Video Drivers for Touchsmart IQ770

Hello,
I'm having difficulties finding the drivers for my HP Touchsmart, I have just upgraded to Windows 7 and none of the video drivers will work
I've already tried over 15 drivers, starting with Win 7 32-bit to Win Vista ones...
My operating system is, as specified above, Windows 7 32-bit and my computer is a Touchsmart IQ770.

Win 7 32bit or 64bit. ??
either way
Search for Nvidia Go6100 or Go7600
Nvidia main site.
Worked for me on the 771 unit I was playing with.

I am keep getting the stop error 0x00000116 failing with a blue screen while im browsing. I have observerd this quite a few times and also I could not find the correct video drivers for my t61 thinkpad in the ibm site. I could see the details as wxp & windows vista but not for win 7. By the way i just use for home computing and my win 7 is upto date wiht no extra software and games installed. I dont play games at all on my t61.

if u search in the baove link ,you cannot find the video drivers for t61 + win 7. You have it only for xp & vista in this section. Intel X3100 (940GML, 945GM, GL960, GM965). there are no video drivers for win 7 for t61. my video card info is

my video card is Intel PM965 chipset . Please help me to get the correct customized version of the video drivers for my thinkpad as I am getting this problem with video drivers and its getting restarted when I am in the middle of something. But it works find after that. I have tried to install drivers from intel and its saying i have customized version of lenovo drivers and I should contact you guys. I triedcomplete win 7 update from windows site and installed all patches and still getting the problem intermitently, but after restart it works fine. No hardware or software changes. Its that I need the correct version of video drivers for win 7. Please inform the lenovo about this and ask them to develop the good video drivers for win 7 + t61 model. Hope you understand my situation.

Are you kidding me ? You dont work for Lenovo and you are an active volunteer here in this forums. I have seen your replied many times and wont get paid by Lenovo, you are really crazy for ur stufee .Anyways thanks a lot for the link and the original lenovo staff were notable to provide the link and you could. Windows 7 video drivers for HDX 9000

I have a HDX 9000T CTO notebook and have noticed that the video drivers in the driver download section have not been updated since January 2008.
Is there going to be an update for windows 7 or do we still use the old version?

check whether youre running the power save mode (or balanced mode) in windows power settings. it is possible that the OS's power saving mode switches your gpu to x1. also check whether you have the latest bios version and check the bios settings.
best would be to run cpu-z (http://www.cpuid.com/download/cpuz/cpuz_152.zip just run the .exe) once while just inside windows and then while inside a game (just alt-tab or alt-escape or press the windows button to get to the desktop). while a game is running it should get up to 16x.

Drivers for touchsmart missing

Hi,
I have the TouchSmart FK532AA IQ512ME. So basically my HDD crashed and i got a new one installed from an HP authorized Service center. Once i got the PC back.. Everything works fine except things like my headphones are not detected by the PC ... It continues to playback audio thru speakers even though headphones are plugged in.
Same goes for microphone.
Also on my keyboard the FN+keys dont respond (like adjusting brightness) even though the keys independently work.
I was told to update all drivers. The HP website does not have all the drivers for this model i believe. How do i get it? I couldnt locate the all the necc drivers and even though i can find them on external websites i don't want to download from an untrusted source for obvious reasons.
Please help !

While I am no expert on that model, I do see drivers for the chipset, graphics, audio, and keyboard listed.
Unless the chipset and graphics drivers are installed, it is unlikely you would be able to adjust the screen brightness.

Video drivers for CQ1505LA (windows 7 starter)

Can anyone please submit a link to download the video drivers (windows 7) for a CQ1505LA PC. The drivers in the HP website point to an AMD video driver, but this motherboard uses an integrated Intel video graphic chip.

ATI Mach64 Video drivers for PowerMac 4400

Hi! I have one of these machines that I just put in an ATI Mach64 PCI video card and was wondering about drivers for this card. Do I need to find and install them or does OSX 8.1 already have them? I am from a Windows world so bear with me. Thanks!

The drivers for cards readily available at the time of 8.1 issue will already be in there. It should work in a basic way regardless. Try it and if you have problems, post more specific information.

That is even an older GPU than the GMA 900.
It is an Intel 82852/82855 GM/GME Graphics Controller.
OK... I have a possible driver you can use for that. No guarantee it will work great but it should work...

Download and unzip the file labeled Intel 82865g Driver (Vista - Win7).
You have to use the manual install method like you did with the other 2.

any advice on when HP might release an Intel video chip driver for Windows 8

Right now, we are qualifiying drivers for recent notebook models. Shortly after the launch of Windows 8, you'll be able to find drivers for those models as well, on HP.com.

In the meantime, Windows 8 should automatically detect and install an appropriate driver for your Intel video processor. It's hard to say, since I do not know which Intel video processor model you have, or which HP notebook you have. But more often than not, it'll work automatically.

If Windows 8 drivers are released for your notebook, they will be posted here.
HP is not going to support hardware for Windows 8 on any system purchased before Oct 1st 2011. Most Windows 7 drivers will work in Windows 8.
Check out this page to see if your computer has been tested by HP with Windows 8.
You can run the Upgrade assistant software, which will scan your PC and generate a report on what is currently installed on your PC is compatible with Windows 8. This upgrade guide for Windows 8 provides a lot of information that is needed for anyone considering upgrading.

How do I updated my video drivers for OS X and BootCamp?

I've been searching for the drivers for over an hour now. I downloaded the official drivers from nvidia.com but it wont install them.
Now, where do I find the latest nvidia drivers for my MBP 2009 for OS X and BootCamp?

If you're running 10.5.8 then you have the latest drivers for Leopard. Apple provides drivers for the GPU, there are no standalone downloads. If Software Update says you have no updates, you're set.

www.nvidia.com? But bear in mind that these drivers likely aren't tested under Bootcamp, so there is the possibility that you may have issues.
Manually updating device drivers is one of the many things I DON'T miss about Windows and can live without...

Video drivers for Notebook

Probing the hardware and BIOS seems to show a much higher resolution than the drivers apparently allow. The maximum resolution from the driver appears to be 1366x768@60Hz. This is an Intel I5 dual core processor with integrated graphics. Are there newer drivers available that will give me better resolution?

How Do I Find My Model Number or Product Number?
Depending on the supported operating systems there may not be specific drivers for Linux, but once I have the full product number I will see what the product page has.
The limit you are seeing may also have more to do with the display and not the capability of the driver, as normally the only options that will show up, are those that the display will support.

Software and Drivers for Touchsmart tx2

Well, my hard drive fried so I was forced to get a new one, but I don't know where to find the drivers and such so that I may re-install them on my Touchsmart tx2 tablet PC. I went an ordered a bare drive.
I have a Touchsmart tx2-1275dx.

No K9VGM-V video drivers for win 7 in live update 5?

Hi!
Since my separate graphics card died I'm trying to get the on-board graphics on my K9VGM-V to work.
I installed live update 5 (LU5), but:
1. LU5 doesn't seem to be able to identify my motherboard (on the "Home" tab in LU5 the row "Motherboard Model" is blank/empty)
2. When doing a manual scan for VGA drivers LU5 says that my driver are the latest, however Win 7 is using the vgapnp.sys-driver from Microsoft and this driver gives me really poor graphics performance (1.0 in the Windows experience index).
How can I get a win 7 video driver that enables me to unlock the graphics capabilities of the on-board graphics of my motherboard?

Still be aware that this integrated gpu is very weak.
It's got to be one the worst integrated graphics ever used in a PC, it rates just above zero compared to any modern card. Just about any cheap card you can buy would be better.
