I am Creating Work flow of VF11 ( Cancel Billing Document)
I have Find the Bussiness Object through SWEL but system not generating any object for it in that Report.
I want Bussiness object of Cancel Billing Document .

ASSIGNED WF_COMMIT called
CREATEBILLDOC billing document created
I am Not find VBRK , Method : ItCustBillingDoc.Cancel

Hi
When you have said ECC, it suggests a transactional system and Business Objects Offer Crystal Reports as industry standard and of course best reporting tool.
To use Crystal Reports on top ECC transaction system, SAp Integration Kit should be installed on the system where we have installed Crystal reports. CRystal reports is a client tool.
On installation of Integration Kit necessary drivers to connect to ECS will be installed and you can coonect to ECS and develop reports in Crystal reports.
Now distribution of reports, if the distribution of reports is in some PDF format or crystal natve format and end uses view using Adobe r Crytsal Reports Viewer.
But if you plan to publish the reports and distribute the reports, then you may need to go for either Crystal reports Server or Business Objects Enterprise/Edge server
Hope this clarifies your doubt. Let me know if more information is required

Hi,
1. Goto Bapi tcode u can find list of all objects . For purchase order goto material mgmt and in that goto purchasing then click on purchase order , U can so purchase order object screen and method of that.
2. For idoc error see we02 and we05.

Dennis is right, the connectivity option youo have today is limited to Crystal (unless you wanted to do something purely at the DB layer), but Webi/Universes for ERP are coming in a future release. A prototype is availble at the Innovation Center

EEWB Bussiness Object

Hi Experts,
I'm trying to create a field using EEWB (Easy Enhancement Work Bench). I'm not sure which 'Bussiness Object' has to be chosen for it.

Hi Kris,
For creating the custom fields in Product Master, you don't need to use EEWB.
You can do this in Settype.
Goto Tcode : COMM_ATTRSET
Create the attributes (fields) one by one.
Create a Settype & assign the attributes.
once you have created the Settype, Go to Menu SETTYPE/ATTRIBUTE --> Select transport & Include in a transport request to be moved to other clients.
Assign the Settype in the Product Category hierarchy (Tcode : COMM_hierarchy )
Now the fields(attributes) are available for you in product master.

Hi Oscar,
No there is some problem when i try to start the services it gives
The XI3MobileAuthServer started and then stopped.Some services stop automatically if they have no work to do,for example
,The Performance Log and alert services.
The above is the message i get when i try to start the services.
I am also not sure about the connection settings in the Simulator.
For the time being have given this
CMS name:BLRARANJAN:6400(This is my machine name)
Mobile Server:(This i dont know what to give)
Port Nbr:10011
Auth Method:Enterprise
Please let me know wat to give for mobile server name and if we are supposed to make any changes in the JAD file.

Error while releasing Transport which Contain Bussiness object type

I created the method in ZBUS100106 and released it and generate it ,then in the program I wrote some code,functionality works fine ,Now while moving transport to Quality Syestem it shows up with the error
*ZBUS100106 is inactive* , I released it and generate it one more time but did'nt help
My transport has
    Workflow templates
        90000004
    Program
        ZBUS100106
    Business object types
        ZBUS100106
    Table Contents
        SWOTICE
only problem with the program it shows inactive,I ran Se80 and it shows some Subrutine inactive I activate it by clicking right and select Activate but none of the perform activate .

Bussiness object serialization problem

Hi, I have a little problem with serialization, when I want to create xml from Business object. Example:
MyBoObject obj = new MyBoObject ();
obj.atr1 = "aaa";
obj.atr2 = "bbb";
String xml = DynamicXml.createXmlTextFor(object : obj, topLevelTag : "something");
display(xml);
And displayed result is:
<something>
<atr2>bbb</atr2>
</something>
atr1 is attribute, which is inherited from db table.
atr2 is atribute, which I created (it is not inherited from db table)
Whole problem is, that it only serialize atr2 - from some reason it completely ignores atr1 and his value.
Like I can't serialize attributes, which are inherited from db table.
But when I created new attribute atr2 in my Business Object (which is not inherited from db table), everything work ok. Where's the problem? I read docs, but found nothing...

Have them import the project, start Studio's Engine, login as "test" and start the Workspace. Create a work item instance and then run the work item when it reaches the "Test" activity. When you run the logic, you'll see this displayed:

Error when FM Include in th Bussiness Object

I created a Function Module and I included it in the Business Object ZBUS2172, while I release it shows the error as below.
Field "EXCEPTIONS" is unknown. It is neither in one of the specified tables nor defined by a "DATA" statement . . . . . . . . . .
If include it I will assign it to the workflow. Can any one solve it.

Find bussiness object as unicode compatible.

I need to make a business object as unicode compatible.
I run the tcode swo1 and put the name of object in it,
but i was unable to find that screen where i put the unicode check enabled.
plz help, it is urgent.

I don't know where to set that flag either, but you can run transaction UCCHECK to make sure that your business object doesn't have any unicode related errors. One of the options is 'Check only programs where the unicode flag is not set'.
If you remove the flag your program should be checked for Unicode errors in any case. Running it again with that flag set it shouldn't pick your program if the flag is set.

U want to add two no. using BO.
For this u have to create 'z' Object .
Inside that create 'z'Method.
Now after that u can write ur functionality of adding two no. in that method.
this u can use in ur WF.
Or u can use delegation also.
Take selfitem as a supertype for BO.
Or there is one step-conatiner operation...
u can directly use that for addition of two numbers.
details:
Each business object has the following properties:
a.     Object Type ID u2013 It is used for internal identification of the business object.
b.     Object Name u2013 It is used for external identification of the business object.
                Using this property external system can interact with SAP system.
c.     Super Type u2013 It is the parent object from which all the components of the BO are inherited.
d.     Name u2013 It is a descriptive name of the BO.
e.     Description u2013 It is a brief description of the business object type.
f.     Application - The application component to which the BO belongs to.
g.     Program - Program that will contain the ABAP code of the BO.

This encapsulation leads to simplification, because the inner structuring of a business object remains hidden in additional nested objects. Business APIs as methods of business objects enable external systems to access R/3 System functions, via the Internet.
Condition Object: You assign preconditions and selection conditions to the characteristic or characteristic value to which the condition applies.
Customizing Object: A customizing object is an SAP component, to which a customizing object with the same contents in another component is assigned. The contents of the customizing objects have to be synchronized in different systems in a system landscape.

Configuring DB2 connect for Bussiness Objects XI on Unix server

Hello,
We have installed DB2 Connect on the same unix server where BO is running.
We are trying to connect BO to DB2 on the Mainframe.
We are able to connect from the db2 prompt on the Unix to the DB2 on Mainframe.
We created the instance, and LD_LIBRARY PATH, CLASSSPATH, PATH, DB2INSTANCE Env. vars. are also pointing to the right location.
Do I need perform additional setup(s) for the BO, for it to connect to the DB2?
Anyone know?

As part of the setup, the instructions recommend sourcing a db2profile from the boe user's .profile. It also has some information on testing the connectivity to the database, and minimum patch requirements.
