Using Beans First time...

I'm relatively new to JSP. This is basically the error I recieve using latest Tomcat...
: cannot resolve symbol
symbol : class Wallet
location: class org.apache.jsp.Wallet_jsp
Wallet foo = null;
Wallet.class is in
myApp/WEB-INF/classes/Wallet.class
This is the first line of code in Wallet.jsp
<jsp:useBean id="foo" scope="page" class="Wallet" />I also tried creating the web.xml file and mapped Wallet like I would a servlet. Is there special tags in the Web.xml for Beans ?

Time Machine has to erase the external disk in order to make backups. Before setting Time Machine up, copy the files of your external disk to the hard disk of the Mac in order not to lose them, and then, set up Time Machine. The first backup will start automatically.

Query Region: vo.executeQuery is not using criteria first time.

I have a simple QueryRegion with an AdvancedTable. Its construction mode is autoCustomizatioCriteria.
Also, there is a 'Refresh' button on the page to redirect to same page with a parameter 'refreshStatus' set.
This button is handled in the processFormRequest as follows

In the processRequest, the 'refreshStatus' parameter is checked and if it is true, an AM method is invoked which calls a VO method, which ultimately invokes super.executeQuery() which is expected to use previous search criteria.
Issue*
I navigate to this page, enter criteria and click 'Go'.
Expected results are displayed.
Then I click the Refresh button. The table refreshes without considering the criteria. All results from database table are displayed.
The criteria entered is still seen in the search fields as the AM is retained during redirect.
Now I click on 'Go' again keeping the same criteria.
Expected Results are displayed.
Then I click the Refresh button. Now the table refreshes with the criteria in action.
I am not getting the expected Refresh behavior for the first time only. The flow is same both times for Refresh button. Any idea why executeQuery() is not seeing WHERE conditions on the VO for the first time?

Please post the complete codes .

I will suggest try using sop() and check whether VO method for executing query is getting called or not and based on what values...
Moreover while posting your code kindly enclose it in between {noformat}{noformat}
for e.g

{noformat}

Student using HDR first time - image very red, ok after update ONCE, then red again

I hate to ask in a room full of pros, but here we go. Using WIN7 64 bit
Purchased CS6 and takiing first class. CS6 ver 13.0.1 64 bit.
We are learning about HDR. We have been provided 3 dng images of a model (a young lady) to work with.
I have done the same thing four times and the opening image is darker with a lot of red.
File_Automate_Merge to HDR Pro
I select the tree images (they all look nice)
Make sure the "Attempt to Automatically Align Source Images box is checked"
Click OK
PS makes layers, one being a merge to HDR pro layer

I just installed the update (I was using 13.0 64 bit) just before posting this and was going through the motions as I typed in here and...... the image opened perfectly and I was able to do the lesson. However, I tried to do it a second time, just to make sure...it is very red again. Any help please?

Your video cards display is usually 16, 24 or 32 bits total. The settings used in photoshop are for each channel.
There are 3 channels for the monitor Red, Green and Blue. Each having 8 bits or 8+8+8= 24 bits or 16777216 colors as there are 256 color per channel and 256 3rd power is 16,777,216.
So a 32 bit video card would be 256 to the 4th power.
Now back to photoshop, 16 bits per channel is 512 colors per channel or 512 to the 3rd power or 134,217,728 colors
Therefore 32 bits per channel would have 1024 colors per channel or a total of 1,073,741,824.
Keep in mind for this example I only used the RGB channels, photoshop is capable of creating multiple channels, granted these extra channels are primarily used for tansparency, masks, and selections. But in theory one day these extra channels could be used to display extra color information on the screen along with the main RGB channels.
To prove this, just switch to CMYK, that mode is displaying 4 channels instead of 3 on the screen. So who's to say that one day someone will create a new color mode that all monitors will adopt as a standard? Photoshop is ready and waiting, most of the coding is already done.
Anyway I am getting off subject a bit, so I better stop...

Problem while using for first time the Repository in Des 6.0

After creating the Repository, with a new project, trying to use the process diagramer and defining the root process this message appears:

Using transport first time. What is PCR?

I have created a Generic extractor in R/3 and extracted data to BW.
Request were assigned to the objects i have created in R/3 and BW.
Now I was to add all my transport to a PCR.
What do they mean by that and what is the step by step process?

What is the full form for PCR?

A reset may help. Tap and hold the Home button and the On/Off buttons for approximately 10-15 seconds, until the Apple logo reappears. When the logo appears, release both buttons.
No content is affected by this procedure.

First time using a BAPI SUSR_USER_ADDRESS_READ

The interface sapscript <-> external perform is clearly defined an described in sap online help. The "perform" fills the field out_tab-key with the name of the changing parameter.
So you have to add the following lines in your form sachbeabeiter:
read table out_tab with key 'LV_VORNAME'.
out_tab-value = zadress-name_first.
modify out_tab.
read table out_tab with key 'LV_NACHNAME'.
out_tab-value = zadress-name_last.
modify out_tab.
read table out_tab with key 'LV_DURCHWAHL'.
out_tab-value = zadress-TEL_EXTENS.

Emac- OS 10.3.9--- in the owner's manual it DOES state my emac can burn DVDs. Is this correct?
I am using FujiFilm DVD-R . Never used the DVD apps or burner before. I PRAM'ed 3 times. Also did 6 CD audio burns to check the drive. Is it the media-- Fuji does not work? I used Office Depot generic for audio CD-Rs.
I keep getting this error message after about 20 minutes of programming the DVD-- then it ejects with this message:
"The recording device reported the media error: Power calibration area error. (0x73, 0x03.)"
When using the IDVD application to burn my slideshow onto a DVD; Then I contacted Apple Care and I was told to use Disk Utility to burn my DVD in lieu of IDVD not working.
I converted my slideshow into a .dmg format; all was verified successfully. Then I receive this error message when attempting to BURN DVD:
"STOP The device drained its buffer without burn under run protection"
I made a WONDERFUl slideshow-- of only 17 slides-- confirmed I have plenty of room on hard drive and et al on the "disk information". I have attempted since May 7th to get this DVD to burn my slideshow. PLEASE HELP ME!!! I have deadlines-- now it is for Tuesday May 15th. Please alert me to an alternative until I can get my Emac working properly on what I can do to make copies of my slideshow ASAP. Thank you.

Your drive is actually TWO devices - one set of optics and laser burns/reads CDs, another set of optics/laser reads/wtites DVDs. The fact that your drive can burn CDs doesn't mean it is working for DVDs.

You might want to get back to Applecare and expalin again the error messages you are seeing. They really don't involve iDVD.

You either have a media problem or you have a DVD burner problem.

Well I had to make the copies for my presentation-- so the cheapest I could find in my area was Walgreens-- 39.99 for ONE COPY of a DVD! So I paid $70.00 and the clerk made 4 copies for me;-) So thanks Walgreens!
Now-- my Mac-- I could not find anything on shelves at Walgreens or Office Depot but the FujiFilm I already have... So I now have time to look elsewhere.
I did PRAM my Emac 3 times-- I tried these things also:
1)Saved the IDVD- .dmg format to QuickTime .mov
I uploaded to google video.com or whatever-- they use their own software-- .gvp file and player. All was successful (even now on YouTube-
2) I then made another version in PowerPoint and saved it as an MPEG
Also for below-- I lowered the burn rate upon the 2nd try to 1x-- took one hour or more (I went to get a root canal... then exfoliate... then I came back;-)
Also tried different .mov from the web-- a great whale shark video that was only 49mb. My presentation is 120 mb. So I was just thinking-- make it smaller; burn slower.
3)I did try to burn from IDVD, Disk Utility and then the drag and burn/click method on the desktop-- put a blank DVD in-- drag the .mov icon to the blank DVD -- write a title for the blank DVD- formats it / Drag to trash-- Burn icon comes up/ Clicked it-- waited 20 minutes and received:
"Error: Error occurred while burning the disc. This disc can not be used."
So I put in another blank Fuji DVD-- just in case. Same error message-- so I am hoping it is the DVD itself and not the SuperDrive.
4)Also-- I tried to do audio CD burn-- just to make sure about the drive-- all was successful and I did a back up of my Itunes files-- 6 CDs they burned (they meaning "the Gods of Mac OS" ;-0 My audio CDs are Office Depot CD-R 52X700mb/ So the generic is better for CDs on my Emac that I know;-)
So I will use my weekend to try other DVDs-- and I have the safety net of Apple Care-- but then just realized-- my Extended Care plan is OVER at May 30, 2007!!! I called to ask to EXTEND it further-- I'll pay whatever-- NOPE-- 3 years was max on this contract. So any repairs I have to pay for after May 30th-- ISN'T THAT JUST THE WAY THE WORLD GOES? The DAY after your warranty on AnYTHING-- the thing goes kablooey?
But I still have days left--- and I know of a good Mac Repair person in area-- but it is just so darn difficult to move my desktop Emac (I got the GLASS monitor to save $300 or something) Weight Lifting is what it is-- weighs about 45lbs or more.
But it seems it may be the media I am using if the CD burner is working, right?

First Time Log in by BPEL Console

I have installed BPEL Process Manager 10.1.3.1 and also I have jDeveloper studio 10.1.3.
I start BPEL PM Server and then Open BPEL Console but I can not log in with default user name, i.e "oc4jadmin" or "bpeladmin". Which user name and password should I use for first time log in?

Application takes lot of time for first time..

we made an application on a 3rd party software for use on a tool which connects to SAP with RFC.
the applicaiton updates ORACLE databse after getting relevant information from SAP.
Now,for information on SAP side we have RFC.
for updates on oracle we write SQL.
the unique problem is..this applicaiton takes lot of time when used the first time..
once the first use is over it takes much lesser time for any subsequent use(by any user)..
I DOUBT THE SQLS(ESP UPDATE) TAKE MUCH TIME THE FIRST TIME.

Why don't you trace the call and be sure? Don't guess.
once the first use is over it takes much lesser time for any subsequent use(by any user)..
Because the statement is in the cursor cache - clear the cache each time and the statement will run long every time. Again, trace the call and determine the issue - most likely you need an index or have an improperly coded SELECT statement.
