Wars no longer auto unpacking.

Hi,
I have an application that I need to override the context for.
I'm using tomcat 4.1.27
The name of the war is say myapp_nl.war
I have created a file myapp_nl.xml and added it into the webapps directory.
<Context path="/myapp_nl" docBase="myapp_nl"  debug="0">
     <Realm className="org.apache.catalina.realm.JDBCRealm"
                        debug="9999"
                   driverName="oracle.jdbc.driver.OracleDriver"
               connectionName="myapp_nl"
           connectionPassword="myapp_nl"
                connectionURL="jdbc:oracle:thin:@//myapp_nl/MYAPP_SERVICE"
                    userTable="USER"
                  userNameCol="USERNAME"
                  userCredCol="PASSWORD"
                userRoleTable="USER_ROLE"
                  roleNameCol="ROLENAME"/>
</Context>This is because I have several regionalised versions of this app e.g. myapp_nl, myapp_ie etc.
And each app needs to get its realm info from a different database.
My problem is that the war file placed in the webapps is no longer unpacked automatically.
I would like this to be unpacked automatically.
If I don't place the myapp_nl.xml file in the webapps directory it unpacks ok.
Does anyone know how to force this to happen.
Angus

It looks like manually deleting my whole preferred network list and then re-adding my home network may have done the trick.

  • Windows task bar no longer auto hides when I fullscreen a flash video.

    Like the question reads, my task bar is no longer auto hiding when I full screen flash videos in firefox. Other than the obvious issue of it just being unsightly and annoying, It also causes a few other problems. One being that the computer no longer recognizes that a fullscreen video is playing so it goes to screen saver, and goes to sleep at its normally timed intervals.

    If you're using higher DPI settings, please check "Disable display scaling on high DPI settings" on 'firefox.exe' (=> right-click - Properties - Compatibility tab).

  • Podcast app no longer auto-plays next episode. Is this a setting that I can change?

    After updating to iOS6 and downloading the app update, the the next episode in the "unplayed episode" list no longer auto-plays. I really liked that feature and would like to be able to turn it on again. Any one know if there is a setting and where it is? I've tried to find it to no avail. Thanks!

    Anyone has a solution for this ?
    I like to listen to podcasts in my car. But my favorite podcasts last 4-6 minutes and the iPhone is in the glovebox
    Needless to say I had to stop listening to podcasts since the podcast App took over the music app.

  • Video playlists no longer auto-playing (4.3)

    I've noticed that my music video playlists no longer auto-play from one song to the the next with the latest OS update (iPhone 4.3, Apple TV 4.2). Basically, a music video stops and the next one doesn't start until I press play again.
    Any solutions?

    I have the same problem.
    I am using an iPhone 4 (iOS 4.3) and various Apple TVs (4.2).
    When i start a playlist with music videos from the iTunes store, the first video will be played on the Apple TV and then Apple TV plays this Video again but "repeat" is not selected. Actually the next clip in the list shut be played. Seems to be a bug :-(

  • Wifi: No longer auto log-in to home wireless network

    My late 2011 MBP (10.7.3) is no longer auto logging in to my home network.
    I finally got round to upgrading my old (like 8 years) modem/router for a current model D-Link Wireless N ADSL2+ DSL-2740R. link (I think this just replaced the previous model of the same name.) I gave the network the same name as my 8-year-old one and the same login password.
    Everything works fine and wifi is WAY faster. Wired connections are great.
    But I can no longer persuade my MBP to auto log-in to my home network. Every time I wake my MBP from sleep I now have manually to pull down on the wifi menu (network) list and locate my home network again. I tried re-ordering the list to put my home network at the top of the preferred list of networks but the problem persists. It was working just fine before the change and always auto-logged-in to my home network upon awaking from sleep or booting.

    It looks like manually deleting my whole preferred network list and then re-adding my home network may have done the trick.

  • Podcasts no longer "Auto Delete"

    Hello,
    Wasn't sure which forum was best for this but just wanted to voice my frustration with Itunes 7.7 and the fact that my podcasts no longer "Auto-Delete" after being played. I checked my settings for each podcast and they are still set to "AUto-Delete". If anyone has any suggestions, please respond.
    Thanks!

    The auto-delete functionality in iTunes refers to deleting the podcasts from your computer. The control for removing played podcasts from the device is on the podcasts tab available when the device is attached.
    Whether or not podcasts are auto-deleted from you computer is based on the podcasts settings in iTunes. The settings button is on the bottom of the podcasts page (next to the undelete button). In the popup window under "Settings for:", select "Podcast Defaults" to change to default for all podcasts, or a specific podcast that you want to behave differently from the default settings.
    When choosing "Podcast Defaults", the two selections at the bottom of the window will be unlocked. When choosing any single podcast, uncheck the "Use Defaults" checkbox to unlock these fields.
    Changing the selection "When new episodes are available:" will affect how many (zero, one, or all) podcasts to download.
    Changing the selection "Episodes to keep:" will affect which, if any, podcasts are auto-deleted.
    As to removing podcasts from the device, this changed for me with the most recent update to the iPod software. Podcasts are removed from the iPhone if they have been played, but they remain on the iPod until they have been deleted from iTunes. I have not experienced a case where a podcast persisted on the device after it was deleted from the computer. I am hopeful that Apple will fix this with the next iPod software update.

  • Why do podcasts no longer auto-delete in new v10.6.3.25 on Dell laptop Win7 despite menu settings

    Why do podcasts no longer auto-delete in new v10.6.3.25 on Dell laptop Win7 despite menu settings?
    tks

    Found the error and posted a blog post here: http://www.red-abstract.com/blog/2009/11/19/itunes-90-and-auto-deleting-podcasts .html
    The issue is that Apple put this behind another layer of configuration on the podcasts screen. Go to that screen and click "Settings." You will see there that you can configure the podcasts individually or set the defaults to remove played episodes. Only after setting this will iTunes honor to auto-delete.

    HI,
    In Message Menu > Preference > Accounts you should at least have the iMessage Account (Which is Enabled) and th Bonjour one that most likely is not.
    After that if you had iChat type AIM valid Screen Names or Jabber IDs in an earlier OS then the System Preferences > Mail, Contacts and Calendars should list them and have them set to be used with Messages.
    There is a vague chance that you have not set these up yet (you can do it in Messages or Mail, Contacts and Calendars)
    Once you have a t least one other "Account" other than th iMessage one in Messages then the Buddy List option will appear next to CMD and 1 in the Window menu list.
    NEXT
    If you go to the General Section of the Messages Preferences you can unlink several Buddy lists if you have them (By default they are shown as one gathered Buddy list)
    I Have several Accounts logged in (AIM valid and Jabber ones)
    Uploaded with Skitch!
    And I separate them in to individual lists which then gives me this in the Window Menu

  • Airport preferred networks no longer auto-connect

    So I am wondering if there are other OSX users that are running into a similar problem I am finding.
    I travel a lot and there are a few hotel hotspots that get added to my list of preferred networks.
    But as the list grows, even by one, I no longer auto connect to my home network and now my work network.
    I know how to clear up the problem but it is annoying that it happens in the first place.
    I like to get a show of hands of others that run in to the problem.
    cheers,
    Noah

    So I am not the only one.
    I've noticed that if I connect my Macbook Pro to my home Network using Airport and then decide to move the computer close to the 4 port router and hook up via Ethernet (the need for speed), the next time I use wireless I have a **** of a time trying to get it to connect wirelessly. On one occasion I spent an hour trying to get it to connect and when if finally did I couldn't see that I did anything different. It was like the MBP was going "Yeah OK buddy, I'll connect when I am good and ready". Damit, the MBP nearly became a frisbie.

  • Macbook Pro no longer auto-connects to preferred network

    The title says it.
    While my computer connects automatically to some (maybe all but one) of my preferred networks, it now does not connect, annoyingly, to the one I use the most often (let's call it NET).
    I've triple checked that it's preferred and should connect automatically, and the computer remembers the password, so that if I manually select NET, it connects no problem. But:
    a) It won't auto-connect to NET, and
    b) If I turn my computer on, when it presents the list of networks to me, I have to wait for it to reload the list, cause if I click on NET originally, it doesn't connect, and I have to refresh the list and try again.
    c) Figured that might mean that it's just taking longer to load the networks and is showing me a list before it's actually picked up on the networks, but waiting forever doesn't make it autoconnect; it just refreshes the list.
    Any ideas? This is a huge pain.

    No idea. You could try deleting the file
    /Library/Preferences/SystemConfiguration/com.apple.airport.preferences.plist
    ... and restart your Mac.
    To find that file quickly, select the above path (triple-click the line), control-click to bring up the contextual menu, and select Services > Reveal. Drag that file to the Desktop, or directly to the Trash.
    This will completely erase your AirPort network preferences, requiring that you select your Wi-Fi network and authenticate again.
    What OS X version are you using, and are you using an Apple AirPort Base Station, or a third party product?

  • Time Machine will no longer auto shutoff HDD

    I am running OS X 10.9.2 and I have a Seagate 1TB External HDD. Before Maverick my Time Machine would back up to my Seagate and then turn the HDD off automatically and then turn back on when it would do its next backup. Now my Seagate stays running 24/7 until I unmount the drive. How can I get it to Auto shutoff and on again.
    I have the HDD attached by FireWire.

    I have a FW800 1TB external drive for my Time Machine and yeah... I've noticed the logo is spinning all the time now with Mavericks.  What is that all about?  Is there no longer any rest for the TM drive?  I could've sworn it used to do a daily backaup in the middle of the night... now it seems like its "running" all the time.  This is almost a certain plan for an early drive burnout if its backing up every second.
    Can we manually shut it down in the morning and turn it back on for a backup at night?  Preferences says its doing "Hourly" backups for the past 24 hours, then Daily backups for the past month, and Weekly backups for all previous months, with oldest backups deleted when the disk becomes full.  Can that be set to just daily backups instead of hourly?

  • ITunes Home Sharing No Longer Auto-Plays On The iPad?

    I have my movies on an external G-Drive connected to my Mac with FireWire.
    iTunes has Home sharing on using an Airport Extreme.  On the iPad when I select
    the Shared Tab, my movie collection cover art begins to load as normal.  Then I
    Select a movie and the cover art is displayed on the right and the movie info on the
    left.
    The problem is when I select the play button from that screen. The iPad screen goes
    black and nothing else happens?
    If I tap on the black iPad screen the movie controllers then pop up and if I hit play then
    it begins to play.  It used to play automatically right after I selected play from the splash screen.
    Any suggestions?

    It appears that the buffering is taking an unsual longer time to load everything and this may be preventing the auto play from playing the movie as instant as possible.
    I also noticed that if I go to edit a movie file on itunes it is taking a bit longer for the selected file to pop up for my edit.
