We have version 10.5.8 photoshop CS3 for Mac. How do we fix a problem with photoshop not resizing dpi? For example we resized a 72 dpi image to 200 dpi, when we do a pdf analysis it read as 344 dpi.

Sounds like it's a problem with the Acrobat settings. Did you set them to the same resolution?

If Firefox opens up fine with no problems, it's probably one of your extensions that's causing the issue. You can re-enable your add-ons one by one until you find the one that causes the issue upon being re-enabled.

How do I fix this problem placing Photoshop TIFF into InDesign?

I am trying to place a Photoshop TIFF into an InDesign document but I am getting a pixelated/jagged version of the TIFF. What could be causing this? The original art looks fine in Photoshop. It is a TIFF of less than 8 MB, CMYK, about 3.5 by 3.5 inches. It includes image and text both created in Photoshop. When placed into an InDesign file, the art looks awful and the text is even worse. The text can barely be deciphered. I tried exporting the TIFF to PDF and placing that file, but it also looks bad.
Any solutions anyone?

How it looks in ID is basically irrelevant. How does it look in print or an exported PDF? Did you scale the image in ID?
In Photoshop, which is a pixel editior, you are viewing the actual image pixels. In ID, which is a page layout app, you are looking at a screen preview jpeg that may or may not look terrific, depending on the image. If you've scaled the image you are chagning the "effective resolution" and it may not be high enough. You didn't mention waht it was in Photoshop at the saved dimensions, so it's hard to know if there was ever enough resolution to prevent jaggies. It's highly unlikely that text created in photoshop will NOT look pixelated unless the effective resolution is well north of 600 ppi.

Bookmarks can appear to be lost when there is a problem with the file that stores the bookmarks, in this case that is the places.sqlite file.
You can check the places.sqlite database file with this extension.

If that didn't help then try to remove all places files in the Firefox profile folder and that includes It is possible temporary SQLite files like places.sqlite-shm and places.sqlite-wal besieds the places.sqlite file.
Remove all places.sqlite file(s) in the Firefox profile folder to make Firefox rebuild the places.sqlite database from the most recent JSON backup (bookmarks-####-##-##_xxxx_$$.jsonlz4) in the bookmarkbackups folder.
If that didn't work then you can restore the bookmarks from a compressed .jsonlz4 backup in the bookmarkbackups folder.
The xxxx in the "bookmarks-####-##-##_xxxx_$$.jsonlz4" name denotes the total number of bookmarks (folders and separators included) stored in the file.

Every time I select a favorite or try to open new web sight a warning pops up asking me if I want to open the selected web page. I have to answer several questions to open it up. I had to reload FireFox, and since then I have had nothing but problems.

Firefox itself does not normally ask you to confirm that you wish to open a website.
It seems likely that you have some other software installed, possibly some part of a suite of security programs, or [[firewalls|firewall]] that is causing this problem. Possibly your security software; or whatever; recognised the original Firefox version, but not the new version. You may need to review the settings.

If Layers is greyed out it possibly means that you are in Quick Mode. Select 'Expert' and all the options should become available.
Try permanently associating psd files with C:\Program Files (x86)\Adobe\Photoshop Elements 12\PhotoshopElementsEditor.exe and see if that fixes the issue. Instructions here - http://windows.microsoft.com/en-gb/windows-8/choose-programs-windows-uses-default.

Thanks for your message. You can custom set pages but there are no preset of page sizes like A4, A3, ect. I cannot click the size preference, nothing comes up
