VPN Issue: Could not Negotiate a connection with the remote PPP server

Hello Folks,
I setup VPN on Windows Server 2003 Enterprise R2. I am successfully able to connect to VPN via laptop internally and externally. However, on my iPhone I am not able to connect and receiving the following error "Could not Negotiate a connection with the remote PPP server".
There doesnt seem to be a lot of documentation regarding this on Apple and or throughout the web.
Anyone resolve this issue?

I am not entirely sure my full setup. I had a friend help me set it up. Now for some reason when on WIFI on my own network I am able to connect to VPN ( I wasnt able to before), but when I switch to edge there is still no response for the PPP server. I even messed around with the PPP options still no response. Unfortunately I am not extremely server literate so my troubleshooting is limited. However it is now working via my own WIFI and will try it on another WIFI network tomorrow. I am wondering though if it connecting had to do with any updates from microsoft. Since this is a newly installed server 2003 it has been running updates. Some food for thought.

Could not establish secure connection with server

Hi ,
We are not able to access our web service URL from Ipad Application on some of the network. We are receiving “could not establish secure connection with the server” message. Editing the hosts file is easy. just need to use the CAS/CAM CLI and the vi test editor. You can google for instructions on how to use Vi.
To start assume we have a CAM and CAS with the hostname cam1 and cas1 respectively. the domain is mycompany.com and the ip addresses for the CAM and CAS is 192.168.10.1 and 192.168.15.2 respectively.
start with the CAM and view the hosts table
cat /etc/hosts
To check what domain u used to setup the CAM
cat /etc/resolver.conf
edit the hosts file so appears like so
192.168.10.1 cam1.mycompany.com cam1
192.168.15.2 cas1.mycompany.com cas1
Verify with 'cat /etc/hosts'
Make sure you can ping 'cas1' and 'cas1.mycompany.com' from cam1
Next edit the hosts file for cas1 so that it appears like so
192.168.15.2 cas1.mycompany.com cas1
192.168.10.1 cam1.mycompany.com cam1
Make sure you can ping 'cam1' and 'cam1.mycompany.com' from cas1

When starting weblogic server I obtain the following error message when the conection
pool for a MySql database should be established. What's the mistake I am doing? #The
examples in the weblogic.properties put a "server=DEMO to the props. What is this
server related to the MySql RDBMS? Is it mandatory? After the error message produced

IP/TV "Could not create RTSP connection with Program manager"

Hello,
When we try to view IP/TV content with the IP/TV viewer we are able to but when we try to view it through a webpage I recieve the error:
"Could not create RTSP connection with Program manager"
I have no idea what the problem is. Anyone have any input?

I'm trying to load video file into CS6 I keep getting error message: 'Could not complete you request because the DynamicLink Media Server is not available.' No Idea what to do next. Help please.

I'm using CS6 Extended. My OS is "Windows 7 home premium.
Can no longer load video files into CS6 for edited I keep getting error message:

Unable to connect to the remote ftp server using dreamweaver.

For the last one week I have been trying to connect to the remote ftp server using dreamweaver. I spoke to the technical support agency who manage our remote server but they are saying that there is no problem with the server adn they dont know anythign about dreamweaver so cant assist me.
I was suggested to check with adobe team directly and i spoke to a technical support person on the live chat but they said since the version is CS4 - education version, they cant assist me at all!! This is just ridiculous...I am constantly being sent from one place to the other without anything getting resolved!!

I am having a similar problem... maybe. I was connected to my remote site all day yesterday, then out of the blue I tried to "put" an edited file... as I had been doing all day, and I received an FTP error: Cannot make connection to host. Your login or password is incorrect. That's odd, I've been connecting all day. So I went into my sites > manage sites and clicked the Test button on my remote server information and it returned Adboe Dreamweaver CS connected to your webserver successfully. I went back to my file and tried once more to "put" it on the remote server... again FTP Error: cannot make connect to host... So I reboot my computer and start Dreamweaver CS3 again. I reenter my remoter server information and click the Test button. "... connect to your webserver successfully". I try to put any file, FTP error again. So I call my server administrator, he checks the servers logs and says there are no errors and you've connected successfully several times today. I went through the trouble shooting steps listed here, though my FTP Logs are empty. I cannot stay connected or even see the remote folders to try to drag and drop. I tried to run ftp from a windows command prompt and it seems to connect me.
I downloaded an installed an SFTP client and was able to successfully connect to my remote server and upload the files. It's definately a Dreamweaver problem. Any suggestions?

I got a Windows Server 2008R2 terminal server with Office 2010 and Powerpivot installed. I have an issue for some users, not every user get this error. When trying to add the Powerpivot add-in in Excel the following error message is displayed:

I have checked the path and I found nothing. I could understand the problem if all users got this error but it's online a handfew of users. Other users can add the add-in in Excel without any issue. All the users are in the same domain and they use the one
and only terminal server on the site.
Any advice? I've searched the web but haven't found anything.

issue:
Symptoms
1. Power Pivot SQL 2012 32-bit installed over the old version without
deinstalling it
2. Installed with a user with administrator rights
3. It worked under the profile with admin rights, it didn't work under the
normal users w/o admin rights and threw this error message: Downloading file.///c:/Program files (x86)/Microsoft analysis services/AS Excel Client/10/Microsoft.AnalysisServices.XLHost.Addin.VSTO
did not succeed.
4. In the admin profile, it went to the path "110": C:/Program

Analysis
IMHO the issue lies in the fact, that the Power Pivot
installer creates two problems:
The first issue is that the path to the add-in under
the NORMAL user is simply wrong and points to a wrong location (the
"10" in the path). In the admin profile, where it was originally
installed, it points to the "110" path which is correct.
The second issue is that the installation procedure
somehow needs to create a registry key (the one under point 4 in the solution)
to complete it self and if this key already exists it fails to install and
throws up weird error messages. If you delete or rename this key, it is created
again (exactly in the same way) but then everything works out.

Documents not Opening, No connectivity with the server

Morning,
Strange problem we are encountering that seems to be with a specific image build we have of Windows 7 Enterprise x64, with and without Service Pack 1 using IE8 x32 and Office 2010 x64. When we try to open Word, Excel, or specifically PowerPoint documents
on our new SharePoint 2010 server we get the following error: No connectivity with the server.

A "normal" install of Windows 7 Enterprise x64, with no custom configuration (but getting the domain group policies) can view the files on SharePoint 2010, no problems. Unfortunately, we've already deployed the "odd" image out to 50+
machines.
We have tried resetting Internet Explorer, uninstalling Office 2010 x64 and installing Office 2010 x32 with no luck.
What is really going on? Is it a SharePoint plugin that isn't installed? Is it Internet Explorer isn't configured correctly, or has DLLs that aren't registered? Or something with Office 2010? Is there a way to capture more than this
Error Message? This is what pretty much stamps in the Event Viewer too...

This may be related to the Network and Sharing Center stating the computer is not connected to any network, and the Windows Firewall stating it is on a Public Network. Even though the machine is connected and running on the LAN.
I added SERVICE with full control (and pushed it down to registry subkeys) on HKLM\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Windows NT\CurrentVersion\NetworkList. Then I Enabled/Disabled the LAN Adapter. Could also reboot, or physically unplug the cable. Not
sure if restarting a specific service would accomplish the same thing or not.
In the Network and Sharing Center it came up as on the domain. Windows Firewall came up as being on a Domain. And I was able to open PowerPoint and Excel documents on the SharePoint site.
So for now, looks like this is fixed.

I could not able to connect with INTERNAL, says ORA-1017 invalid username/password,

PLZ Help...
I could not able to connecct as INTERNAL.
Some days ago I got connected gracefully.
But now what has happedned it is no more connecting as INTERNAL.
But can connect as SYS and SYSTEM gracefully in one attemt.

check the listener status in server end,
lsnrctl status
lsnrctl servicesif not start
lsnrctl startThanks
