Let's start with what you are trying to install. Adobe Reader is free, so it won't be forcing you to buy anything. So
- What are you trying to install (full name, please, Adobe make lots of things)
- What system (e.g. Windows 7, Mac OS Lion, iPad...)
- Where do you go (what web address) to start off?
- Why were you "forced" to do this?

I clicked on iMessage on my Macbook Pro today for the first time, and now NOTES keeps opening up every 5 seconds, with a new note. I cannot stop it from opening. If I close it or force close, it opens again in 5 seconds. I can't get rid of it. I have tried to clear out the iMessage settings I had put in, and I've tried to adjust the Accounts to not include notes to synch. But, Notes will not stop. It opens a new note, and even if you ignore it, it assumes preference every 5 seconds, and the Mac is impossible to use.
Do you have any Boot Camp or other secondary partitions set up on your system? If so then try running a disk verification routine (chkdsk, etc.) in Windows to repair the disk. While I've not heard of it happening recently, in the past errors in these partitions have resulted in stubborn ghost files appearing in OS X.

Hold down the home and lock buttons until you see an Apple Logo, then release the buttons.
If that doesn't work, you should check to see if you have a backup because you may have to restore your device. -

Try a device reset and start over again with the setup.
Device Reset (won't affect settings/data/music/apps/etc)
1. Press and hold (& continue to hold) BOTH the Sleep/Wake button & the Home button.
2. Continue to hold BOTH (ignoring any other messages that may show) until you see the Apple logo on the screen.
3. Release BOTH buttons when you see the Apple logo and allow the device to boot normally.
Re-reading the post, I now see your issue more clearly...can you rotate the screen (be sure Orientation Lock is disabled) to have the "agree" tap-able section in a different physical place (out of the bad section) on the screen so the bad part of the screen will be in a different area? Give that a try.

PURE MICROSOFT ACCOUNT NO OTHER ACCOUNT LINKING.I had to change the primary mail of that account.I was told "no can do" by skype support.I found that if I went to account settings and clicked on the link on the line below the one that said "MICROSOFT etc" (labeled something along the lines of "TV or Device") I got the opportunity to set the password of the "live:username" account (WHICH YOU COINCIDENTALLY HAVE TO DO IF YOU WANT TO USE SMART TVs ETC).Once that was done, I COULD SUCCESSFULLY DO WHAT SKYPE SUPPORT SAID WAS IMPOSSIBLE- I could change the primary mail address. once that was done, and NOT BEFORE, I linked the account to a facebook account as well, just to be sure I have more than one way to access the skype account. You can bypass the password and wipe the drive and return to the original facory installation if the seller included the orginal install DVDs with the Mac mini. If not you will need a retail version of Mac OS X. To boot from the Install DVD restart the mini, immediately slip in the DVD and press and hold the C key.

Without the correct password you are not going to be able to get into the drive. I recommend you try to remember the password or you will have to erase the drive in order to use it again. -

The only time I've ever seen that happen is when creating a NetBoot volume from an Install DVD, and forgetting to create a user account. This leaves the system in a state where you can't log in, because there is no account to log in to.

Want to play tv shows purchased on iPad on Apple tv. When I touch icon for apple tv and choose "apple tv" it asks for an apple tv password. We have never set up any password and can't get past this screen. Does anyone know how to find this password?
You can remove the Airplay password from the Settings menu on your AppleTV.

I have downloaded Adobe Reader and the file says it is "finished" but I cannot open the files. I get a message that I must install Adobe, agree to terms and conditions and restart my computer.
I have done this several times but get the same result. I am using a new Mac Book Pro.

Keep in mind, you can't complain about having CM7 messed up from webOS updates. CM7 is not supported on this hardware by HP. CM7 is all on you.
There was no webOS upgrade in your case. The upgrade was stopped midstream, possibly damaging the TouchPad.
I asked 'why did you do that', because I actually want to know why in the world anyone would ever stop a firmware upgrade. It's like teasing a crocodile with chicken meat and wondering why it bit your hand off. You seem to know your way around technology, so I can't understand why you'd stop a firmware upgrade. I'm sure you know how dangerous that is. I did, in fact, provide a constructive suggestion. But not a solution, because I don't know of one. I haven't run across anyone who stopped their TP's upgrade process midstream. I am sure it's happened before somewhere, I just don't know about it. -

What do you mean by unlock the screen? Is there a passcode set on the iPhone? If so and this is from a family member, can that family member give you the passcode? If it has been forgotten then you must retore from recovery mode per http://support.apple.com/kb/HT1212

Stuck in single user mode and can not get past it
I am experiencing a problem I recently had lent me a Mac g4 tower. I decided to upgrade to tiger and accidentally set the start-up preference to the disc, every time I boot up it goes into single user mode, if I boot up holding the option key it brings up 3 icons on the right is an arrow in a circle formation which is refresh at a guess in the middle is the hard drive which is depressed kind of thing and on the right is a straight arrow. I have tried selecting each of these individually and even pressing enter all but the refresh icon goes back into single user mode. When the disc is in and I go to this it does not ring up the disc as an option.
I have zapped the PRAM reset the CUDA button and even telling it to reset the NRAM etc.
I have tried it with the disk in and out and all paths lead to the same outcome it starts up I hear the tone and the screen goes grey with an apple icon on then it goes to lack screen saying localhost:/root#.
I have also used the (fsck –fy) in single user mode to scan the disk and it says it appears to be ok. I have done all these steps multiple times but I am still getting the same outcome.
I have also tried pulling the logic battery and pressing the cuda switch and leaving it to stand and even pulling the RAM but this has not worked and I am still getting the same out come of been put straight in to single user mode.
I have tried starting up in safe mode but again this just goes to single user mode as well.
As yet I have not tried booting up using this machine as a slave drive or using another Mac as a slave drive and seeing what this out come does as I have not got access to another Mac at this time.
Unfortunately I do not have the original discs that came with the machine either so can not even boot from them.
Any other ideas would be greatly appreciated thank you.

I have tried several key commands such has D, C and even holding (option, command, shift and delete) when i do this it just brings up a folder with two changing flashing icons.Ok checked them out and followed the instructions given, but still getting the same outcome, looked at the system log and it tells me.

You may have installed the "Downlite" or "VSearch" ad-injection malware. Follow the instructions on this Apple Support page to remove it.
Back up all data before making any changes.
