Wanted Honolulu HI FCP 5 Studio User with discs

Hi Honolulu FCP Studio User,
I moved from New York City back to my hometown of Honolulu HI. In the process of moving, I lost my discs for FCP Studio 5, the bundle that includes Compressor, Motion, DVD Studio Pro 4 and of course FCP 5.
I had to get my computer hard drive replaced and thus lost all of my programs. I saved everything I could on an external HD. I need to reinstall the FCP Studio Suite on my Powerbook laptop. I have all the legitimate serial numbers. Apple wants to charge me nearly 200.00 to replace all the discs. I would be so ever grateful if I could meet you someplace like Starbucks, borrow your discs to reinstall right there on the premises and give you 20 bucks and buy you a cup of coffee.
I'm in academia and as you know teachers don't make a lot of money. My school only has FCP 4.5

Final Cut Studio 2 (with FCP 6) runs just fine on my 2.0 GHz 20" iMac CD, which has a 128 MB ATI Radeon X1600 with an external display (1280x1024) connected via DVI.

Want to get the list users with select access to v$ synonyms and v$ views

I've to write a sql (DB 11.1) to get the list of users who has select access to v$ synonym and v$ views. I've written the following sqls to do this but they both return the same result and I don't know how to verify it. It will be a great help if you could validate the sqls and let me know if something is wrong. Thanks for the help.

Uninstall FCP Studio?

Greetings,
I am selling my powerbook and want to uninstall FCP studio so I can put it on my new Desktop.
(I did not have any projects on the machine- so I did not need to do any back-up.)
I removed all FCP folders from finder and trashed them.
Is this all I need to do?
It's my understanding that you can only run FCP on one machine at a time so;
When I go to re install FCP Studio onto the powermac- how does it know that I have uninstalled. off the powerbook?

Create a new user with Privileges to execute Seeded API's

We have a requirement from our client, they want to create a new user with Privileges to execute Seeded API’s,
So they dont want to execute using APPS user.
We want to know is it possible to have a new user for executing seeded API's and if so what all priveleges we need to have.
We are on 12.1.3 with 11.2.0.3 two node RAC Database on Exadata and Exalogic servers.

Sync LDAP users with ECC - Mapping required field

Hello,
I want to synchronize SAP ECC users with LDAP users.
At this moment I succeed to synchronize all users existing from the LDAP to the ECC.
But I want to filter users which need to be created by a specific attribute added in the LDAP.
I changed the LDAP mapping to add the "required" check on the corresponding to the specific attribute field. But when I use the RSLDAPSYNC_USER program, this required attribute is not considered.
What can I do to synchronize user which have the specific attribute filled. And not all users ?

In detailled:
- in the LDAP we have created a specific attribute name "SAP FIELD" (technical name is extensionAttribute10)
- in the LDAPMAP transaction in the ECC I modified the following entry:
" USERNAME | BAPIBNAME | sAMAccountName | X | X | X | X | | X | |"
By the following new:
" USERNAME | BAPIBNAME | extensionAttribute10 | X | X | X | X | | X | |"
So when I synchronize the LDAP, the LDAP specific extension is required (because linked to the SAP username). And if user doesn't has this specific attribute filled, it's not synchronized.

OIM11gR2 - How can I list users with an SAP User Application Instance?

This is a feature I was used to in OIM9.
Except that in OIM9 the model was a bit different, we had no application instance. We referred to it as a Resource.
Anyway, as an Identity Manager administrator, I wanted to quickly find a user with an specific Resource, e.g. SAP User.
I went to Resources, choose the resource I'm interested in finding the users, then from there I could filter them by Resource Status, either Provisioned, Provisioning, Revoked, Disabled, etc.
Now in OIM11gR2 I can't find an equivalent for this.
From /sysadmin I cant list users from the Application Instances
From /identity I cant search users with a given Application Instance.
Did I miss something? or this cannot be done in OIM11R2.
(Alternatively, I opening SQL Developer and listing the UD_SAP table, but this is obviously not acceptable)

this is a problem of realm definition.check the config.xml, you've got an invalid realm declared.

Users with direct access to tables

I need to find out which users have direct access to tables, not through the roles.
Is dba_tab_privs the right table to query or table_privileges is the correct one.
Please let me know the difference between these two.
I have gone through the documentation but I am still not clear about the difference between them.
Let me know whatever your thoughts are on this.

Ah, an opportunity to illustrate the value of COMMENTs:
SQL> select * from dict where table_name = 'TABLE_PRIVILEGES';

Grants on objects for which the user is the grantor, grantee, owner,
or an enabled role or PUBLIC is the grantee
SQL> select * from dict where table_name = 'DBA_TAB_PRIVS';
TABLE_NAME
COMMENTS
DBA_TAB_PRIVS
All grants on objects in the database
SQL>So, TABLE_PRIVILEGES is a view relevant to the user who is currently connected and SELECTing from it.
DBA_TAB_PRIVS is what you want to use to find users with direct access granted to tables.

Install FCP studio to external drive

I want to install FCP studio to my macbook pro and install all supporting media to an external drive so i don't waste space. has anybody done that.

As Jerry notes, templates can be installed on a non-system disk.
Pay close attention during the install process when you are given Options. A number of people have clicked through those moments without paying much attention and placed all there support files on the system disk - much to their dismay.

FCP 3 compatability with G5

I'm an amateur FCP 3 user with an iMAC. I just purchased a G5 and am looking to upgrade to FCP 5. I'm mid-stream on a project and I'm curious as to whether I'll run into any conversion / compatability issues trying to transfer my FCP 3 project into FCP 5. Or should I just try to finish my project in FCP 3?

Moving FCP Studio from G5 to Laptop - user's license?

I've been running FCP Studio Pro on my G5 Tower. I've just bought a MacBook Pro - to take a project on a location shoot.
Am I legally entitled to install my 'single owner' FCP Studio on my laptop? And thus have it installed on my studio G5 and my laptop simulatneously?
At what point do I have to buy a multiple user license?

It's stated somewhere in the user manual or liscense agreement when you install the software that as a single liscense owner, you are allowed to install your software suite on one desktop, and one portable machine (seeing as MBP's aren't "laptops"...) so you should be fine. However, if you haven't gone through the crossgrade procedure (ie. sending in your old software discs, and paying a very reasonable fee in return for Final Cut Studio 5.1) then you will have to before installing on your MBP as 5.1 is the Universal Binary version required by the intel macs. FCP 7 (Studio 3) with new OS and new computers. Will it work?

I have read, and mostly likely so have you, that a new Power Mac will be introduced sometime this spring. I don't know when it will be available to purchase, though.
My concern is that as a FCP Studio 3 user, Not FCPX, that the new machines and whatever new Operating systems that will be coming out in the future, will FCP 7 and the rest of Studio 3 be able to run on these newer machines?
I am about 2 years away from having to purchase a new Power Mac or IMAC and I woud like to know if I can just install FCP Studio 3 on them or do I have to make the switch to FCPX, Premiere Pro, or Avid Media Composer?

The "power mac" died AGES ago when Apple moved to Intel processors.
Apple does not give a 5hit about FCP 7 or other legacy users. They did not care about us when FCS 2009 was the current version of their flagship software and we have dropped so far off the radar screen as to be invisible. Try to imagine a number less than zero and you have how Apple feels about FCS (any version other than FPX).
Will Macs (hardware and OS) in 24 months support 4 year old software? I would not bet money on it.

Unfortunately FormCentral and Echosign are two different services and forms created in Forms central can only be submitted via and to Forms Central.
We cannot have the form filled in using FormCentral and get it signed using Echosign.
However, you can use Echosign directly and you can get most of the functionality.
