ok well, i have the same problem like a lot of ppl with the videos. they see the video on the ipod but no sound. i tried converting it, and it did but with no sound.
but i heard something about videora.com well i downloaded the thing, it was advertising but i have no idea how to convert my movies on it
anyone please T_T

You've got to try to figure it out. Look for a ReadMe.txt file that comes with Videora's download/installation. Trust me, it's really not hard.

I hv recently purchased a 30G iPod video. Problem downloading VCD to iTune. I downloaded the Videora which converts to MP4 format but when added on to iTune it could only the music is being converted but not the video.
Call apple support they told me Videora do not merge the music and video files. Do you have this similar problem? Or would you recommend me to another suitable video converter software.

Do the following have free copyright to publish on facebook and U Tube?
1.Garage band sounds?
2.Slide show...Sample music and Theme music?
3.iMovie...iMovie sounds and iLife sounds ie.Medal Ceremony and Memorial etc?
I note one can publish to shared net places directly from iMovie so one assumes these are copyright free for non-profit making and non-comercial use.
It is impossible to contact apple direct.No email address.We put our selves at risk without this knowledge and like applemac, facebook will not communicate direct.Will applemac please take responsibility for copyright/the above that they are all too willing to sell to us but not support us with that knowledge.

Thank you Klaus1.The large font, I copied and pasted from my mail box.I'm visually impaired...not to a huge degree but it helps to use the large font.I believe you are right about the copyright on the imac stuff but if facebook decide otherwise, you have to reply electronically to their challenge.If you can't provide a reference directly from the copyright owner then they remove the video.I believe this is a programmed response and no human is involved which now makes it impossible for me to get my video uploading restored.They detect added soundtrack automatically and then challenge.There are many others in the same boat and facebook will not communicate.They have various discussion sites on which I have left messages including Mark Zuckerbergs own facebook but I don't think anyone from facebook ever reads them.I intend to start a second facebook which I can use purely to get my videos uploaded as a lot of my friends enjoy them BUT don't want fall foul of their programming again.If only iMac would put something on the net to this effect.I think it is so unfair that with modern technology it is impossible to contact these large conglomerates personally and receive an email response.I tried emailing [email protected] but I got a failure notice.If you have any ideas on how to get verification from apple direct, I would be very grateful.Thank You.

News "FLASH"... Nancy O (the legend) ... i need help again

I am trying to put a banner on my website for my exam.... It will have to have an image with logos flashing across and stopping for a few seconds before carrying on.and out the other side. I have looked up everywhere to see how this is done but with no joy. There is lots of info out there but it is not working for me. In Flash i have no problem creating a banner image with various logos moving from one side to the other or even changing the image from one shape to another or bouncing it up and down the stage from one side to the other. I can even stagger the timelines for the logos to make them enter one after the other. The one thing i can not get to grips with is making the images stop or pause after they have entered from one side before exiting the other side. I have followed step by step many youtube tutorials but the authors are wizzing through them too fast and despite folling every step second by second, i am missing a vital step somewhere. Would someone please let me know step by step (and please assume i am an idiot when doing this) the sequence i must follow from the very begining to the last step when i publish.

You'll get better answers in the Flash Forums for whichever Action Script ver you're using.
Sorry. I don't do much Flashy stuff anymore. As far as I'm concerned, when Apple iDevices quit supporting Flash, it became a dying web technology.

I am trying to do a web page and thought of placing 4 video
clips into
1 Loader...viewers can simply choose any of the videos they
would like
to watch...and all the video clips will then play in the same
Loader on
the exact X & Y values...Is it possible?
eg. 4 Buttons with linking to 4 different video clips.
When a video clip selected, play in a Loader of X and Y
values.
When another clip selected, play in the same Loader.

Does this happen to a wired computer or to a wireless computer? If it happens to a wireless computer ONLY but not to a wired computer, a firmware upgrade might not be necessary at all.
Make sure your wireless settings are personalized, try using channel 11 and when you go to advanced wireless settings, try setting the beacon interval to 50 instead of 100.
On how to do the things mentioned in the 2nd paragraph, open up IE and type on the address bar the numbers 192.168.1.1 (username leave it blank, password as a default is admin). Go the the Wireless tab.

Hold down the Option key while you boot your Mac. Then, it should show you a selection of devices. Click your flash drive and it will boot from that.

If you have not done a factory reset on the device, I recommend doing a complete factory reset.
Factory Reset - Warning this will reset device back to original factory settings.
This method will not erase any MDN/MIN information
Turn off the phone
Press Power + Volume Up/Down at the same time and hold until display will show a triage android screen
Display will show:
Reboot system Now
Apply sdcard:update.zip
Wipe Data/Factory Reset
Wipe Cache Partition
Use VOL Down key to scroll down to "Wipe Data/Factory Reset", press home icon to select option and wipe device.
Display shows "All user data will be wiped out", press VOLUME Up to continue or VOLUME Down to exit.
Press Volume Up
Press Home to select "Reset System Now" - device will reboot
If the problem persist I recommend having a store technician take a look at the device.

Lord K. Thank you. Yes I am within the 90 time period, however I travel Intertionally and I can not receive not make a call to Apple. I was just at the Genius Bar in Chicago and they said, don't worry about it. It just floats out there, however, I can not recover my messages on a flash drive. Was the game downloaded via another iTunes account ? All apps (and other content from the store) are tied to the account that downloaded them, so only that account will be able to make in-app purchases in them. If that is the case and you want to be able to do IAPs via the account that you are currently logged in with then you will need to delete the game (which will delete your progress in it) and then download it on your account

Leave the iPhone alone for a minute and go to your PC/Mac. Try and set up the Apple ID on there (again leaving the iPhone to sit and look pretty for a while). Check your emails (not on the iPhone) and see if you are receiving the email into your inbox that way, if you aren't make sure you have put the correct email address in the App store. If you are definitley sure you are putting the correct email address in go to the web interface for your email provider (e.g. hotmail or yahoo) and check the junk mail folders etc.
Do all the above whilst the iPhone is sat around, don't do any of the above on the iPhone. If you manage to crack it and get the email address verified and your account up and running just log in to the App Store on your iPhone once it's all done

This is driving me crazy, I discussed this before and I did manage to get it to work once.
But I don't know how and I can't repeat it.
I need to scale the video clip from one key frame to the next, but every time I change the size at either key frame it changes for the whole clip.
In video 1 I want it to stay at 100% until the first key frame, and then change to 110% gradually until key frame 2 and stay there until the end.
I swore that I was going to figure it out on my own and not bother you guys, but after spending an hour messing with it and searching all the help files I could find I still didn't find anything that describes the process.
What I've done is set both key frames to Bezier then I set the marker on frame 1, but then what?
There doesn't seem to be any activate button, other then the Toggle Animation button, but that doesn't seem to do anything. It just says that it will remove any previous key frames but I don't see anything happen when I click it.
So I move to key frame 2 and I change the scaling on the clip to 110% I click the Animation button since there isn't' anything else to click (I've tried not clicking anything too) and the whole clip changes to 110%.
What is the step by step process to change the size between the key frames .
I just don't know what I'm missing.

Never mind, I finally found the little arrow that changes it from Opacity to Motion!!!
I should have noticed that it said Opacity in the bar, but my eyes aren't that great anymore and it's pretty small.
I go to have eye surgery in a couple of weeks.
Hopefully it will be better after that, but I have my fingers crossed.
My old partner in the graphic design business has vision so bad he can't drive any more.

I'm using PE 12, in Windows 8 64 bit.
I'm trying to not over stress it and it's working better but still a little laggy.
My icons for Effects, transitions, etc. have vanished again, after working for a couple of days.
They actually come and go, I have had them show up and then disappear again.
That's one issue I'd really like to get fixed, but I don't have a clue why it would do that.
I think I've got the motion thing down now, I used in in this video to make the background zoom in when the camera moves in on Lucy.

It adds another capability, I can see different layers moving at different speeds to give the illusion of depth.

Monitor(video) on emac blew up, need help with external monitor....

Hello everyone, I have an old Emac which the monitor popped and stopped working. I bought the plug and had an external older monitor working once, then I plugged in a newer monitor and now neither will work. The xternal monitor has a small blue rectangle bouncing around saying "please check pc display settings. I tried to reset the ram by restarting the Emac and holding down the command,option,p, and r buttons. This made the second restart sound, but the video still does not work. Is there another sequence to reset? Am I doomed now? Any help is appreciated. Thank you.

Hello again, yes it was the picture tube that went. the smell was awful. The machine still runs, but since I plugged the flat screen monitor into it, it will not display either monitor. It was working once with an older monitor, but now it just diplays "adjust pc display settings". I needs to view the emac so I can retrieve my files. I've also tried resetting the pram, but that did not work. What can I do? I'm stuck. Thx.
