Wait step taking longer time than the defined wait time

Hi,
We have very simple BPM with 3 steps: Receive, Wait and Send.
Wait step has following parameters:
Type: Wait Specified Time Period
Duration: 1
Unit: Minutes
From the above parameters idelly it should wait only for 60 sec and start the next step which is send step. But Wait step is taking following times: 1m 09s,1m 40s, 3m 40s, 1m 41s, 2m 10s, 2m 16s, 2m 46s, 1m 09s, 1m 40s, 3m 39s
Does anyone know what could be the reason for above longer wait time??
Thx
N@v!n

Hi Naveen,
How did you measure these times? Tha additional time might be because of the message processing time included or size of the message is bigger to process.. or may be because of the network traffic..!!
Check the each time stamp from message monitoring tool in RWB and verify for accuracy.

Transaction FKKORDM started taking long to complete the execution. I faced the this issue before so i re-generated the interval then this issue got resolved.  Now i am again start facing same issue and it is not being resolved by re-generating the intervals.
Can some one let me know any possible cause of this long run.
    Thanks.

    Hello,
    You could try the following:
Go to the Implementation Guide of the contract accounting (under
'Technical settings' -> 'Prepare mass activities') and maintain the
settings for the general control for the mass run types.
Delete the 'No reconciliation key' indicator on the 'Reconciliation key'
tab and set the 'Mass posting' indicator.
    See if this can help.

  • I want to snooze an event for a different length of time than the default. How do I select a different snooze length?

I just upgraded to Mountain Lion and I can't see how to snooze an event alert for other than the preset 15 minutes. How do I snooze events and other alerts for different lengths of time than the default? Sometimes I want to snooze an event until the start time or maybe for a whole day.

SnoozeMaster is now avaiable from the Mac App Store, for MacOS X 10.8 and up.
    https://itunes.apple.com/us/app/snoozemaster/id614955483?mt=12
It addresses this exact issue. You'll be able to configure different pre-set snooze times, enter custom snooze times when an alarm triggers, etc. It's what snoozing should've been from the get go.

  • Converting Delivery Creation Date/Time into the Local Date/Time

    Hi
I have two fields like 'Delivery Creation Date' and 'Delivery Creation Time' in ECC system . My user wants the Delivery Creation Date / Delivery Creation Time in Local time of Plants .
    For example :
Delivery    Plant       DelivCreationDate       DelivCreationTime   DelivCreationDate(Local)   DelivCreationTime(Local)
    312456          1650               11/2/2007                     4:30                          11/2/2007                          3:30
Here the Plant 1650 is in Mexico . The above delivery is created in Canada in ECC system according to the candain time .
But user wants to convert the Candain Delivery Creation Date and Time into the Local Date/Time of specific plant .
So we need to convert the  Candain Delivery Creation Date and Time into Mexico timings .
How can it is possible this one and user wants to automate this process .
    Please let me know

  • DTP step taking longer time

    Hello Experts
As Iam new to SDN I tried to find an answer to this issue. Please find below is the Issue
There is a process chain. In this PC, After deleting the Index step, there is a DTP step, which updates the Cube with one DSO; the first DTP step is much delayed for update to cube. But where as the immediate DTP step to the same cube with another DSO is finishing so faster.
The prob is with the first DTP step which updates the cube frm DSO In this there is one Job with the namingconvention shown as BIDTPR_545787_1 was running more than 10000sec to update the Cube. Dont know why this job is running beyond so much time, where as it usually prior to some days back completes within 3000 secs.
Now the prob. is that the Data loading performance of the Prod system effected, where this DTP step is ruuning beyond time. Please can someone suggest how to find and resolve this issue as not sure why the below kind of JOBS are running for more time causing the PC much delayed for completion
    BIDTPR_545787_1
BIDTPR_545689_1 etc of the First DTP are running longer. Pls help!
    Regards
    MD

    Hi
There could have been many reasons like
during that particular DTP is scheduled, there will not be neough work processors, this is due to the some other long running loads/jobs are running and which would have been occupied.hence during this DTP runs, parallely crosscheck in SM12,SM50&SM51.
And also check that particular job in SM37 and understand where does its taking more time.
There could have been expensive select statement,if any routines used in the transformations.
    Try to find out this.

  • Hyperion System 9.3.1 reports taking longer time for the very first time

We are on Hyperion System 9.3.1. The Financial reports are taking longer time (like 2 to 3 minuter) for the very first time for each login. The subsequest reports are does work faster.
The behaviour is same for the Production and Development environments.
All the reporting services have given enough JVM heap size.
FYI, Reporting and Workspace runngin on the same server. Workspace/Reporting are clusted in two servers. HFM app is running on different server. HFM web is on different server. Shared Services is also on running on different server.
Any help would be greately appreciated.
    Thanks.

The reason they run quicker the subsequent times, is because the data has already been cached in the system.
You could try the usual tricks to speed the report up:
    - move items into POV
    - have children and parent in the same row
    - arrange dimensions in inverse outline order
    - remove excessive formatting
    - push report calculations back to the data source
We have found that using lots of dynamically calculated members also slows down reports, so try and limit the number of these.
Hope this helps. If not maybe give us an idea of how the report is created to see if other changes could be made.

  • Create Index Step taking long time

I have a create index step in process chain for a infocube. The Create Index step is takes more time. The requests in this cube are rolled up and compressed. The batch process are also avaliable. But still the create index step takes more time. Any suggestions to reduce the time of create index step?

    Hi,
If you have more Data in Cube then it will take some time..check any Dumps in ST22 and SM21. Ask Basis Team any Error messages in DB02 and check.
    Else goto to RSRV
Tests in Transaction RSRV --> Database --> Database Indices of an InfoCube and Its Aggregates
Give Cube name and execute it and see the errors then if any RED color, ckick on Repaire Icon and see.
    Thanks

  • The system time is val seconds older than the queue space time

We did a time change on our system to future time and getting the above error after we are trying to reboot the application with current time.
    Please help !

The Tuxedo queueing subsystem access to an accurate system time in order to
implement message expiration times and other time-related features. If the
system time is reset to an earlier value, time related queueing features can
    work incorrectly. For this reason,
Q_CAT:2238 is logged if such a situation is encountered. Timestamps can be
stored within individual /Q messages as well as in the queuespace
    superblock.
If the time change into the future was of short duration, the easiest way to
resolve this problem is simply to wait until the real time reaches the
previously set future time. Once this happens, the queuespace will once
    again be usable.
If the queuespace is used on a test system and the data on it is not
valuable, another option is to recreate the queue space from scratch.
Another option is to reset the system time back to the previous future time
in order to use the queuespace.
If this is a production system and you are a BEA support customer, you can
file a support case about this situation. It may be possible for support to
write a utility program to modify the timestamps within the queue to earlier
values or to give you a version of /Q compiled to accept an environment
variable that can be used to modify /Q's idea of the system time.

  • When using the LabVIEW Simulation Module, how can I start a frequency sweep with the Simulation Chirp signal generation VI at an arbitrary time after the simulation initial time?

I'm using the Simulation Loop on LV RT when interacting with some hardware (i.e. all I/O is happening in the Sim loop). I'm going to conduct a frequency sweep test on the hardware and want to use the Simulation Chirp function. However, there is no way (that I can see) to trigger the Chirp to start at some event (i.e. I click a boolean on the front panel and enter a case statement). The Chirp is tied to the global time of the Simulation loop and so are it's input parameters. Is there a way to make it relative to some time at which an event happens?

    Craig,
Your solution will 'cut' the beginning of the signal and only show the signal afterwards.
To control when the chirp should start, the best option is to use the Chirp Pattern.vi ( in the Signal Generation palette) and use a Lookup table to control when to feed the time. The shipping example (in LabVIEW 2013) shows how to code using a lookup table.
    C:\Program Files (x86)\National Instruments\LabVIEW 2013\examples\Control and Simulation\Simulation\Signal Generation\SimEx Chirp.vi
Then, to start from a toggled boolean, look at the example:
    C:\Program Files (x86)\National Instruments\LabVIEW 2013\examples\Control and Simulation\Simulation\Signal Generation\SimEx Step.vi
and Here is the example in 2013 (in attachment):

  • Return value from database function taking a lot more time than the query

    Hi guys,
I have a Query that does a call to a database function. The function takes in a few parameters and returns a Date. Now, the query within the function takes barely .05 seconds. However, doing a select get_join_dates from dual is taking almost 6 seconds for each call.
    Here is the Query:
    select s.student_id, s.student_name, s.organization_code
    from   student s
    where  s.student_id = :p_student_id
    and    s.student_enrollment_date = get_join_dates( :p_year,
                                                       :p_month,
                                                       :p_student_id,
s.organization_code );And here is the database function. The select inside this function barely takes 0.05 seconds per call. This function gets called 3 times in my case as there are 3 records in the org_body table for this student.
    create or replace function
    get_join_dates( p_yyyy in org_body.fiscal_yyyy%type,
                           p_month in  org_body.fiscal_mm%type,
                           p_student_id in student.student_id%type,
p_organization_code in org_body.organization_code%type) return date as
        t_enrollment_date  date;
        cursor cur_latest_enrollment_date is
          select max(enrollment_date)
          from   org_body
          where  fiscal_yyyy = p_yyyy
          and    fiscal_mm = p_month
          and    student_id = p_student_id
          and    organization_code = p_organization_code;
      BEGIN
        open cur_latest_enrollment_date ;
        fetch cur_latest_enrollment_date into t_enrollment_date;
        close cur_latest_enrollment_date ;
        return t_enrollment_date;
      exception
        when others then
          null;
end;owever, when I run the following statement below, it takes close to 6 seconds to retrieve a record. In turn, my Query is becoming really slow and taking almost 35 seconds. Imagine that with more records.
    select get_join_dates( 2010, '01', '2167543', 'PSYCH01' ) from dual;If I run my query with this condition below, it takes 0.5 seconds.
    select s.student_id, s.student_name, s.organization_code
    from   student s
    where  s.student_id = :p_student_id
and      s.student_enrollment_date = '01-JAN-10'Any ideas would be greatly appreciated.

Any reason why you are doing this with the stored function?
You could just do this with SQL. Embed the query in the function as a subquery in your initial query from STUDENT.
    select s.student_id, s.student_name, s.organization_code
    from   student s
    where  s.student_id = :p_student_id
    and    s.student_enrollment_date =
    (select max(enrollment_date)
          from   org_body
          where  fiscal_yyyy = :p_year
          and    fiscal_mm = :p_month
          and    student_id = s.student_id
and    organization_code = s.organization_code);Why your function is not performing: I cannot say that with the information you have provided.
Maybe sqltrace a call and see what the reason is.

  • Why HTML report takes more time than the PDF one?

    Hi,
I have created report in Reports 6i. When I run the report on the web with FORMAT = PDF it runs very fast and shows all the pages in 2 minutes. But when I run with
FORMAT = HTML it shows the first page in 2 minutes, after that it takes lot of time to show the remaining pages. If the total pages are more than 40, the browser just freezes
Can somebody give me the reason?
Is there any way to rectify this?
    Thanks alot.
    Ram.

    Hi Senthil,
Iam running with the below parameters.
    Format : HTML
    Destination : Screen.
My default browser is IE. When I try to run using Netscape it showed only 1 page out of 34 pages.
When I run Format as PDF it is faster but font size is small when it opens up. Offcourse user can zoom it.
If I increase the report width from 11 to 14 the font size becomes very small when it open up in browser.
Is there any way that I can set up zoom when I run as PDF?
    Thanks for your help.
    Ram.

  • Where can I purchase a longer cord than the one provided?

When I had my Uverse installed, I wanted it on 1 wall. The installer said it would be better on the other wall as the box to connect to was there. I didn't have my furniture yet, so I agreed. Well, now I have the furniture and I need it on the wall I originally wanted it on. Called Uverse and they want to charge me $149 to just check out the problem. I need cords that are longer than what was provided. Does anyone know where I can purchase them?

Don't get ripped off by Monster $79 'high speed' cables. Great inexpensive cable here: http://www.monoprice.com/home/index.asp Chris
