"View JNDI tree" link not visible under monitoring tab of myserver?

Hi,
The link "View JNDI tree" as mentioned in chapter 18 of administration guide is
not visibile on my installation of 6.1 beta.
Is there some configuration setting that i need to do to make this link visible.
I am having problems with installation and running of my resource adapter. I wanted
to check whether the JNDI name is registered properly and there i ran into this
problem of no link available.

They moved this into a popup menu that you get to using a right click
in the tree view in the left frame. There are lots and lots of new
admin goodies available by right clicking on nodes of the tree. It
took me a while to discover this myself. :)

I assume you have config/com/training/club/tools/myCustomRepository.properties component. /com/training/club/tools/ is your path of component from config.

Managed Server unreached after view JNDI tree

I have issue with WLS managed server to see if anyone know that
Version WLS 10.3.1.0
I create 11G soa domain , soa_server1 as managed server .
When I open JNDI tree window of soa_server1 , I can see some error mark in eis node , when I close it . I am never able to see the view JNDI tree link ,and state of soa_server1 change to UNKNOW. actually soa_server1 still working
Again , try to use WSLT to browse JNDI of soa_server1

Hi Kyi,
Can you check if that class had been loaded successfully?.
For JRocket :- add "-Xverbose:class,load -Xverboselog:classload.txt" to JVM options.
For Sun :- add "-verbose:class" to JVM options.

I am new to the wbe dynpro. I have an issue.
I am using ALV to Display the selected data. Its displaying Correctly in alv table i have made one field to be link which will navigate to another view.
When i click the link i am getting the following error View of Component Is Not Visible.Navigation Is Not Possible
can any help me to resolve this problem.

In tat view2 iam having the ALV table in this i have link and if i press this link it should navigate to view3.

View of Component Is Not Visible. Navigation Is Not Possible

Hi All,
I have copied Window1 into Window2 and when I try to navigate from view1 to view2 in the copied window(window2),the dump "View of Component Is Not Visible. Navigation Is Not Possible " is thrown.
I have tried recreating the navigation links in the second window as well,but no luck.
Can any one please help me out,this is very uregnt...

Hi Salma,
Are you trying to navigate between the views of 2 different windows? If that's the case then you can proceed as follows:
Create 2 views and 2 windows and assign first view to first window and second view to second window. Also create an [exit plug|http://help.sap.com/saphelp_nw70ehp1/helpdata/en/48/ca3351508f04e7e10000000a42189c/frameset.htm] for window1 with parameter URL of type string.
Note:
when you create windows automatically an interface view will also create with same name.
Now create application1 for window1(nothing but give interface1 ) in the same way create another application and assign corresponding interface view.
Then write your logic in the onAction method of view1,call the exit plug of window1 then pass the URL of second application.

HI, I have a strange issue, where "Info" link is not visible under Providers--> DefaultFileStore.
I can see the Test link, but not Info. Could you please let me know if this is some kind of admin functionality that I was not able to vew this.

HFS+ formated USB Disk not visible under Windows 7

Hello.
I recently purchased an APE and hooked a 4TB HFS+ drive via USB on it. Unfortunately it's not visible under Windows7. Though if I use a Fat32 formatted drive i'm able to access it. I even have macdrive installed. The drive is working properly if connected to the PC or MAC manually.
Please help

FWIW. I currently have an external USB drive (NewerTech miniStack) connected to my 802.11n AirPort Extreme Base Station (AEBSn). I can access it from Windows 7 (Ultimate) from either a dedicated Windows PC or from a Parallels VM running Windows 7 without any issues. The 2 TB drive is formatted in HFS+.
What type of errors are you getting?

Set Application Parameters link not activate under Web Admin Tasks of Admin

In the " How to do currency translation..." paper, there is a statement as following:
"The currency conversion business rules tables can also be activated by going through the web
admin parameters where the following parameter is set to u201C1u201D.

However after I login to BPC Admin consol, I notice that Set Application Parameters link not activate under Web Admin Tasks of Admin Consol.
Where should do this? Should I do it under Set AppSet Parameters?

In the non-web Admin Console, you should also be able to accomplish the same thing by going to the application, clicking "Modify application", then "Change application type", then "Modify Application", then choosing the "Currency Conversion" application option.
In general, this is how business rules can be turned on without messing around in the application parameters, and should really be the preferred method unless you have done some kind of customization that an application modification will interfere with.

Books on iPad not shown under iPad tab in iTunes

For some reason existing ebooks on my iPad mini are not visible under the "Books" sidebar entry inside iTunes, under the "On This iPad" tab. I can add books to iBooks on the iPad by dragging them to the iPad icon inside iTunes, and the books transfer OK; they simply are not shown in the list in iTunes. I have another iPad which works fine, i.e. books on the iPad shows up in the list; same with an iPhone which works correctly. Alldevices have synch switched off so I manually add books (and music; music list works fine on all of them so it is only books having the problem).
This is frustrating since it means I cannot remove books from the iPad using iTunes. Deleting all the books on the iPad (by doing it inside the iBooks app on it), deleting the iBooks app itself, rebooting, and then re-adding books does not help. Also, the iPad in questio was recently reset using an iCloud backup which did not change the situation.
So any ideas why my iTunes insists there are no books on this particular iPad, even though iTunes happily transfers them?

Firstly, make sure that your device is not hidden (left hand pane). If it just reads device then toggle between SHOW and HIDE.
Secondly, try all the other ports on your computer, even a number of times.
Thirdly, if you have another computer try plugging your device into it without taking any action, give it a moment, remove it and try it back in your other computer again.

And failing all that put the device into Recovery mode. See here and note the paragraph 'If you restore from a different computer.... ' down near the bottom of the page -

Hi,
In PR Price will appear under Valuation tab of Item details.
This Price populates from Materail Master. If it is Standard Price it will appear. If it is Moving average price and PR is created for the first time you ahve to enter.
Sicne the MAP is updated after the GR is done.

we have installed ECC6.0EhP4 ABAP and Netweaver BI7.0EhP1 ABAP,with AIX6.1,Oracle11G, I am trying to make connectivity between two system
its done successfully,But I am facing following error
1.in BI and ECC i am seeing source system and BI system under BI tab, its not coming under SAP tab,and BI consultant saying they are not able to extract the data from ECC ,they want source system Under SAP tab,how to solve this
2.In BI system they unable to execute the query ( I have applied GUI7.20 BI patch and Query patch) for this do we need JAVA stack?? kindly advice me

Folder Structure Not Visible under Content Administration

Hi all,
We have EP 6.0 SP13.The Folder structure(Both Business objects and Portal Content) under Content Administration and Folder structure under System Administration is not visible.I have logged in as Administrator and the roles assigned were:
com.sap.pct.crm.crm_default_services
Administrator
ContentManager
eu_role
super_admin_role
When i'm trying to access the portal content,Loading...is dispalyed in Content Area for a while and a message 'error occured' is displayed in the status bar instead of 'Done'.
I'm also having a problem in Detailed Navigation.Nothing is visible under Detailed Navigation.
Any Inputs on the above issues would be of great Help.

Hi,
There could be only 2 problems when PCD objects are not being shown.
1) You don't have the permission to view it. But since you are an administrator, you don't have to worry about it.
2) The browser is unable to show the PCD objects.
Now lets look at the solution:
I had faced the same issues where when I tried to access the portal using IP address, PCD objects will not show. So the solution is to access the portal through its "name" rather than the IP address.
I guess you would have tried to access the portal by its name, then you had faced an error in browser and so you are trying to access the portal by IP address.
if this is true, make an entry in the hosts file in your local machine, mapping the IP address to the domain name.
If you dont know how to do it, please follow the following:
Goto the following folder in windows
C:\WINDOWS\system32\drivers\etc\
You will find a file named hosts. Open it in notepad and give the IP address & domain name of the portal in the format specified there. Save the file. Now if you access the portal using its domain name, you should be able to see the PCD. If you are still not getting it, restart the machine and try once more. It should work.
If you are using a Linux system, the file can be found under the \etc under the root folder.

Personalize link not visible in MastHead area..

Hi Peter,
check the masthead par file....and enable the personalize link in the par file....
then deploye it again to the potal server
and add this par file to the standard user role under the content provided by sap....
now log off and log in again.......
