  • Very Urgent : Dumps Generated in Production System, reason unknown

We are getting ABAP Dumps every second for some reason on the production system. The error analysis message is as follows :
    Error analysis
The data type "MCVBAPB" was reloaded from the database while the program
    was running.
However, the system found a version of the type that was newer than
    the one required.
Any pointers to the reason for this will be helpful.
    Kindly contribute.

    Hi Booma,
Probably structure MCVBAPB was changed (either directly or by importing a transport from the QA system). These structures are stored in buffers and users already logged on will work with these buffered structures. After the change/import the system will notice a difference between the structure in the buffer and the actual one and will dump.
Normally this should only happen once for each user currently logged on. Any user logging on after the change should  not have this dump.
    Regards,
    John.

  • Very Urgent : Reordering of fields in Transaction Form

I am trying to reorder fields on the transaction form using form personalization.
I would want to interchange the positions of Batch Source Name field and Transaction Number field.
Although I am able to interchange the fields. The Prompt of Transaction Number doesnt move with the field and hence i see an overlap of prompts of these two fields. Can you please tell me how to resolve this.
    Thanks,

you can check this link here you can see the steps and you can do it the same by looking at it..
    http://smoschid.tripod.com/How_to_do_things_in_SAP/How_To_Build_SMARTFORMS/How_To_Build_SMARTFORMS.html
    SMARTFORMS STEPS.
    1. In Tcode se11 Create a structure(struct) same like the Internal table that you are going to use in your report.
    2. Create Table type(t_struct) of stracture in se11.
    3. In your program declare Internal table(Itab) type table of structure(struct).
    4. Define work area(wa) like line of internal table.
    5. Open Tcode Smartforms
    6. In form Global setting , forminterface Import parameter define Internal table(Itab) like table type of stracture(t_struct).
    7. In form Global setting , Global definitions , in Global data define Work area(wa) like type stracture(struct).
    8. In form pages and window, create Page node by default Page1 is available.
    9. In page node you can create numbers of secondary window. But in form there is only one Main window.
    10. By right click on page you can create windows or Go to Edit, Node, Create.
    11. After creating the window right click on window create table for displaying the data that you are passing through internal table.
    12. In the table Data parameter, loop internal internal table (Itab) into work area(wa).
    13. In table there are three areas Header, Main Area, Footer.
    14. Right click on the Main area create table line by default line type1 is there select it.
    15. Divide line into cells according to your need then for each cell create Text node.
    16. In text node general attribute. Write down fields of your work area(wa) or write any thing you want to display.
    17. Save form and activate it.
    18. Then go to Environment, function module name, there you get the name of function module copy it.
    19. In your program call the function module that you have copied from your form.
    20. In your program in exporting parameter of function pass the internal table(itab).
SAP Smart Forms is introduced in SAP Basis Release 4.6C as the tool for creating and maintaining forms.
SAP Smart Forms allow you to execute simple modifications to the form and in the form logic by using simple graphical tools; in 90% of all cases, this won't include any programming effort. Thus, a power user without any programming knowledge can
configure forms with data from an SAP System for the relevant business processes.
To print a form, you need a program for data retrieval and a Smart Form that contains the entire from logic. As data retrieval and form logic are separated, you must only adapt the Smart Form if changes to the form logic are necessary. The application program passes the data via a function module interface to the Smart Form. When activating the Smart Form, the system automatically generates a function module. At runtime, the system processes this function module.
You can insert static and dynamic tables. This includes line feeds in individual table cells, triggering events for table headings and subtotals, and sorting data before output.
You can check individual nodes as well as the entire form and find any existing errors in the tree structure. The data flow analysis checks whether all fields (variables) have a defined value at the moment they are displayed.
SAP Smart Forms allow you to include graphics, which you can display either as part of the form or as background graphics. You use background graphics to copy the layout of an existing (scanned) form or to lend forms a company-specific look. During printout, you can suppress the background graphic, if desired.
SAP Smart Forms also support postage optimizing.
Also read SAP Note No. 168368 - Smart Forms: New form tool in Release 4.6C
What Transaction to start SAP Smart Forms?
Execute transaction SMARTFORMS to start SAP Smart Forms.
Key Benefits of SAP Smart Forms:
SAP Smart Forms allows you to reduce considerably the implementation costs of mySAP.com solutions since forms can be adjusted in minimum time.
You design a form using the graphical Form Painter and the graphical Table Painter. The form logic is represented by a hierarchy structure (tree structure) that consists of individual nodes, such as nodes for global settings, nodes for texts, nodes for output tables, or nodes for graphics.
To make changes, use Drag & Drop, Copy & Paste, and select different attributes.
These actions do not include writing of coding lines or using a Script language.
Using your form description maintained in the Form Builder, Smart Forms generates a function module that encapsulates layout, content and form logic. So you do not need a group of function modules to print a form, but only one.
For Web publishing, the system provides a generated XML output of the processed form.
Smart Forms provides a data stream called XML for Smart Forms (XSF) to allow the use of 3rd party printing tools. XSF passes form content from R/3 to an external product without passing any layout information about the Smart Form.
    SmartForms System Fields
Within a form you can use the field string SFSY with its system fields. During form processing the system replaces these fields with the corresponding values. The field values come from the SAP System or are results of the processing.
    System fields of Smart Forms
    &SFSY-DATE&
Displays the date. You determine the display format in the user master record.
    &SFSY-TIME&
Displays the time of day in the form HH:MM:SS.
    &SFSY-PAGE&
Inserts the number of the current print page into the text. You determine the format of the page number (for example, Arabic, numeric) in the page node.
    &SFSY-FORMPAGES&
Displays the total number of pages for the currently processed form. This allows you to include texts such as'Page x of y' into your output.
    &SFSY-JOBPAGES&
Contains the total page number of all forms in the currently processed print request.
    &SFSY-WINDOWNAME&
Contains the name of the current window (string in the Window field)
    &SFSY-PAGENAME&
Contains the name of the current page (string in the Page field)
    &SFSY-PAGEBREAK&
Is set to 'X' after a page break (either automatic [Page 7] or command-controlled [Page 46])
    &SFSY-MAINEND&
Is set as soon as processing of the main window on the current page ends
    &SFSY-EXCEPTION&
Contains the name of the raised exception. You must trigger your own exceptions, which you defined in the form interface, using the user_exception macro (syntax: user_exception <exception name >).
Example Forms Available in Standard SAP R/3
    SF_EXAMPLE_01
Simple example; invoice with table output of flight booking for one customer
    SF_EXAMPLE_02
Similar to SF_EXAMPLE_01 but with subtotals
    SF_EXAMPLE_03
Similar to SF_EXAMPLE_02, whereby several customers are selected in the application program; the form is called for each customer and all form outputs are included in an output request
    Advantages of SAP Smart Forms
SAP Smart Forms have the following advantages:
    1. The adaption of forms is supported to a large extent by graphic tools for layout and logic, so that no programming knowledge is necessary (at least 90% of all adjustments). Therefore, power user forms can also make configurations for your business processes with data from an SAP system. Consultants are only required in special cases.
    2. Displaying table structures (dynamic framing of texts)
    3. Output of background graphics, for form design in particular the use of templates which were scanned.
    4. Colored output of texts
    5. User-friendly and integrated Form Painter for the graphical design of forms
    6. Graphical Table Painter for drawing tables
    7. Reusing Font and paragraph formats in forms (Smart Styles)
    8. Data interface in XML format (XML for Smart Forms, in short XSF)
    9. Form translation is supported by standard translation tools
    10. Flexible reuse of text modules
    11. HTML output of forms (Basis release 6.10)
    12. Interactive Web forms with input fields, pushbuttons, radio buttons, etc. (Basis-Release 6.10)

  • Dump in Production due to CALL_FUNCTION_OPEN_ERROR???

    Hi all,
I am getting lot of dumps in Production with following details
    What happened?
    Error in ABAP application program.
The current ABAP program "SAPLOLEA" had to be terminated because one of the
    statements could not be executed.
This is probably due to an error in the ABAP program.
    What can you do?
Print out the error message (using the "Print" function)
and make a note of the actions and input that caused the
    error.
To resolve the problem, contact your SAP system administrator.
You can use transaction ST22 (ABAP Dump Analysis) to view and administer
termination messages, especially those beyond their normal deletion
    date.
    Error analysis
An error occurred when executing a Remote Function Call.
"Protocol error when communicating with SAPGUI."
Status of connection.... "RFC DRV=GUI INPUT"
    Internal error code.... "RFC_IO20"
When communicating with SAPGUI, a protocol error was detected.
Any have Idea for this ?

    Dear Vipin
That is a very complicated error, difficult to analyze.
First I would recommend an update of the SAP GUI onto the newest patch
level. Additionally please update the SAP kernel to the latest patchlevel and the RFC libraries!
If that all should not help, deeper analyses are to be made so in your system.
For that you should then create a support message.
    Best regards
    Sven

    Hi Ashutosh Gulkhobre,
I coppied the dump from the ST22.
Now please tell me solution fro this error ?
    Runtime Errors         OBJECTS_OBJREF_NOT_ASSIGNED_NO
    Exception              CX_SY_REF_IS_INITIAL
    Date and Time          27.06.2007 09:54:55
         Short text
Access via 'NULL' object reference not possible.
         What happened?
Error in the ABAP Application Program
The current ABAP program "SAPLHRXSS_PER_MAC" had to be terminated because it
               has
come across a statement that unfortunately cannot be executed.
         What can you do?
Note down which actions and inputs caused the error.
To process the problem further, contact you SAP system
              administrator.
Using Transaction ST22 for ABAP Dump Analysis, you can look
at and manage termination messages, and you can also
keep them for a long time.
         Error analysis
An exception occurred that is explained in detail below.
The exception, which is assigned to class 'CX_SY_REF_IS_INITIAL', was not
               caught in
procedure "HRXSS_PER_CLEANUP" "(FUNCTION)", nor was it propagated by a RAISING
               clause.
Since the caller of the procedure could not have anticipated that the
exception would occur, the current program is terminated.
The reason for the exception is:
You attempted to use a 'NULL' object reference (points to 'nothing')
              access a component.
An object reference must point to an object (an instance of a class)
before it can be used to access components.
Either the reference was never set or it was set to 'NULL' using the
              CLEAR statement.
         How to correct the error
Probably the only way to eliminate the error is to correct the program.
If the error occures in a non-modified SAP program, you may be able to
find an interim solution in an SAP Note.
If you have access to SAP Notes, carry out a search with the following
              keywords:
              "OBJECTS_OBJREF_NOT_ASSIGNED_NO" "CX_SY_REF_IS_INITIAL"
              "SAPLHRXSS_PER_MAC" or "LHRXSS_PER_MACU04"
              "HRXSS_PER_CLEANUP"
If you cannot solve the problem yourself and want to send an error
notification to SAP, include the following information:
              1. The description of the current problem (short dump)
To save the description, choose "System->List->Save->Local File
              (Unconverted)".
              2. Corresponding system log
Display the system log by calling transaction SM21.
Restrict the time interval to 10 minutes before and five minutes
after the short dump. Then choose "System->List->Save->Local File
              (Unconverted)".
              3. If the problem occurs in a problem of your own or a modified SAP
program: The source code of the program
                 In the editor, choose "Utilities->More
              Utilities->Upload/Download->Download".
              4. Details about the conditions under which the error occurred or which
actions and input led to the error.
The exception must either be prevented, caught within proedure
"HRXSS_PER_CLEANUP" "(FUNCTION)", or its possible occurrence must be declared
               in the
              RAISING clause of the procedure.
To prevent the exception, note the following:

         Information on where terminated
Termination occurred in the ABAP program "SAPLHRXSS_PER_MAC" - in
               "HRXSS_PER_CLEANUP".
The main program was "SAPMSSY1 ".
In the source code you have the termination point in line 13
              of the (Include) program "LHRXSS_PER_MACU04".
The termination is caused because exception "CX_SY_REF_IS_INITIAL" occurred in
procedure "HRXSS_PER_CLEANUP" "(FUNCTION)", but it was neither handled locally
               nor declared
in the RAISING clause of its signature.
The procedure is in program "SAPLHRXSS_PER_MAC "; its source code begins in
               line
              1 of the (Include program "LHRXSS_PER_MACU04 ".

  • Change in material prices- very urgent

    Dear Gurus
We have a very urgent issue to be resolved,
we have a situation where in we are finding a huge difference in the inventories posted in SAP to that of the legacy data for a particular month(JUNE) these inventories where first initially uploaded according to the data given by the client.
But the client has later realised that the price given for the materials was including Excise Duties, thats the reason there is a huge difference in the inventories.
The MM period for June was closed and july was opened, then the client wanted us to change the prices to the original rates that is without ED. so we have run MR21 as on 1st of july. even then the changed prices where not seen in Material
    master.
Now the client is insisting on getiing the JUNE inventories exactly matching with legacy.
Note: The july transactions are already running online i.e all PO's have been closed for JULY but the PRoduction orders are still in pending.
In this kind of situation how can we get those inventories back correctly(for JUNE month).
    Solution will definately be rewarded.
    Thank you in advance
    kavitha

If GRs have been done for POs already in July, you should not change the prices for June.
In such a scenario, one option is to have stock accounts with Credit balances (a purely FI entry) which will bring the value of the inventory down in the books.
Another option is to calculate the value manually for each material - i.e. the correct value (uploaded) and the PO Prices and do an MR21 to correct the stock value. This is the ideal solution but may not be practical to implement.
    Hope this helps,
    Lakshman

  • ORA-04062 - very urgent, please help

Error "ORA-04062: timestamp of package "SYS.DBMS_SNAPSHOT_UTL" has been changed" appears while refreshing materialized view with DBMS_MVIEW.REFRESH, the configuration is described below, please, any suggestions what cause the problem?
    I have the master database:
    db_master
    Oracle Database 10g Enterprise Edition Release 10.2.0.3.0 - 64bi
    PL/SQL Release 10.2.0.3.0 - Production

the master and replica databases are installed at different hosts
    At db_master:
    1. I create table TEST
    CREATE TABLE TEST (ID NUMBER PRIMARY KEY);
2.Then create materialized view log on TEST
    CREATE MATERIALIZED VIEW LOG ON TEST;
    At db_replica:
    1. create dblink MASTER to db_master
    2. create materialized view
CREATE MATERIALIZED VIEW MV_TEST REFRESH FAST AS SELECT * FROM TEST@MASTER
    At db_master:
1.Insert some test values to TEST
    INSERT INTO TEST VALUES (1);
    INSERT INTO TEST VALUES (2);
    INSERT INTO TEST VALUES (3);
    COMMIT;
    At db_replica:
    1. call in job (every 10 sec) DBMS_MVIEW.REFRESH(‘MV_TEST’), or manually:
    begin
    DBMS_MVIEW.REFRESH('MV_TEST');
    end;
sometimes (not at every call the below error callstack appears)
17:07:22 ORA-04062: timestamp of package "SYS.DBMS_SNAPSHOT_UTL" has been changed

Please, help me solve this problem, what cause ORA-04062?

    Zjawka,
This forum doesn't consist of paid support personell.
Labeling your request as 'very urgent' must be considered rude.
If you would have looked up the error at all in the online documentation,
    you would have got:
ORA-04062: %s of string has been changed
Cause: Attempt to execute a stored procedure to serve an RPC stub which specifies a timestamp or signature that is different from the current timestamp/signature of the procedure.
Action: Recompile the caller in order to pick up the new timestamp.
No why do you do take the trouble to dump all in this junk in a volunteer forum, and you can't be bothered to look up the error message?

  • Badi's on vi01. Pls Its very urgent

    Hi Experts,
I have given the requirement below I am not aware of badi's. Pls tell me the info about  Business event 1120P. And also post the coding for this functionality . Its very urgent
    Enhancement Summary
Two user exits are needed to determine the correct G/L Account and Cost Center on Shipment Cost documents and post the Material Group on the Accounting document. BADI_SCD_ACCTG and Business Event 1120P can be used to accommodate the new functionality.
    Business Process
Specific G/L Accounts and Cost Centers have to be determined to post on the Shipment Cost document. This is needed to provide accurate management reporting capabilities on shipments for Sales Order or Stock Transfer Order. A new custom table must be created which contains the following information: Distribution, Mode of Transport, Account, Cost Center Material group. Distribution is an identifier here if this shipment originated from an SO or STO.
There are no screens involved in this enhancement.
    Components
    Table: ZTABLE1
Field     Data Element     Type     Length     Description
MANDT     MANDT     CLNT (key)     3     Client
DISTRIBUTION     Z_DISTRIBUTION     CHAR (key)     1     Distribution
MOT     ZZDEF_MOT     CHAR (key)     2     Mode of Transportation
MATKL     MATKL     CHAR (key)     9     Material group
SAKNR     SAKNR     CHAR     10     G/L Account Number
KOSTL     KOSTL     CHAR     10     Cost Center
This table gets updated manually by the FI team.
    Values for Distribution are:
‘1’  =  Primary Distribution to Refinery
‘2’ = Primary and Secondary– Excluding refinery
All entries must be checked against SAP config and master tables
User exit BADI BADI_SCD_ACCTG will be used to determine the correct G/L Account, Cost Center and Product Group based on Distribution and Mode of Transport. This BADI gets called only when a new Shipment Cost document get created.
Once the BADI determined the new values it populates field c_vfkn-sakto with the G/L account, field c_vfkn-kostl with the Cost Center and exports the Product group to memory.
There is no field on the Shipment Cost Document to store the Product group. Therefore another mechanism must be used to get the Product Group on the accounting document.
Business Event 1120P can be used to import the Product group out of memory and put it on BSEG-MATNR. Structure BSEG_SUBST must be enhanced with field MATNR for this purpose.
Function, Rules, Exits      Description of Functionality, Rules, Exits
BADI_SCD_ACCTG     Business Add-In for Shipment Cost Account Assignment
Business Framework     Business Event 1120P can be used to import the Product Group from memory and to populate field BSEG_SUBST-MATNR.
This event gets called from different places. It needs to be ensured that it only populates the value when it was called from BADI_SCD_ACCTG.
Custom Table     A look-up Table needs to be maintained for Distribution, Mode of Transport, G/L Account, Cost Center and Material Group
Transaction code     To maintain the new table
Append Structure     To enhance structure BSEG_SUBST with MATNR
Business Add-In BADI_SCD_ACCTG can be used to determine the account assignments for a shipment cost item to set the G/L Account and Cost Center. All data needed to determine the new information gets provided in this BADI.
    Logic:
    •     Determine if STO or SO based on Document Category from internal table I_REFOBJ-VTRLP field VGTYP If is C then Distribution type is Sales Order (Primary and Secondary – Excluding Refinery – ‘2’ ) else we need to check the receiving plant. If the receiving plant (I_REFOBJ-VTRLK field WERKS) is a refinery the Distribution type is Primary (1) else it’s a (Primary and Secondary – Excluding Refinery – ‘2’ ). Refineries can be identified via Function Module Z_M_GET_PLANTCLASSIFICATION. The plant must be passed into Import Parameter IP_SAPPLANT and field INT_PLANTCHAR-ATNAM must be looked up with value SAPTYPE. If it exists and field ATWRT contains ‘RFY’, the plant is a refinery.
    •     Product Group can be determined from the Material master through Material group field MARA-MATKL.
    •     Mode of Transport will be passed in the BADI in VTRLK-OIC_MOT.
    •     Select single entry from table ZTABLE1based on Distribution, Mode of Transport and Material Group. If nothing gets selected, error message ‘No entry exists in table ZTABLE1for Distribution (distribution), MOT (MOT) & Mat. Group (material group)’ should be triggered.
    •     Move ZTABLE1-SAKNR  to c_vfkn-sakto and ZTABLE1-KOSTL to c_vfkn-kostl
    •     The Material group must be exported to memory in BADI_SCD_ACCTG
    •     The Material group must be imported from memory in Business Event BP1120P
    •     Free Memory in Business Event BP1120P
