Basic troubleshooting from the User's Guide is reset, restart, restore (first from backup then as new). Has any of this been tried?

I backed up to my PC and attempted restore but I keep getting an error message that "iTunes could not restore the iPhone because not enough free space is available." I have a 32GB iPhone; only 13GB used!!! HELP! iCloud backup/restore did not work either! How can I resolve this problem to restore from back up.
If you're not a developer then you really should not have upgraded.
I'm unsure how you can fix this as you have already done a back-up on iOS 7 and apple don't support firmware downgrades. -
I recently updated my iTunes with the lates version but now it does not detect my iPhone 5 which it was working with the old version!!!

If your device is not recognized by iTunes, I would recommend the steps in the article below. Start with the section labeled Verify that the Apple Mobile Device USB Driver is installed > For Windows Vista, Windows 7, and Windows 8 > Update the Apple Mobile Device Driver.

Comcast just replaced my cable modem/wireless router. All devices connect properly except my iPhone 4. It shows itself to be connected to the network, but it does not load any web page. Resetting the iPhone does not solve the problem. Any suggestions?

I had rebooted the router (several times, actually), to no avail.
I do not know the answer to whether MAC filtering is enabled on the router. Have tried to find info about that, but unsuccessfully. Router is an Arris TG852G, supplied by Comcast. I would be surprised if MAC filtering were the issue, since in addition to the computer, we have successfully connected several other devices to the wifi, namely an iPad, a Android phone and a Kindle Fire - all able to access internet pages through the wifi, and all without a need to add the device to a MAC address whitelist. To add to the mystery, the Comcast tech was able to connect his iPhone 4 to my network and access web pages. He was unable to connect my iPhone, however, after trying for some time.
I seem to recall reading somewhere that an iPhone cannot connect to a wireless "n" router, only "b" or "g". The Arris router is described as a n/g/b compliant router, and as noted the Comcast tech was able to connect his iPhone, so don't know why that would be the issue here.
By the way, my iPhone does connect wirelessly to my network at home. This difficulty is at a second home.
Any other thoughts would be appreciated. -

Before updating to iOS6, I backed my iPhone up onto my PC, as I am aware that when updating an iPhone things like notes, contacts etc tend to disappear. However, after the update was complete, when I tried to 'restore back up' I keep getting the message "iTunes could not restore the iPhone because not enough free space is available of the iPhone". I don't understand why this message keeps coming up, because I have 20.96GB free space. All my contacts have gone, and I urgently need them for work. What can I do to solve this problem???
I suggest you delete some stuff off your phone so free up some memory and try again

I just replaced my iPhone 5 because of a cracked face. I backed up the old phone to iTunes. When I tried to restore my data off of iTunes to the new phone, I got an error message saying that iTunes could not restore the iPhone because not enough free space is available on the new iPhone. Now what?
I have Apple Care+, but I'll be darned if I can find any way to contact anyone at Apple to talk to about this. They take your money, but make darned sure they don't have to support you unless you jump through a bunch of hoops first, like this site.I've done a restore.. The phone was completely wiped back to factory settings.. It then tells me there isn't enough space on the phone to restore from back up? How when the phone is empty?!

Have you tried restarting or resetting your iPad?
Restart: Press On/Off button until the Slide to Power Off slider appears, select Slide to Power Off and, after It shuts down, press the On/Off button until the Apple logo appears.
Reset: Press the Home and On/Off buttons at the same time and hold them until the Apple logo appears (about 10 seconds).
No data will be lost. -

My iphone is not dedtedcted by the computer. I am having Windows 7.Windows has stopped this device because it has reported problems. (Code 43) Error code no 43 is shown. I tried to fix it by running fix it porg in Micro soft tech net. On April 13, 2013 i plugged my phone in and itunes immediately started an upgrade on my iphone 4 operating system to ios 6.1.3. ONce it completed my phone was restored to factury settings. When i tried restore my backup to the phone, i got the following message

I am so ****** because i can't figure out a way to at least get my photos from this back...its all lost
I spoke with an Apple rep that day named Jamie who was supposed to help me retrieve my data, but we couldn't figure it out and he asked me to call back in a day or so to get it done. When I called back, i left several messages and got no response. Now i try calling support and they want money before they will talk to me.
Somebody please help.
ThanksIf you restored your phone as new there should be plenty of free space on it. Check Settings>General>Usage to see how much free space you have.
Is your backup on your computer or in iCloud? -

Do you know if I can have all devices associated to my single apple ID and still use both numbers without messing up my profile. It has just changed my number over.I would not be able to give you idiot proof guide, since different games are different. Some of them have icloud integrated already, but those already taken care of. Some of them use specific logins and once you log - you get your info. General recommendation is to contact support sites of those games for enabling icloud instructions or enabling of transfer. There are other purely apple ways - like sync your phone in itunes and then sync apps with ipad, but those are only one time transfer. There is another way that is not typically recommended - restoring ipad from iphone backup. It may transfer your game content, but once again sync in the future has to be done by game.
So if I were you, I would address that individually with every game provider. -
How can I print to my HP OfficeJet 6500 Wireless Printer from my iPhone 4S which used to work (on prior iPhones) before AirPrint printers were even available? (running Mac Lion OS, all software and HP sw updates are all performed)
I don't get it, I read one post about why would we have to buy an AirPrint Printer when we have used the "print to a wifi printer" just fine in the past? Yes I feel that's exactly what's happening to me now too. I want to print from my iPhone and iPad to my WiFi Printer which is also now connected to my Airport Express WiFi network just fine. No problems.Very glad you added that bit of information because I see different problems similar to this. I want to share with them what you did and hopefully you not only fixed your specific problem but you can lend some more advice to others with problems like this. Thanks!

Google calendar events not showing on Iphone calendar
Hi,
I've linked my mozilla Thunderbird calendar with Google and Google with Iphone.
When adding event on Iphone it appears in Thunderbird, but not the other way round (not in calendar, not in email, nothing).. what to do?
That in fact is the one trick I need it to do as I want to be able to enter event when planned while on the phone!

Why not just use Google and iPhone. They should both sync perfectly together
Google is currently sending info to the iPhone and Thunderbird, but the odd part is that the iPhone is not sending to Google, which it should easily.
Your iPhone should have Google as an account which is know to work very well.
Your PC will pick up and sync properly to Google as well. I think Thunderbird is the issue here -
Google calendar appointments not showing on iPhone calendar
All my Google calendar appointments used to show up on my iPhone's calendar. Now they are not showing up on my iphone's calendar. What is interesting is that appointments made prior to last week are showing up on the calendar. However, apppointments made in Google calendar after last week are NOT showing up on my iPhone calendar.
Any suggestions on how to make this work? It used to work and then something strange happened ...MAGIC happened for me as well.
Here's what I did:
(1) I added the Google calendar using the CALDAV option - i.e., go to Settings --> Mail, Contacts, Calendar and then choose Add Calendar. Here is a link to the instructions I followed:

Here are the steps that I followed:
To sync with your device, follow these steps:
Open the Settings application on your device's home screen.
Open Mail, Contacts, Calendars.
Select Add Account...
Select Other.
Select Add CalDAV Account.
Enter your account information:
In the Server field, enter [ google.com ]
In the Username field, enter your full Google Account or Google Apps email address.
In the Password field, enter your Google Account or Google Apps password.
In the Description field, enter the name you'd like to appear on the account.
Select Next at the top of your screen.
After you've completed setup, open the Calendar app on your device and syncing will automatically begin.
After this, there were 2 entries in my iphone calendar for every gmail calendar appointment - i.e., each entry appeared twice. So, I deleted the calendar I had just added following the advice above and now everything works.
Strange behavior but I am glad that my gmail calendars are now appearing in my iphone.
