Vertical scrolling based on buttons and NOT Mouse

I have 5 elements, basically rectangles with different colors. What I want to do is scroll to particular color based on buttons action. I have placed 5 buttons above the first rectangle. Based on the button action it should scroll to a particular color and the 5 buttons should stay in the same place.
I have created the layout in edge of what i want to do. I dont want the scrollbars hence, I have then hidden. And I dont want to achieve this using mouse scroll but with buttons. Scrolling using the buttons.

@heathrowe's example comes close to what i want to achieve. he has different menu items on each rectangle. I tried doing it but was unable to make the things work.
EDIT: If I create a website in Adobe Muse using anchors and add actions on buttons to switch to that anchor, I want o do something similar in Adobe Edge. I had almost done the same with Muse, unfortunately it doesn't have responsive support, therefore I'm trying to do it in Edge

I want to do this by 5 buttons. I now know that it is possible by creating Symbols and putting action statements for scroll. If someone can walk me through in doing so, like step by step, I would be very thankful.

Screen in jammed or how it looks without vertical scroll bar ? Check with site master page if you have modified anything related to vertical bar or else Try in other system and check if you are able to see vertical bar .

On every website, my right vertical scroll bar is missing and all of my Toolbar bookmarks unless I minimize the window, click "view" and "full page." How do i get it back to NORMAL?

When I hit "full page" the right vertical scroll bar re-appears, but my bookmark toolbars, my bing bar, and pretty much the entire top 2 inches of my screen disappears. When all of these things are showing, the right vertical scroll bar disappears, and the entire webpage shifts to the right, so I can't see most of the right side of the page. How do I fix this?

SCCM 2012 R2 Reports not activate Value button and not showing Visio and Project products

Hello,
I have experiencing some problems with SCCM reports
1) In some of the reports the "Values" button is disabled and because of that I can not select the name of a specific computer, the reports I've noticed that are relating to Specific Computers
2) The other problem is that when reviewing a software inventory report on a specific computer, Visio nor the Project of Microsoft Office does not appear , which itself can be seen from the Resource Browser
I will appreciate it very much to help me to solve these drawbacks presented in the reports of SCCM 2012 R2.

open the report in the report builder tool (in the console, right click and edit. From the reports web page you can click the drop down and choose open with report builder) and examine the query that is being used to populate the computername
values list. You should be able to run that query from the report builder utility to see if anything is being returned. For the report you mention, there is no query to bring back computer names. In report builder, in the left hand menu, open the parameters
folder, then right click @variable from the list and open the properties. Go to the available values item in the menu of the properties window and notice that the available values is set to none, not get values from a query. That is why you can't click on
Values in the SSRS report and get a list of computer Names. You could add a query into the report and save the report if you really want a drop down list of all computer names. I would save the report with a different name if I were to take that approach,
it is not a good practice to modify the built in reports.
Regarding the applications you are not seeing, you will have to look at the query contained in the report, and determine if that query is targeting the same view or data that you were looking at using resource explorer. Which category within resource
explorer were you seeing the information you were expecting to see in this report? You can use report builder to see that the report you are looking at is calling a function to return the software titles, and that function looks to be based on the v_gs_softwareproduct
view. If you were looking at software files or add/remove programs within the resource viewer, you won't necessarily see the same information in the report, since the report is reading a different view.
I hope this info will help you to troubleshoot report quirks. SCCM 2012 reporting is a world apart from SCCM 2007 reporting. There are alot more stored procedures and functions used in SCCM 2012, and even a dll file on the reporting point that is required
for some (most) of the reports!

Software demo with next buttons and auto-mouse actions is confusing to viewers

I created presentation tools for my co-workers to do a road show type thing of our software. On some slides, they must click a next button to advance, but not on others- this is intentional. However, we got the feedback that users find it confusing to see two cursors- the auto-play one and the one for the computer the presenter is using (if that makes sense?)
I suggested using a different cursor for the demos, but what they would really prefer is that they could advance the demo through a keyboard action instead of clicking that next button (but I assume the next button would still be there, right?)
Does anyone know if this is possible with Captivate 3?

Hi Dee
You are able to turn off the mouse cursor if you want. This would perhaps eliminate the confusion. You could use a Click Box instead of a Button if you wanted to pause the slide. You may also configure either a Click Box or a Button with a Keyboard shortcut the user would press to move on.

9x9 array of buttons and not a single button worked

im trying to build a 9 x 9 block composed of buttons. I used array of buttons.
here's my code with my explanation and poor logic thinking details.

Now, i created the main and compiled the program. The frames appeared complete with 81 buttons. But, when I click on any button,
it does nothing. The button's text which is supposedly to change is not displaying anything. this is a vital thinking process for me and any help from someone would be very much appreciated.

I believe the problem is that you are using the actionCommand but you did not set the actioncommand for the buttons. I suggest you either set the action command for each button to a unique item or use getSource instead.
Also, you might want to break out of your for loop once you find the correct button.
Also, if the future use the code formatting tags and this probably should have been in the Swing forum.

After the recent update I am having issues with Flash based games freezing and not responding.

After the recent update I am having issues with flash based programs not running or loading correctly. The programs will not load or take an extremely long time to load compared to jsut a few days ago. This happens across the board on anything flash based. Also, once they do load they will freeze, stop responding or need to be constantly refreshed to come back alive which is short lived at best. I went thru the help and did all the file deleting, cache clearing, disabling hardware acceleration, removing then reinstalling flash, and even removing and reinstalling my browsers. None of this has helped at all. I am using Chrome and it is up to date and I checked my Flash player and it is up to date. I am running windows 7 64bit.

Here's what you're up against guys,
Adobe writes the base code for Flash Player, and then hands it off to Google, who adapt it to a PPAPI plug-in (it's NPAPI when Adobe writes it). It's then "PepperFlash" and Google embeds it in their Chrome browser. While Google is pushing a "webwide" move to PPAPI Flash Content, a reinvention of the wheel so to speak, not everyone "got the memo", and Google is slowly making it so that PepperFlash will block NPAPI Flash content from running properly, and you have to disable PepperFlash to force the NPAPI plug-in to work, which sometimes fixes it, sometimes not. I have a feeling this is only going to get worse. HTML5 will eventually resolve the video end but game developers need to come up with something that won't require a plug-in.
And to the first post: Since PepperFlash is embedded in Chrome by Google, you can uninstall and reinstall Flash Player from here until your hard drive literally seizes up.... guess what? It has NO EFFECT at all on the PepperFlash plug-in in Chrome because it's a separate file in a separate folder and the uninstaller & installers don't have anything to do with it.

Vertical scroll in edit mode and Open a complete row in edit mode

Any help would be greatly appreciated , if someone can share their knowledge/experience on the following two items ..
1. Can you please help on how to implement vertical movement in data grid (Using the up and down arrows to move from an editable cell in one row to the same column in the previous/next row) just like using tab to move in the same row, from one editable cell to the next? Please note we are able to implement the user navigation in editable mode in one single row and the user tabs from left to right and the cells render in edit mode without issues.We are trying to implement this in a vertical fashion to have the datagrid cell rendered in edit mode from one column in one row to the same column in the next row ..We are tryinng to simulate the same user feel when a user navigates in Excel sheet.
2. Is there a way to open a cell in Flex datagrid edit mode by default? I understand that the itemrenderer for that column could be a text input but I don’t always want that cell to be in an edit mode. When the user comes to the screen, it needs to be in an edit mode just as a visual indicator that it can be edited. Once the user finishes editing, the cell can use the default itemrenderer. In other words, how do we fire an edit event on a cell when it is rendered for the first time by default? In nut shell how do you open all fields in the entire row in edit mode (rather opening one cell at a time it in edit mode as the user tabs from left to right )

Accordian widget only triggers on click, and not mouse-over

I cannot get my accordian widget to behave properly. I have created a drop-down menu off my main nav that I want to trigger (or accordian down) upon mouse-over, and go back up after I have clicked a menu item. Right now the accordian will only open when I CLICK the menu, and only closes when I click again (which is crazy annoying).
How can I set the states for the accordian???
