Using content from PSE's "Content Panel" in Photoshop CS5

I own a copy of both Photoshop CS5 and Photoshop Elements. Overall I use PS for everything though I am not a graphic designer and some of the content in PSE is very handy. Mainly the content in the "Content Panel" (see screenshot below) My question is this, is there a way to access that content from within Photoshop CS5. I looked through the Program Files and could not find any of the content. I could go through and save each individual file as a separate PSD and use Bridge to browse those files. Is there a specific file I am missing?
Note: I only looking for the Background, Frames, and Graphics. The rest I can replicate in PS.

Look in the Program Data files, something like:
(on windows the Program Data files are hidden files so you'll have to enable Show Hidden, files, folders or drives in the folder options)
C:\ProgramData\Adobe\Photoshop Elements\10.0\Photo Creations
Substitute the 10.0 above for your version of elements.

First, how and why are you using Camera Raw 7.0 with CS5?
ACR 7.x requires CS6 to run.
Even if that's a typo in your post and you are running CS6 instead of CS5, no one should be running ACR 7.0, but ACR 8.4 —or at the very least 7.4.
Once any given camera model is supported by a version of ACR, it will continue to be supported in all subsequent versions of ACR. Each update to ACR has unannounced, unheralded bug fixes and improvements. Running 7.0 at this point is sheer madness.
Please clarify.
If you give complete and detailed information about your setup and the issue at hand, such as your platform (Mac or Win), exact versions of your OS, of Photoshop and of Bridge, machine specs, what troubleshooting steps you have taken so far, what error message(s) you receive, if having issues opening raw files also the exact camera make and model that generated them, etc., someone may be able to help you.

Hi,
Firstly an external content type designed to work with SharePoint list and there is no way to read apart from this.
If you are looking the solution out of the " Business Connectivity" then find that data source has been exposed through WCF and Web Service ?
So you can use REST API and CSOM to consume those data in SharePoint.
You can also leverage the ADO.NET option if the datasources based on MS technologies.

Having issues opening raw files from Canon 5D Mark iii in Photoshop CS5

I cannot open RAW files from a Canon 5D Mark III in Photoshop CS5. I get an error saying "
Could not complete your request because the file appears to be from a camera model which is not supported by the installed version of Camera Raw.
Please visit the Camera Raw help documentation for additional information."
Documentation seems to be no help.
Any ideas?

You can download the updates manually and try to install them Adobe - Photoshop : For Macintosh

Blank panel in Photoshop CS5

When I load the panel, it comes blank,

There are some items you may check to figure out the problem.
* Run configurator as Administrator. (on windows, right click, and select "Run as administrator").
* On 64bit machine export to folder
"c:\Program Files (x86)\Adobe\Adobe Photoshop CS5\Plug-ins\Panels\" for 32bit photoshop.
"c:\Program Files\Adobe\Adobe Photoshop CS5 (64 Bit)\Plug-ins\Panels\" for 64bit photoshop.\
* Only Configurator 2.0 works with CS5, and it can open Configurator 1.0 project files.
After export please use file explorer check these folder. if export panel success, you should see a folder with same name as your panel such as "untitled-1".
If still not work, I attached a working panel here.
It's not a gif file, actually it's a zip package. So please download it, and rename to "Knowledge.zip", and extract it to folder "Knowledge", then move this folder into your "Panels" folder, see if this can work.

Cannot download the extension Tych Panel to Photoshop CS5. Adobe Extension manager tells me I'm not authorized to do this.

Very long headline... My problem is I cannot reinstall the extension Tych Panel to my CS5-suite. I've had it installed earlier, but had to reinstall everything on my PC because of a problem, and now I'm told by Adobe Extension Manager that I'm not authorized to install the extension and should contact my system administrator. I have Windows 8. Can anyone help me?

If you don't see the cs5 extension manager listed on the start screen, you can go to
C:\Program Files (x86)\Adobe\Adobe Extension Manager CS5 (64 bit version of windows 8)
C:\Program Files\Adobe\Adobe Extension Manager CS5 (32 bit version of windows 8)
then right click on the
Adobe Extension Manager CS5.exe

Cannot check Allow Third-Party Content from Global Storage Settings panel.

I cannot check the box that says Allow Third-Party Content To Store Data On Your Computer in the Global Storage Settings panel. I have seen many other people with this issues but they have either been unresolved or the resolutions to the problems do not work for me.

Can somebody please help me resolve this issue?

When you open Windows Explorer, type %appdata% into the address bar, and it will take you to the location.
On Windows XP this is usually C:\Documents and Settings\[username]\Application Data
From there go down to the 'Adobe' and 'Macromedia' folders and delete the 'Flash Player' folder in each.

Pasting from illustrator to the center of Photoshop CS5.5

Hi, I have an illustrator file (various circles and half circles) built with various layers, I would like to copy and past these layers into photoshop and change them to a shape layer, but when copying each layer and pasting the vector falls in slightly different place to the illustrator file, how can I keep the postion the same as the illustrator?

Scripting might have provided a solution – but writing the Script might have taken more time than doing it like this.
So unless the task is a very frequent one for you it’s probably not worth the trouble.

Is TRex required to display content from Content Server in the Portal?

Hi all gurus!
A short question: do you have to have TRex (or any other search/index engine) when you want to display content from a SAP Content Server in the portal? Or does the content server has its own search/index engine?

Hi,
Sap content server can be added in the portal as an KM repository. So configuration is needed. But when finished you can open and look at the content server like they are normal KM folders. TREX on the other hand is advisable in order to have the means to quickly find something in your content server. Otherwise it is like any other stupid file structure. lots of files and lots of folders.
Depending on you portal version you need to install a bussiness pack for document managment to get the content server visable in KM

Sensitive Data Breach; FF displays content from a previously loaded plugin when displaying new content from within another pugin

Sensitive Data Breach.
When loading content from a plugin, such a pdf or flash, any content from previously viewed content from a plugin is flash before the new content is displayed.
In our app we show sensitive information and this represents a data breach.
This issue present across or between the same or different plugins. Silverlight - > PDF, PDF -> PDF, etc.

In reviewing the steps to re-create the problem, I'm not sure I understand what's happening.
<br>1. Load some flash content
2. Leave the Tab open or Close the tab
3. Load a pdf within the browser in another tab.
<br>Note: Ensure Options -> Tabs -> "When I open a link in a new tab, switch to it immediately" is selected.
<br>Note: Ensure you clear your cache so plugin content is downloaded.
<br>The longer it takes to download the pdf the longer the sensitive data will be displayed. When the plugin fails content may be displayed indefinitely.
(I view PDFs outside the browser, so I haven't attempted to re-create the above scenario.)
Are you saying that Flash content appears where the PDF is supposed to load, or a previous PDF appears?
I assume this previously viewed data doesn't survive a shut-down and restart of Firefox. Is that correct?

Photoshop itself needs to reside inside of it's Applications folder so that it has access to it's Libraries and plugins. So if you are going to attempt to store and run it from an external drive you need to copy the whole Application folder or install it directly to the external drive. Even still I am not 100% positive it will work as I know it still needs to access your Library/Application Support for additional files and licensing.
Why do you want to run Photoshop from an external drive?

Output Panel is PS CS5 is blank

Just bought a new MAC, transferred contents of old hard drive onto new one, and now the Output Panel in Photoshop CS5 is blank. Downloaded updated Adobe Application Manager, still doesn't work. Can anyone help?

As Ned said, reinstall correctly using the proper installer.
