Can i use multiple icloud accounts in my find my iphone app? I have multiple accounts that i want to tie to that app.

You can't buy another one.  You have to reuse one of the accounts previously set up on your phone, or create a new one to use on another iOS device (running iOS 5 or higher) or Mac (running OS X 10.7.2 or higher), if you have one.

  • How can I use multiple icloud Accounts with Fotos?

    Hello.
Yesterday, my wife and I started using the new App "Fotos" on OSX and iOS.
What I can't figure out, and where I would like to get some insight and help, is how we should use our icloud Accounts.
    How it is right now:
    - Wife (MacBook and iPhone)
Has her own icloud-Account ([email protected]) for Backup (iOS) and Fotosync, Keychainsync, Bookmarks. 20GB iCloud-Account (18GB free).
    - Husband (MacBook, Mac Mini and iPhone and iPad)
Has his own icloud-Account ([email protected]) for Backup (iOS) and Fotosync, Keychainsync, Bookmarks. 20GB iCloud Account (10 GB free).
    - Husband has about 400 GB of Photos from over 10 Years on Mac Mini
How I want it to be:
    - Husband
upgrades to at least the 500GB Account, to use for all 400GB of Photos and Backup, Keychainsync, Bookmarks.
    - Wife
Has her own Account ([email protected]) for Keychain and Bookmark, but uses [email protected] on MacBook and iPhone for Backup an Fotosync, so that all Photos are stored in a single one family "container". All Photos in one Place without being able to forget to put them there.
I don't see, how I can accomplish that, since only one "real" icloud account seems to be possible in iOS, so that if i put my account in her iPhone I would get the Photo and Backup I want, but she would not be able to sync her own bookmarks an keychain any more.
Any thought on how to resolve this?
    Am I missing something?
    Thanks for your ideas,
    thomas

Yes, you could have multiple iCloud accounts for Mail, Contacts, Calendars, Reminders, Safari, Notes, and Find My iPhone, but only one primary iCloud account for Photo Stream, Documents & Data, and Storage & Backup.

  • Multiple iCloud accounts on iPhone 6?

I am trying to determine if it is possible to have more than one iCloud account on iOS. I have multiple accounts on my MacBook Pro, but haven't been able to figure it out on my iPhone.
What I want to be able to do is have both a personal and work iCloud account on my phone and only the work iCloud on my MBP. I am using the iCloud accounts mainly for reminders and calendars -- I want my work reminders on both devices and my personal reminders only on my phone.
In the meantime, as a workaround, I have shared my work reminders with my personal iCloud, but I would rather have two separate accounts on my iPhone.
    Can anyone offer some insight?

    Hey kayteekay,
    Welcome to Apple Support Communities.
It sounds you want to know if it's possible to set up multiple iCloud accounts on an iPhone 6. It is possible, just take a look at the article linked below which provides a lot of great configuration information.

Can I use multiple icloud email accounts on one device?

  • Display reminders from multiple iCloud accounts on iPhone iOS 8

I have two iCloud accounts, one is my main account I use for everything and the other is a joint iCloud account I use with my partner to keep mail and reminders synched between us and we both sign into it. The second account signed in to on all my devices and I only sync the mail and reminders, enabled through settings.
My OS X Yosemite reminders app shows two separate iCloud accounts with their respective lists under them. The same applies to my iPad with iOS 8. This is not the case with my iPhone however. It will only show reminders from my primary iCloud account. Enabling reminders from the settings page for the secondary account does not make them appear.
    Can anyone help?

  • Using multiple iCloud accounts

My wife and I each have McBook Airs and iPhones.  I have an iCloud account which I use for email and we both use for photo stream and synching Contacts and Calendars.  My wife uses Gmail for her email.  So far, this has worked flawlessly for us.  If either of us takes a picture with their iPhone, the pic photo streams to all four devices.  If either of us make a change in Contacts or Calendars, the change appears on all four devices.
My wife is not all that happy with Gmail, and I've read that Gmail and Mavericks don't play that well together.
    http://tidbits.com/article/14219
My first thought was to have my wife create her own iCloud account and use it just for her email, and continue to use my iCloud account for photo stream and synching Contacts and Calendars.  My question is, can she have two iCloud accounts active?  One account for just mail and the other for photo stream and synching Contacts and Calendars?
In OS X preferences under iCloud, you can select Mail, Contacts, Calendars, etc., but I don't see how you can have two iCloud accounts active at the same time.  It seems that you have to sign out of one account and then sign in to the other.  That also seems to be the case in iOS.  Am I missing something obvious?
    Thanks

You sign your most important account in in System Preferences>iCloud - this is your 'Primary' account.
You can then sign in with additional accounts in System Preferences>Mail, Contacts and Calendars - these are 'secondary accounts'.
In each case you can enable some or all of the data types (except that there is no acccess to PhotoStream with secondary accounts). Secondary accounts' data such as mail, contacts, calendars, will appear alongside the primary account's data, listed under the account's name.
Email in secondary accounts is not 'push', but is checked periodically.

  • Can I have multiple iPhones with unique back ups using one icloud account?

    Hello forum users,
Can I have multiple iPhones with unique back ups using one icloud account?
I would like to back up and restore 4 different iPhones, 1 iPad, a MacBook and 1 MacBook Pro using the same single iCloud account.
If so, how is this done?
    Many thanks

Sharing an iCloud account between two devices can be done without causing issues with iMessage and FaceTime, just go into Settings for each of these functions and designate separate points of contact (i.e. phone number only, or phone number and unique email address).  While that works, you'll then face the problem where a phone call to one iPhone will ring both if on the same Wi-Fi network -- but again, that can be avoided by changing each phone's settings.
Rather than do all that, don't fight it -- use separate IDs for iCloud.  You can still use a common ID for iTunes purchases (the ID for purchases and iCloud do not have to be the same) or you can use Family Sharing to share purchases from a primary Apple account.

  • Is there a reason why the mail badge icon on my iPad doesn't disappear when I open an email on my iPhone using my iCloud account?

Is there a reason why the mail badge icon on my iPad doesn't disappear when I open an email on my iPhone using my iCloud account?

    Hi everyone!
Looking also for an app that allows me to merge email and send them out to each recipient individually. Apparently that's not possible yet. Here's what the guys at RedbitsApps told me about Group Email capabilities:
"The current version of the app relies on the device operating system to send the emails. For this reason, sending individual email instead of a single email to multiple recipients is not possible. Apple doesn't allow apps to send single emails to many recipients easily. We may use a custom sending software in a future version."
    Let's keep looking guys...

  • How do i setup multiple icloud accounts for find my iphone

Have kids i want them to have there own icloud account so they can back up to but i want them to all be on one find my iphone account so i can see all my family from one screen.

To be clear, with iOS6 I DID have this ability.  Separate iCloud accounts, but every one of my devices was also hooked up to my iCloud account for finding purposes.
Not through iCloud you did not - that has never been possible.  When using iCloud (either the find my iPhone app or online in a web browser) you can ONLY track the devices using the same iCloud account as the one you logged in with.  And the new security features in iOS 7 related to iCloud are specifically linked to that iCloud accounts AppleID and password, so allowing sharing would ruin the security model.
You CAN use find my friends to track anyone who is willing to allow you to using their iCloud account name.

Need urgent help! - I accidentally sync my friend's iphone account to my company's iphone. I could not switch back to my own icloud account because of the icloud password i enter was incorrect. My friend does not use this icloud account since age only remember 1 password which i already try but iphone shown that " incorrect password" I checked on icloud ID and try to log in but it shown as " You Apple ID was disable for security reason. To enable your account must reset password" but so bad again, the email address that he used to create icloud ID also lock for security reason. May Apple Supporter please help reset it ASAP? I can verify that I am the iphone's owner, as it belong to company's phone.

Have your company IT department get proof that the company was the
original purchaser of the iPhone and visit a physical Apple store with
proof of original purchase, proof that person is company representative,
and the iPhone - Apple may be able to help. If no physical Apple store,
contact Apple - you will still need the same items of proof.

  • Lost iPhone. New "owner" using my iCloud account.

I lost my iPhone 4 about two weeks ago. It had iOS 5 on it, but Find My iPhone had not been updated on it, so iCloud.com always shows it offline. Three days ago, while using my iPad, I noticed two new pictures in my Photo Stream of some lady I don't know. Obviously the new "owner" of the phone. Now this morning I notice two new Reminders that I did not enter myself.
How can I prevent this person from using my iCloud account if I cannot Remote Lock or Remote Wipe my iPhone?

I agree that it may be a bad idea to keep allowing this stranger access to your stuff. I recommend contacting the police where the phone was stolen. Your cell carrier should be able to determine the exact location of the phone at all times, whether iCloud is being used or not. You should be able to safely change your password to cut off the iCloud access, then contact the police where the phone was stolen. Then the police, with your permission, can obtain the location of the phone from the carrier, and contact law enforcment at that location. The police at either location may be a bit resistant to spending the resources on this, but if you are persistent, it can be done. One of my colleagues here at work went through this with a Blackberry. It took some persistence on his part to get the local police to coax the Sheriff's Department where the stolen Blackberry was located to take action, but eventually the device was recovered and the thief was charged. This also gets the carrier involved so you won't be on the hook for any extra charges.

    FORCE IPAD INTO RECOVERY MODE
    1. Turn off iPad
    2. Turn on computer and launch iTune (make sure you have the latest version of iTune)
    3. Plug USB cable into computer's USB port
    4. Hold Home button down and plug the other end of cable into docking port. Do not release button until you see picture of iTune and plug (very important)
    5. Release Home button.

  • How do I manage multiple iCloud accounts for personal iCloud Drive & personal calling?

Yosemite has the ability now to make and receive phone calls as well as to use an iCloud Drive to share documents across devices (similar to DropBox, but as you will see with one major customization flaw).  These are wonderful featurew, however, unless I am following the directions incorrectly my computer with Yosemite has to have the same iCloud account as is used on my iPhone for iMessage (for calling) and for virtually everything else for iCloud Drive (ie there is no way to set-up a separate iCloud account for iCloud Drive).
Now for iMessage I use a private iCloud account, but for the iPhone itself I actually use an iCloud account shared with my family.  Why?  Because when we use a shared iCloud account we can share a number of things here such as:
Location  on Find iPhone.  This works way better than find my friends and also makes it easy for us to lock a device if it's stolen since all of us know how to do this.
Calendar not critical, but allows us to put some family events here
Notes, Very cool as we can share shopping lists which is very helpful when you show up at the grocery and want to know what to get or to Costco etc
Reminders Also very cool as we can create reminders for each other for when we get home or whatever
Files on iCloud Drive Yes there are some files that it would be nice to share and we can do this (ideally there would be multiple accounts for this)
Now I haven't really used iCloud Drive much but you can easily imagine how some documents I might want to share with the family on iCloud while other's I might not.
Now when you switch your Facetime iCloud account to the same as the iPhone that is one private iCloud account shared with an application on another device that uses the same iCloud account.  That is NO PROBLEM.  However, the minute you activate the ability to call phones it requires that you now have the SAME iCloud account in the main computer.  Now BINGO I have a problem as noted above I want to be able to share certain things with other devices.
Does anyone have a solution or workaround?
Otherwise it seems the only thing to suggest is that Apple consider a feature enhancement that allows you to make cell calls from your computer WITHOUT switching the iCloud account to the main account.  For that matter it would be very useful if they could figure out how to partition the iCloud features so that I can decide which iCloud account does what or like DropBox give permissions for certain things and allow the individual users to decide what they want and don't want.
    Thanks.

    Gail,
No you are not being dense, you are just trying to be helpful.  I may not have explained the problem very well.  Setting up a Family iCloud account works great!  However, if that account name is also used for your iMessage, Facetime, and now cellular calls you have an issue with your calls going to the entire family (or worse the thing just not working), your iMessages if multiple phone numbers are trying to use the same icloud account usually get messed up, and their Facetime accounts might end up showing up as you instead of them.  In fact, I think you can't call your family members in this situation and I'm not sure iMessage works very well either.  So what everyone does is create a personal iCloud account for personal features such as iMessage, FaceTime, etc.
Now in theory I could co-opt the Family iCloud account for my calls, but then no one else would be able to use the call feature, because unless I'm mistaken you can't have multiple phone numbers attached to the call Forward and still have them recognize which calls to forward to which phones.    If they don't care for this feature it might work (I'm experimenting now), but I don't think that's what Apple intended.
It is possible to do a switch, which may be what you are suggesting.  This would involve creating a separate profile on the computer that is used for making phone calls.  I would, however, still need to co-opt the iCloud account for just my number and worse I wouldn't be able to make any calls unless I was in that profile.  One of the great advantages of calling from your computer is that you make the call while you are working on something else which is inevitably your work or your personal stuff which is NOT likely to be in the newly created family profile.
Thanks for the suggestion, but I hope this helps you understand either how little I understand of your suggestion or why it doesn't quite meet my needs.
