive a statement saying that the werever does not recognize my username and or password. I have checked multiple times and these are correct.

The box comes up that says "server does not recognize username or password".
That error message usually will pop up, when there is a conflict between the "From" setting for the mail account you are sending from and the selected outgoing mail server. Probably the outgoing Mail server is receiving a user name and password it does not understand. When the mail returns unsent, do you see the "Try again" panel with the option to select a different outgoing mail server?
If you do not see this panel, change the Mail "Preferences > General" to "If Outgoing server is unavailable: Show a list of alternate servers". This way, you will know, which server Mail is trying to send from.
Have you tried to set "From" pop-up menu to one of your other email addresses? If that works, change your settings in Mail to always send from this address. You can set this option in the Mail "Preferences > Composing: Send New Messages from". I have my "Send New Messages from" set to "iCloud". That is working best for me with iPhoto.

I used to be able to check my AOL email through the mail app on my ipod touch. Recently it has been telling me that my username and/or password for my AOL email is wrong. I checked my username and password by logging in to my email on my computer. I tried deleteing and readding the account. Restoring then readding. I am able to use my gmail accounts on my ipod touch.

Is your AOL account an AOL Kids account? I have seen problems with AOL Kids accounts before in Apple Discussions. Try a forum search and see if anything useful comes up.
