Very urgent help in jtsble scroll bar issue

Hello friends,
I am using jtable in scrollpane.I am adding rows in table and wheever we add a row , table will point last added row and scrollbar will go to last point.
i used below 2 ways to make i scrollbar down wheever a new row comes.
1. m_jTable.scrollRectToVisible(m_jTable.getCellRect(m_jTable.getRowCount(),2, false));
2./m_pane.getVerticalScrollBar().setValue(m_pane.getVerticalScrollBar().getMaximum())
But it is working some times an other time it fails.
If you guys have any idea please share with me ASAP.

Page shift due to vertical scroll bar issue

I'm working through a vertical scroll bar issue in my design, using a ProjectSeven CSS page template. When testing the site in my browsers (FF/Safari/IE/Opera), and IF the scroll bar is not present, the entire page shifts to the left (the width of the scroll bar) when I click a link in the left column of my design. The page does not shift when the vertical scroll bar is present. Support at P7 suggested the following fix:
html, body {
height: 100.1%;
margin: 0 0 1px;
I've tried placing this markup in about ten different places but can't seem to find the right location in the code. Is it possible for someone in the forum to take a look at my page source and show me where/how to locate this fix?

I'd like to place the fix where you've suggested, but that's the whole issue.
I simply don't know where my CSS ends (duh). Is it possible that you show me exactly where?

Recently, I have started working on ADF and till now I found 2 scroll bar issues with Oracle ADF.
1. af|inputComboboxListOfValues : Scroll bar appears on Google Chrome.

I beleive that these two are scroll bar related Bugs but what I understand from ?messageID=9773962 that since I don't have support contract, I can't file a bug.
I have created this thread so that responsible people can take actions accordingly.

Use Case:
Application will have different BC for different IT Assets (like Monitor, Keyboard, Servers etc), which will basically hold records for all available Assets (like Display Resolution, screen size etc for all monitor in Monitor BC).
I want to give user; the ability to create, for e.g., the sub-class of Monitor to store more specific attribute-values in different table (which will be linked Parent BC). For e.g.: They may want to care about holding CRT and LCD Monitor records in separate new database table -- Application will ask user what all attributes/Columns they want to see for LCD which is specific to this type AND which is not present in already existing out-of-box Monitor BC/Table - e.g. - "Viewing Angle" Attribute).
With that said, I can write code to create database table on fly (having 1-to-1 foreign key reference to parent table) but writing ADF part seems difficult. I also wanted application to automatically generate new page for newly added VO BC. E.g.: LCD-Monitor.JSPX inheriting all attributes from monitor (parent VO) in the same structure as Monitor.JSPX file is having with extra LCD-specific Attributes in separate panel tab (which again UI developers can customized it).
Too much to expect huh !
I am going to start building the application so If not above way, any other suggestion to achieve the requirement ?

Help with a vertical scroll bar issue with a List component

hi. i have a basic <s:list> that uses an XMLListCollection as it's data provider and a very basic itemrenderer. when a row in the list is clicked a function gets the list.selectedIndex then populates some text fields with more xml data. that all works fine.. the problem i have is that the vertical scroll bar on the list seems to be "clickable" - just like a row in the list. the scroll bar scrolls normally but when it's clicked the selectedIndex becomes -1 which is not helpful b/c the value -1 is passed to the XMLListCollection.
any ideas? cheers.

thanks but still problematic...surely the <s:List> component shouldn't return a value when the scrollbar thumb is clicked? i created a very basic list (see below) and made the list dimensions short enough so that there is a vertical scrollbar and found that when the scrollbar thumb is clicked the trace(event.currentTarget.selectedIndex) returns a number. that's annoying b/c i just want a selectedIndex value for a row that is clicked not the scrollbar.
any ideas to get around? cheers

Attachment issue --very urgent help required

1)i have create page and deatal page . requirement is that we have to load required attachments in table region, if not loading required attachments exception will raise. this validation is working fine in create page.
2)same in detail page i loaded required attachments also excepiton is raising.
waht would be cause. i am very new to ADF technology.

Let me say that if you are asking about OA Framework, you should ask on the OA Framework forum, not here.

iii. Increment the running serial number and update ZFICO with new serial number.
a. GV_ SERIALNO = WA_ZFIBUE-SERIALNO + 1
b. Update ZFICO Set value1 = GV_SERIALNO
Where PARAMTYPE = "BPM030307" AND
SUBTYPE = "ZFIBUE" AND
KEY1 = "SERIALNO".
iv Move VDFT to BSEG-GSBER.
v. Exit routine.
4.6 Fetch MTART into GV_MTART from MARA where MATNR = BSEG-MATNR.
4.7 If SY-BATCH = INITIAL AND GV_MTART <> ROH, issue the error message - Maintain the mapping of product hierarchy <PRDHA> from article <MATNR> for <BUKRS>. Else, go to step 3.8.
4.8 If SY-BATCH <> INITIAL AND GV_MTART <> ROH, issue the error message - Maintain product hierarchy on article master. Go to step 3.10.
4.9 Move GV_GSBER TO BSEG-GSBER.
4.10 Exit Routine

Skillbuilders Modal Page (2.0.0) - Scroll bar issue

I am using this plugin and I am having an issue.
My requirement is to open a page from a link. I am able to do the same but I want the pop to be of specific width and height with scroll bar for height but not for width.
Is there any way to do the same?
As of now I can see that we can either turn both scroll bars on or both off.
Please suggest that how can the same be achieved.

It's true, the one option controls both horizontal and vertical scrolling. This is due to the fact that the underlying plug-in uses one option for both.
Have you tried just constraining the width of your modal page so that it's not as wide?
As always, putting an example on apex.oracle.com and providing developer credentials would be helpful in helping you.

Very urgent help - for update field1 nowait across databaselink

Hi,
We have a form that uses select for update field1 nowait for a table that is accessed across a database link. When we try to do this the form errors out giving frm-92101 error. If I comment out the for update statement then it works fine. I know it the for update that is causing the problem but I'm not sure how to fix it. Can someone help me please. Very urgent, we are in the middle of upgrade and we found this issue while testing the forms.
Any ideas or suggestions ?
I'm using 10g App.Server and 10g database.

ADF vertical table scroll bar issue when many records.

Good morning!
I am using Oracle JDeveloper version 11.1.1.6.0.
I have a search form and a simple ready-only table displaying about 1 million of records.
At the top of my search form, I have navigation buttons (First, Previous, Next, Last).
So when I click for example on the Next button, my table will highlight the next corresponding row as expected.
But here is the issue. When I click the Last button, the vertical scroll bar of the table does not scroll (automatically) to the end and display to me the very last row of my table.
How can I achieve this? When I manually scroll to the last row, I would find it highlighted but I need the vertical scroll bar to react on Last and First buttons click even though I have a big number of rows.
What should I do?
Any suggestion will be very much appreciated

In Jsf table property inspector
I binded my table to my java bean (I called it myRichTable).
I added the First and Last buttons as partial triggers of my table
In java bean
In my last() method I encluded the following line of code: myRichTable.setDisplayRow(myRichTable.DISPLAY_ROW_LAST).
And in the first(): myRichTable.setDisplayRow(myRichTable.DISPLAY_ROW_FIRST);

Scroll bar issues

My scroll bar doe not work in the Control Panel and possibly other areas. When I try to drag it down, it goes back to the top, no matter if I use the wireless mouse or the lap top's finger pad.

I see you are having some issues with your scroll bar. Check to make sure that End and Page Down keys are not sticking as this will cause your issue. Here is a document on Troubleshooting a Notebook Keyboard it is for Windows 8 but the Stuck key section is what you want. If that doesn't work then please reply back with both your operating system and product number.

Viewing mac's webmail in safari - scroll bar issues

i've noticed that the apple site and .mac have had a makeover in the last few days.
it's a nice upgrade, but i'm having problems viewing my .mac webmail with safari;
i have webmail set up with 3 panes; left hs are folders, top is messages and bottom is preview. however now the scrollbars do not allow me to scroll to the end of the message preview. instead, when the scroll bar is at the bottom of the window i have only scrolled through part of the message!
does anyone know if this is a mail or safari issue, and how to fix it - it's very annoying!
(i would use the mail app but i'm behind a firewall and can't configure it, so i have to use safari and webmail)

Registering The iPhone 3G HELP! Horizontal Scroll Bar!

iTunes tells me that i have to regiser my iPhone3G, so i do and i get to the iPhone Software License Agreement.. i scroll to the bottom and it only gives me three things to click. a box (The Box that states "I have read and agree..."), another box that says Cancel, and another that says Save. Obviously, a button is missing, and it is on the far right, but iTunes somehow, does not stretch that far!!! it doesn't make sense, but it doesn't have a horizontal Scroll Bar (THE BAR THAT MOVES THE SCREEN LEFT TO RIGHT). please help. i've uninstalled and reinstalled iTunes 7.7 twice already. and there's still no horizontal scroll bar!

I am having the same issue. Went to the Apple Store in Boston and the Genius Bar escalated the problem to the Engineers and they could not even solve it. They needed me to send them an image of the issue. I went to another Apple store and the Genius there had much better problem solving skills. He used his own critical thinking and discovered that the horizontal scroll bar sits at the same height. The height is exactly where the split keyboard ends. If you take screen shots and compare...you will find they are all at the same height. He thinks since the keyboard is a new feature they havent worked out the problems yet...and we will have to wait for the update.
Ever since Steve Jobs has been gone the call to response for issues is getting increasing slower and slower. New products continue to roll out but they all have problems and bugs. Take Maps for instance...they still have not fixed all the issues (even with this 6.0.1 update). The Ipad mini I spend 700$ for and it is such a faulty product. For what I spent I would have thought I would have gotten a great product. I have all Apple products...phone, desktop, laptop, Ipad original, and Mini...but they have done me wrong over and over. It may take months for them to roll out the fix the way the compnay has been operating under Cook.
When will the fix come....I do not know... best of luck!

Mobile table scroll bar issue

Hello All,
I have used sap.m.Table on my mobile app page and I have set growingScrollToLoad to true.
Everytime I scroll the page down, table loads more and more data, but the scroll bar position moves to the top automatically.
This is very annoying because after getting bigger set of data, my scroller moves back on top and I have to move it all the way down to where I was.
Any ideas as to why the scroll bar moves up automatically and how to prevent it?
