Good day All
In the Scenario dimension has been created element which include as children the some store elements of the Scenario dimension (Plan, Fact ...).
This element has been assigned as scenario element for Planning Unit Hierarchy.
When we start the workflow process the children of its elements (Plan, Fact ...) still available for edit on work form for all users.
Question. Work form contains several elements of Scenario. As in the workflow process close all of these elements, creating only one Planning Unit Hierarchy and run the process only once (in fact, one Scenario).

The total video bit rate is determined by audio & video. Depending on what rate your video file was encoded at will determine how much room is left for audio. PCM(aiff/wav) audio requires a bigger piece of the pie. Video bit rate too high means your overall(video+audio) rate is going above 9Mbps which the format won't allow. The only way to use aiff would be to lower your video file's data rate. The length of your program is also a factor in all of this.
I had some problems in the past with using aiff instead ac3. Although there shouldn't be any issue I experienced playback issues on some players that couldn't be explained but were cleared up by ac3. I have been using the same specs as Dave's suggestion for almost nine years and have not had any issues with mix, quality, or levels.

May be we can’t using shared members in this case?

And then, it's up to you to create a new constructor or a new setter method.

What do you mean by "attach the workflow process to portlet pages"
if you mean to have approval withing pages this can be done using teh approvals and notifications functionality built in within portal and if you mean attaching external workflows from oracle portal or BPEl, that can also be done.

Cannot see the Workflow process in Application.

We have a strange issue with workflow.
We wanted to customize the INVFLXWF workflow .
We downloaded it from the apps into WorkFlow Builder.Added a process and a function.Saved it back into the database.
Now , when you go into the application --> System Administrator --> Application --> Flexfield --> Accounts --> ctrl F11 -
and you dont se the workflow Generate Cost of Goods Sold Account .
Only if we see it then only we can change the Process Name to the newly created process.
What puzzles us is that the AP Process calls the Generate Cost of Goods Sold Account and generates the COGS account .But we wanted to change it.Without seeign it in the application we cannot change the process.
Can anybody help?

Thanks again a lot for the help. It has really helped. Now I am trying to get a better understanding of how the platform, SCC and the simulator need to be configured.
Let me write down some of my learnings:
If one does not see the workflow then the following points should be checked.
1. Check whether the simulator and the MDS are running properly or not. Like in my case I had installed MDS and 9800 simulator by getting 2 seperate installables. But later I got the BB 6.0 JDE and installed that. Probably this helped me out.
2. If you dont see one of your already developed workflows not in the Simulator then develop a new workflow and try syncing that to the simulator. Hi,
Well, why dont you check the event that gets triggered during the Status change of the user?
This can be done by switching on the EVENT TRACE using SWELS txn and simulate the BUSINESS PROCESS and then check the event trace using SWEL.
After getting the required Business Object and event, Please attach your WF to that EVENT in the BASIC DATA-START EVENTS.

Errors were found when compiling the workflow. The workflow files were saved but cannot be run.

I am having issues with a SharePoint Designer workflow. This is a SharePoint 2013 environment, I'm using SharePoint Designer 2013 and working on a SharePoint 2010 workflow. I'm developing this as a SharePoint 2010 workflow because I need to do
impersonation.
The environment and workflow have been running, in the past week, without issue. I went to add a couple steps and now I cannot publish the workflow. While in SharePoint Designer, I receive the error:
"Errors were found when compiling the workflow. The workflow files were saved but cannot be run." When I click the Advanced button on the error dialog, the message is "Unexpected error on server associating the workflow."
That is all the error information I have available; nothing is in the log files.
I have investigated this error and tried the following:
Cleared the SharePoint Designer cache.
The WebApp.UserDefinedWorkflowMaximumComplexity was at 7000 so I increased it to 10000. Restarted the servers (which may not have been necessary) and tried again receiving the same error. I then increased it to 30000 with the same error result.
Since this is a large workflow, I tried created a workflow with a single action, write to workflow log, with the same error results.
I reboot the servers and try again and now I can publish the small test workflow but not the original. However, neither will run. When I attempt to manually run the small test workflow on an item, I get an error: "Sorry something went wrong.
An unexpected error occurs. I checked the log files for the correlation id and nothing, nothing was logged for the error. ~arg~
Also, now no workflows can be published in this web app. Not just the one I was working on but none of them!
Does anyone have a clue what has happened to the SharePoint 2010 workflow service? Or some suggestions for me to try?

I appreciate it but if you see my original post, this is a SharePoint 2010 workflow that cannot be published; which has now caused all SharePoint 2010 workflows in the same web app to error.
Your first link is specific to SharePoint 2013 workflows.
Your second link refers to the UserDefinedWorkflowMaximumComplexity. If you read my original post, I've already tried this and I've tried to publish a small (single activity) workflow.
Your third link also refers to large workflows with many approval activities. My workflow doesn't contain any approval activities.
And you fourth link refers to 2013 workflows not 2010.
My issue is with publishing and running a SharePoint 2010 workflow in SharePoint 2013.

Cannot see the workflow in the BB simulator sent from the SUP workspace

Hi All,
I am now trying to send a workflow to my blackberry simulator from the SUP mobile workspace by clicking "Send a notification" but I do not see thw workflow in the Simulator's Message->Workflow.
I generated the workflow in the workspace where I selected the right device while generating...
I am able to see the simulator online in SCC and also I see that the workflow is assigned to the device in SCC.
But when I try to send the workflow from the Unwired workspace by right clicking on the window of the workflow and clicking "Send a notification" I dont see the workflow in the simulator inside messages->workflow.

Parallel approval question of the workflow process.

I have the following business process scenario which will be realized by new BPMN. My qusestion is how to do with it on BPMN?
I have one human activity in one step. The condition to pass this step is that all the potential owners of this step should approve, if one rejects this step, then workflow terminates. Is there anyway to reach the solution, i mean the task is sent to the approvers parallelly and i want to get all of their response?

Hi Erick,
a few words of warning though:
If the end condition for the recursion is not modeled correctly and the process runs into an endless recursion you can easily break the system with this! Since the NetWeaver BPM is trying to pick up where it left off, such a situation can not easily recorvered from, even by restarting the server!
Recursive subprocess calls consume quite a bit of resources, so it is not recommended to do this with many nesting levels. Start out with only a few and look in the SAP MMC how the Java memory behaves. But I guess for a (hopefully short) list of approvers this approach should be ok.
Modeling this correctly can be a bit tricky. From my experience you should especially mind two important points:
Make sure you synchronize concurrent executions paths (creates with a parallel split gateway) at the end with a matching join gateway.
Do not put the end condition for the recursion in the correlation condition of the start event of the subflow: this will cause the subflow to never start and hence never return to the calling process. The result will be that the main process never terminates. Use an explicitely modeled exclusive choice gateway for this.

SSL Error while opening the workflow process

While opening any workflow status monitor, we are getting below error. One of the hit says that have SSL setup recently, it need few steps to be performed and a patch to prevent below error.

A) Add the wrapper bin parameter for SSL to the jserv.properties file:

Is it a good idea to use oracle database to process the geometry data?

I am working on a map related project. Here are the stops I need to do.
1. load geometry information from a table with spatial filter and other conditions (where clause)
2. get the points from the geometry column (sdo_geometry)
3. transform the coordinates
4. encoding the coordinates
5. output
We have a third party applicaiton that can do both #2 and #3. However the process is slow. Some quick tests show that all the steps from #1 to #4 can be done within oracle and the speed is faster. My concern is if it is a good approach to use oracle, a database server, to do all the data processing that can be done and normally shoudl be done on a web server.
Any adivce please?
(BTW, we use oracle 10g on windows 2008R2 64bit, and we may upgrate to 11g in about a year.)

Yes all the steps can be done within the database side (Oracle). However I could do the same (extracting the coordinates from the sdo_geometry column, transforming the coordinates and encoding the coordinates) in .net code (web server side) by making use of the new verison of the odp.net. So I have to make a decision now to choose which approach to go, relying on Oracle server to do all the data processing or .net code. I am pretty sure Oracle can process a single request fairly quick, but if tens or even more concurrent requests for the process, I have concerns over the performance or reliability of the database server, especially the server is (a kind of ) beyond of our control (in control of the midware, IS and network team). Somebody said database is just a database and for data storing and retrieving, but may not for processing the data.
Here is more information regarding what we are doing. We use Google Map API to disply parcels. Each time the map is loaded, panned, zoomed, or refreshed (and so on), we need to query the database with spatial filter and some other criteria. The result will be tens or up to handreds of parcels containing hundreds to thousands of coordinates that are extracted from the parcel table that has a sdo_geometry column. We are expecting tens to hundreds of these requests every minute.
Now I am trying to chain every step together and do some tests using both appoachs in order to see which way is more effient and promising. I am guessing there won't be too much difference in terms of the performance for some simple testing unless I run some load testing, or if somebody like you guys can help me out.

The problem is that we need a lot more information on what it is that you want to do in steps 3 - 5.
3. Transform the coordinates.
What sort of transformation? Rotation, Shift, Scale, Coordinate rounding? Transform from UTM to LatLng
4. Encoding the coordinates
What do you mean by this? Write them out as WKT/KML/GML? Google map encoded polylines
5. Output
Again, output to what, where? A new table? A shapefile? A text file? JSONP formatted data
Also, if you can provide a single sdo_geometry object + data and some example SQL it would help as well.
Here is an example where I take a geometry, rotate it (cf 3. Transform), extract vertices (2. get points), encode it (4. Encoding), and then output to screen (5. Output).

If you are asking if a workflow can be started on R/3 while in Excel - may be possible if you can develop some fancy macros that can make RFC calls to an ABAP function module. I won't even attempt to travel that route.
Save the excel sheet as CSV or Tab delimited file and process it using ABAP. You can use the WAPI function module SAP_WAPI_CREATE_EVENT (Rel 4.7)to start the Workflow by raising the relevant event. In earlier releases, see FM SWE_EVENT_CREATE.
Please do keep in mind there could be performance and response time issues for dialog users of the system if you are going to start several workflows using a report program.

There may be a mail-sending step that simply specified that the initiator is the receiver of the e-mail. You have several possibilities for changing this.
If you have an employee object in the workflow container you can enhance the BOR object type (i.e. create a subtype and delegate to this subtype) with a virtual attribute in which you hold the e-mail address, which you find using the aforementioned function module.
Alternatively you can create a method for the main object type of your workflow and make it return the e-mail address.
In any case you then bind your virtual attribute/returned e-mail address to the recipient field (task container element) of the mail-sending step. Some
