VS2012 SSRS Project - Intellisense problem while editing dataset

Environment: VS2012 with SSDT, Reporting Services project
When editing the dataset query (which is T-SQL code) of any report and I try to type
table.field, when I reach the period (.) character Intellisense pops up with Equals & ReferenceEquals, and interferes with completing the
table.field statement.
This is while editing in: Datasets>Mydataset>Dataset Properties>Query>Expression
Its extremely annoying and unnecessary to have to correct the unhelpful and ignorant autocomplete of Intellisense.
Turning off Intellisense in Tools>Options>Text Editor>SQL Server Tools>Intellisense has no effect.
Is there a way to:
1) Inform Intellisense to NOT try to insert non-SQL code, or
2) Turn off Intellisense in the Expression window?

In Reporting Services, when we type a dot behind alphabets or square brackets in Expression dialog box, it automatically pops up a list begin with “Equals”. This is by design.
To work around this issue, we can directly write T-SQL query commands in Query pane or Query Designer pane of Dataset Properties dialog box. In this way, it wouldn’t pops up any character for auto IntelliSense.

I am trying to edit a binary file using Java.The file contain a string that I have to replace with some other string.For exanple let us assume following is the content of the file -

Here, I have to replace this ABC(a string) with some other string.Now,if the replace string length is more than 3(the length of exiting string) then, the binary file is generating some blank space at the end.

Okay. So was that code you posted supposed to be a failed answer to the question, and you need help with fixing it? Because to me it just looks like code which copies a file, with random modifications. It doesn't look for ABC in any way, it uses the magic number "5" for no apparent reason, and the other modifications are buggy too. So clarification of what the code is supposed to be would be helpful.

I uplodaed a text file which is tab delimeted, to the application server using transaction code cg3z directly. now that file is stored with # in place of tab(space) in application server.
my broblem is that when i am reading that file using READ DATASET its comming with that # symbol also.
how i split that dataset .
or if there is any other solution ,like openning file into another mode,

you can access the Tab character using CL_CHAR_ABAP_UTILITIES=>HORIZONTAL_TAB
Do like this After READ DATASET.
DATA : V_RECORD(100).
DO.
READ DATASET P_FILE INTO V_RECORD.
IF SY-SUBRC <> 0.
EXIT.
ENDIF.
SPLIT V_RECORD INTO FIELD1 FIELD2 SEPARATED BY CL_CHAR_ABAP_UTILITIES=>HORIZONTAL_TAB.

PREMIERE PRO CS5.5 Gamma problem while exporting project to mjpeg A or B

Dear Sir,
I'm in a big ****. I've directed and edited 1h documentary for Finnish television, also, the technical specs requested by the TV Channel is all production Broadcast masters must be encoded with Apple ProRES codec or MJPEG A or B.
As i'm working on PC (win7), the ProRES codec doesn't exist on PC system, so i've done the export to MJPEG. The problem is i have a different gamma level when i watch the final export with Quicktime or VLC. Of course i can adjust the level in those players, but it doesnt effect the file. When i import the Qt file into a Premiere sequence, the gamma level is still **** and different from my original level i have from my timeline and preview window. If i export the project to H264 1920x1080p25, then the gamma is perfect with Qt, VLC and WinMedia player. But the TV station don't wanna work with H264. Deadline is on next monday, and i can't send a Qt MJPEG file with wrong gamma !!!Any chance to find a solution to fix it ??? After reading different forum, i can see this problem exist since many years and never been solved.
What can i do ??

If it were me, I wouldn't encode to MJPEG.
So as to encode to ProRes on Windows you can utilise any solution based on ffmpeg/ffmbc or better yet find a Mac with Final Cut or Compressor installed for delivering critical work.

I am facing problem while assigning multiple staffing to project role.
In the project role, we are doing staffing ( assigning BP). While assigning the BP's getting below errors.
Resource assignments overlap
Message no. DPR_BUPA_LINK004
Diagnosis
The validity period '10.02.2008'-'01.03.2008' for the assignment of project role Product Manager and ' Rakesh Pradhan' overlaps with the validity period of the assignment ''.
However, the project role type does not allow several staffings to be edited at the same time in the project role.
System Response
The system does not allow this constellation of data when saving.
Procedure
Check and correct the start and finish dates of the staffings affected.
Request you to advise in fiixng the issue.

Hi Biplab,
For multiple staffings in the same time frame, check the option of 'Edit in Parallel' in the Role Type settings in SPRO.

Problem while creating CAF project in NWDS workspace

We are facing a problem while creating CAF project in NWDS workspace. Even though we have tried in new workspace we are facing the issue. Find the below build error.
We are not getting any error when we build from CBS.

This is a Maintenance View, not a Database View
SO can't fetch data using select statement.
You can use the Table T685 directly to fetch the condition Types data straight away instead of the view. write the same select for this table and use.

How to install SSRS project on another server where there is no SSDT?

I have a developer environment with SSDT and My SSRS project.
How do I install the whole project with Shared Dataset, shared DataSource, Reports to another server, where doesn't SSDT?
P.s. I can't connect to client server with my visual studio from my developer environment.

What exactly do you mean with "install project"? Do you mean to deploy created reports? You can e.g. manually upload the report files (.RDL) via Report Manager UI. Or do you mean to edit the project on an other machine? Then you have to install SSDT or at
least Report Builder 3.0.

How do I stop breaks or stutters in the audio file from occurring while editing?

I am using Captivate 8 but I saw this same problem in Cap7. My narrator recorded the audio while recording the video. He did not record to each slide independently, but instead allowed the software to break the narration at mouse clicks. As the editor, I am cleaning up the audio/video and every time I try to edit the audio it causes a stutter (a small silent section) at some other point in the audio file.
For Example: The mouse click occurred in the middle of a word, I re-position this frame break, a small gap is created in the middle of a word someplace else in the audio.
Any editing, even something as simple as changing the volume of the project through the Audio>Edit>Project option, can cause one or more of these brief silences somewhere in the audio. I have tried inserting silence before re-positioning a frame break, but that doesn't solve the problem. Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated. This is taking 10 times longer than it should to do some simple editing.

How to get rid of annoying tool tips while editing SQL files

I'm using Visual Studio 2013 to edit an .SQL file and I have attached the editor to a local SQL Server 2008 R2 database.
While editing the string that is passed to a sp_executesql procedure it keeps popping up a tool tip saying:
"Parameter help is not supported for extended stored procedures"
Generally I don't care about that and it is annoying because it keeps appearing over the top of the text I want to read. Is there any way to stop Visual Studio doing this?

Could you share us more information about this issue? You said that you edit the .sql file, which kind of app did you create which would use the .SQL file? Whether it is related to the SQL Server database project or others?

In SQL Server, it seems that it is related to the IntelliSense, I'm not very sure that whether it is related to the IntelliSense of VS IDE, but generally we could enable or disable IntelliSense under TOOLS->Option->Text Editor in VS
IDE.
Maybe you could disable IntelliSense in VS IDE, and then check it again.

Performance while editing

I haven't had any performance problems with FCP X up until today. All of a sudden the cursor started moving jerkily nad I get a messge that my hard drive may not be fast enough. I have two external hard drives, both Firewire, and one of them was getting pretty full so I archived most of the projects that were on there and freed up lots of space. Stilll got the jerky action and the warning.
I decided to swiitch to the other Firewire drive where I had a copy of my project and got the same reaction: jerky movement of the cursor and the warning. This convinced me it was not the fullness of the drive or the drive itself that was causing the problem.
I have a 27in iMac purched mid 2011, running Lion 10.7.3, with 8 GB Ram and a 250 GB Flash drive for the system, so it's not the age of the computer or it's capacity. Do you think it could be trouble with some system controller or other operating system software/hardware?

1 --- DONT display Video Thumbs on the timeline nor wave forms.
2 --- Zoom out Max on timeline. Before hitting play. The more you are zoomed in, the worse the performance
3 --- Make sure you only have a few timelines(Projects) open at once. (Dont ask me how to close them once the have been opened, I DONT know and neither does the manual. Quit FCP X to close out of all timelines.
4) Use Proxy Files
5) Run ONLY FCP X on the Mac while editing
6) Kill Spotlight on Video Disk
7) Kill File Sharing and Internet Access AND BLUETOOTH (Latter is a killer)
8) I know it *****... But reboot the Mac every 30 Minutes. Only thing that helps.
9) IF you display is larger than 24Inchs.. DONT make the app window as larger as the display is capable of.
The bigger the window the worse the performance.
I am on a 30 Inch Cinema Display and it is a horror ;-)
Still FCP X is about the most amazing piece of software I have ever encountered !!!

Problem while binding variable progmatically shared variable in RT

I have a problem while programaticaly binding the shared variable from RT controller.
The application scenario is as follows
I have three cFP controllers and two
server PCs in my application. Servers are implemented with Redundancy. If server
1 fails, server 2 will take care and vice versa. The cFP controller program is
intelligent enough to detect this switching and identify the active server.
I am using shared variable
communication for transferring the data between cFP and Active Server. This I am
achieving by binding the cFP variable to Server variables. I can bind server
variables to cFP variables also. But I have some advantage with first one rather
than second one.
Now, cFP Variable to Server Variable
binding I can do in two ways.
Right click the variable in Project
Explorer and select the network URL.
Other method is by programmatic
binding.
Now Programatic binding should be
done in cFP controller since cFP controller should bind to second server
whenever it detects switching.
For this, I tried with
SharedVariableIO property node like in the below attached diagram 1.
But I was getting a deployment error
shown in attached diagram 2.
The second method I tried is by
transferring a shared variable library cFP Library.lvlib to cFP through FTP and
opening the Library variable reference and by using the variable property node.
This way of binding was successful when I run from windows PC. But in RT
controller, it was giving me Error 1 while opening a
library.
I am attaching the code with this post
Summary of the problem is I am not able to progmatically bind variables from
RT Controllers
Kindly help me in solving this
problem.
