hELLO ALL,When I try to load my metatoutline & model into Essbase OLAP using mULTIDIMENSIONAL STORAGE EVERYTHING WORKS FINE. My user id and password in rsm.cfg are correct, I can use that same user id and password to log onto DB2 and create databases, tables etc.,thanks a million in advance this one has really stumped me.

With Filevault turned on, this could be an easy fix, or it could be less easy. By "less," I mean anything from problematic to impossible.
First, I'll give what could be an easy fix: First, determine the "UID" for the account that is giving you trouble. This can be determined by looking at the user's properties in Netinfo Manager (do you know how to do that?), or you can figure it out yourself by determining exactly where, in thesequence of accounts, this user was created. Each account will be assigned a UID incrementally, starting with UID "501."
Next, look in /Library/Caches/ for any files that have that user's UID in the name, drag them to your trash, then empty it. Try logging into that account again.
I have seen several cases where performing the above steps will clear up this problem. If it doesn't, you need to start looking at the encrypted disk image where this user's HOME folder is stored.
When you enable Filevault for an account, that account's HOME folder is copied to an invisible, encrypted disk image. This image is stored in the "Users" folder, but it is named with a "." at the beginning, thereby rendering it invisible in the Finder.
All disk images contain their own file system, just like a real disk/volume. And, just like real disks/volumes, they can suffer from disk errors. This can render them unmountable, and the enclosed HOME folder unreadable. You can make "hidden" files visible in the Finder, and you can attempt to "repair" the disk image using Disk Utility, but there are no guarantees that this will help. If my quick fix above doesn't help, let us know. We will try to help you attempt a repair.
