Web administration problem

i am an student that is the webmaster for an elementary
school. we use contribute and have for a couple of years. all of a
sudden when i choose 'administer website' i get an error message
(no number or anything) "your version of contribute is too old to
administer this website". we are using 3.0 as schools never have
money to upgrade. am i really cut off???? publishing works ok, but
i am really in a bind. any help is appreciated. no school staff no
anything about the software- i am on my own.

I'm having the same problem. I edit 2 different websites from
the same Contribute 3 consloe. Without warning or error messages, I
suddenly was unable to publish edited pages for one of the web
sites. I noticed I had no connection, and I was no longer
recognized as Administrator. I tried editing the connection with no
luck, so I deleted the connection and tried to reestablish a
connection using the known user neame and password. The program
does not recognize me..... What to do??? This is only effecting one
of the two websites on this consloe. What gives?

  • WRV210 web administration problem

I have a Wireless G VPN Router with Range booster, it was configured for a classroom by someone who left the company, and now i have to recover administration without resetting configuration or flashing the firmware. This because i need to configure 200 more devices with the same problem.
All i want is to see the web page of this device properly.
Belive me i have tried every option Internet Explorer 7 on windows 7, Internet Explorer from Windows XP, Firefox 6, Google-Chroome.
All with the last version of Java Runtime Environment, the resulting page is always the same.

I tried accesing with the cd, and magicly the web page worked fine once more
and then back to the broken page.
At least i got to recover the web access once.

    Hi,
For the profiler problem : you need to add the profiler repository to the web admin too (you can do this in the tree Management/Repositories). Next you need a webadmin user that is linked to this repo, you could use the admin user for that, just check in Management/Users that for this user the profiler repo is attached.
Once this is set up in the management console, from within the designer, you can connect to the Profiling services using the web administrator's server name and port (e.g. localhost:28080) and the web admin user and password (e.g. admin/admin).
For your second problem : please check the connection to the repo (I assume you added the direpo already to the web admin) . Again in the tree Management/Repositories go to the local repository connection you created and check the connection (there is a test button). If the connection is correct, you will see the job history (empty if there are no job executions), in the configuration page you will see a list of all jobs and can execute or schedule a job.
    Hope this helps...

  • BPC 7.5 Web Administration / Set App Params asks for AntiXSSLib 1.5

Hi. We have now installed BPC 7.5 in our test environment, but are facing a problem.
According to the installation guide, we have installed Microsoft AntiCross Site Scripting Library 3.0 on our app/web-servers.
But when trying to enter "Set Application Parameters" in the Web Administration tool, we get an error quite not expected:
Any ideas of why it asks for v1.5, which were used by BPC 5.1?

    Hi Malin,
You are having a problem with you AntiSssLibrary.dll. Either it is not installed correctly or it is corrupted or in the wrong version.
You can take the following steps to ensure that you have a fully functional version of  the Microsoft Anti-Cross Site Scripting Library:
    1) Download the Microsoft Anti-Cross Site Scripting Library V1.5 from http://www.microsoft.com/downloads/details.aspx?FamilyId=EFB9C819-53FF-4F82-BFAF-E11625130C25&displaylang=en
    2) Uninstall the current version of Microsoft Anti-Cross Site Scripting Library and remove any AntiXssLibrary.dll file from your server;
    3) Install the version that you have downloaded from the MS website;
    4) Copy the AntiXssLibrary.dll file from C:\Program Files\Microsoft Corporation\Anti-Cross Site Scripting Library V1.5\Library\.NET 1.1\   (Make sure that you're copying from the .NET 1.1 folder, not 2.0);
    5) Paste it under your \BPC\Websrvr\Web\bin folder and restart IIS.
    Best regards,
    Rodrigo

  • Can't Access the web administration page

    Hello,
I have a new Linksys router that I installed a few months ago.  I am trying to connect my PS3 using wireless.  the PS3 sees the access point SSID, but keeps failing to connect.  I have double/triple check the WEP2 key and it is correct.  I am also having problems accessing the web administration page.  I keep getting page not found.  I don't think that I have access the web administration page since I set it up.  I can ping the router, so I know that its up, along with getting out to the Internet, I have used NMAP and scanned the router, but only 10080 is open (PS3) port.  I assume that the default URL for the web administration page is http://192.168.1.1.  There is no port needed to put in the URL is there?  Also, since NMAP showed no ports open does that mean that the web server in the router is not listen?  If so how do I connect without having to reset the router?
I do have some Cisco Linksys app that shows a GUI of my network, but no adminisration help.
    Thanks,

    Who is your ISP..?
Are you able to go online on the wired computer...?
Make sure the computer is connected to the router on the Ethernet port and check the ip address first...Click Start >> All Programs >> Accessories >> Command Prompt...A black box will appear(Command Prompt)...In the Command Prompt window type ipconfig and press 'Enter'...Look for Ethernet Adapter Local Area Connection IP Address , Subnet Mask and Default Gateway...
IP Address should be 192.168.1.x, Subnet Mask : 255.255.255.0, Default Gateway : 192.168.1.1 (assuming your router is 192.168.1.1)...
If you get the above mentioned IP Address, Subnet and Gateway Address then you should ping the Gateway, type ping 192.168.1.1 and press Enter...If it gives you request timed out then disable any firewalls, security softwares on the computer...
If you get 4 replies then,Adjust the browser settings....Open an IE, click Tools >> Internet Options, then delete all files, cookies, history, forms...Goto "Connections", make sure Never Dial a Connection is checked, click on LAN Settings and make sure all the options are unchecked...Once you are done click on O.k...Close the IE and re-open it...
Now,try to open the setup page again...

I have run Regedit and found two instances of z:rc204D Content\iPad Media\Pictures in keys My Pictures
    These were in
    HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Microsoft\Windows\Explorer\Shell Folders
    and
    HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Microsoft\Windows\Explorer\User Shell Folders
Redirecting these to the default MY PICTURES on the c: drive has allowed the installer to run and almost complete the process to the point of installing the files and putting an icon on the desktop.
It now whinges with Error 1923. Service Acrobat Update Service (AdobeARMService) could not be installed. Verify that you have sufficient privileges to install system services.
I am the only user of the computer and DO have full privileges. I get the same response when I run the installer program as An Administrator.
What else does it require to allow it to install properly?

  • J2EE Engine Web Administration: 404 on /admin/j_security_check

Environment: sneak-preview from June (the latest version), running on a Linux machine.
I'm trying to run the SAP J2EE Engine Web Administration application - i.e. http://b3.lab:50000/admin/LoginForm.jsp .
If I use J2EE_ADMIN/ADMIN for the user/password, I get a 404 screen, for the URL http://b3.lab:50000/admin/j_security_check (The requested resource does not exist.
    Details:
Go to main page of this application!)
Note that this is different from a wrong user or password - in this case I get a http://b3.lab:50000/admin/LoginError.html page with an "incorrect username or password" - which is the expected outcome.
Any idea if the application is supposed to work?
BTW - I'm getting quite a few exceptions on other apps as well. For example - the "PC-shop" -> browse -> printer -> click-any-printer gets the exception below:
    java.lang.NullPointerException

I'm popping up this questions, and raise
Is there any non-trivial J2EE example application that is deployed / can be "tutorially" deployed on the sneak preview Linux version? By non-trivial I mean that it has web, ejb and db portions? (which is pretty modest requirements, I think).
    Thank you,

  • Office Web Apps Server 2013 - Word Web App - Problem with Tab space

Hello We have Office Web Apps Server 2013 running with SharePoint 2013.  Users Editing a Word document with Office Web Apps, can't use "Tabs", any Word document with Tabs; the tabs are replaced with a single space.
Has anyone noticed this?  Is this a bug?
    -thanks
    thomas
    -Tom

Yes, currently the Word Web App does not support
Tab Keyboard shortcut for editing document content .
For more information, you can have a look at
    the article:

  • Fix many web access problems with IFS 9.0.1 on Solaris (and other OS's)...

When the installation is done according to the documentation,
web access does not work because the scripts that add entries to
the jserv.properties file add duplicate references to
    wrapper.env and wrapper.classpath. Look at the jserv.properties
file below and look at the remarked-out (#) lines of the
duplicate references. For example, look at the references to the
    wrapper.env=LD_LIBRARY_PATH
Oracle, please note this bug so the web access problems are
minimized when the product is intstalled.
    Thank you,
    William T.

  • Can't re-add printer after removing from eprint center - 'Web Services Problem'

I have an HP Photosmart Premium C310 series printer (Model Number CN503B) which I have been using with ePrint for about 18 months. Aside from intermittent issues it has worked, I use a chromebook most of the time so rely on the ePrint option via Google Cloud Print.
Last week it stopped working, with every job in the list showing as cancelled. Following advice on the forum I removed the email address of the printer from the eprint center. I thought it would then be simple to add the printer back. However, I have been unable to connect the printer to the web service so I cannot create the code I need to add the printer back.
    STEPS TO REPRODUCE:
    1. Factory reset printer settings
    2. Factory reset network settings
    3. Restart printer and Reboot router
    3. Settings -> Network -> Wireless Setup Wizard
    4. Choose correct SSID, enter password for WPA
    5. ‘Connected to Network’
    6. Settings -> Web -> Enable Web Services
    7. ‘Accept terms’ screen -> Accept
    8. ‘Checking for product updates’ screen shows briefly then returns to 'accept terms' screen
    9. Next it makes a ping sound and shows ‘Web Services Problem’ ‘Problem connecting to Web Services Server’, it then pings again a few seconds later (which ties in with what I see in the network logs as a second attempt)
    10. Log on to printer via web interface and set IP address of printer to manual IP outside DHCP range (as advice on other threads in this forum). Check DNS setting valid (same as gateway server which all other devices on network are also using successfully as DNS)
    11. Repeat steps 6 and 7 - still same error message
I consider myself technically savvy and have followed all advice I can find on this forum including the following:
    1. reverting to printer and network defaults
    2. rebooting router
    3. assigning static IP address to printer outside of DHCP range of router
    4. connecting to printer via web interface and setting DNS to variously: same as gateway, google DNS (8.8.8.8), ISP DNS
    5. adjusting firewall settings on router to explicitly allow and log outbound connection on the HP ports (already had a rule allowing all outbound connections)
As mentioned, the printer worked fine with ePrint previously so I suspect the ePrint server is rejecting a request from my printer for some reason, maybe because there is old / corrupt  data on the server regarding my specific printer.
I’m logging outbound traffic from the printer and here are what the router logs show me (printer IP replaced with 192.168.x.x below, even though it is not public )

Looks like both are HP sites: first is 'g4t2674.houston.hp.com' and the second secure one is ‘registration-pro-site2eprint.houston.hp.com’ which sound likely to be correct. That suggests the DNS is working but that the registration server doesn’t like the request for some reason.
I had the printer registered for Google Cloud Print but I have now deleted that also and it doesn’t seem to have made any difference (assume it just formats and forwards to the HP ePrint email anyway).
One hack that sheds some further light is to switch off wifi on the printer and then switch on ePrint. Eprint gives an error but stays set as 'on'. When I then switch wifi back on I can then at least check for product updates (it tells me I have the latest product updates). However, web services are still a 'no go'. Network traffic for that product update exchange looks like this:

So clearly the printer can communicate to those servers well enough to find it has the latest firmware.
I realise this is a lot of information but hopefully some of it is helpful for troubleshooting.
Thank you in advance for any help!

The issue disappeared this weekend. I didn't change anything so it must have been something server side. I notice others with the same issue have also seen it resolved.
Thanks to all those who contributed and tried to help out. Although disappointed I went for a long time without ePrint I'm glad that action was apparently taken to resolve in the end.

  • HP Color LaserJet CP5520 Series cant sign in to WEB administration

I need to update printer CP5520 firmware, but there no USB port on printer. So, I need to sign in by administrator user into embedded WEB server.
What is USER NAME and PASSWORD for CP5525 series in web administration? How I could setup password?
In user manual there is no instructions setuping administration password at first time. In user manual, on page 66 writed about password changing, but it works, if user is just connected.

  • MPX 2.1.1.2 SSL Certificates doesn't show in the web administration

    Hey guys,
I've uploaded SSL certificates to my MeetingPlace Express installation and I got the error showed in the attached file. "Display Certificate" via the web interface doesn't show anything but under CLI with SSLUtil command I can see that the certificates are actually generated in the system.
Currently the certificates are actullay working when I access the meetingplace via web but I don't have any administration control over them via the web administration. Rebooting the server doesn't help. Anyone experienced similar issue?
    Regards,
    Vladimir

Correct it did work in 1.5. on .sql files, when connected, so I have updated the ER to bug. We also need to expand this to support PL/SQL files.

  • InterMedia Web Agent problems...

I have Oracle 8.1.5 and OAS 4.0.8 on an NT machine. I have installed interMedia Web Agent, having shut the OAS services down first, configured the application as described in the doc and restarted all services. I have one listener for OAS on port 90. When I try to access http://servername:90/intermedia/~admin I get a 'Page cannot be displayed' error. Why?
I have checked all the settings within OAS and they look fine. NT is running SP5. I can access http://servername:90/ fine.
    Any help gratefully received!
    Lee

The interMedia web agent is installed in the
OAS home and you can see the intermedia application and cartridge in the OAS admin page?
Have you checked the OAS wrb.log file? That is where errors should be displayed. If it is a web agent problem, check <windows_dir>wsclstch.err or log files in <OAS_HOME>/ord/web/logs.
What do they say about starting the agent?
    Test the agent with http://host:port/intermedia/~test
