  • Vendor currency change not reflected in shopping cart

    Hello All,
I have changed the vendor currency from foreign currency to local currency(like GBR to INR) in ECC system.
After that I have created a shopping cart in SRM.
The value of the shopping cart in SRM is in local currency.
When the PO is created at backend in ECC system, the value of the PO still converts the amount to foreign currency
and calculates the net price, but in the currency field it shows the local currency(like INR).
It is not considering the change in vendor's currency.
This PO value is also displayed in the SC.

    Hello,
The MM PO price value is calurated as in INR only but it is still taking the conversion as it was earlier
as the vendor currency is in GBR.NOw as it has changed to INR no conversion has to take place but
    it is still happening.
If I need to debug, which programs I need to, because these are ITS templates where
PO creation will happen at backend may be i think through RFC calls.
    Thank you for your inputs.

  • Currency change before PO is ordered/created.

    Hi all,
    SRM 5.0 ECS,SP12
    issue :
Shopping cart is created in MXN curency.Correspondng PO needs to be created in USD as the vendor doesnt aceept Po's created in MXN.When creating a PO,if the currency is changed from MXN t USD,the item price is not changed on change of currency i.e.
SRM PO >100 MXN>currency chnaged to USD-->price still remains 100
ECC PO-->price replicated as 100 USD.
When changing the currency in the PO before ordering it,we get a warning message stating that the vendor currency is different from the PO currency.
    Is the above behaviour std???

    Dear friend,
You have to verify the conversion rates from MXN to USD in the following customizing path
    Transaction SPRO
    > SAP Implementation Guide
       > SAP Web Application Server
         > Currencies
           > Check Exchange Rate Types
           > Enter Exchange Rates
If the value is not converted, it is quite possible that you have a rate 1 x 1 between MXN and USD.
This warning message is standard, but as it is a warning it will not keep PO to be ordered.

  • Company code currency change over

    Dear all,
Want to know information about company code currency changes.
Our company code currency is SGD and now want to change to USD.
Our fiscal year is Jan-Dec and we are in SAP 5.0 version.
Can you let us know whether itu2019s possible to do the change?
If so, how and can we perform this activity in the middle of the year.
How to take care of the open items like PO,SO,Vendor ,Customer, which we have already posted in the system with our SGD currency.
And if not, do suggest and alternate/workaround.
Heard about,  that this can be achieved with PARALLEL CURRENCY activation.
Not having much idea about Parallel Currency.
    Do suggest.
    Regards,

    Hi,
A change of the company code currency is possible. The change is only possible as at year end (the actual running of the programms can be done mid-year provided certain customising has been done prior to the first posting in that year).
All items will get changed from old local currency to new local currency.
You can read the documentation in Spro > Cross-Application Components > EMU > Local Currency Changeover.
This is a very complex procedure so be sure to read all the documentatin first.
    Kind regards

  • Vendor Master change pointers problem

    Hi ,
We have a custom program that will read change pointers for Vendor master .
we use these change pointers to trigger our custom idoc . But we need to select only change pointers of vendors whose changes are confirmed in transaction FK08 or Fk09
Please let me know how we can check the changpointers for particular vendor is confirmed or not
    Regards,
    Ramesh

Just as a follow up on this.  I think that within the setup of the classification system you need to configure the tracking of changes.  If you take a look at table TCLA you'll notice that there is a field which indicates if change document are turned on.  I belive that this then relates back to the "virtual" change document objects that I refered to in my previous post.
It looks like during update tasks that fucntion CLVF_VB_INSERT_CLASSIFICATION and that this checks the TCLA table and then writes the change documents as part of the updates.
The description of this field in TCLA is:
    Change Documents for Classification
Indicator: for this class type, a change document is generated for all changes to classification data.
For technical reasons, this indicator can only be set if the class type is defined for classifying different object types.
looks like there is some more research needed but this should hoepfully get you on the right track.

  • Vendor Master Change Log Details

    Hello All,
As I have changed the vendor master data on last May-09. But the changed master data is wrong.
So I'd like to reset the vendor master data to the original value.
Therefore, could you please let me know how to check the vendor master change logs ( i.e with the use of any t-codes or tables ), and how to identify the original values ( i.e before changing ).
    Best regards,
    Kesav

You can see in Xk02 / Xk03 transaction - Environment tab - Field changes..

  • Vendor Master change  - Message 00055

    Dear Gurus,
There is no issue in changing the vendor master, but suddenly in Change - Contact Persons screen (Vendor master change), the system prompts to Fill in all required entry fields (which is mandatory - the system pops suddenly, but its not happened previsouly). Below is the message, when i see in F1
Please advice how to rectify the problem? Thanks in Advance
Fill in all required entry fields
    Message no. 00055
    Diagnosis
You have attempted to update data or start an action. However, not all required information was specified.
    System Response
The system could not execute the action.
    Procedure
Enter all required information. Fields in which you must enter data are prefilled with a checkmark or question mark ("?") by the system. If the current screen contains tabs, check all tabs to make sure you have filled in all required fields. Then restart the action.

    RS,
It is possible that a mandatory field is hidden (suppressed) in the vendor master fields.  That would help explain why this just started happening.  Check "Define Account Groups with Screen Layout (Vendors)" and "Define Screen Layout per Company Code (Vendors)" in the IMG to verify the vendor master screens have not been changed.

  • Need BOR & event which triggers after vendor master change.

    Hi all.
Can you pls let me know the BOR & event which triggers after vendor master change. (Xk02). I used tcodes SWELS (evetn trace) , and SWEL and changed vendor adress using XK02. but I could not find any event or BOR in the trace. Pls help me out.
    Cheers,
    sam.

    Hi
when we change the vendor details we dont have the event which is automatically triggered by the system so we create an zbusinessobject as subtype  for the vendor(LFA1)  as supertype.
and create a new event in that z business object .
change document for the vendor is KRED you can check it in the CDHDR table by giving tcode name.
after finding changedocument object go to SWEC and create a newentry specifying your changedocumentobject name and BO name and event name and click on radiobutton onchange.
and now you can check whether an entry is getting in swels or not when changing the vendoor details.
    Thanks.

  • Email upload in vendor master change

    Hi all,
I have to do emails upload in vendor master change but when i do through shdb recording i am not able to see the communication screen to enter the values. Can any one of you please guide me step by step.
    Thanks & regards,
    Kumar

    Hi,
you have to use table BAPICOMREM. Just go to one testing customer and add email address with note to this customer. Then go to SE37 and call BAPI BAPI_ADDRESSORG_GETDETAIL. This BAPI has same structure as BAPI_ADDRESSORG_CHANGE. Hence you will see how you have to fill all structures to change email address and also note.

  • How BBPUPDVD determines vendor master change in ECC?

    Hi Experts,
How is the vendor master change in ECC captured and what is the strategy/check that the BBPUPDVD transaction OR vendor update report uses/does in ECC to pick up the updated vendor with qualified fields for transmission?
Qualified fields -> Purchasing block, curr change, comm method change, etc.
For e.g, if a vendor is blocked for a P.Org today and if we either execute BBPUPDVD OR vendor update job, so how does it determine the change in vendor master in ECC?
    Thanks!
    Regards,
    Karthik

    Hello Karthik,
just to complete what wrote Konstantin, those change documents are determined in ECC using CHANGEDOCUMENT_READ function modul inside BBP_SCAN_VD function modul which is called by RFC from SRM (report BBP_VENDOR_SYNC).

  • Vendor Bank changes affect House Banks

    Hi,
We noticed that users with Bank Maintenance authorization (TCode FI02) for changing vendor bank details are able to change "House Bank data", e.g. vendor bank is also a house bank  -> a user changes the vendor bank details (e.g. SWIFT code for a given bank) in the Vendor Master Change-screen (Change Vendor XK02 -> Payment Transaction -> Bank Data) --> result: it also changes the SWIFT code in the House Bank.
Does someone know what the relationship between Vendor Banks and House Banks looks like (Table BNKA vs Table T012) ?
What would be the best approach to restrict "House Bank Changes"? (e.g. if a user changes a vendor bank that is a house bank as well a Warning message should show up - check against table T012)
Did somebody face the same issue?
    Any comments are highly appreciated!
    Many Thanks,
    Jason

Fields in Vendor Master data can be defined as Sensitive fields, so that when a user changes a field in the Vendor Master data, it will be blocked for payments and also that the changes need to be confirmed by another user.
For Settings SPRO -> Financial Accounting -> AR and AP -> Vendor Accounts -> Master Data -> Preps for Creating Vendor Master data -> Preparations for Creating Vendor Master Data -> Define Sensitive Fields for Dual Control (Vendors)
For Confirmation of Changes -> Easy Access -> Accounting -> Financial Accounting -> Accounts Payable -> Master Records -> Confirmation of Changes -> Single (T-Code FK08)

  • How to replicate R/3 Vendor Master changes to SRM

    Hi Gurus,
We have scheduled the job "BBP_VENDOR_GET_DATA_JOB " on daily basis, the job is running and updating the new vendor master from R/3 to EBP. But it is not updating the R/3 vendor master changes (E.g. Blocking the Vendor in R/3) are not getting update to R/3.
Please any one can suggest which job we need to schedule for this one. Also I found to report for this one " BBP_VENDOR_UPDATE_DATA_JOB" and BBP_VENDORS _SYNC", but I am not sure which one needs to setup. Also please suggest me any config needs to be do for this one.
    Your help will greatly appreciated.
    Thanks & regards,
    Sada

    Hi Sada,
AS per  OSS Note 602651 , for SRM 2.0 and SRM 3.0 [ EBP 3.0 and EBP 3.5] SAP provided the  report  BBP_VENDOR_GET_DATA_JOB and BBP_VENDOR_UPDATE_DATA_JOB which could be scheduled in background for vendor replication and synchronization in SRM. These reports are equivalent to TCODE BBPGETVD and BBPUPDVD.
Thereafter from SRM 4.0 onwards SAP strategy has been to do one time replication through BBPGETVD and provided different way of synchronizing the replicated vendor. That is based on change object concept, for that it has provided an SPRO Node for Customization.
SPRO->IMG->SAP Supplier Relationship Management -> SRM server -> Technical Basic setting -> Settings for Supplier Synchronization
The Customization setting is required before we schedule the synchronization job. The Synchronization job runs the report BBP_VENDOR_SYNC.

    vamshi

    Hi Vamshi,
You can use the field<b> udate</b> from table CDHDR .I  am referring to this as we can see this feild in report S_ALR_87012089 which gives the date of last change in vendor master if you give the vendor number in the selection screen. So what you can do is that you can pick the values from it..
    Reward points if useful...

  • Vendor name Changes

What is the SAP standard process for a vendor that changes it's name?  Do you create a new vendor?  If you create a new vendor, how do you link the old vendor data?

    I am familiar with XK02.
The problem we encounter was an auditor was making selections from an SAP report and selected a 2007 invoice from vendor ####### which displayed the name: "Siemens Healthcare Diagnostics". When the responsible A/P person looked in their Siemens file, they could not find the invoice. Someone remembered that this vendor was actually named Dade Behring Inc in 2007.  (1) When is a "name change" really a new vendor account and (2) If a name change is not a new account, is there a field in the vendor master record where we could store the "old name" so that it would be visible to A/P but not appear in places where it should not.

  • Vendor info change (XK02/MK02) investigation

Hi! Security Experts, We have an issue where vendor information was changed by multiple user-ids, and the corresponding actual users are saying they have not changed. The user-ids used to change the info don't have access to MK02/XK02 at S_TCODE level but looks like they have access to rest of the authorizations with activity 02. Need help investigating how the changes occured and who made them?
I have asked my functional experts to research if there is a way to get to vendor-info change screen via a different t-code other than MK02/XK02, because the user-ids have every other authorization then S_TCODE. Ran ST03N on the user-ids based on the timestamp to narrow down the t-code list through which the vendor-change screen might have been launched. No luck yet and if you have any ideas on further investigation please share.
    Thank You,
    Rama.

Copy the user to a test user (in QAS) and display a G/L document in FB03 where the posting key entry is for a vendor account.
    Double-click the vendor account....
Same goes for a whole range of other transactions.
    > The user-ids used to change the info don't have access to MK02/XK02 at S_TCODE level but looks like they have access to rest of the authorizations with activity 02.
That is what you gave them. That is what you get.
S_TCODE is only a very general "start" level authority to functionality. It does not necessarily prevent the user from using it.
Most likely the error is in your role design...
    Cheers,
    Julius
