Originally we had 2xiphone 4s we upgraded both phones so I backed up both before hand. When we got the new phone 1x 5c and 1 x 5s. I restored mine first 5c then did my partners 5s but he now has the same apps as me with my Apple ID. How do I change it so his apps are on his own Apple ID??

No. You need to buy it for your Apple ID and for the other. You will have problems with updates

You can use separate AppleIDs for iCloud, iMessage and iTunes - you just need to create unique AppleIDs for the iCloud accounts if syncing contacts that way (you will need an email address that is not already registered as an AppleID though to get another AppleID).
Apps are a different matter in that purchases are tied to the AppleID used to log in to the store to make the purchase. So you can create another AppleID for iTunes as well and use different ones on the different phones, but any apps you have already purchased with your existing AppleID are permanently tied to that AppleID.
Really, unless you are sharing apps, content and such, there is no reason to use the same AppleID on each anyway. So the simplest solution is to create new AppleID(s) for the second device. If you need an email address to do that, just get a gmail account (or hotmail, yahoo or any other free email account).

Sync your iPhone to iTunes, and see if that does the trick. Also you could try a Soft Reset with no Risk to Data. Holding down both the Sleep button and the Home button until the Apple logo appears and then waiting for the Reset to bring you iPhone back to the lock screen. Are you trying to add the email at Settings>Messages>Send and Receive from (2 Addresses) your iPhone number and your email address?

On the device that you don't want the apps to be downloaded on, go to Settings > iTunes & App Stores > Automatic Downloads. Once you turn that off, your problem will be fixed.

The way to keep the photos from downloading to your wife's phone would be for her to go to Settings > iCloud > Photos > and turn off iCloud Photo Library. If you both have the same email account, there's no setting on iPad you can use. When a message is deleted, it's deleted from the mail account server, which will happen on both devices.

I have had an Apple ID for a few years now under a Hotmail email. Recently I got a Me account and I want to change my primary email address on my Apple ID to this new Me email address as I no longer use the Hotmail email.
However, when I try and change it, it simply states "This domain name is reserved for MobileMe accounts."

Unless you have a version with multiple serial numbers provided then you cannot install it on other computers. Otherwise, use the installer on the DVD or downloaded disc image. Register each installation with one of the additional serial numbers received with your original purchase.

Two issues. As Rudegar says, there is nothing you can do to use the phone without the cooperation of whoever owns the Apple ID the phone is locked to.
The other issue is that since you got a replacement from your insurance company the found phone legally belongs to the insurance company.

Two Hard Drives on my computer - one totally full the other totally empty - how do I manage this - windows 8

Hi I have two hard drives on my computer running Windows 8. One is called OS (C:) and has 10.2GB free of 186GB, the other is Data (D:) and has 258GB of 258GB free.
I have just tried to update to Windows 8.1 and have had an error message saying there is not enough space on the OS drive to update as it needs 20GB.
What do I do about this? how do I get to use the 258GB of free space on the Data drive?

In addition to the above information,
If your operating system is Windows 2008 and higher(Server) or Windows Vista and higher(Client).
Then you can use the native tool Disk Management to solve your requirement.
For opening Disk Management, Right click -> Computer -> Select Manage -> As result Computer Management console opens -> In the left pane under storage select Disk Management.
In the Disk Management, for extending your C: drive,
- Since your partition layout as, C: drive | D: drive.
- After shrinking D: drive, the layout will be C: drive | D: drive | Unallocated space.
- Since the unallocated space is not contiguous, when you right-click C: drive the "Extend Volume" option will be greyed out.
- So to solve your requirement, you have to backup the data on D: drive -> Delete D: drive -> right-click on the c drive and select "Extend Volume" -> enter the size you want to add
- Finally you can create a new D: drive from the remaining unallocated space and restore the backup data.

Ok so I wanted to buy this movie, I accidentally bought the SD and HD version. One version loaded but now the other one won't. I tried turning my phone off and restarting it, that didn't help. I put my password in and that didn't help. All it says is that it is waiting to download. Each time I go into the iTunes Store it asks for my password. What is the file type of the label on your desktop? How did you create it? How did you copy it?
This may work. In TextEdit, make the document Rich Text.
I copied a screen shot from my desktop and that pasted into TextEdit. I don't know what else will paste.

When receiving phone calls, the background apps play through the speaker making it impossible to hear the person on the other line. How do i fix this? This started happening on my iphone 4 and now i have the same problem with my iphone 4s.

I once had a phone call in the middle of a trip. I was listening to my music and phone rang. It was work calling. I answered the phone and the music continued to play. I had to tell the person to hold, then i had to use multitask to find the app and manually turn it off. Once that was done, i retrurned to the phone call to find out that when i receive an email it too plays through the speaker while i am on the phone. Why wouldn't it mute these things while i am making a phone call? Is there a setting for this? It seems to me that this only happened since IOS 5, but i can't be 100%. What i am 100% on is the fact that it happened on my Iphone 4 and is now happening on my Iphone 4s.

Go to settings-store-and turn off automatic downloads. Then go to settings-icloud or settings-mail contacts and calendar (which ever one shares an account between the devices) and turn off contact syncing on the phone that you dont want it to sync to.
