Why does the "Move to new window" function that I used to use not work when I right click on the tab anymore?

It used to be when I right clicked on the tab in Firefox that I could use the "Move to new window" option. Now when I go down to that option it looks as though it is going to work, but nothing happens. Ever since I downloaded the new Firefox, when I right-click on a link to open it in a different tab, the tab will open but will not load anything, no matter what link I try.

Ever since I downloaded the new Firefox, when I right-click on a link to open it in a different tab, the tab will open but will not load anything, no matter what link I try. The tab will show the website destination in the navigation bar, but will not automatically load it; I have to press the load button in the navigation bar instead of it instantly loading.

It's not specific sites. I can middle-click on the same link 50 times and it will open it in a new tab 45 times and 5 of those times, it will randomly open it in an entirely new window. I don't know what's causing this.
It happens so randomly that I don't know how to pin-point what it could be.

Got it! Thanx. What I did was go to my account, check that they had my new ID and Password which they did, then hit reset button. All fixed.

In the main bookmarks menu I'm not able to move the links up and down for convenience like I used to. When I right click on a bookmark to do so, nthng comes up

Recently I've lost the ability to use the options available with a right click on a bookmark in the main menu bookmarks. I can't move them around up or down, can't delete any either. The weird thing is in assorted bookmarks I'm having no problems at all.
Do you have any advice to help me, I want to thank you in advance for any help you might be able to give me with this problem. I have installed the latest update sent to me to no avail.

After the release of Firefox 29, several people noticed that after using the Customize feature, most items on the right-click menu for the Bookmarks menu on the menu bar became ''grayed out'' and unusable until you closed and started Firefox back up again. That seems to still be a problem for me in Firefox 36.0.4, so if you used Customize, that could be the explanation.
You still should be able to click and drag bookmarks around the menu even with the broken right-click context menu.
And if it's easier than restarting, the context menu still works in the Bookmarks Sidebar (Ctrl+b to open/close) and Library dialog (Ctrl+Shift+b or "Show All Bookmarks").

I cannot download individual pictures from ebay. When I right click the picture (enlarged) or the small picture I don't get the option to "save picture as". Is this a firefox problem or a yahoo problem?

I always use firefox to browse the internet. When I attempt to save a picture from ebay I have always enlarged the picture, right click, the clicked "save picture as". Now when I right click I don't get that option. All it will let me do is save the entire ebay item file. for example there's a link a friend sent me in my e-mail and I right-click on it, and select "Open in a new tab" it pops open like normal, except it does not load the page, I have to click the box and press enter to even get it to load it. In previous versions I have never had that problem, current version of Mozilla Firefox I am using is version 4, previous was 3.6 hope this helps figure this out.

The choice should appear as two tabs at the top - imap & pop.
Make sure you're choosing 'Other'.

How do I change the order of the choices when you right-click on a link? "Open in a new window" used to be first, but in Firefox 4 "Open in a new tab" is first - which I hate using but click on by mistake. Can I change the order back to what it was?

If it does work in Safe-mode then disable all extensions and then try to find which is causing it by enabling one at a time until the problem reappears.

So I have Firefox open, and I've tried to open tabs by right clicking and choosing "open in new tabs", but it opens in a new window instead. And yes, there are no problems with being able to open new tabs by pressing the ctrl t.

The Ask Toolbar is causing that in the Firefox 3.6.13+ versions. Uninstall that extension.
There are a couple of places to check for the Ask toolbar:
