UWL - Substitution rule not visible to switch it off

Hello,
User A maintains substitution for user B. In ECC, the substitution is active in table HRUS_D2. But User A is unable to see the rule in "Manage substitution". As a result he is not able to switch off the substitution rule from portal.

Problem in UWL Substitution Rules

Hi all,
    I have created a Substitution Rules for user X from user Y. when user X logins and accepts for user Y's rules but he is not able see the rule above his UWL.
   But when I create a rule for some other user U from user Y, user U is able to get the rule above the users U UWL.
   Did anyone faced the same problem can help to solve.

Have you ensured that the source person actually HAS items in their inbox?
Because of the way that task processing occurs you might also want to make sure that the source person hasnt already started processing the item. You should ensure that the task item is "released" in the backend - something as simple as opening the item could cause this. Once you open an item it is locked into your inbox - I dont believe from memory that these can then be substituted to someone else.
If all of that appears OK (and you can actually see the items mixed with your own) then I would suggest you check the properties of the iview and make sure that all "options" (like buttons etc) are turned on. In EP7.0 there is much more control over what is / isnt displayed to the end user. Those facilities (filters) you speak about "should" become visible when you have susbstituted items.

UWL Substitution Rule Issue

Hi All,
We are facing some issues with Substitution rule in UWL on NW portal 7.3 SPS08
Issue described below,
One user has created substitution rule by selecting task type "All" and "Fill In For me" option.
So, as per the standard process this is visible in assignee's login in UWL under "Other users' Sunstitution rule section".
But here problem is in this section there are two line items with same user name and task type, one for "Take Over" and another for "End Take Over".
But as these both are from same user and for "All" type of tasks, it should have only one entry. and both "Take Over" and "End Take Over" should be operated from one entry and two entries of same type is not required, Screenshot is attached here with,
We are required this to be sorted out asap, any help is appreciated...

In continuation of my earlier...can you please check if Substitution from manager is Activated ?
SBWP -> Settings -> Workflow settings -> Activate/Deactivate Substitute....
If it is deactivated......then Login as secretary:
SBWP -> Settings -> Workflow settings -> Adopt Substitution....
Also goto TCode PFTC...
And check your TASK that is not coming in secratary inbox....
Select Additional data -> Agent Assignment -> Maintain data....
Select task and click on attributes.....
Make sure correct classification is mentioned for this task....it should be same to what has been delegated to secretary......
If are able to resolve the query then please let us know how...?

UWL Substitution rules : Problems reported (repairable)

Hello,
I have a poblem with the substitution rules within the EP7.0 (our backend system is ECC6.0).
I have created a substitution rule and have set it active.
When I have a look later on to the management of substitution rules, i always get an error message: "Problems reported (repairable)" --> "Substitution rule is not defined in the system" (System: SAP_ECC_UWL --> this is our system alias for uwl in the EP). When I push "retry" the substitution rule is succesfully registered again.
But the next time when I have a look onto it, i get the same error message.
I checked out the substitution rule, it worked (that means the substitute see the work items in his uwl), but why there is this strange error message ???

Hi all,
I got a similar error:
- Whenever I create a substitution rule, activate it and press then "Refresh", I get two substition rules (for two different users).
This is highly strange. Does anyone have any hints how to avoid to get these two rules?

The substitution rule for getting the desired Business place and Section code is not working in Transaction code MRIS, whereas this substitution rule is working in all other Transaction codes.
Please suggest.

Subsitution rule works when you are posting in Financial Accounting tables: BSEG and BKPF. FB60 and MIRO do that.
The report doesn't make post in mentioned tables to get substitution done. Please make sure if there is a existing call transaction or only a planning are being assigned.

MSS UWL substitution rules

Hi,
I have two questions about universal worklist task managing when manager is not handling the tasks in his job:
1. Leave request: How is ruling of days for when manager does not respond on leave request before sent to above manager?
2. Travel request: How is ruling of days for when manager does not respond on travel reimbursement before sent to above manager?
Anyone who know this, if it is configured by needs of the client or is this standard ruling by SAP?

Pls follow these steps for Substitution Rule
1) Create a Task
A task is nothing but a request to one or more assignees.
2) After creating the Task, Substitution should be assigning the tasks; if manager went to leave he can create substitution in his place
So here once you define the Rule for subtitution then next step is to Set Rule Activation i.,e nothing but "you can turn the rule On or Off at any time on substitution rules management screen .

UWL - Substitution Rule with END date

Dear All,
When user creates substitution rule in UWL, assignee can select Start Date. We want to have end date too.
But as the documentation of UWL says: All substitution rules created have no expiration date (end date) is limitation of UWL.
Can we implement this on our own using some APIs or some other option?
Please suggest.

MRIS Substitution rule not working

the Substitution rule to populate the Business Place and Section code is working with all other transaction codes like FB60, MIRO etc., but not working with MRIS (Mass MIRO) by which we are facing problem in J1INCHLN. Please suggest regarding.
SAP Marketplace has rejected siting it as consulting issue.

Profit center substitution rule not overriding OKB9

There is an automatic assignment of a cost center to an expense GL account in OKB9.
This is cost center is not assigned to any profit center because it is a generic cost center.
When we try to post to the same account manually using FB50 and when we put the same cost center in, it will of course post to a dummy profit center since the cost center is not assigned to a profit center. The profit center field cannot be changed manually as it gets greyed out after derivation.
In order to override it , we have created a substitution rule using OBBH where we have introduced the business area.
We have mentioned that if GL a/c = XXX and business area = YYY , the profit center = ZZZ
When we now try to post into the a/c using FB50 , it does derive profit center as ZZZ from the substitution rule when you press the enter key.
But when you try to post the document, it gives a message saying, it has replaced the profit center to dummy profit center and when i click on the message for more info , it says, it will use the automatic assignment rule and so it will by dummy and not ZZZ.
I would appreciate any help in getting the substitution rule to override the OKB9 in this scenario

First of all profit center field is available in cost center master data and you are saying you have maintained default cost center for the respective GL Account in OKB9.
Now you are substituting the profit center after OKB9 has derived the Cost Center & Profit center.
Yes, sap standard behaviour will not allow you to do that even if you notice that in simulation mode you are able to see that substitution is changing the profit center as in complete call it gets reset to the original profit center again back.
So you can not achieve that with standard boolean logic but only through exit and thats too probably the exit need to get called after the line item value is passed but before posting.

SA520W - IPv4 Firewall Rule not visible

Hello,
We have a cisco SA520W Security Appliance Model with several IPv4 firewall rules configured and we would like to remove one of the rules.
The fact is as that this rule is not visible from the Security Appliance Configuration Utility, although it can be seen on the configuration backup file, it cannot be deleted…
Any idea how to delete this rule avoiding to revert to factory default setting will be appreciated.

Is it one of the built in default rules or is it a rule that was created then deleted from the GUI? Can you paste the section of the config file with the ACL?

Substitution Rule not working for invoice receipt

Hi All,
I have written a Substitution rule using OBBH T.code for Call point "2" - Line item, The rule details are as below
For Account "GR/IR Account" And "Business Area=XXXX" Substitute "Profit Center = YYYY"
When I do Goods Receipt the my substitution is working, it is replacing the existing cost center to "YYYY", but when i do Invoice Receipt the profit center is being derived from the account assignment of the WBS element.
I tried writing a derivation rule 3KEI and it didn't work either,
How can i make my above substitution to work on both (GR and IR) accounting documents.
Any help is greatly appreciated.

Perhaps your prerequisite need to contain other BKPF values like, company code, t-code, etc (if any).
Also please run program RGUGBR00 in SE38 to activate programs.

Business Rules not visible sometimes-via web and smartview

We use EPM 11.1.2.
we have a unique problem-Business rules (associated with forms)sometimes fail to appear either via web or smartview for our users.After logging out and back in,sometimes they appear again.
If we explicitly 'disconnect all' from smartview, close Excel, and go back in again, then the rules are visible.
It is becoming hard to tell when the users can or cannot see the business rules.
All users have the right provisioning-interactive user.
Has anybody seen this kind of behavior before?
We had a similar issue a while back-with eas web versus eas desktop client. Oracle gave us a specific fix for the eas business rules problem.

Thats the strange thing; We use (native) groups to provision. This works fine for the other 5 users.
But even if I provision this one user for the Business Rules, they remain invisible to this user. (in Planning)
I discovered this morning that this user can create a new BR, but when I try to open it in AAS console I get an error
"Exception occured, Please check your log file for details."
Unfortunately, the log doesn't provide any more details. (even if I set the level to Debug)

Transported Alert rule not visible in RWB - Alert Configuration

I have Transported Alert rule Using Below mentioned blog ..
Know How to Transport Only the Required Alert Rules !!!
I have followed the following Procedure
1. Go to Transaction SE16 Data browser.
2. Give the table name as SXMSALERTRULES and hit F7. Then Execute (F8).
3. Copy the ALERTHASHVAL field value of the entries that needs to be transported.
4. Go to transaction SE10 and Create a Workbench Request.
5. Select the Task under Workbench Request and Go to Menu Request/Task -> Change Type and select Development/Correction.
6. Double click the task and go to edit mode.
7. Enter Program ID: R3TR, Object: TABU, Objects Name: SXMSALERTRULES, press Enter and click on Functions.
8. Paste the ALERTHASHVAL field value copied in Step-3 and Save.
Now I can see the transported entries in SXMSALERTRULES table . But when I check RWB- Alert Configurations .. There is no new entry for above transported rule ...
Please tell me what is missing or where am i wrong ...

Solution : -
After Transport All Alert Rules, - >
I created Manual entry for any one of the alert rule from Alert Configuration. ->
Then automatically all other transported rule came into visible state ....
So now i can see all my transported rule in Alert Config...
I dont Know , How does it happaned .. But it worked for me ... All rules got visible to me only after creating a manual entry for amy one of the alert rule ...

My daughter has had her Razr for about 9 months now. About two weeks ago she picked up her phone in the morning on her way to school when she noticed two cracks, both starting at the camera lens. One goes completely to the bottom and the other goes sharply to the side. She has never dropped it and me and my husband went over it with a fine tooth comb. We looked under a magnifying glass and could no find any reason for the glass to crack. Not one ding, scratch or bang. Our daughter really takes good care of her stuff, but we still wanted to make sure before we sent it in for repairs. Well we did and we got a reply from Motorola with a picture of the cracks saying this was customer abuse and that it is not covered under warranty. Even though they did not find any physical damage to back it up. Well I e-mailed them back and told them I did a little research and found pages of people having the same problems. Well I did not hear from them until I received a notice from Fed Ex that they were sending the phone back. NOT FIXED!!! I went to look up why and guess what there is no case open any more for the phone. It has been wiped clean. I put in the RMA # it comes back not found, I put in the ID #, the SN# and all comes back not found. Yet a day earlier all the info was there. I know there is a lot more people like me and all of you, but they just don't want to be bothered so they pay to have it fix, just to have it do it again. Unless they have found the problem and only fixing it on a customer pay only set up. I am furious and will not be recommending this phone to anyone. And to think I was considering this phone for my next up grade! NOT!!!!
