Usernames and Passwords are not Saved
I made sure that the security option for remembering saved passwords was checked; but the new version of Firefox is NOT saving them; I must enter them each time I visit any site that requires a username or password. There was no problem with version 3 in this regard.

FTP login and password are not saved on some sites
On some of my sites the FTP login and password are not saved
(even though the "saved" box is checked). Dreamweaver 8.0 on XP
SP2. I can export the site information and then import the same
file exported and there still will be no login or password placed
in the login or password window. I opened the exported .ste files
in notepad and found the login correct and the password incorrect.
I uninstalled Dreamveaver and reinstalled still same
problem.Ok, I just spent about 3 hours on this. Here's the latest
that I've found. I had looked at the knowledgebase and my registry
matched what was suggested. As this has been an ongoing issue for
me, I thought it was still an issue. Apparently 8.02 did have some
improvements.
I can only guess that many of the 36 sites I have in the Site
Manager lost info before the .02 update.. or I hope so.
I did however discover that there is still what could be
considered a minor bug. I went in to Manage Sites and selected edit
for all of my sites, fixing the ones that had lost their user/pass
info. I'm not positive, but I think only the last edited site kept
it's data.
I discovered after many checks on all the sites, over and
over and over, that it appears that they are now holding the data,
but, if I add the user/pass, I must not only click the OK button to
close that particular site, but I must also click the 'Done' button
before only that one will be saved.
So, I thought I was fixing logins when in fact I was only
fixing one at a time.. Completely closing 'Manage Site' seemed to
hold one new set of login data each time. Seems that it shouldn't
be this way.
But I must say, I am rejoicing at the moment, as I actually
have all my sites set up with FTP info and I am now looking forward
to hopefully adding more and maybe they'll actually be available
for the next editing session. -
MMy wife had bought an iPad from a friend. My wife already has an iPhone, which is registered to iCloud. She cannot acces iCloud from the new iPad. It says her username and password is not authorised. What do we need to do.
This could be a couple different things.
The device is not authorized to the Apple ID.
Continue setup for the ID on the device.

Is she able to get signed in at

and manage the account
Can she get signed in at

Safari will not clear my username and passwords it has saved
I am trying to get Safari to clear saved usernames and passwords from the saved list and it refuses to do so. I've done everything from go into settings and click edit on the usernames and passwords and click remove and even remove all and nothing happens. I've also clicked on file and reset safari and my usernames and passwords still aren't deleted. Whatever happens, I do not want to lose my bookmarks though; those are very important to me.

In Safari Preferences - Autofill
Make sure: user names and passwords is deselected.
Open Keychain Access (Applications/Utilities) Select Passwords on the left.
Delete all the keychains for the sites you don't want user names and passwords saved for.
Relaunch Safari.

Gmail has two account types, SMTP and Google IMAP.
In both cases failure in trying to log on to SMTP and Google IMAP because I have to verify that the username and password are correct.

Go to ''tools->options'' and under the ''Security'' tab click on ''Saved passwords''. This will give you a list of sites that you have saved a password for. Just find your site and delete that entry.
There is a lot of useful information in this article about the [https://support.mozilla.com/en-US/kb/make-firefox-remember-usernames-and-passwords?s=password+manager&r=1&as=s Firefox Password Manager]. It should answer any other questions you might have.
You can also remove the cookies from that site to make the site forget you if you've created a remember me cookie.

Mail says my gmail usernames and passwords are wrong but they're not
I'm trying to set up my gmail account on my laptop and iPhone but everytime I try I get an error message that reads "Logging in to the Gmail IMAP server “imap.gmail.com” failed. Make sure the user name and password you entered are correct, then click Continue. If the information isn’t correct, you cannot receive messages." I get this message on both devices but when I log onto gmail from a web browser using the same info everything works perfectly. The username and password are correct but mail say they're wrong. Any ideas?

I searched on all parts of the errors I got.

You say its a multiserver farm, do you have more than one web server then?
If thats the case, have you tried accessing the site on each server directly?

Username and password do not get applied to WS Invocations in PS3 project
I am running into a situation where username and password do not get applied to WS Invocations in PS3 project I am deploying using config plan, this is used to work correctly in PS2. Did the syntax for the deployment configuration plans for PS3 BPM have changed?
This is the error that I am getting from the BPM soa_server.log file:

I enabled ws logging for incoming and outgoing P6 web service requests, I see that the BPM server is not making an outgoing webservice call, looking more into the log file from soa_server.log I see that the exception is a PolicyEnforcementException confirming my suspicion that the username and password from the deployment config plan are not getting applied at runtime. This is used to work correctly in PS2. Any suggestions?

In the directory where you launched the jar file, you should find a directory named "crx-quickstart". Simply rename this directory to "crx-quickstart.old" and restart the jar file. Can't get face time to work. Know the username and password are right. Asks me to sign in...verifying... And then goes back to sign in...
One thing that worked for me:
launched Message app which uses the same backend as Facetime. If it launches, click on the video. May display a Error Dialog. Call AppleCare and give them the number displayed. This will give them the needed info to check your AppleID account for the messaging servers
For some reason FaceTime did not display this error, yet once I gave the Support person the number it was fixed in just a minute.
