Using tempo change function and it's adding space?????

Hi all new member. Right, dragged song to new track, found a loop and copied it to another track then copied and pasted to make 8 bar loop then tried to slow down the tempo of the loop but the slower I get dead space is added in between each copy and paste if you know what I mean, whats goin on here can anybody tell me, cheers in advance.

Don't copy and paste the loop, but extend it (by grabbing it at the upper right corner, when the cursor turns into a circular arrow).

Step by step:
1. On your main vi Front Panel, create your boolean indicator.
2. On the block diagram, right click the new boolean indicator and select Create - Reference.
3. On sub-vi front panel, create boolean indicator (or use one that is already created).
4. On sub-vi front panel, create a reference (Controls Palette - Refnum - Control Refnum).
5. Right click on the newly created Refnum and select Select Vi Server Class - Generic - GObject - Control - Boolean. The refnum label changes to BoolRefnum.
6. On sub-vi block diagram, create Property Node (Functions - Application Control - Property Node). Find the BoolRefnum and move it close to the new Property Node.
7. Wire the BoolRefnum to the reference input of the property node.
8.
Right click on the property node and select Change to All Write.
9. Move mouse to point to Visible inside property node box, left click and select Value.
10. Wire the boolean indicator from step 3 to the Value input of the property node.
11. On sub-vi front panel, right click on icon and select Show Connector.
12. Click on empty connector spot then click on the new BoolRefnum. Save your sub-vi.
13. On main vi block diagram, connect refernece created in step 2 to the new connector terminal of sub-vi.
14. Save and run.

How to use type, packages, functions, and procedures in another schema ?

I have two target schema in one OWB project, such as A and B. In a mapping of A, I would like to use some types, packages, functions, and procedures from B. I have tried the method of synonym as suggested, but I could not find the metadata of these when importing ... The only type of synonym I can import is the synonym for table. Is there a bug for synonym?
If I cannot use synonym for this issue, is there another way to solve the problem?

Now, in some instances you will absolutely need to create the second module as Carsten describes, however it should also be noted that you can reference objects in things like Expressions even if you have not loaded up the metadata. It is only when you need strong binding that it becomes neccessary to import objects. For everything else, as long as the reference will resolve at compile-time then you are good to go.
For example, I have a function in one target schema (S1) and a private synonym to it in another(s2). A mapping in the S2 schema has an expression object that uses the synonym to the function in the expression property for a couple of the output attirbutes. The synonym has not been loaded into metadata - indeed OWB has no knowledge of its existance. But it resolves at compile time so the mapping validates and generates successfully.

Having trouble with using variables in functions and after functions..

I have simplified this, as it represents the core of what’s I obviously don't know how to do.
Problem:
Say I populate that variable by reading in a list if IP addresses from file, finding the line that matches the hostname and place that string into the $IPAddress variable for use later throughout the script.   I did not run into a significant problem
until I decided to convert the routine of looking up the IP address and populating the variable into a function.   As soon as I made it a function, and called that function, the $IPAddress variable only had the data in it until the function completed.
Once the function had done its work, and had placed the data into the variable, I expected that “new” data to be available after the function had completed..in that variable. But it’s like the $IPAddress variable in the main script is a totally
different data then the variable with the same name that’s used within the function.
So I think this demonstrates some of what’s kicking my butt..

Function TestFunction ()
$IPAddress #call to display the contents of the variable at the start of the function.

Using power shell function and SQL Table

I have a table holding file path of over 1 million documents. so like column one is documentID and column two is full file path.
Now, I want to get the file size of each of the documents. I have a function in power shell that gets the size of a file given file path.
My problem, is I do not know how to use that function and the table to get the size of each of the files(documents).

Use of supply function and WDCopyService..

This is current scenario n requirement is:-
1. I have a RFC (model node) that returns 20 transactions on each "Load next" button click.
2. Now using output data of this model node, a context node "Transaction" is populated. A Supply function "SupplyTransaction" is used for this purpose.
3. This "Transaction" node has further subnodes and these are used to fill up several tables in view.
3. What i want to do is, Transaction node elements which were previously added using supply function should be retained. The next new 20 elements should get added to it.
What are the possible ways to do this?

I think for the result that u want to achieve, u shud nt use supply function.
I ll suggest u to use the same logic that u ve written in the supply function to be written immediately after u get data in your output model node.

Use of partner function && and $1 in PO output determination

Hi,
I have setup a message type for sending PO's to vendor by email.
I use medium '5 - external send' in the output message record.
During PO output, the system takes the email address of the PO wich is defaulted from vendor master record.
Now our end users want to send the PO's first to their email address instead of directly to the vendor.
I thougth to achieve this via partner function && or $1 (created by). I thougth the system will take the email address of the userID that created the PO and send the PO to him.
But unfortunately it does not work. When I specify the partner function, system complains that the partner does not exist and no email is generated.
Can somebody help me ?

U have to mention the vendors mail id in vendor master record/ down load in a pdf form 7 send through external mail id.
first check ur print settings it is either 1 print output 2 external send....

My question: Will Counter-strike 1.6 run well?
I really want to know, since this is almost the only game I play.

I don't know for sure but it seems fair to say that CS 1.6 will run. It's a really old game (like 7 years) so the video card, processor, ram and everything should be more than enough. I wouldn't count on CS:Source, Half life 2, day of defeat source or any newer steam game however since they all need dedicated video cards with at least 128mb of ram on them

Changing text within frames without adding space at bottom

Anyone know if there's a method for changing text within frames so that the successive text automatically flows into position without creating blank space at bottom of that current or a subsequent frame?

You can combine the discussions if you want. I actually deleted a sentence beginning the second discussion explaining that it was related to the first. I thought it might impede the discussion.
Let me describe my problem more completely. I'm adjusting a book that was carefully crafted using frames for each page so that the text extended to the bottom of each page (frame). This often splits text within a paragraph between two pages. This was done so that the customer doesn't feel they are purchasing any blank space and for the aesthetic purpose of filling each page with text. The only exception is the beginning of new chapters or sections.
The problem is that I want to change a word here and there in preexisting paragraphs. When I do, space often one-third the page length is generated at the bottom of a page (frame). To fill that space and extend text to the bottom of the page again requires -given my current understanding of options- selecting the paragraph (beginning on one page and completed on the second) that has become interrupted by the blank space and performing a "keep lines together" option. Unfortunately, this usually generates new blank space on a subsequent page, requiring a new "keep lines together"; in a seemingly unending regress of this procedure.
What I require is a method enabling me to add text within a paragraph that will avoid the generation of the blank space by flowing the subsequent text (composing one or more paragraphs and splitting a paragraph between pages if required) to the end of the page; completely filling the page without requiring any use of "keep options" or whatever.

Numbers' Functions and Formulas in Multiple Cells, Tables, and Sheets

Hello,
I'm stuck with specifics that center around usage, and I get the funny feeling I'm overlooking a simple detail or two.
If I may, here goes.
I'm working with a single spreadsheet that has several sheets within it, and each sheet has an identical table. Each table is used to record various data, and I use an additional table in a separate sheet to consolidate some of the information, so that I can track results, at a glimpse, by looking at averages, totals, etc.
Each data table is organized for consolidation by tracking wins, ties, or losses. It is important to know that each data table only records a single win, tie, or loss along with its other applicable data. And on the actual consolidation table I am trying to tally specific data fields by the use of Numbers' functions and formulas, yet I wish to keep these tallied results organized by the determining factor of whether or not they were gathered from a table that recorded a win, a table that recorded a tie, or a table with a loss.
To illustrate, each table contains data fields that record start time, finish time, elapsed time, the day of the week, etc. Let's say I have eight tables, and the first two are winning tables, three more are tables that record a tie, and the last three are losing tables. For example, on my consolidated data table I wish to enter a function and formula capturing which of the eight tables are wins, ties, and losses so that I can, at a glance, see how much time elapsed to obtain the wins, ties, and losses. So then, in this example, for wins I want to determine which of those wins took 20 minutes, or which of them took 15 minutes, etc. So then, out of the two wins, let's say both of them took 20 minutes each. I need the numeral 2 to be counted and recorded on the consolidation table since only two tables match the criteria. And I would do the same for all remaining data fields (e.g., start time, finish time, etc.). Just so long as everything is determined by wins, ties, and losses, and then organized by the respective data fields. Simply put, this example determines a total of two wins that meet the data field requirement of 20 minutes. Out of the eight tables (one table per sheet) any other wins would then be organized according to the specific data in the elapsed time data field on it's data table (e.g., 5 minutes, 15 minutes, etc.).
The exact syntax structure of the functions and formula I'm unsuccessfully using follows below. It only seems to return a result of 1, and I think it is returning this value from the IF Statements. By the way, the Win, Tie, or Loss cell in each data table is cell formatted as a pop-up so I can either select None or 1. But in this example I'm basing this on the time period of 20 minutes, and out of the eight data tables I have two wins which also record the time period as 20 minutes, so I should see 2 and not 1 in the 20 minutes column of the consolidated data table. Also, I tried changing the syntax where I would type "=1" in the IF Statements, but it returned a result of =1, and if I don't include the equals sign and quotation marks the result just shows up as 1.
My Syntax:

Please bear in mind that the COUNTIFS portion of the above syntax structure is something I'm already successfully using to count the totals of other things not mentioned above, and I'm hesitant to delete it since it already works to my satisfaction when I want to, for example, determine the total number of overall wins. So, just for illustration purposes, I might have an overall wins column in my consolidation table that records how many wins there are, regardless of organization by elapsed time, or any other data field. In other words, the COUNTIFS syntax structure already works to my satisfaction. I'm not sure if it's possible to alter it so that it isn't so long, but what's there does work just when counting total numbers, as just mentioned.
In summary, I'm wondering which function I can use with the COUNTIFS function to determine which of my eight data tables are winning tables, but break those wins down further based on criteria like elapsed time, and in the above example the time elapsed is 20 minutes. As you may see above, I'm unsuccessfully using the IF function. Finally, I've looked at the function browser descriptions of things like LOOKUP, HLOOKUP, VLOOKUP, INTERSECT.RANGES, and a few others. And so far I haven't made good use of any of them the way I've done when I use the COUNTIFS function by itself when only counting overall totals. But now I must determine totals that meet certain criteria, as explained above.
Please help if you dare (smile). This is a huge project I'm undertaking, and so as not to cause confusion I have not included all of the details. But rather, I've taken a small sampling and set it to the side for experimentation. If this small sample works out to my satisfaction I can simply copy and paste the syntax in all other respective cells in the consolidation table, changing only reference locations, and perhaps conditions or values. One thing is certain, I don't intend on giving up on it.

But in my example I'm isolating just the information concerning what I'm now trying to accomplish to finish my spreadsheet project. In spite of this, I've accomplished a great deal in my first large spreadsheet project. I think I've done that separately. These counts are already in separate cells, and they are working fine. Furthermore, the portion of my syntax that shows the COUNTIFS is the exact way I accomplished this, and it is written the way it is written because I need separate sheets, each with their own data tables. Again, in cell E7 I need to determine which of the eight data tables that record wins are also recording 20 minutes, but I need this in a single function and formula with the result appearing only in cell E7. Once this is figured out I will adjust the syntax to do the same thing with every column (these are not shown but they exist) in my consolidation table for the last three footer rows, named Win Column Totals, Tie Column Totals, and Loss Column Totals. The last three rows being footer rows may not be necessary, and if so, I can convert them back to normal rows. Nonetheless, my consolidation table is counting the totals of all data in all data tables. This much I've already accomplished. Now I have one last function and formula I'm working on in order to determine which of the eight data tables record wins, ties, or losses while it simultaneously counts which of the wins, ties, or losses fall within certain categories like elapsed time, and this will be shown on my consolidation table only in the last three rows. Yes, I've gotten the total wins counted, and separately counted the total number of times 20 minutes was the elapsed time used, but so far, just looking at my consolidation table I don't know if the total number of times 20 minutes was used was with a win, tie, or loss. That's what I need to know now. Everything else is already accomplished. So then my consolidation table will show the totals for all data fields in my eight data tables as illustrated in cells B3 and E6. The last three rows of my consolidation table will break this down in a single function and formula with one row for wins, a second for ties, and a third for losses. And each of these respective last three rows will in the same function and formula determine if the win, tie, or loss also is one of the data fields in my eight data tables. How? By the use of columns in my consolidation table. Remember, each of my eight data tables are identical. In the example in my first post I only used one data field, elapsed time (Time in Trade), to illustrate in one column on my consolidation table what I'm trying to accomplish with all of the columns not shown in my consolidation table. Use of MAX function in Query Designer

Dear all,
i want to create a report that gives ONE line per period that holds the MAX of several lines per period. So NO addition of the KF but just one line item.
I tried to use the MAX function and/or MAX drop-down boxes via properties on KF,
but they all provide the wrong result (mostly the MAX after summaction of the KF).
Any ideas ??

Please check the KF infoobject property which might have been set to Summation. You need to change the property of the KF to MAX if you wish to have MAX value.

Mass Change Function for Standard Templates

Hi All,
I am trying to use Mass Change Function to change one field value in my Standard project Definitions as well as Standard WBS Elements but its not doing.Is it that Mass change Function is only aplicable for Operative projects and not for Standard Templates?

OWA_PATTERN regular expressions CHANGE function

I'm trying to use the CHANGE function to match an expression and then change the matched part of the string. The twist is that I would like to pass the matched part of the string through a function before it is replaced in the original string. Here is an example:
Pattern: 'C'
Text: 'CAAACAAAC'
Resulting text: 'DAAADAAAD'
Where the 'D' is the result of calling a function. The actual call to the OWA_PATTERN.CHANGE looks something like this:
OWA_PATTERN.CHANGE(mytext,'C',myfunction(&))
where the & argument to myfunction is as specified in the ORACLE docs as a reference to what was matched. The line of code doesn't work however. Anyone ever done anything like this?

Used yaourt -Sb --export and stuck because url is dead

i was trying to install conky-lua with yaourt -Sb --export funcion, but when it came to tolua++ i started to have some problems because codenix.com website is down and i could not finnish my installation .
I was thinking to edit PKGBUILD and change source=(.........................) to Download from Mirror link, but i couldnt do it because firefox did not showed me full path to file from Mirror link.
used pacman -S tolua++ to install it, but when i tryed again - problem was still there.
so i had to remove all files from directory used by --export function and installed with -S option only but i left tolua++ for just in case matter.
and after successful installation i had to remove tolua++ and docbook2x.
My question is:
why -Sb --export function struggles to install conky-lua and option -S goes all the way to the end. I used -Sb --export for alsi and everything was ok, or i have problems with particular file because url link is dead ?
P.s do i need to leave comment in aur for conky-lua because of dead/broken link ? i created account to contribute if some problem occurs .
