Premiere CC 2014 unexpectedly quits every time I close a project. We edit a lot of high end commercial work and everyone in the office has the same problem. Not impressed, seems so unstable.
I don't think the smartest PP person at Adobe could help you without more information.
What if the tables were turned and I was asking your question and you were an Adobe PP expert.

Adobe Premiere CC 2014, regularly licensed (Mac Pro early 2008, Mac OSX 10.9.5, Graphic Card: NVIDIA GeForce 8800 GT 512 MB).
Hi guys,
since the CC2014 version of Premiere has been released (on Creative Cloud) I'm experiencing - really often - the MEDIA PENDING (yellow background) issue... even if the clip can be found right clicking and selecting "reveal in finder" or "reveal in project", in the timeline the clip can't be played. Not to mention the many many problems the app is causing stopping working suddenly and obligating me to restart the system to have it regularly working again (usually it stops reproducing the video, only the audio stays alive, but the playhead seems freezes there where I left it).
One more problem: all the app (and customized) keyboard shortcuts are gone. Totally disappeared (this happened just after the last update, CC v8.1 Caravan. Synching from CC was unsuccessful.
Please don't suggest me to contact the adobe italian service to have an help... the last time (almost the same problem) they just made me lose time with some basic procedure checks that I knew were not leading me anywhere.
I ask sorry for my polemic tone, it's a few months that Adobe Premiere is not working anymore as before. And you can't immagine how many hours I've lost.

Guys, would you suggest me a new graphic card (in case, which model on this Mac - would be great a 4 or 6 MB VRAM GPU) or a new Mac Pro? This is still a great machine, but it's starting becoming unusable due to this Premiere issue (that is day by day more severe).

Adobe Premiere CC 2014 causing MBPr Crash
I've been having issues for the past three days with Adobe Premiere CC 2014 causing an entire system crash. I'll be editing or trying to render, and the computer will freeze, no beach ball, no cursor. The screen freezes for a while, then goes to black, then will open up my login window after what seems like a restart although there is no apple logo or the startup sound.
This is happening on OSX 10.9.5 (I was delaying upgrading to Yosemite to avoid instability issues). I've done the most recent update of Premiere CC 2014 (as of 1/2/2015)

So I uninstalled all apps. Upon restart, Windows notified me of some additional windows updates that didnt show up yesterday. I ran them and now should be up to date as i thought i had already done. Re installed Premiere 2014 and it seems to run! Not sure if it was the windows update or the re installation. All seems to be working at this point, but if anyone has any additional input that would be great as I am a little unsure of what the fix may have been.
Will post back here if I have any changes on this....

"Adobe Premiere Pro 2014.1 has stopped working" Open Project Error
Hey, everyone.
I recently tried to re-open a project file that I created earlier today. As soon as it loads, the familiar "Adobe Premiere Pro 2014.1 has stopped working" window comes up.
I created a new project file and it seemed to work fine. When I first started this project, I was having trouble using a ".m2ts" AVCHD movie file (PPro would crash in a similar manner), so I used Media Encoder to change it to a ".mov" Quicktime file. Seemed to work fine after I did that. This new issue only arose once I tried to re-open the project file after shutting down the computer.
Got any suggestions?

After I purchased the creative cloud, I receive an error message when trying to use premier pro cc 2014. It states "Adobe Premiere Pro 2014.2 has stopped working. A problem has caused it to stop working. Windows will close the program and notify you of a solution." When I used the trial I never received this message. Now after purchasing it I receive this error each time I open PP and am unable to use. it. Any ideas or support to fix this issue?
What does the detailed crash report say?
And have you updated your video card drivers from the GPU maker's website? (most crashes on launch are due to bugs in out of date video card drivers) -

Can Adobe Premiere CC 2014 be Installed as a Stand-Alone Upgrade without having to conflict with an Adobe CC suite on a given machine?
Yes, I have PrP CS6, CC and CC2014 all currently available on my system. The only pain I've experienced is that project files insist on opening in CC2014 even though I am wanting to primarily work in CC. If I tell the system to always open ALL .prproj files in CC, it seems to be very inconsistent and typically opens in CC2014.
CC2014 creates a new, separate app file and all (most?) prefs are stored in 8.0 folders. -

Uninstall.
Go to Creative Cloud App and set in the Preferences, Language of the App to English.
Re-install.
I know there is a simpler way by changing a file extention in the root. But I dont know which file and what extention to change to.

This supports the plan this thing Complete - For New CustomersI don't know if it's the same problem, but when I open my computer and lunch Premiere Pro CC 2014, i have to wait between 5 to 10 minutes to see some media in preview and program monitor. All the files in the project bin are "pending" and I have the super beachball. After the waiting time, everything become perfect and I can close and open Adobe Premiere like I want. Just don't have to shut down the mac. If I shut down the mac, I'll have to wait again...
It's a real problem that I have since I upgraded to Yosemite and CC2014. did a clean reinstall and still have the same problem.
I have a iMac 3,4 GHz Intel Core i7, 32g Ram, SSD.
Let me know if you have the same problem because right now, when I did some search on the web, I found nothing! -
In adobe premiere cc 2014 , in the version for Apple , there is the " dynamics" in the audiometer / amplitude and compression/dynamics. In the same version for PC , there is no option. Somebody is also having this problem ? tks
are you referring to the audio meters panel? im on windows, and i can right click the meters panel and get options for "dynamic peaks". there are audio effects, from the effects panel if thats what you are looking for? i have one named "Dynamics" as well as several compressors.

Problems accessing full version of Adobe Premiere CC 2014
Yesterday I purchased the complete student addition of creative cloud special offer at $15.99. After completing my purchase I signed into creative cloud with my Adobe ID and installed Adobe Premiere CC 2014 from the apps menu. After installing it, it asked me to start the trial, which doesn't make sense because I bought the program as part of the creative cloud complete package. I should get the full version, so what is the issue?

Does anyone know when the next update for Adobe Premiere CC 2014.1 release might be days, weeks or months?
Hopefully days - because I've stopped using CC2014 until the 'cool' flat blue phone app colour scheme is removed.
I'll be an ex-customer at the end of January if I remain unable to work with it.
After 21 years, it seems a bit sad.
