WAD Problem: data below 6th level of Hierarchy is not displaying.

Hello Experts,
I am executing a template in the portal and while giving selections for particular 'cost element' in the selection screen, the message is coming saying no records available.
There are 9 levels of hierarchy and up to 6 levels the data is coming properly but for the remaining three levels the data is not coming although records are present for the other three levels as well. While the same query with same selection is working fine in RSRT/ Analyzer.
Please help me out.
I am new to WAD also please let me know if there is any settings for dispalying hier. node in WAD.
Thanks in advance.

If you just want to display the Hierarchy Level (not filter or sort by it), try just turning on the display of the attribute on the query and/or report, instead of making it a navigational attribute.
Hope this helps...

  • HANA level based Hierarchy is not displaying in AOLAP

    Hi all,
I have created a level based Hierarchy in HANA which I have been able to display in Excel using a HANA MDX Provider connection:
However when I try to use the Hierarchy in Analysis for OLAP I am unable to see it, instead the dimensions are flat:
I have used an OLAP connection to HANA which otherwise appears to be working correctly.
We are on SAP BusinessObjects BI Platform 4.1 Support Pack 1 Version: 14.1.1.1036.  and HANA 1.00.69.01.386065.
If anyone can help it would be greatly appreciated.
    Regards,
    Steve Willis.

    Hi Stephen,
This should be possible. In my environment, I'm able to access both the flat and hierarchical presentations for a dimension, if I expand the dimension in the tree (see screenshot). I have noticed that the flat presentation is the default. However, if I expand and drag the appropriate hierarchy, I am seeing the hierarchy in the crosstab.
Are you able to expand the dimension and access the hierarchy?
    Best regards,
    Philip

  • Data below black level 0 in h264 mp4 files.

I'm a little confused about black and white levels in video.
I have two questions. If you bare with me for a second I can demonstrate what I mean.
I created gradient with values from 0,0,0 to 255,255,255 in Photoshop and saved it as sRGB jpg file.
I imported the file to Premiere and added Fast Color Corrector to the file and changed black input level from 0,0 to 16,0
So now everything below value 16 is cutted to black.
I exported the edited gradient as h264 mp4 videofile.
    Now things got interesting.
I imported the edited videofile back to Premiere, added Fast Color Corrector to videofile and changed black output level from 0,0 to 16,0
The information that I thought was lost is there!
I tried to to the same thing for the same video file with Photoshop and I'm not able to get the lost information back.
Why is there information below 0? And how am I able to rescue it with Premiere, but not with Photoshop?
Does this have something to do with YCbCr black and white levels that are 16-235?
This whole question came up when I calibrated my Samsung lcd-tv. I used AVS HD 709 mp4-calibration videos.
There are black level calibration videofile. Which is exactly like my gradient video file where there are black values below 0.
If you lift your tv's brightness below certain levels you are able to see the black values that are below 0.
I'm able to see these "blacker than black" values with tv's own videoplayer and with xbox videoplayer.
However, if I try to see these values with my macbook pro  which is connected to tv I can't get them visible.
It doesn't matter if I play the video with quicktime, vlc or premiere.
So the second question is why the macbook pro does not send any "below black" information to tv?
PS. I'm using latest premiere CC.
    Thank you in advance!
In this image you can see from Premiere Scopes what is happening.

Does this have something to do with YCbCr black and white levels that are 16-235?
    No and yes.
When you manipulate levels values within 0-255 (0.0-1.0) range, you don't clip existing data, you simply compress/decompress contrast, while information is still there (to some extent). By the way, data outside 16-235 range, but inside 0-255 are not super-blacks or super-whites (underdarks or ovebrights), they are just broadcast safe values. Super-blacks or underdarks are values below 0.0, while super-whites or overbrights are values above 1.0. The nature of YCbCr does allow to store some real super-blacks and super-whites even while encoding to 8-bit codec.
Why only some codecs are able to preserve this "illegal" values?
MOV container is... um-m-m... quirky. For example, exactly the same data encoded to e.g. mp4 and MOV with exactly the same codec (e.g. H.264), may be decoded/interpretted differently. So as to have some fun, create a copy of an mp4 clip, which contains some super-whites, rename file extension of one copy to MOV, import both mp4 and fake MOV footages into After Effects, set your project to 32-bit, sRGB or Rec.709 and linearise working space in order to get precise result while blending layers. Then drop both clips into the same composition and set blending mode to Difference. Enjoy!
Why I'm only able to access these values inside Premiere and not with Photoshop. Is Photoshop unable to access these illegal below 0 values?
Try setting Photoshop to 32-bit first. If that doesn't help, then yes, Photoshop clips values outside 0-255 (0.0-1.0) range on importing. Similarly you won't be able to get super-whites or super-blacks back in PrPro with 8-bit effects.
When i export with codecs that can preserve superblacks should I still get rid of them with videolimiter. Do they cause any problems in youtube or broadcast environments?
No. Moreover, you should take care of broadcast legal range in case of delivering to a broadcaster only, YouTube 'broadcasts' on the web and targets regular computer monitors, which operate on sRGB 0-255 range.
why the macbook pro does not send any "below black" information to tv?
That has probably something to do with Apple colour management workflow. Since I'm not on a Mac, I can't comment this on

  • Multiple levels in hierarchy is not showing data properly in AWM

I may have to create a hierarchy like this :
Cluster name -> Trunk Type -> Trunk name.
A cluster can have many trunk types, say T1, T2 etc and each trunk can have many names.
For example, this is my data :
    C1, T1, c1T1_1
    C1, T1, c1T1_2
    C1, T2, c1T2_1
    C2, T1, c2T1_1
    C2, T1, c2T1_2
But I see that all the data to be shown for c2 and T1 is shown in C1, T1 itself.
I see that the issue, is that as T1 is not distinct, it is causing this issue.
How can i fix this ?

This sounds like the same problem that has been recently posted.
    hierarchy problem in awm
You cannot have the single member, T1, report into both C1 and C2. You need to make the member name unique in some way. Here is a simple example following the pattern you have already set.
    C1, c1T1, c1T1_1
    C1, c1T1, c1T1_2
    C1, c1T2, c1T2_1
    C2, c2T1, c2T1_1
    C2, c2T1, c2T1_2

  • Show data from different levels of hierarchy in a report

    Hi,
We have to show Budget Vs Actual for sales. We have multiprovider on two cubes (Plan & Actual).
We want to report using Customer Hierarchy.
    Customer hierarchy is like -
    Level 1
    ---> Level 2
    > Level 3
    > Level 4
    > Customer1
    > Customer2
    > Customer3
    > Customer4
Actual data is avbl  at Customer but Budget is at avbl only upto Level1 or 2 .
    Budget Infocube structure
Level1     Level2     Material     Calmonth          Sales QTy
    Actual Infocube structure
    Customer     Calmonth     Material          Sales Qty
So how to create a BEx query so that I can show Budget Vs Actual for avaialble data?
If I drill down uptp Level2 it will show Budget Vs Actual and for further drill downs only actual data.
    Thanks,
    Vikram.

  • Problem in sorting Detail Level of hierarchy

    Hi,
I have a Calendar table having calendar_dmk as a primary key. (Month is stored as a first day of a month).
    ---Calendar_DMK------Date(dd/mm/yyyy)-------Calendar_Month---------Calendar_Year
    ----------1111111--------------------12/01/1997----------------01/01/1997----------------------1997---------
    ----------1111112--------------------13/01/1997----------------01/01/1997----------------------1997---------
    ----------1111113--------------------14/01/1997----------------01/01/1997----------------------1997---------
    ----------1111145--------------------21/02/1997----------------01/02/1997----------------------1997---------
I have created a logical column *"Month Name"* in BMM layer as monthname(Calendar.Calendar_Month) which extracts month from the calendar table. I have created another column *"Month"* as month(Calendar.Calendar_Month).
I have created Hierarchy following way....
    Calendar_Year_Dim
    |
    |*Calendar Total*
    |--Year contains Year as (key=Year and Drill Down = "Year")
    |--------Month Contains Month and Monthname (pk="Month+Year" and drill down= "Month Name")
    |--------------Day contains Calendar_dmk and date (pk = Calendar_dmk and drill down=date)
I have created one request in pivot table where I have taken "Month" in column area. When I drill down on Month, the data comes datewise, but date is not sorted. (I have set sort order property of Date column to calendar_dmk)
    Is there anything I'm missing?

Make date the first column in pivot.

  • Role and User level Risk Analysis is not displaying any output or report.

    Hello,
I have a problem when I run risk analysis, both in foreground and background. The issue is that no report is displayed and I have followed all the instructions carefully.
    I have done the following:
Maintained Access Risk table to contain functions and assigned it to a rule set.
The functions contains actions and permissions that are explicitly assigned to my ERP connector in the system field in both action and permission tabs.
I have run the sync job to update the roles in the GRC server from the ERP backend. I am surprise that no report is displayed as I have a test role that I am sure has conflict as per my function definition.
Please advice me if there is something I am missing.
    Thank you.

  • I am have problems with firefox 5& 6. It does not display correctly. I have tried the no squint and the internal zoom. Some pages load ok, others like yahoomail, load tiny unless I zoom and then other pages have problems. Why? What else can I be doing?

I am frustrated. With the no squint, which has a mind of its own, then some pages are fine, in others the type is too big or too small for the frames. If I use the default Firefox zoom that is no better. I have to set things for like 130 percent and am constantly having to click on the zoom and change things. I never had that with previous versions? Why can't Firefox just go back to displaying text in the correct frames at a decent size?

I have played with all the options in no squint and the default zoom thing. My email list in yahoo remains tiny tiny, other things do not. If I enlarge that, then other things are too big. I never had this problem with older versions of firefox. I never had used any zoom features, it all sized itself correctly.
To troubleshoot, I tried to open the same things with chrome, and it had much less of a problem sizing the type etc.
I am kind of at my wits end here.

  • Data fields selected in a form are not displaying

I have selected "Size" & "Outlook Data File" as 2 fields that I need to see on the front tab of all my contacts.  In testing to see if it works I opened a new contact (blank).  Upon it trying to open I get the same error
twice  "The Property does not exist.  The field you want to modify does not exist for this type of item."  I don't want to modify these two fields, just display them.  I chose the same field names in the forms developer/design
area as when I added the field as a display cols. in a simple list of contacts (e.g. phone book).  So it works in Viewing a list but I can't see these 2 fields when I add them to a form.  More precisely the labels show, "0" shows as the
size and blank in the other display field.

    Hi Steve,
Situation:  Through the yrs I've had multiple email domains.   I've discovered that as I opened and edited contacts they did not always save to my main contact  (.pst) I want to consolidate my contacts to my new one.
If I open the same email address from 3-5 different .pst & now MSX too, I want to know which file (domain) they are being displayed from so I don't necessarily have to ck every field to know if I can simply delete one or if I have to go field
by field to do a merge.  Secondly, I've found that some contacts from older domains never got to my current .MSX so I'm trying to figure the best way to see these.   (Doing an export, then import & then removing dups is not a feasible answer.
The exports truncate my notes to 250 chars so I loose too much of my history.)  I added "InFolder" to the contacts form but several say "contacts" so that is not enough to differentiate them.  I tried to go & change the name of the older contacts
folders but still have 3 contacts folders that I can't seem to change.
"A field appears in the Field Chooser but it doesn't mean we can use it on every type of Outlook item. We can only use fields appropriate for the form we are designing."  I realize this but these 2 fields are available & display beautifully when
I select them in my "View" of a list of contacts so it's associated in the OutL database.  Seems logical that it should be on a design form too.
Is there another suggestion for differentiating where the source of the contact comes from?
Not sure I follow what you mean by, "We can also post in Outlook for Developers forum to check the properties of Outlook contact form, and confirm which fields we can add to it:" ?? Will this serve as that posting or are you saying post a separate thread?

  • Problem with subtotal, and the total icon is not displayed at the toolbar

    Hi all,
I'm currentlyhaving difficulties working with the subtotal and the grandtotal. I have the code in the right place like the sort table
      CLEAR k_sort.
      ADD 1 TO k_sort-spos.
      k_sort-fieldname = pv_fieldname.
      k_sort-up        = c_x.
      k_sort-subtot    = pv_subtot.
      APPEND k_sort TO i_sort.
    and the fieldcatalog
      CLEAR k_fieldcat.
      add 1 to k_fieldcat-col_pos.
      k_fieldcat-fieldname  = pv_fieldname.
      k_fieldcat-tabname    = c_tabname.
      k_fieldcat-seltext_l  = pv_seltext.
      k_fieldcat-outputlen  = pv_outputlen.
      k_fieldcat-datatype   = pv_datatype.
      k_fieldcat-do_sum     = pv_dosum.
      APPEND k_fieldcat TO i_fieldcat.
but it didn't seems to show both the total and subtotal. Even the icon is not displayed at the ALV toolbar. The field which I need the total is a currency field. I even try other fields (interger fields) but with no luck. I'm using REUSE_ALV. Any help is greatly appreciated.

    hi,
In field catalog for the particular column which you want to sum make that as 'X'.
    say
    WHEN'MATNR'.
    it_fcat-do_sum = 'X'.
    CALL FUNCTION 'REUSE_ALV_GRID_DISPLAY'
           EXPORTING
                i_callback_program     = report_id
                i_grid_title           = ws_title

  • Problems with Turkish characters not displaying correctly

A user is having problems with certain Turkish characters in particular fonts not displaying correctly (as shown below).
The two fonts (Gill Sans and Helvetica LT CondensedLight) are used for English language marketing material.  Ideally, for continuity, the same font would be preferred for our Turkish language marketing material rather than changing it to a similar font.
    Helvetica LT CondensedLight
Turkish character “ İ ” does not display correctly in either Word or InDesign.
    Gill Sans
Turkish characters “ ş ” and “ ğ ” display correctly in Word but not InDesign.
    My questions are:
    1. For Gill Sans, why are the characters not displaying in InDesign but are in Word?
    2. I've noticed here: http://www.webtype.com/font/gill-sans-family/#glyphs-tab that the required characters are available within the Gill Sans font.  Is this because the font is newer and includes the additional characters?  Would this work in InDesign?

One of the big differences between InDesign and Word is that Word will happily substitute glyphs without telling you. So, unless your installs of Word and of InDesign are using different versions of Gill Sans (which is possible, BTW) then your s-with-cedilla and your g-with-macron are actually not in Gill Sans but in some other font. I'm guessing Arial.
It's possible that you have more than one Gill Sans installed (e.g. one in your Document Fonts folder and another in your system fonts folder) that have different glyph complements. Gill Sans has been around a long time, and the version I have from the 90s has no Turkish support whatsoever.
As far as the capital-I-with-dot, you can check your glyph coverage in a variety of ways. In both InDesign and Word, you can open up a window that shows you all of the glyphs in a font. In InDesign, find it in Type -> Glyphs. In Word, it's called "Insert Symbol" and you can find it in Word 2010 by going to Insert -> Symbol -> More Symbols. I am guessing that the answer to this question is simply that your cut of Helvetica LT has no cap-I-with-dot. You'd need to pick a font that actually has support for Turkish. On WIndows, I use a very full-featured freebie called BabelMap to check font coverage. They have a Web version here:
    http://www.babelstone.co.uk/Unicode/babelmap.html
but I personally prefer the downloadable .exe file.

  • MIME object/Image(JPG) not displayed in the WAD template

    Hello all,
I uploaded a .JPG file to mime repository. I used that object my WAD template. When i excute the Temapate, image file is not displayed just showing X mark.
But i am able to open/see the file from the mime repository.
What could be the problem? please let me know.

    Ravi

    Hi Anil,
Thanks for your reply. I have found the problem.
Imaage that i have kept in mime belongs to https protocol. BSP application with SSL, needs https to execute in the browser.
when i execute the template, by default WAD is using http protocol, so the image is not displaying, when i use https, the image is being displayed in the WAD output.
    Regards,
    Ravi

  • Preview not displaying List View Data past first row

I guess this is a simple question.  I have my Excel model working the way I wish it to.  The components before preview are functioning accordingly.  When Preview is run, the data in the two spreadheet tables is not displayed past the first row.
Basically, is there some gremlin within Flash that is ignoring or deleting the functions (VLOOKUP) in the targeted display area?  By all rights, this should be working, and I am kind of surprised that it isn't

If the data is static, it will display.  My research turned up that VLOOKUP and HLOOKUP functions will not display after the first row of data.
Source:  Xcelsius 2008 Dashboard best Practices by Loren Abdulezer, pages 407-408
My problem is that in making the data dynamically selectable, and using multiple functions to bring results to the top of the spreadsheet instead of their respective locations; it has created a situation where I have an Excel model that works, but an Xcelsius model that does not.
Doesn't look like there really is a solution to what I am trying to do, short of completely rebuilding the model, which I do not have the ability to replicate.
