Viewing Picasa albums in Apple TV ?
Does anyone know a " work around " to enable viewing Picasa albums in Apple TV ?
Am new user of ATV. Have 180 Picasa Albums.
I see people are able to host digital imagery from iTunes in ATV.
I have the app " Web Albums " that does great job hosting Picasa Albums on iPhone.
Will it be possible in the near future to host Picasa Albums on ATV ?

View as Album List was a great feature. Based on comments I have seen on other forums, I am not the only one who thinks so. Please restore this feature. Reasons:1) Images are much easier to see than text. I have reached the age of reading glasses. Before this feature was removed, I could easily find songs / albums in playlists. Now I have to find my glasses beforehand! 2) Images are much more compelling and attractive than text. A picture tells a thousand words etc. The whole look and feel of Spotify is enhanced through the use of album images. Removing them seems like going against good user experience practice. 3) Nostalgia. Although I love Spotify and I firmly believe that subscription is the future of music, I still feel some nostalgia for "possessing" a collection of albums. Displaying album covers reinforces the feeling of having a collection of albums in a playlist. Note that all three arguments apply equally to desktop and iPad versions of Spotify. November 2013: Response to the comments from Spotify...- There is no need for a cmd+G control. All playlists should always display the album cover.- The Collections product was announced almost a year ago but there is no sign of it.- A Collections product that simply displays the thousands of albums that I have ever listened to is not a viable solution in my opinion. I would need multiple collections (i.e.. playlists). Again - We shouldn't have to vote about stuff like this. Of course there should be an album list. And it should also be obvious how to enable it, not just with a keyboard command or obscure menu option. Also - please consider an album view in the mobile apps as well. I have a lot of playlists with just albums, and they are a pain in the ass to use on the Iphone / Ipad.

Before downloading the latest version of I-Tunes, I used to be able to view the ALBUM ARTWORK at bottom left when clicking on a song.
I am now unable to see the artwork.
Is it no longer possible with the updated software ??Correct, Apple have removed that feature. However, you can still see the artwork of the song that's playing; it's shown in the Now Playing indicator at the top of the iTunes window. It is small, but if you click on it, a larger version pops up.
Also, in Albums View, you can see the album artwork. -

Hi. I am having an issue with music on my IPod. It would probably be easier to explain my specific issue: I have songs by Band of Horses from Cease to Begin. When viewing my albums through cover flow, it shows Cease To Begin as two separate albums, one with only Islands on the Coast, and the other having Islands on the Coast with 3 other songs. If I delete the album with only one song from my IPod, it deletes the song from the other "album" as well. If I go to "All Songs" by Band of Horses, it only shows one Islands on the Coast, so it is not a duplicate issue. Also, in Itunes, it only shows one album. I just recently updated to iOS5 on my 4th Gen IPod Touch, if that helps.

One more reason to put my iMAC at the curb. I can open and view Picasa photo links when I sign in via Google, but if I'm in Mail and click on the Picasa image link (my own or one someone else sends me) I can't view the images. They are all blank white squares. This started a few weeks ago. Why can't I view Picasa link images through Mail?
What you are experiencing is 100% related to Malware.

I have an external server that stores all my movies and music, is there a way to stream it to my apple tv?
If not is there a way I can link the folders to itunes (without downloading files to computer) that will make them view-able for the apple TV?
If none of that works is there a way to get it working alternativly?
Additional Information:
Everything is linked via ethernet cable.
I'm using a PC to set it up.

Thank you for any help(I think the daughter got he better end of the deal!) I believe if you change the password and user id one of the devices it will stop that from occurring. But I'm not the one to tell you how to do it; someone like "Illaass" (Illaass seems to know how to correct / fix almost anything!) will know how if you don't. Just look for the "cat" icon.

I rented a movie a few hours ago and never finished it. I can't view it on my Apple TV nor on my Computer. When I go to rent it again it says you have already rented this movie, but I can't find it anywhere. How do I watch the remainder of the rental?
I had the same issue with my apple tv 3rd generation. I rented Sinister and selected the "rent and watch now" option. Half way through the movie I accidentally pressed the menu button. When I looked for the rented movie on my apple tv I could not find it. Not even above the movie pannel where "purchased" and "top movies" comes up on the main menu. the apple tv suggests to go to settings>downloads but I don't have that option. I did go to settings> itunes store> check rentals but that didnt work either. It took too long to even check. Thank you because this SOLUTION worked great.
SOLUTION: How to reset apple tv 3 3rd generation to view rented movies:on the apple tv remote: press and hold "menu" to go to the main menu. Select SETTINGS> GENERAL >RESET >RESET ALL SETTINGS. After the apple tv resets, input all your information again and your rented movies should be visible when you cruise above the "movies" section. THANK YOU!!
Apple needs to solve this issue because honestly it took me 3 hours and a half to watch a movie that only lasted 2 BECAUSE I wast trying to solve the issue, reseting and all. blahh. -
When I search a music artist in the itunes store and then click to view all albums the screen is blank. Why is itunes store not showing me all of the Albums?
This can be a problem with the file places.sqlite that stores the bookmarks and the history.

Why my tracks are not shown in Album view and Artist view, only Album Artworks are shown???

I have not have this problem in the previous version of iTune. As soon as i upgraded it to iTunes 11, it happens.
The problem in here is all my songs, tracks are still here, i can see all of them in "songs view". However, when i change the view to Album View, and click into the Album artwork, there is no track there. When i double click into the Album Artwork, the first song of the album will be played normally.
Same story to the Artist View. Only the Album Artworks are shown and the rest is completely blank.
I have absolutely no idea what is going on here and obviously i am not satisfy with this new version.
Is there any way for me to fix this problem? Please help!
Otherwise i will need to use other software for music playing.

I cannot view/sync albums from iPhoto on my iPhone whilst iCloud photo library (beta) is on. Why? and is there a way of doing it. It is especially frustrating given I have subscribed to more space yet I have to turn it off to view!
I found the answer in another discussion group, so I have just erased everything through settings on my new iphone and in Backups on itunes, I have clicked on restore back up. So it appears to be working.

Show or view multiple album art for one song on iPhone 4?
Is it possible to show or view multiple album artwork for one song on an iPhone 4, especially on the now playing screen? I figured since iTunes has this feature then the iPhone should too. Can I download an app that does this? I've searched but couldn't find any, maybe I'm using other keywords. Could anyone point me in the right direction with this?
Darn. I hope an app is designed to be able to do this soon. From what I've seen this feature isn't really in demand so it could take a while. Thanks for replying.
