Using BFile in a region query

Hi,
I want to allow users to download files through a column BFile used in a region query.
What should I put in the SELECT clause and what should I put in the column attribute?

I tried , but the process runs "before header", thus before the item is being assigned a value by the parent page, so I get an error that the process cannot find the filename (which it suppose to get from item :P2_FILENAME).

Can't i use temp tables in regions?

I'm trying to population 3 years fiscal year data in a single row, one for full time and other one for part time employees. So my output should look like this
Population Fy1_Tot Fy1% Fy2_Tot Fy1% Fy3_Tot Fy3%
FT 500 50.0 700 70.0 9000 90.0
PT 500 50.0 300 30.0 1000 10.0
Each fy1 data represents different month, based on the month I have to populate corresponding Fiscal year and I have take care this.
I could do this using TEMP table and works well in Toad but not in HTML DB? Can’t I use temp tables in regions?

Actually the same query works well, in HTML DB too. it was my fault i placed the query in a wrong region so i was getting error..

I have partitioned an oracle table and created Local Index for the Partitioned table .
Now i want to make sure that the Local index is being used when i perform select query on the Table partition.
How do i confirm that ?

Use of distinct in main query

Hi All,
I am creating a report based on two tables Invoice Header and Invoice Line. These two table have the following fields in relation :
Invoice_Dept|| Invoice_Pfx||Invoice_No
My question is whether I can use distinct in the main query for this. Coz, when I don't I get repeated records as one Invoice header can have multiple line items in the Invoice Line tables.

Hi Omer Farooq,
Firstly you can use Distinct in main query.
Secondly I feel you need to use Groups in the data model rather then using distinct.
If you will create groups then your first that is top group will contain fields related to Invoice Header
and second group will contain Invoice Line fields.

But it always return those items whose "Title" value is "Arup". It is not returned any items whose "Title" is "Ratan".

Hi DH, sorry for not being clear.
It works when I create the connection from that web part that you want to be connected with the Query String Filter Web part. So let's say you created a web part page. Then you could connect a parameterized Excel Workbook to an Excel Web Access Web Part
(or a Performance Point Dashboard etc.) and you insert it into your page and add
a Query String Filter Web Part . Then you can connect them by editing the Query String Filter Web Part but also by editing the Excel Web Access Web Part. And only when I created from the latter it worked
with multiple values for one parameter. If you have any more questions let me know. See you, Ingo

Should your query be a valid SQL query?
I can't think that the query you have would be valid in a SQL plus window.

I am using Access 2013 and I have the following VBA code,

DoCmd.RunSQL (strSQL)
when the SQL statement is run, I got this error.
SELECT * cannot be used in an INSERT INTO query when the source or destination table contains a multivalued field
Any suggestion on how to get around this?

Rather than modelling the many-to-many relationship type by means of a multi-valued field, do so by the conventional means of modelling the relationship type by a table which resolves it into two one-to-many relationship types. You give no indication
of what is being modelled here, so let's assume a generic model where there is a many-to-many relationship type between Masters and Slaves, for which you'd have the following tables:
Masters
....MasterID (PK)
....Master
Slaves
....SlaveID (PK)
....Slave
and to model the relationship type:
SlaveMastership
....SlaveID (FK)
....MasterID (FK)
The primary key of the last is a composite one of the two foreign keys SlaveID and MasterID.
You appear to be trying to insert duplicates of a subset of rows from the same table. With the above structure, to do this you would firstly have to insert rows into the referenced table Masters for all columns bar the key, which, presuming this to be
an autonumber column, would be assigned new values automatically. To map these new rows to the same rows in Slaves as the original subset you would then need to insert rows into SlaveMastership with the same SlaveID values as those in Slaves referenced
by those rows in Slavemastership which referenced the keys of the original subset of rows from Masters, and the MasterID values of the rows inserted in the first insert operation. This would require joins to be made between the original and the new subsets
of rows in two instances of Masters on other columns which constitute a candidate key of Masters, so that the rows from SlaveMastership can be identified.

You would jettison the entire LAST_WEEK subquery. Then replace your failure calculation with
    current_week.failure - lag(current_week.failure) over (order by current_week.year, current_week.week) as failures_compareI suppose you might want to think about renaming the sub-query as well ....

Problem when using About Operator in Contains Query

but ( exactly the same query in the subquery )

I knew the TCode of the query which I had created using tcode SQ01. user is using this query to see the report
Like I created query named 'order_line_details'. This query is basically to see the order & other details. To use this by user one TCode'zncv_ord_item' has been created.
So in the system lots of query are available. So i want to know the Tcode for those query that are using by user.
