Using Captivate 4: Link to other project is not working
hi,
I am using Captivate4. I want to give action to the click button to open other project, but it is not working. What should I do, any specific settings, so that it start working.

Ideally, yes. You typically see the best and most predictable result when linking like to like. If you are willing to live with the idiosyncracies of mixing output formats, you are also free to link EXE to SWF or Vice Versa.

Open other Project is not working
Guys, I have a problem with Open other Project ..heres is the situation.
I have 2 .exe file.
1. start
2. main
inside the start, I have this button which execute Open other project which is the Main. whenever I clicked it, a URL appear with main.html in the address bar.

MS Word 2010 to PDF, links to other PDF's not working
I've go a Word .docx in which I've created hyperlinks to existing PDF's. The hyperlinks work within the .docx.
When I save to PDF and attempt the hyperlink I get the following message... "This document is trying to connect to:" and it lists the hyperlink in not exactly how I specified it. Even if I click "Remember this action" and Allow the hyperlink does not work
The hyperlinks in the TOC work... and links to emails or websites work... just not the ones to the PDF's

MikeAdobe Reader 10.1.2 cannot convert DOC files to PDFs. You will need Adobe Acrobat to do this.
Save As > Adobe PDF feature is using Microsoft's PDF converter. You may need to follow up with them regarding the same. -

Are you trying to open a portfolio or a pdf with attachments on Adobe Reader on Android or a pdf file with links(in form of text) to other pdfs? Would it be possible for you to share the pdf with us at [email protected] so that we may investigate?

Linking to other pages is not working
I have a slice that I want to link to another page. I selected the slice and in the drop down that displays in the property inspector for the Link field, I select the page I want it to go to. However, when I test the page, it does not work, and in Safari, I get this message:
No file exists at the address “/Users/MediaFred/Library/Application Support/Adobe/Fireworks CS5/FWTemp/4193627/page2.htm”.
What is wrong with this?Did you try previewing all the pages in browsers?
Click on File>Preview in Browser>Preview all pages in your_browser_name.exe. -
Link to other project - CAPS error
Using Captivate 3 and publishing as htm/swf files
I have created a menu - each button links to another Captivate project (that is a .cp file)
One of the 5 buttons was linked to Create_send_email.cp.
To publish in our LMS I renamed the file create_send_email.cp. (It prefers all lower case)
Captivate won't allow me to change the link.
Every time I delete the Create_send_email Project, and browse to select the create_send_email.cp project it simple reinstates the upper case C.
Btw I havbe browsed the KBase and the forums... and I gether there is an issue with linking to other projects. Also read about the cache in Captivate 5 but perhaps not relevant here??
ThanksThis error appears have to sorted itself after I republished everything - perhaps the upper case C displayed in the Button properties was removed by the publish process.

Careless? Possible, but unlikely. Most likely the phone was stolen from the first owner. It would be a VERY careless iPhone owner who did not erase their personal information from a phone before selling it, and to do that it is necessary to disable Activation Lock. Command Link in ADF table is not working/ PPR event not getting fired

I am having ADF Table, in that one column is with command link if click on command link, it is not navigating to corresponding page or method of a bean. If i give same command link out of the table it working fine, this issue i am facing is in IE9.
if i use IE in compatibility mode the links works fine, even in IE8 version also.
Browser: IE 9
Jdev version: 11.1.1.5.0
I tried all possible things, but nothing workout for me.

Resetting User Password in Lion, Mountain Lion & Mavericks
Boot into your Recovery Partition by hold down the Command and R keys whilst booting.
When the Recovery screen appears, go to the Utilities menu and open Terminal.
In Terminal, type:
resetpassword
...a small app will open and allow you to choose the user for whom you want to change the password. If you are the admin, be certain that you choose your admin user. Type in your new password twice and give yourself a good hint. Click OK (or Done or whatever) and reboot, enjoying the use of your new, hopefully memorable, password.

JSF : Dynamic link generated by commandLink does not work
In the following code, without <f:verbatim>, it is giving "Duplicate ID in the view" Exception. But with <f:verbatim>, the links generated by commandLink does not work. Please help me to solve this problem.

As newer iPhones and iOS versions are made, apps start to drop support for the older versions of the iOS. It looks like you have fallen victim to this. I commend you for sticking with the original iPhone until now, but it looks like it's time for an upgrade if you want to use apps that have dropped support.

This is essentially paulbruster's answer, but I've added the steps some might assume, but which aren't so obvious to those of us who are new at this, like me.
This solution might ''appear'' to be long and complicated, but after you follow the directions once, you'll find it's quick, clean, and simple. Almost like they designed it this way.
# If you haven't already, open a bunch of tabs on a few different subjects.
# Click the List All Tabs button on the right side of the tab strip.
# Select Tab Groups.
# Create a few groups as described [http://support.mozilla.com/en-US/kb/what-are-tab-groups#w_how-do-i-create-a-tab-group here] , i.e. just drag them out of the main thumbnail group into the new groups they create.
