I had purchased an iPhone 5 last month and got the OS updated to iOS 7, yesterday.
The data cable was of very bad quality and when I took it to the retailer for replacement, they said that its not covered under the one year warranty.
Secondly, I have also been experiencing network coverage issues with this phone. So, I decided to contact apple care through the web. Does anybody have any idea what the reason behind this could be.

If you purchased the iPhone from Apple or an authorized Apple reseller,
contact them for assistance. If you purchased elsewhere, go back
to that retailer and get them to give you a new iPhone or your money
back.

In most cases, what you said is true...however, this is not always the case. Take myself for example...
1: I posted my phone online to sell
2: Someone saw my serial number and called AppleCare to get a replacement phone
3: An inferior AppleCare representative bypassed a component validation (check serial number to the device on hand) and approved the replacement under my AppleCare plan.
4: After noticing this (about 4 days after it happened) and a trip to Apple and a call to AppleCare, all was resolved. My phone is back to being covered under AppleCare+
5: I learned my lesson.
So, as you can see, there is a chance that it can be something else. Although, if the person selling the phone notices, it shouldn't take long to resolve it. Chances are that it is what you said.

Well, when you purchase from a non-official source you run the risk of getting who knows what from wherever. It appears this phone was replaced under warranty at some point, but not returned to Apple for refurbishment. Thus, the SN is no longer valid for warranty & service. If you can return it and get your money back, I'd suggest you do so.

What carrier did you buy it from? Are they on this list? http://support.apple.com/kb/HT1937?viewlocale=en_US&locale=en_US
If they are on that list and you have the original receipt from them showing the serial number, they may be able to correct the error in the Apple database.
If they're not on that list, you were sold a black market phone.

when i restore my phone.. i am the original woner of the iphone. how come when i back from oversea, and update the firmware.. the iphone suddenly become not working.

I never JB or hacked, just updated the firmware and download the latest itunes.
having said that, i search my IMEI on some website which shows my iphone IMEI has been replaced..

Sorry, but there's nothing anyone here can do to help you. You'll need to go back to the dealer from whom you purchased the iPhone. If they cannot or will not help you, if if the dealer is an authorized Vinaphone or Viettel outlet, it's possible that the carrier can help if you contact them. If, however, the store you purchased from was not an authorized outlet for those carriers, then you purchased from an unauthorized dealer and no one other than that reseller can help you. You quite possibly purchased an iPhone that was stolen or returned as defective and then illegally resold.
Good luck with the dealer; you'll need it, I fear.

Can I get the serial number for a printer that has been stolen?

I know that when I got the printer, I did an online registration. Is any of that information available?
I purchased it from Staples and I am looking for the receipt but no luck yet.

If you registered the product you should be able to find the information through HP's registration information page here. I just checked mine and it had devices going back about 10 years with the product types and serial numbers.

Not on iCloud itself - what you need is 'iTunes Match' which seeks to find versions in the Store of songs you already have, and failing that allows you to upload your own copies. This will cost you $24.99 per year; it does not count towards your 5GB free iCloud space. Limit 25,000 songs (purchased songs do not count towards this limit). You will need iTunes 10.5.1 or later on your Mac or PC and iOS 5.0.1 or later on your iPhone 3GS or later, iPod touch (3rd and 4th generation), or iPad.

Need Serial Number for CS6 Production Premium Adobe Customer service please help

I can't find my original post but any way I had to replace my C; drive and pulled up my Serial Numbers from all my Adobe products for CS 5 photoshop only all the way to CS 5 Production Preminum the CS 5.5 but my problem is I was using CS 6 PP before I switched out my hard drive. And on Abobe Web site for my products it has CS 6 with no serial number and MAC. I do not own a MAC but still CS 6 has no serial number. I think the last upgrade was through Videoguys because they had a special and didnt get register. Anyway how do I get my serial number for CS6 PP.
1. If I put back in my old hard drive is there a location were I can get my serial number?
2. Or Adobe can you update your records?
3. Or can you give me a new serial number?

Warranty on iphone that has been replaced

I bought an Iphone 5 sprint. It suppose to have warrenty. But when I check the serial number on apple website it says this device has been replaced. The iphone has problem now and does not stay on. I thought I really could use some warrenty just now.
Does that mean I'm screwed again? :-(

Only iTunes content and photos transferred from another computer is affected when transferring iTunes content and photos from a different computer. Contacts aren't touched unless you choose to sync contacts with a supported address book app. Messages aren't included with the iTunes sync process and the same for photos/videos in the iPhone's Camera Roll.
