Web Gallery only shows 10 pictures cs4

When I try to create a web gallery in Bridge CS4 and/or Photoshop CS4 only ten images are included even though I have selected many more than 10. I have tried different column and row configurations, I have reinstalled, but it still only includes the first 10 images and then there are blanks. I found a 2008 reference in Adobe support to this dead link which is supposed to have a solution: http://www.adobeforums.com/webx/.59b70a2d/0
But it is dead.

The preview only uses 10 images to let you see how it will look.
This is to avoid slowing things down unnecessarily
To see the whole gallery, save it to a convenient place to view it in a browser.

When I upload from Bridge the web gallery it doesn't show the pictures? Yet, when I export the HTML web gallery to my hard drive it does. Any ideas?

Welcome to the Apple Discussions. By not showing up do you mean the gallery is no longer listed in under the Gallery section on the left of the pictures in the gallery are showing a blank window with an "!" in the middle?

TIP: For insurance against the iPhoto database corruption that many users have experienced I recommend making a backup copy of the Library6.iPhoto database file and keep it current. If problems crop up where iPhoto suddenly can't see any photos or thinks there are no photos in the library, replacing the working Library6.iPhoto file with the backup will often get the library back. By keeping it current I mean backup after each import and/or any serious editing or work on books, slideshows, calendars, cards, etc. That insures that if a problem pops up and you do need to replace the database file, you'll retain all those efforts. It doesn't take long to make the backup and it's good insurance.
I've written an Automator workflow application (requires Tiger), iPhoto dB File Backup, that will copy the selected Library6.iPhoto file from your iPhoto Library folder to the Pictures folder, replacing any previous version of it. Web Gallery Slide Shows: Music and Captions an option?

The title sums up the question. Can web gallery slide shows (on my .Mac account) be made to look and sound like the slide shows i'm running in iphoto - with captions and audio?

You can get the captions to be displayed in the web gallery by running this script to move the description to the title field before you publish the gallery. After the gallery is published you can change the title back to the file name with the Photos->Batch Change menu option.
Have you considered using iWeb to create a photo page/slideshow and add the music to it. Here's a test page of such a setup. Be sure to read all of the comments on the linked page as there's a minor error noted in the script that is easy to correct.

Dotmac published web gallery not showing up.

So I have now created 2 web galleries through Aperture 2. One shows up the other does not..
The URL it should be at is http://gallery.mac.com/cbchev68/100191 and it should be called Sushi Hunter.. The other one that is showing up is called Northwind Charters.
Im guessing there is some software bug here. If I go into Aperture -> Web Gallery -> Sushi Hunter. Then in the main window choose Web Gallery -> Visit Web Gallery, it opens Safari with the above URL and I get an error that the gallery does not exist.. What is even more interesting is that if I go into Aperture preferences, web gallery, it only shows the one gallery that actually shows up on the doc mac servers. I have to assume it is querying the dot mac servers for this data, as there is a 5 second lag or so before this list is populated.
Its as though Aperture created the web gallery, but then never actually uploaded the images..
Anyone else seen this?

Well its definitely a software bug, I just created another new album with a slightly different name and it looks like the photos are now uploading and properly showing up.

Web Gallery not showing up in iPhoto

I've set up multiple albums through the web gallery feature and successfully synced them to my .mac account. The problem: one particular gallery shows up on the .mac account but not in iPhoto anymore so there is no way to manage it/add to it/delet it??

Web gallery not showing up

Doing something stupid, I'm sure. I have successfully uploaded to my .mac Web gallery before and have several pix/albums in there. This time, I set a password and restricted it to just me for viewing/downloading/adding to this particular album.
I can't ever see it from my .mac login page, the one with the left-hand nav bar to web gallery, iDisk, mail, etc.
I re-sent the whole album, and sent myself an e-mail to announce it, just to see if a hyperlink from the e-mail would work, and lo and behold, the private album is online. I just can't get to it any other way than from that e-mail link. Wondering what I did wrong.

launch iPhoto and click on the gallery in the source pane to the left - at the bottom of the window there is a gear (settings) icon - click on it and I expect you will find that you have chosen to hide the gallery - un-click that and sync and you should see it - as long as it is hidden you can only access it if you know the url (Logical )

Anyone see changes in images when making a web gallery through Adobe Bridge cs4??? Please Help!

When creating web galleries through adobe bridge CS4 the final gallery images become very orange.....
Not even comparable to what we are seeing in Bridge or Photoshop CS4....
Adobe tells me that this is happening because of the conversion for web use.
We are just noticing this change now and feel that there is a problem somewhere.....
Has anyone else seen this issue or now anything to do to get it fixed???

You probably want to ask this in the Bridge forum. From what I know, Bridge converts the profile to sRGB which helps avoids big color shifts if you view the images in an uncolormanaged web browser. This may change the appearance slightly, but there shouldn't be a huge shift.

Web Gallery/Slide Show software MAC

I'd like to add flash-based image galleries to web sites.
Any recommendations or comparisons regarding best software options for this?

Web gallery, only allows 10 images

My problem is that the gallery only loads 10 out of 20 images. They're all JPEGs and have been resized. I have all 20 highlighted yet it only
acknowledges 10. Any suggestions?

That is perfectly normal and expected behavior.
There are many existing threads on this in the forum. Please search.
In a nutshell, the Preview only shows 10 images, but all your selected images will be included in the final output.

Web gallery- Only to be accessible for me

I successfully published an album to my web gallery and selected "Only me" as allowed viewer.
...but what is my user name and password???

A small lie from me: The published album is actually so large that I´ll probably have to wait some 30 minutes before it has been uploaded. Maybe I will have a chance to specify the user name and password by then.

Web Gallery not showing in Aperture's browser window.

Hi, I hope someone can help me with this. I create web galleries all the time and they work fine. For some reason when I create a new web gallery, instead of seeing the interface with the web preview (where you get the all the setting for customizing the web gallery and the export/publish buttons), I just see the image thumbnails in the Aperture browser. I even went to web galleries from old projects and is displaying the same way. Has anyone had this problem? Your help will be greatly appreciated. Thanks!

Selection Screen on Web Report only show filter area varieables.

I am using WAD 3.5 and web template uses the query developed in 3.5, This report has two selection variables one in filter area and one in Rows section.
We recently did the Ehp 1 upgrade and after that it automatically showing only variable selection for character in Filter area. To show all I have to hit "All".
For Query designer query I was able to change the property in RSRT but for Web report I am not able to change and it is still showing only one selection screen instead of Two .
Have you faced any such issue. Please can you share your thoghts on how to correct it.

if you are able to see both variables in rsrt we could say that the variable definition are ok ( option: ready for input in variable definition)
So open the web report on web application designer and in the web template Properties search for "Force Variable Screen display" option and check this option.

I'm running Windows Vista 32 bit Home Premium w/Firefox 5.0. When I look at an auction on E-Bay there is no script, or writing, there are only pictures that are viewable. Weird that it just happened arbitrarily. It was the same on re-start until I restarted Firefox in safe mode?

Clear the cache and the cookies from sites that cause problems.
"Clear the Cache":
* Tools > Options > Advanced > Network > Offline Storage (Cache): "Clear Now"
"Remove Cookies" from sites causing problems:
* Tools > Options > Privacy > Cookies: "Show Cookies"
If it does work in Safe-mode then disable all extensions and then try to find which is causing it by enabling one at a time until the problem reappears.
*Use "Disable all add-ons" on the [[Safe mode]] start window to disable all extensions.
* Close and restart Firefox after each change via "File > Exit" (Mac: "Firefox > Quit"; Linux: "File > Quit")

Ipod only show picture and sound on an ipod dock

I have the new ipod cromatic got it at christman and it only works on a dock now.It show sound and everything on a dock but when i plug my headphones in it doesnt work? It has been working fine so i dont know should i restart it or what?

My moments won't let me see my old picture from the summer like in August. Why is that? Where did my pictures go? It only shows picture from December.

I have decided to dedicate this thread to the wonderful errors of Lion OSX. Each time I find a huge problem with Lion I will make note of it here.
Today I discovered a new treasure of doggie poop in Lion. No Save As......
I repeat. No Save As. In text editor I couldn't save the file with a new extension. I finally accomplished this oh so majorly difficult task (because we all know how difficult it should be to save a file with a new extension) by pressing duplicate and then saving a copy of the file with a new extension. Yet then I had to delete the first copy and send it to trash. And of course then I have to secure empty trash because if I have to do this the rest of my mac's life I will be taking up a quarter of percentage of space with duplicate files. So this is the real reason they got rid of Save As: so that it would garble up some extra GB on the ole hard disk.
So about 20 minutes of my time were wasted while doing my homework and studying for an exam because I had to look up "how to save a file with a new extension in mac Lion" and then wasted time sitting here and ranting on this forum until someone over at Apple wakes up from their OSX-coma.
are you freaking kidding me Apple? I mean REALLY?!!!! who the heck designed this?!!! I want to know. I want his or her name and I want to sit down with them and have a long chat. and then I'd probably splash cold water on their face to wake them up.
I am starting to believe that Apple is Satan.
