hi all,
i am MCA graduate studies at India. working at Dubai in oracle(oracle forms and report).
so i have not done any oracle related courses. what i have done for company is only my experience(i have three years of experience). Since i don't have much carrier growth,I feel like my knowledge is not strong enough.
Now i am planning to do course, which helps to improve my knowledge and carrrier wise i will have a growth.
i came to know about oracle HRMS,oracle financials etc.. How far these courses going to help me? Or anybody can give different paths regarding this.
My preference is to do course in dubai itself.

So, you've helped, but you've also discouraged from asking further, and also notified others reading it that, whilst the person got an answer, they shouldn't go asking similar questions. ;)

Newbies from the facebook world have different social norms and won't get it right away if you mix messages (or sometimes even if you clearly state specific messages).Yeah, and often they also write in txt spk rather than words everyone can understand... that doesn't work in a professional business (can't imagine my manager being happy if I wrote my technical documentation like that), so people just have to be educated not to do it... and if they continue... then peer pressure will show them (when they get ignored or worse still, abused).

To resolve it, Run the Cleaner tool to remove Ps CC :http://www.adobe.com/support/contact/cscleanertool.html . and then try installing Ps again.

If you were using OSX 10.7 then you could go back to a previous version, but you have overwritten the file.

Don't want to Copy audio and movies into document: Selecting

Here is my first question about Keynote.
In the User Guide, we may read:
Copy audio and movies into document: Selecting this checkbox saves audio and
video files with the document, so the files play if the document is opened on another
computer.
*_You might want to deselect this checkbox so that the file size is smaller, but_*
*_media files won’t play on another computer unless you transfer them as well._*
The named checkbox is unchecked in the Advanced options as well as in the Preferences pane but, when I drag a sound file, in fact a mp3 one encapsulated in a .mov file, I retrieve it it the document itself.
I'm running the app on a French system if it may make sense.
Am'I doing something wrongly ?

I have no huge knowledge about Keynote.
So, I would use brute force.
Assuming that your document is built with the flatfile format introduced by iWork '09
(1) rename the document wxyz.key as wxyz.key.zip
(2) double click the renamed document
it will expand as a wxyz.key document using the old package structure
(3) ctrl + click the icon of the new wxyz.key document to reach the contextual menu offering the item allowing you to "Display Package Contents"
(4) in this contents you will see the "kind of aliases" which I wrote about.
They are named something like : azertyui.mov
(5) open them with an hexadecimal editor like the free Hexedit.
You may also drag & drop them on the TextEdit icon.
In this late case you will get something like :
I highlighted the meaningful info.
Here it must be read as:
Macintosh HD/Important/Téléchargements/jef gilson - oeil vision/jej gilson - oeil vision - 7 -chant inca.mp3
This is the path to the true file.
With this info, you may reach the true file.
As far as I know, the embedded .mov file is a frozen 'kind of alias' so you are not allowed to move it.
As long as it remains where it is, you may move the keynote document everywhere on your HD. You may also move it on an external HD.
As long as the device is connected to your machine with the media file untouched thr doc will behave flawlessly.
If you move it to an other machine, it will be orphan.
So, to use it on an other machine, you must embed the media file in the document.
Open this document with Keynote.
Check the checkbox urging Keynote save media in the document
Delete the icon of the media item existing in the document
Drag & drop the true media file as a replacement of the deleted one
then save the document.

To my knowledge, they are some insert picture files.

Well here I am again, once again lots of problems with t he upgrade to ML from SL on my late 2009 iMac.
Background: I took my perfectly fine functioning iMac into the Apple Store to have the Seagate HD replaced pert the recall. BIG MISTAKE. The Geniuses gave me a "complimentary" upgrade to ML without asking if that was okay, and three months later, I still do not have a functioning iMac.
My iMac since this reintallation has been unable to open ANY iphoto files/photos saved whie I was still running SL--pretty much everything I've saved as a jpeg for the last six years, so I'm not willing to let this go so easily. Not only have I got work-related files on here that I need, all of my children's and family photos are saved on there. I need those files.
After trying to no avail to reinstall SL from disk, the Apple Tech from Apple Care said that I've got hardware problems (fans wont' stop running; SL disk cannot be read by either Super Drive--the one inside the iMac or the external portable Super Drive, hence reinstallation of SL has not been possible), so I'm supposed to take it BACK into the Apple Store and let them work on it again. Please understand that for the last three months I have been dealing with nonstop issues that have created a real mess of my life and nothing gets fixed, no matter how many phone calls I make. I do not think any of this is hardware-related, honestly. I've found numerous threads on the fan running constantly with the installation of ML; and no, I'm not even running any CPU-instensive programs. And nothing explains why when the SL disk (a second copy of which was mailed to me) cannot be opened (the progress wheel just keeps spinning and spinning).
Well, I've decided that I'm probably going to have to give up on this, and that my previously working iMac that should have had more life in it is destined for the landfill (or recycling). All I want now is to get my data off of it and be able to use it with my external hard drive with another Mac (MBA now running Lion--although it's also got lots of problems) and a new Windows machines which I will mostly likely be buying this week. I can no longer live with the interruptions to my life--I work with my computers, need my data, and this has been going for three months.
I read a bunch of really complicated information on how to get my old data off of my Mac and/or external hard drive, and I've accepted that this is going to take a LOT of time, but I do't have a choice if I want my data.
I'm now looking at the contents of my external hard drive, and looking specifically at one of the user accounts (one that I use for work purposes) and I see that I am not allowed to view the contents of the "Pictures" because I do not have permission. This has been an ongoing issue while using the MBA to TRY to view/access data from the iMac. Is there anyone who can help me figure out how to repair all of these permission errors?

I want to DUMP Safari and move to Firefox - best way?

I am tired of going to hundreds of websites which Do Not Work in Safari, usually when I'm trying to select a popup or enter data or view some info.
I then go to FireFox, and it ALWAYS works.
I have tried Safari 3 Beta for a few weeks now, and it's Even Worse than 2.
So, if I want to DUMP Safari, but import all the booksmarks and bookmark folders etc, is there an easy way to do this?

The trick is to delete all bookmarks in Firefox first, then import from Safari.
You will then have a complete duplicate in Firefox of what you have in Safari.

Want to update iTunes and OS..which should I do first?

I have just bought a new iPod 80g and consequently will now need to update to itunes 7 at least. I currently am running OS X 10.4.6 and have been hesitating over whether to update to the most recent version of the OS as there have been so many reports of problems. However, as I also need to update the firmware of my macbook to address the overheating issue I have now decided to just bite the bullet and do the updates and hope nothing goes wrong. Which order should I do this in.. OS 10.4.8 first followed by itunes or the other way round? And should I download itunes 7 from the website and then update it to 7.2 or can I go straight to the software updater and do the 7.2 download. Should I repair permissions afterwards?

I would suggest that you update your OS to 10.4.8 first as there may be other software updates that will depend upon the OS being up to date. You should then use Software Update to find the latest versions of applications software.

Podcasts: I want them UPDATED automatically and not automatically TURNED OFF!

Apple's remote Podcast system management on a Mac is completely backward.
The system automatically turns OFF podcast, preventing them from updating (the little ! in a circle).
But it doesn't UPDATE any podcasts.

it's really quite odd that no-one has been able to come up with a response to this!
Podcasts have never worked very well for me, and even with the new app, they seem to be as naff as ever when it comes to file management!

I do not want automatic updates uploaded and then added W/O first being able to see and approve them. Is this possible? THANKS in advance

1. That's a scare fostered by the web site. It's to scare Windows users. It's a pop up. Disable pop ups in Safari by going to the menu: Safari>Block Pop-Up Windows.
2. Get a bluetooth mouse if you like.
3. You may need a converter to change gif's to jpg's. GraphicConverter. Or check at versiontracker.com for freeware.
4. Tiger right now is 10.4.11. Many doubt that Apple will update it other than security updates. However, this OS should be strong for many years. No need to get Leopard now.
With only 25 days to Christmas left I hope you buy me something really great.

Example
Billing document:
By selling goods in accordance with targets, revenue is generated. The revenue is posted in billing and forwarded

How do I make a Mouse Trace line (puzzle type) to move forward in a Flash site

I'm wondering how I would go about making a Mouse Trace, on a line that's preset but my choosing to let people enter into my Flash and/or progress throughout it. Basically, I have a picture of say, the number 5, I want to be able to have people use the mouse cursor to trace the 5 from one end to the next, and once completed the sites move forward. Though, I will be using my company logo which is a bit more advanced than a single number or letter form. If no one is sure what I'm talking about I've added a picture to demonstrate what I'm trying to do.
Another idea I have if this one can't be accomplished, is a slide bar.
Basically, it would look like a timeline control in say, VLC, and I would have the user drag a button from one side to the next to unlock and move forward.
Though that may seem a bit more simple that my main idea, I would also like to be able to get really advanced with this second function and make a series of slide bars, say, 3, and they have to be slid in a certain manner, like slide bar 1,3,2 then it unlocks and moves forward.
Any and ALL thoughts and ideas are welcome.

if you can assume your shapes are traced when a user starts at one point, drags the mouse to your end-point and does NOT go outside the shape boundary, you can use a bitmapdata hittest and loop to check the mouse stays inside your shape and you can check that they start and end within a determined distance of the start and end.
