VSCO cam unable to provide action extension right inside of photos app on my iPhone 4s

Recently, I decided to check out VSCO cam on my iPhone 4s. The app worked fine on my device but I was little bit shocked when I was editing a photo and I noticed there was no extensions button at the top left corner of the screen.
and I remember Apple's Craig Federighi demonstrated the waterlog action extensions (VSCO cam was also there) right inside of photos app at WWDC.
So, I wanna know what kind of problem is this and is this happening with just my device?
and is there any way or how to get the action extension of VSCO cam right inside of photos app like it was demonstrated at WWDC

Unfortunatley 5 GB is not necessarily a lot of space. What you should do is FIRST go into iCloud and choose what information you want turned on.
Settings >iCloud
Here you should see different Tabs that will let you select what you want to back up on your device. You have the option to back up the following data on your phone:
Mail
Contacts
Calendars
Reminders
Safari
Notes
Passbook
Photo Stream
Documents & Data
Find My iPhone
If you turn off some of these options you should free up some of your space.
Once you have backed up your device in iCloud, you can place your device in Recovery Mode in iTunes so it can be recognized.
To put phone in recovery mode: Hold down home button and power button at top of phone at the same time. Once you see the Apple on the device, CONTINUE to hold down the Home button. Plug your phone into iTunes. Do not let the Home button go until you see a message in iTunes stating that a device has been detected in recovery mode.

This is really a two part question:
1. Is there a way to get the Photo app to show the file name?
2. Is there a way to get the movie files on my SD card to show in the Video app?

I face the same issue. This isn't a solution, hopefully someone can help with an app. The photos app sorts by file date, not alphabetically. So, on a computer, if you sort those files by date and make a list, you could then use that list to have a better chance of importing the right movie when you want to watch it.
I have kind of the same situation as you. A couple of large SD cards with video files on them that I don't have room to keep on the iPad. What I ended up doing was I found a program that allowed me to edit the creation date and time for the file, and once all those were the same, the ipad then defaulted to alphabetical and I could then have a list and count down, find the 5th file, import it and have it be what I wanted.
So not the solution you're looking for, here's hoping someone has one for you, but a different work around if things don't pan out. I also be interested in an app that allowed me to see the file names.

Compatibility extension for new Mac photos app?

Having just updated iPhotos to the photos app on my Macbook pro, I've just discovered there's no drag and drop function any more into both Lightroom and PS. According to the Apple forum, it requires an extension from the third party, i.e.. Adobe to make this work again. Does anyone have any idea when Adobe might be sorting this problem out?

So... I don't want to do that, but I do what to be able to Manage my music. I'm not sure what it means by being synced to another iTunes unless it means to an older version of itunes?

I cannot address the sync services error right now, but the error that you receive when you change from sync to manually manage music is what happens when you change. Once you change to manually manage music, it erases all of the music and will only put the music that you want on the phone, content that you manually drag over to it. Unable to alter the process. Unable to execute action start and stop

I have setup a UCM CMS server on Linux. In the UCM instaance I setup If I go to Admin Server, the Genral configuration page contains no entry. While the file Config.cfg present in the directory Oracle/UCM/Server/Config/ contains all the entries I provided during the setup.
Now when I am trying to start/stop the UCM instance, it is giving me error " Request Failed : Unable to alter the process. Unable to execute action 'stop' on server 'EBIZ_UCM'." While If I try to restart the server using IdcServer present at the location Oracle/UCM/Server/bin/, it is getting started.
While clicking on the Component Manager, its giving error like :
" Unable to retrieve component data. Components.hda exists, but contains no data. ".
Please suggest.

I know this is an old thread, but I ran across this while having a similar problem. It turned out that I had started the admin server incorrectly (e.g. running /apps/oracle/ucm/server/admin/bin/IdcAdmin instead of /apps/oracle/ucm/server/admin/etc/idcadmin_start). Once I corrected that the problem went away.

I need to have an authorization policy on Access Manager that perform
a redirect to an url that changes based on user information.
I have taken a look to the Novell Access Manager Developer Kit. Anyway,
it looks like I can only define permit and deny action without a
destination url. Is it true?
Does exist a way to redirect the user to a specific url from an action
extension?

Appraisals having error "Unable to lock action log, Please try again"

We have some appraisal issues wherein most of the appraisal docs under certain appraisers cannot be opened. We are receiving error "Unable to lock action log, Please try again". Would anyone have an idea where to look in order for us to fix this problem?

IPhoto suddenly quit while importing photos from camera unable to import photos from camera

iPhoto suddenly quit while importing photos from camera unable to import photos from camera that were imported before iPhoto quit. Photos are still on the camera however iPhoto only "sees" the photos that were not imported on this computer. I can connect to my other mac and see all the photos. I am using a MacBook Pro OS 10.9.2, iPhoto 9.5.1 connected via usb to a Canon G12. I have had this issue before when importing photos. I can work around by using my other Mac and download the photos. I believe that there maybe a setting on the Mac that prevents duplicating photo downloads that may be preventing me from seeing these photos stored in the camera memory although I can view them on the camera.

Allow Camera Manufacturers to provide their own Camera "Profile"

I recently bought a Nikon D5000 DSLR and noticed that very often, the jpeg Foto Files created by the camera are ***much*** better rendered than the RAW/NEF Foto Files, as rendered by Lr. This is true both with Lr 2 and with Lr 3.
For this reason, for my Nikon D5000 Photos, I use/edit only very seldom the RAW/NEF Photo files and use/edit most of the time the Jpeg Foto Files. This is somehow a pitty.
It is therefore my impression, that Adobe should allow (and motivate!) the camera manufacturers to provide for Lr (and for Adobe Camera Raw) their own Camera Profiles, which would render RAW Files as well as they (=the camera manufacurer) render their jpeg files.
Such an enhancement would allow me (and other users) to benefit more from the combined use of two excellent products: my excellent camera and the excellent Lr Software. It is my impression that such an enhancement woulde also be benefitial for Camera Manufacturers (e.g. Nikon will be happy to know, that their customers can benefit more from Lr) and would also be benefitial for Adobe (Adobe will be happy to know, that those users who bought a brand-X camera can achieve for their camera with Lr the best RAW rendering).
Adobe could leave it to each camera manufacturer, to decide if they prefer to sell or to give-away their Lr camera profile.
Notice: I am not a Lr expert and do therefore not know how easy or how difficult it will be to provide such an enhancement. But as a non-expert, I have the impression that since it is today possible for a user to define and use his own Lr Presets, it should also be possible to define and use Camera profiles that are not defined by Adobe. ....Perhaps, what I am looking for, could be achieved with some kind of Presets that will be provided by the camera manufacturers.

It is possible that the screen is too wide or too high and that the scroll bars fall off.<br />
Open the system menu via Alt+Space and see if you can resize that window.<br />
If that works then close Firefox to save that setting.<br />

By setting <defaultProxy useDefaultCredentials="true" /> in appconfig, I got rid of the above error. And now its working fine with .net(C#) client.

IOS 8: del.icio.us service in the Action Extensions pane?

I am an old time user of the del.icio.us online bookmark service (remember them!) and have been starved of it's services since switching to Safari. There are offerings but on iOS not so.
Only just recently did it dawn on me that one could be made compatible with Safari now iOS 8 allows for extensions in the "Action Extension" menu and was wondering (not being a developer myself) if del.icio.us could be made to work here?
The thing is all of the existing options appear to be a single click affair, while adding a webpage to the del.icio.us service requires input in the way of Tags from the user (either written or selected) and am unsure if it could be possible?

Unable to view camera roll in photos app

Trying to view camera roll in "photos app" and the greyed area and title "Albums" is covering up, over top of the Camera Roll area so I cannot select it to view it?
I can view the camera roll in my camera app no problem but not in the Photos app that came with Iphone 4. any suggestions?

Try rebooting the phone by pressing and holding the on/off and home buttons simultaneously until the screen goes blank and you see the apple logo. It should take about 10-15 seconds to reboot.
