Using Yahoo Basic Mail w/FF, no drop down box of my e-mail contacts as I type an e-mail address - but it works in IE 8, plz fix ...

I use Yahoo Basic Mail. When composing an e-mail, Yahoo has an "e-mail address autocomplete" function. As I begin to type an e-mail address in the To CC, or BCC boxes - if there are addresses in my Yahoo Contact list with the same string of characters, a drop down box appears and I can click on the desired address and it populates the To, CC, or BCC box. This is an extremely convenient feature.
And, it works with IE 8. BUT, this feature DOES NOT work with FF 30.
Obviously, this is a problem with FF 30 - can you plz advise as how to correct the problem?
FYI: Java plug-in is always activated and JavaScript is default enabled in FF 30 on my PC.

Many site issues can be caused by corrupt cookies or cache. In order to try to fix these problems, the first step is to clear both cookies and the cache.

To clear cache and cookies do the following:
#Click the menu button [[Image:New Fx Menu]] and click History button, and then Clear Recent History... .
#Under "Time range to clear", select "Everything".
#Now, click the arrow next to Details to toggle the Details list active.
#From the details list, check ''Cache'' and ''Cookies'' and uncheck everything else.
#Now click the ''Clear now'' button.

There is no way to consolidate iTunes accounts.
Setting up an iPhone has never required creation of a new Apple ID.
You've apparently purchased content with both Apple ID's. Sign into the device with the correct Apple ID and sync the content.

Safari 4.1.3 quits at SSL(?) drop down boxes

Hi. I posted this in the Safari area, couldn't get a response, thought I'd try here.
I am maxed out at OSX 10.4.11 and safari 4.1.3 on an old G4.
Just yesterday Safari repeatedly malfunctioned when accessing secure (SSL?) site drop-down boxes while trying to pay utility bills online. The boxes drop down, the desired selection can be highlighted, but when the cursor is lifted, the change is NOT made, the beach ball spins, Safari quits. Every time. On several different sites. Data can be entered in the blank spaces, but using the drop-down boxes results in a stall, then quit.
These type of tasks were accomplished as recently as the day before. Other Safari functions (browsing, youtube etc) seem to work. Firefox works in all areas.
Any ideas?
Attached a grab, just in case I'm mis-identifying anything. I'm entirely unfamiliar with secure sites, other than using them. What I call a drop-down box are labeled "Any", "0", "no maximum" on the grab.
Now Safari is starting to occasionally quit elsewhere, including this slow-loading site.
Boot / Restart doesn't seem to help. Have done routine Repair Permissions on HD, seemingly not needed.
Tried Reset Safari. No change.
Also emptied InputManagers folder. No change.
Tried trashing any "com.apple.safari.xxx.plist." files I could find in any Library>Preferences. Original problem persists and Safari now running discernibly slower.
Would simply re-installing Safari help? If so, is there any uninstall needed, or other steps to take? Any secret hidden folders that need to be trashed?
Will bookmarks be retained with a simple re-install?

Nope, not a secure site in anyway, it works here, and after looking at what it uses I suspect maybe Java Script.

I cannot click on a subject in the google drop down box to search without typing it in. Never happened before with the Google bar.

clicking on a subject in the Google drop down box does not begin a search unless I type subject matter in the box first.

Drop-Down Boxes

I have created a form using the PL/SQL Toolkit. I have 2 drop-down boxes.
Let's say the options listed in drop-down box 1 are Company Names and the options in drop-down box 2 are Employee Names.
The thing that I want to happen is this: When I choose a Company from drop-down box 1, drop-down box 2 will change such as the Employee Names that are listed are those who work for the Company that I chose in drop-down box 1. How is this possible?

You can do it this way :
Hope you have a table for company names and emp names.
Populate the forst drop dpwn box with the company names, populate it dynamically instead using POPULATE_LIST built-in.

Drop down boxes in PDF files

Is there any possible way to open pdf forms and enter drop down boxes into pre existing forms? We fill out the same form constantly but some of the information varies only slightly and drop down boxes would make the process more efficient. Either that, or being able to load pdf files with a skeleton over them already would also work. If anybody knows how to do this, your help would be greatly appreciated.

Drop down boxes are called combo boxes in Acrobat. You can add them to PDFs if there are no security settings in place that restrict editing the document. Acrobat's help document has more information on adding form fields.

Would this not make my privacy vulnerable?

With iOS 7 on the iPad, you turn Private Browsing on and off by tapping the URL field. The screen that opens up has your bookmarks on it. In the bottom left corner is a hot button marked 'PRIVATE'. Tap on the word 'PRIVATE' to turn private browsing on or off. Yeah, there aren't any instructions anywhere that I can find to do this, and if you follow Yahoo's instructions, they don't work. No - I got the iMac 27 because it was calibrated at the factory(?) and was highly recommended by friends and photographers. No complaints at all, but this printer issue is driving me crazy. I was thinking that if I upgraded to an epson pro printer ICC profile will be on there website. I can't find any for the 835. By the way I didn't calibrate the old dell monitor either and I have had several photos published with no problem at all. Just a note, on epson website there are no printer stating they will run with 10.10 Yosemite. I was looking at the R2000 series. Right now I editing photos that I have to have ready by Jan, maybe by then epson will have something ready.

How do I use Javascript to populate a text field based on a selection from a drop down box?

I have virtually no experience with JavaScript and I am trying to figure out how to add some basic automation features to an Adobe form. I have a drop down box called "Hospital_Name" that will contain approximately 7 possible selections. When the user makes a selection, I would like to have the text field (called "Hospital_Address") below the drop down box populate with the corresponding address for the selection. I have the "Hospital_Address" text field configured for multiple lines and would like the address to have a line break between the street address and the city/state/zip.
For example, if the user selected "Hospital 1", the text field would display:
123 Main St
Anytown, CA 12345
Any help or examples you can provide would be greatly appreciated.

This is not a beginners task but requires a fair amount of knowledge about the structure of objects, defining strings, and structure of arrays.
Are you sure you have all the field names correctly spelled and capitalized?
Do you get any error in the JavaScript console?
Just trying the line that defines the "Location", I get the following error:
SyntaxError: invalid property id
1:Console:Exec
undefined
All the form field in a PDF are processed by using JavaScript and any error in any script will stop JavaScript processing.
It might help to have a link to the problem form.
