WARNING: Failed to validate the xml content

Hi,
We notice this error when we start the web logic admin console and also in many of Hyperion log files. There are many instances of this error and everything is pointing to different lines in this file “jps-config.xml”.

Hi,
can you please provide more details on your application?
Which version of ADF are you using and which server. Are you trying to deploy on GlassFish server?
Which IDE are you using?
Perhaps this will be useful:

    Unfortunatly the update server is having some very strange hicups every now and then. I've been able to reproduce this once on a sparc box. What I did was basicly running 'smpatch analyze' for a second time, followed by the regular 'update' command after which things worked out for me.
    Some strange things also occur when you sometimes run the 'analyze' command, and then run it again. Sometimes you'll be presented with 2 different lists of available updates.

  • PatchPro download failure | Failed to validate the digital signature

    Hi,
    Patchpro failing to validate some patches on 2 of our servers. One is throwing an error (1, below), the other is echoing an error to screen(2).
    We are patching around a dozen servers (all SPARC, versions 8, 9 and 10) and these are the only 2 with problems.
    Thanks for any help you can provide.

  • Validate the XML tag value and display the Binding data in XDP

    Hi,
    I am new to Adobe Life Cycle.... and i am working on the following requirement and XML file is enclosed...
    1. Need to validate the XML value of <pp> with condition
    2. Basing on the value of <pp>, need to display the <ct> values in text field
    If i simply bind, it takes the values from top of array and display..
    Please suggest how to restrict the binding values basing on the condition.
    Thanks

  • Failed to Validate the License Online

    When attempting install of add-ons, I get the error:  "Failed to Validate the License Online".  I've tried installing through the CC addon website and via the extension manager, but I still get the same issue.  Download and install of all CC apps is fine, just having a problem with add-ons.  Windows 7, 64-Bit PC.

    just got a notification to 'complete registration of my product' from Adobe.  Clicked the link and was brought to my Adobe ID page.  I didnt see a link to complete registration, but I did notice this looked off:

    I can able to parsed one structured XML file using SAX
    Sample code :

         public void startDocument() throws SAXException {
              logger.info("Start of document");

                   // name
                   String qualName, // qualified name
                   Attributes attrs) throws SAXException {
              elemName = new String(localName); // element name
              if (elemName.equals(""))

              tagPosition = TAG_START;
              // Set the string for accumulating the text in a tag to empty

              // If the element name is "row", create a new row instance

    } // end class MarkItIndexLoader
    but the problem is i want to parse any XML file means any Elemets would be change any time using SAX .In the above example
    else if (elemName.equals("Heat")) {
    else if (elemName.equals("IndexREDId")){
    } else if (elemName.equals("Maturity")) {
    like above I am doing hard code so i don't want hard coding the elements names I want to read any element name and value dynamically.
    Dynamically i want to read the root and child elements
    EX: I can give any XML file like
    Student.XML: <root>..</StName>..</StAge>...</root>
    Employee.XML: <root>..</EmpName>..</EmpAge>...</root>
    CdCatalog.XML: <root>..</Cdtitle>...</CdNumber>...</root>
    I need one java program can ready any type of XML file elements and send to the Database table.
    Please any one done like this task please suggest some reference links or books or sample snippet which can help me to develop program in my requirement.

    just got a notification to 'complete registration of my product' from Adobe.  Clicked the link and was brought to my Adobe ID page.  I didnt see a link to complete registration, but I did notice this looked off:

  • Require to validate the xml

    I have two requirements:
    1. to Validate the xml to follow a predefined structure - this is done.
    2. to validate the xml on basis of some conditions - this is to be done.
    To eleborate, suppose i have a xml structure such as:
    <books>
      <book>
          <author name = "abc" publisher="xyz"/>
          <title>something</title>
           <price>$2</price>
      </book>
      <book>
         <author name = "cde" publisher="uvw"/>
          <title>otherthing </title>
           <price>$2</price>
      </book>
    </books>these data are to be uploaded to the database but before uploading the database i want to perform some validations on the data for ex. if the author name is "abc", then the publisher can only be "xyz".
    Any idea how the validation on the data inside the can be performed.

    Use a validating parser (any recent Xerces, for one) and switch on the validation feature. Very much vendor-specific, so look at the docs of your parser. Oh, you do have a schema for these documents, don't you?

  • REP-6102: Failed to start the XML parser.

    I have this project that was started using the Reports Wizard, however using a very simplified query. Then I've applied quite a lot of PL/SQL code to pre-process the report data. Eventually everything works fine, and the only thing remaining is to properly format the output. Then I save the project as a JSP, or RDF, or XML, and quits Reports all together.
    The next time I open the project everything seems fine Thus I employ the Wizard to format the reports' output, and saves the project again. And quits the application.
    The next time I open the project I receive one of two messages; 'REP-6102: Failed to start the XML parser', or 'REP-0002: Unable to retrieve a string from the Report Builder message file'. Then Reports crashes!!!!
    This means I cannot complete the report as I'm unable to save and retrieve a completed report. I've tried this with several reports, all with the same result. I've even unstalled all Oracle-sw on my PC and re-installed it several times.
    I'm running WinXP, Oracle 9I DS with patch 9.0.2.1 applied.

    Hello Lasse,
    I think you are hitting a known issue, could you please call Support to get the status of this problem.

  • 119116-20 - ERROR: Failed to validate the digital signature(s).

    Hi I am getting such errors when I use smpatch:
    bash-3.00# smpatch download -i 119116-20
    com.sun.patchpro.util.Percentage@1c4ff2c
    119116-20 cannot be validated.
    Unexpected Failure: java.lang.Throwable: ERROR: Failed to validate the digital signature(s).
    Can you please help me fix this?
    Thanks,
    Mayuresh

    I'm getting the same problem ; smpatch fails to validate signed patches.
    I followed the instructions at:
    http://forum.sun.com/jive/thread.jspa?threadID=108470&messageID=369154
    However, 112945-43 is obsoleted by 112945-44, which I installed instead. I also installed this certificate, as the instructions indicate:
    http://www.sun.com/pki/certs/ca/Object_Signing_CA-cert.der
    Using pkgadm addcert -t -f der ./Object_Signing_CA-cert.der. I can see that it is installed:
    # pkgadm listcert
        Keystore Alias: Object Signing CA
           Common Name: Object Signing CA
      Certificate Type: Trusted Certificate
    Issuer Common Name: Sun Microsystems Inc Root CA

    Error: PatchPro failed: ERROR: Failed to validate the digital signature(s).
    /var/sadm/spool/113434-33.jar cannot be validated.I'm guessing that the Object Signing CA on http://www.sun.com/pki/certs/ca/ is not the correct certificate that I need to verify the signed patches. Can anyone point me in the right direction?
    Thanks.

    I can echo this behavior here....
    Also, I can isolate it (right now) to two patches. Looks like other people had more affected. Tomorrow, maybe it affects more for me too, I don't know. Manually downloading the two patches signed jar files, it seems like something is corrupt in the jar file:

  • Import of XML file failed in portal using XML Content and Action

    Hi Friends,
    I am trying to import the simple XML file which is just creating the folder in the PORTAL_CONTENT using XML CONTENT AND ACTIONS  which is one way of creating the portal content. GO TO SYSTEM ADMINISTRATION > TRANSPORT > XML CONTENT AND ACTIONS > IMPORT.
    The reason for using this import tool is to upload the backend Business roles, which is not not working on our corporate portal. To test the import functionality I used the following xml file (I got this XML file by exporting the test folder in the portal using the same tool)

    The enabling part will have to be done with LiveCycle Reader Extensions, which is also available from Datalogics as the PDF Java Toolkit with Reader Extensions.
    If you can get all of your users to move to Reader 11 and don't use digital signatures, consider:
    1. Appligent's AppendPDF Pro, perhaps along with FDFMerge.
    2. Debenu's Quick PDF Library
    3. iText
