Vertical Pictures - Upload to Web

I'm having problems with vertical pictures.
When I browse my pictures anywhere on my Mac Book (Finder, iPhoto, Photoshop, etc.) I can view my pictures in their correct vertical and horizontal state. However, when I upload my images anywhere on the web (my photography class online website, web albums, myspace, etc.) the vertical images load horizontally.
How can I solve this?

Stop uploading the incorrect way by going directly into the iPhoto library and start uploading by using the media browser - at the bottom of the source pane in the upload window under media ==> pictures ==> iPhoto - it often give you incorrect results and risks corrupting your iPhoto library

What you see in Lightroom - are just previews, that were built before dropping your Passport. All you have are JPEG-compressed previews, your original RAWs died with your external HDD. You can get those previews from Lightroom's preview cache using a tool like LRViewer.
I don't think you can create a web gallery from withing Lightroom. Lightroom will need to have the original master files in order to build a gallery. That's even if you have high quality previews prebuilt. So, again, if you extract the previews with LRViewer, save them as JPEG files and import into a Lightroom catalog instead of your DNGs - you will be able to upload a web gallery.

Lync User Picture Upload

We are deploying the Lync 2013 for the users in our organisation. There will be more than 6000 users who will be using the Lync across organisation. We have Active Directory Single Forest/Single Domain Infrastructure. The users in Lync will be getting authenticated
using AD.
We have a requirement to upload user pictures in Lync and it has been told to us that the Pictures of users to be uploaded in AD and Lync will sync from there.
We do not want to upload the pictures for so many users in AD as it will increase the AD Database size. Is there any other way to upload the pictures in Lync or any other place from where Lync can synchronise.

I have just upgraded from CS 6 (Dreamweaver) and now when I click on a picture on a web page in Dreamweaver it doesn't go to the folder where the photo is stored anymore. If this continues I'll have to go back to CS 6 as I have to put in alot of photos.

How do I add image upload to web app edit template?

How do I add image upload to web app edit template. When creating fields I am selecting image from the field type. But the only way to upload and image is when I create the web app item within the admin. The option to upload an image is not available when the user submit web form opens.
Wont send any of these questions through this email anymore but really needed assistance.

On the Details tab of the Web App setup, under Web App Item Options; have you ticked "Allow File Upload" and specified a Default Upload Folder?

I am trying to take a picture of a web page and paste on a one drive powerpoint. I tryed pressing the print screen button, and pasting. But it is giving me message saying that my browser can not fine the clipboard, and I need to use the keyboard shortcuts

I have the latest version of Safari on my Ipad but in these days it no longer dislays the pictures os some web sites like Zalando.

Have you tried restarting or resetting your iPad?
Restart: Press On/Off button until the Slide to Power Off slider appears, select Slide to Power Off and, after It shuts down, press the On/Off button until the Apple logo appears.
Reset: Press the Home and On/Off buttons at the same time and hold them until the Apple logo appears (about 10-15 seconds).
No data will be lost.

Picture Upload only works in IE

I created a picture upload routine to allow users to store their picture in the DB. The routine works fine in IE, but not in any other browsers. Am I missing something? Here is what I did:

SQL exception occurred during PL/SQL upload in WEB ADI Upload

Hi All,
I created Custom Integrator with META DATA as Update. This Integrator Downloads the data and will update the date. Once it is updated, I am uploading the same. For Quite Some Time, Everything is working fine and no issue.
All of Suddenly , I am getting the error message 'SQL exception occurred during PL/SQL upload.' When I am trying to update and upload the values in the same custom integrator.
My Oracle Apps and DB Version are
RDBMS : 11.1.0.7.0
Oracle Applications : 12.1.3
Any Help is appreciated.

I found the issue. If you check read only check box for the mandataory parameters that Package is using, then we get this issue. Try to avoid read only check box for mandatory parameters in th epackage.
For Example.
I am using hr_person_extra_info_api.update_person_extra_info API in my custom package, In this API, p_person_extra_info_id is the mandaory parameter.
I am trying to download the data and updating the data and uploading the values with the custom WEB ADI. In the custom layout, I checked ready only box to parameter 'p_person_extra_info_id '. With this I am getting issue 'SQL exception occurred during PL/SQL upload in WEB ADI Upload'.
again I unchecked the read only button to this 'p_person_extra_info_id ' Parameter. It is uplaoding and working with no issues.

Eliminate White Space in Picture Library Slideshow Web Part

On my site, I am using picture library slideshow web parts on two different pages, and one of them is giving me trouble with unwanted white space between the photos and the back, pause, forward control buttons (see photo below).
In an attempt to resolve this issue, I have tried numerous things. I have resized the width and height of the web part itself to many different sizes, but to not avail. I have cropped and resized all of the photos to be the exact same size of 300x200
pixels. I have used CSS to display the photos to their actual size rather than the standard preview size. With all of this in mind, my second photo library web part on another page works perfectly. This was white space problem was only an issue until
I resized/cropped the photos in that case. For this page, however, that solution is not working.
Does anyone have any clue as to how I can remove this unwanted white space?

From your description, you would like to remove white space in picture library slideshow web parts. You used CSS to solve it however a web part still show white spaces.
Please press F12 and see if there is div tag in white space, if there is, try remove it.

Vertical Pictures Cut Off in Photo Album Page

On my photo albums page, the picture I want to use as the first picture is a vertical picture. But on the albums page, the albums are all horizontal. So when someone goes to look at my albums page, they just see these cut-off pictures with heads missing. Is there a way to change the orientation of the albums so they are vertical? Or is there a way to edit the first picture so that you can move the picture down so at least the head is showing in the horizontal view?

Hi Kara,
the only solution I can find is to drop a vertical photo into the MyAlbums page and cover the album with it (thus hiding the other head-less photo) linking that photo to the photopage.
However this will cause the effects moving the pointer over the album cover (skim, dissolve, ...) to disappear.
As far as I know albums can't be rotated and vertical photos are cut off and you can't tell iWeb not to cut them off...

Vertical pictures in slideshow

How do you get vertical (portrait) pictures to display correctly during preview using slideshow? My vertical pictures are rotated to fit the 720 x 480 window so they are displayed sideways. Do I have to prepare them in photoshop in a 720 x 480 file with bars on each side?

... and you can control the resize/recompose of each image paying attention to action safe area. I found a lot of no pro images, in particular those with people can have the heads very near the image border and you can loose some of them if you don't edit them first to add some background/border.
