Most likely the issue is non-standard fonts.  Are all used fonts embedded in the document?

  • Printing purchasing documents.

    Hi,
how can I configure the system for printing purchasing documents,
what are the trx for configuring the system?
    Best regards

Hi, for each purchase document you have one transaction.
You have to go to transaction SPRO -> Materials Management -> Purchasing -> Messages -> Output Control -> Message Types -> in this section you select what purchasing document you want.
You select output type with double click, on default values you put dispatch time with type 3 or 4, and transmissium medium.
If you want to change programa and form you double click on Processing routines tab.
Then you have to create condition record for this document, you go to Logistics -> Purchasing -> Master Data -> Messages -> in this section you select document that you want.
In this transaction you create by output type, condition record for each document type, etc...
I hope that this information help you

    Hi
did you try to complete transaction with same language?  I had same problem some time back for JP language. we asked user to log in JP language and complete the transaction and then ask him to take a print out  with same log in language. It was working.
    please confirm.

  • How to print Adobe form in different languages.....

    HI ,
I made one Adobe print form in EN language. Now the client requirement is that  want to print in Chinese language also or in any other langauge . Please tell me how tio do that. I am looking for a valuable solutions.
    Vishwjeet

    Hi Manoj,
Does the requirement is to translate text in different language without any modification in the layout or do you need to make modification on layout depending on language ?
If you only need to translate text, use SMARTOFRMS and SAPSCRIPT text in your form and add a Language parameter in the interface . then in the layout use the text in the language value given by "Language Parameter" . With this way you don't have to connect in each language to activate the form .
If you need to make modification on layout, you need to conect to SAP in required language and then modify the form .
Hope this help , if you need i can send you a sample form for the first solution.
    Regards.

  • View of Description of Document in Different Language

    Hi Experts,
We maintain the description of the Documents in several languages using the transaction CV01N or CV02N. But when we tried to find all the different language descriptions, we could not find any way of cusotmising.
Can anybody have come across with similar situation and can have some idea.
    Thanks
    SM

When searching document (CV04N) it is defined so that in "other selection criteria" section first You have to choose the search language and then type the search value for description. If the search language is e.g. EN it wont find FI description(s).

  • Printing same document to different printers results in differint number of pages

Hello - when I print a form, created in a custom application, to an HP 1160, it prints on 4 pages.  When I use the same computer and application to print the form to an HP 1320, it prints on 3 pages.  The form was designed to print on 3 pages, and when I compare the 4 page printout to the 3 page printout, the font size on the 3 page  printout is slightly smaller.  Is there anything I can do, short of replacing my 1160 printers with 1320s?
    Thank You

First of all, you can't use Adobe Reader to add, delete or duplicate pages in a PDF file (unless you use a template object), so you're either using Adobe Acrobat, or some other application entirely.
The size of PDF files is not linear, ie if you have 1-page file and it's 1 MB, then duplicating it will results in a 2-page file of 2 MB, or a 10-page file of 10 MB. Many items in a PDF document only need to be saved once (such as font information, image information in some cases, etc.), so the change in size when adding additional pages is sometimes very small. At other times it can be very big, though. You can have a 100-page file that is 1 MB and then add a single page to it, with a new font perhaps, and the size will jump to 5 MB, just because that font is very large...

  • Print PO item text in different language

    Hi,
We have a global vendor whose communication language is maintained as PL in vendor master while our logon language is EN.  The text therefore is maintained in PL language.  It seems the output program only picks the text in logon language (EN) and so the PL text is ignored.  Current the solution we can find is either ask user to logon with PL language when he needs to print the PO, or manually input EN as communication language when creating a PO.  But I hope to find a better solution.  I tried changing the the message output to be PL but doesn't help.  Any idea?
    Thanks a lot in advance.
    Susan

Thanks DEV, to clarify, for this particular PO with PL vendor, only item text in PL language is maintained. It doesn't seem like SD, we can manually choose language and maintain texts in different language (I think I saw some notes saying this - one PO one language of text only).
Also both from other threads I saw and my test proves via maintaining communication condition record with other language doesn't work.
However from you second thread, I am curious about this saying :
If you want to print the PO in different language.
Then in Message determination IMG settings or NACE.
You can modify the output type NEU
here change the language from EN to your relevant language as per SAP.
If you want the both EN other language then copy the std NEU & create as per your requirement & mention the language in that new out put type.
    rgds
    gsc
I want to know how to change the language for a output type?  I search the whole output type configuration but I didn't find anywhere to maintain language for a output type.
    Thanks Susan
PS, so far I feel the first reply from Sharma makes sense, the only thing is not sure if SAP is supporting the idea of making change to routine (comprehension issue)

  • F-47 Error "Purchase document is allocated to asset"

    Hi,
I've created a PO for buy asset, Account assignment "A". Now I want to raised a 10% down payment request for this PO.
    I hit this error:
Purchase document is allocated to asset
    Message no. F5378
    Diagnosis
The asset number   assigned in the purchase document
    - is different from the asset number entered manually
    - cannot be transferred, because the 'Asset number' field was hidden for the account in question
    System Response
In the first instance a warning appears, drawing your attention to the different account assignments. In the second instance an error message appears, because the asset number must be transferred from the purchase order but the necessary field is hidden.
    Procedure
If you receive the warning, check which asset number is the correct number for this down payment.
If you receive an error message, you must either choose another special G/L indicator for down payments so that it is possible to assign an asset number to the relevant general ledger account, or you must change or delete the the specified purchase document number. Only those purchase documents are allowed which are not assigned to assets.
Please advice me, what should I do? Thanks

    Hi,
on top of my setting, I also perform this changes:
    1. enter OBC4 and select field status variant
        -   Then double-click on Field Status Group
        -   Select field status group: Reconciliation Accounts
        -   Then, click on the magnifying glass " Edit field status"
        -   Double-click on Asset Accounting
        -   Change Asset number/subnumber to optional entry and save.
    Now it hit another error:-
"You cannot use this transaction type to post to this asset"
    Message no. AA834
    Diagnosis
The transaction type entered belongs to transaction type group 15. According to the specifications for this transaction type group, posting with transactions types belonging to this group are only allowed in specific asset classes (for example, asset classes for assets under construction).
The asset to which you are posting belongs to class D01 (chart of depreciation L001). You cannot post to this class using the transaction type you have entered.
    Procedure
Check the asset number entered. You may want to allow posting with this transaction type group for the asset class of the asset.
Can I just change this error message to warning? Any impact if I do this? Thanks

  • Documents preview and print in arabic as well as different languages.

Hello we are using Adobe reader 9.0.  We have a internet application that prepares our mortgage documents using Adobe 7,8,9. Some of the document looks good but parts are arabic amongst other languages. It appears to be a font issue.  When printing as well we have to print these documents as images.

    Hello,
Absolutely great that your system is a Unicode system. So you can do as following.
    1. Type in the text in Unicode encoding. I am not sure the software which you are using to type in Arabic is supporting Unicode.
So just to test whether it supports Unicode try copying the Arabic text in notepad/word and check whether those words are copied properly or not. If yes then go ahead keeping them in the SO10 Object.
If the Arabic text are rendered as boxes or question mark then the problem is with your typing software.
    2. After keeping the text in the SO10. You can print it by normal include command in the script.
If you are still not able to print them then you need to check the printer configuration with help of SPAD transaction.
Just ensure the printer character set in Attributes Tab is 4110 and UTF-8 encoding. If not then contact your basis team to change these settings.
Try it and do let me know.
    Cheers
    Ajay

  • PO Print out in different language

    Hi,
I have maintained translations for PO fields which are getting translated to the required format and there is a problem with purchase order which is being displayed on the top of PO.
This has to be customized in the table T166U, its maintained in EN.
Let me know hoe to maintain in other language in this table.
The link for customisation is under IMG>MM>PURCHASING>MESSAGES>TEXT FOR MESSAGES>TEXT FOR PO
    Thanks in advance

could you please explain in detail, how to make this setting active and how does it help to print purchase order header in different language

  • I installed Reader (in English) and it prints in a different language

I installed Reader [01/03/2010,in English] and it prints in a different language/garble.
I received a hospital appointment email with an attachment confirming my next day's appointment.
The attachment confirms place and time with a barcode to be scanned upon arrival at the hospital's kiosk.
So far all is good but, when I print the attachment it looks similar in format but is garbled.
It does not appear to be a translation to a foreign language but rather a series of random letters and symbols.
    Examples:
Time:      prints out as; Ujn f ;       Provider:prints out as: Qspwjef s ; Location: prints out as: Mpdbyjo
    09:00AM   "     "   ;    1: ; 11BN      Not only are the letters garbled but they are merged
I don't know what's wrong or how to fix it. My question is "What I Gotta Do?" HELP!

It "could" have something to do with improper embedding of the fonts used in the document. Reader is substituting for a different font which as you can see, rarely works.
One thing you can try is in the print menu find the option to "print as image" and see if that works.
If it doesn't, there isn't really anything you can do except to contact the folks that made the PDF and request that they embed all fonts.
