Web Album 2.2 error

I downloaded the Web album 2.2 extention to run in DW 8. When
running the extension, I receive the following error:
While executing onClick in Create Web Photo Album 2.htm, the
following JavaScript error(s) ocurred:
At line 1626 of file "C:\program files\macromedia\dreamweaver
8\configuration\comands\create web photo album 2.js"
ReferenceError: DWsize is not defined.
I might mention that when I do a search for *2.js file, it is
not found on my c: drive.
Any help figuring this out (how to fix, etc.)?? Thanks

I am getting the same error. I am using Dreamweaver 8 on Windows XP. Can someone help?
Does anyone know if the Web Album 2.2 has the ability to change the font size, color, on the individual gallery pages. I am creating several galleries with hundreds of photos. THe last thing I want to do is go into each page. Can some one answer that question also?

Picasa users out there? Can't upload to Picasa web albums - time out error

After posting numerous times on the google picasa forums, I am hoping someone can help me here. Not sure if this is the correct discussion area.
I have been having this issue for a few weeks now and it's driving me mad. Hope someone can help.
Everything used to work fine, but now whenever I try to upload photos I just get a message saying "Error request failed. Upload failed". Looking into the log file:

Doesn't say much to me.
I am running Picasa v3.05 for Mac (10.5.7). Have tried various settings in my Firewall including switching it of all together, specifically adding Picasa under System Preferences > Security > 'Firewall' tab, rebooting my machine, banging head against brick wall etc....
Emailing my photos to Picasa works fine.
Any suggestions would be good.
I have searched the net and tried all suggestions to those people who have had any upload issues previoulsy, but to no avail.
Something to do with proxies maybe?
Not sure if it's a Picasa, Mac, Firefox, Internet or firewall setting, so if you have any ideas, I would be very grateful to receive them!

Okay, just coming back to close this issue. I reset my Netgear modem to factory settings, set up my connections from scratch and hey presto, Picasa decided to work again. Not sure why it stopped working as I never fiddle with my modem settings (which is secured btw!). And that's after 3 weeks of searching the net and trying everything on my mac!
Hope that helps anyone else with similar problems in future!

Web Album creator error

I have Dreamweaver 2004 and I was in the middle of creating web albums using the command, create album from within dreamweaver. I get a internal error has occured each time I try to do it starting today. I cant figure out what has change. I have read all about the " have a document opened before running the command" answers from the forums. that's not my problem, I always have a document opened before running this command. I cant find any other post about another cause for this issue.

HOWEVER, before you do that, first check to be sure that none of your images have "unusual" characters in them. They need to be simple alphanumerics, _, -, and no others.
They easiest first test is simply to select a single image with a simple filename for the album and see if an error is thrown. If not, then there is nothing wrong with the script or with DW, so look at all your filenames for the badone(s).

Picasa Web Album Playback Error

I used QuickTime Pro to edit .mov files from my camera. No problems with playback in QuickTime or in Picasa resident on my machine, but when I upload the edited files to Picasa Web Album, the audio track is out of sync with the video or worse. In fact, the file plays some audio that was aligned with deleted frames from the video then loses audio at the back end. In some other files the audio is trashed where the video is edited (multiple videos combined) - plays noise.
I know that the Picasa Web Album uses an Adobe player for video files. Is this a known problem with the Picasa player? Should I report it to the Picasa site? And does anyone know if there is a fix?

For the record, I found that you need to export the file to save it again. Even then, Picasa still can have problems - I frequently got a blank screen with a message: "This video is currently not available. Please try again later." Even after several days, the message would still be there so I think it is code for a malfunction in the upload. Some files wouldn't take so I exported to .AVI format. The preferred format is MPEG-4.

Photoshop Elements 9 and Picasa Web Albums

I see in Photoshop Elements 9 a number of sites you can upload directly to (facebook, flickr, etc.). I don't see Picasa Web Albums in the list. Is there a way to configure this to work, even if there is no "direct" way by means of a button? Like, can you upload to it using the Online Album section, or is that only for photoshop.com?

You could look at a cloud client for your pc which maps cloud storage as a mapped drive
then export directly to it. I've been experimenting with gladinet http://www.gladinet.com using Microsoft Live and Picassa web as the cloud services. I've had some success with Microsoft live although it appears that the export process writes a temp file then renames it but the rename didn't work so I had duplicate image on MS Live. I has less success with Picassa, I had to export to a local folder then drag them into the mapped Picassa web folder. I think this was also a temp issue. The error i got was that Picassa would only accept specific fie extensions. I think this was trying to write .tmp files.
I have a couple of more things I want to try, I want to try exporting in original format, not converting to jpeg (this may fix the problem of writing temp files first). If this doesn't work the next thing I will try is to use a local dump folder and schedule a scripted to Picassa via the gladinet mapped drive.
I hope that has given you some ideas in how to get data into Picassa web,

Yes, the error message is exactly like that ("Database error: failured to persist version")
No photos will import at all. I use USB to import from iPhone 5s or iPad 2.
About the difference? iPhoto and Photos . Are there two softwares?
I also will like to merge and/or synchronize all my photos I had saved to iCloud backups, Macbook Pro, iPhone 5s and iPad hard drives using iPhoto. It's call iPhoto library. At one point I turned off streaming.

How do I keep the name tags in Picasa Web Albums from appearing on the images by default? With Explorer, name tags only appear when mousing over the image, but with Firefox, all the tags appear on the picture as soon as it is loaded, which looks messy.

Picasa Web albums: doesn't display all uploaded photos. This only happens on my desktop computer. All photos displayed on my laptop.

Not all of my uploaded photos display in my Picasa web album. All the photos upload, but 17 out of 90 photos don't display. Some are landscape, some are portrait. This is no pattern to what doesn't display (e.g., not every third photo). This only happens when I use my desktop computer. When I use my laptop, all uploaded Picasa web album photos display.

Bridge CS4 Meta data in web album

Hi,
I am looking all over for a way which makes it posibly to show ONLY the description meta data in a web album created with adobe bridge cs4.
I have been able to have a text for each image in a slide show in every free web album I have tryed. Since I started to use bridge, I have been happy to use it for rating images and stuff like that. But can it really be that Meta data is so difficult to handle in bridges web album?... I think only one of the templates makes it possible to check 'Show metadata', but this is ALL metadata.. very many metadata, and definately not what I want. It can not be the case that bridges web album can not show a description or title only from an images meta or can it? Can anyone help me, have I missed something.
Hope someone can help me with some hints.. is it possible to make a web album including only description Meta data for each image?

hmm, maybe bridge is not the right choice after all, maybe Fireworks are better.. but still wondering why this simple possibility is not present in bridge,..

Custom Web Album Templates in Lightroom

I work for a department at UMass Amherst, and we're considering using Lightroom to create our web albums. We used the beta, and there was no way to create custom HTML/CSS templates (besides hacking the code it produced every time). Is this a feature that is included in the 1.0 release, or do you still have to hack the code every time?

How do you add a Jalbum ( web album) to my exisiting website(GoLive CS2).

JAlbum is a gallery software that makes web albums from your digital images. I am a photographer and I can't seem to find out how to add albums to my webpages. I created my webpage using GoLive CS 2 .
HELP PLEASE.
Any other suggestions on how to make albums would be great too.

Make sure you update the paths for the "form action" element and the source of the validation script script(end of form), as they initially are set to a relative path.
So for example, replace:

Based on my research, the issue always caused by the data type of input variable mismatch for the Web Service. For example, the input type for web service is String. The variable was of type Object but in fact it was a Decimal stored in it. Obviously SSIS
Web Service Task will not implicitly do a .toString() call on the input variable. So the issue occurs.
To fix this issue, please change the type of the variable. For more details, please refer to the following similar thread:

Besides, SSIS cannot invoke services with spaces in the names. And we should configure the HTTP connection manager the following ways:
Use credentials.
Use a client certificate.
Provide a time-out for connecting to the server and a chunk size for writing data.
Use a proxy server.

Is it possible to preview images full screen from web albums?

Tried to browse my Picasa web album on the Z10. Photos shown of a thingernail size! (photos in album are 1280x1024)
Is there a way to browse web albums on Z10 and see images on the full screen?

Could you please explain? I am having the same problem and so far I was not able t ofind a way how to view full size (or full screen) images.
