Web Page Redirection Messages

I am urgently trying to send out my newsletter and am receiving "Web Page Redirection Messages" when clicking on any external links from the email. This is my 23rd monthly newsletter and it has never happened before.
The major problem is I have businesses who are paying for advertising in my newsletter and they will not accept having a message display first before accessing their site.
Can anyone tell me please WHY this has suddenly occurred. And also what can be done to fix it?

  • Web page redirecting to another page

    Hi,
I have an issue of web pages redirecting to a specific web page (bad content).
This issue occurred in safari first and then when i started using google chrome and firefox the same issue arrised.
When i google something and open it in a new tab it opens into the respective web page but then after all the contents are loaded it redirects into one specific website.
I cleared all the history and tried blocking that specific page using terminal (used step to step guide through wikihow) and even cleared the DNS by using this command "sudo dscacheutil -flushcache" but nothing works.
I am using Mac Book Pro Retina and OS Y.
Please be kind enough to help as soon as possible. Its urgent i am unable to search for anything using google. But it doesn't happen when i open Facebook , youtube or my mail.

This can happen if adware is installed without your knowledge.
    1. Use  free  AdwareMedic to remove adware

Install , open,  and run it by clicking “Scan for Adware” button   to remove adware.
       Once done, quit AdwareMedic.
                 or
Remove the adware manually by following the “HowTo” from Apple.

  • Web page redirect

This is something I usually use in site's on a 'thanks for
contacting us' page that comes up after a user has filled in a
    contact form, ie
'thanks for contacting us. if your browser doesn't redirect you,
click here to return to the homepage' sort of thing.
But the site i'm doing just now doesn't seem to want to play
    ball.
The line of code is :
    <meta http-equiv="refresh" content="5;
    url=file:home.htm">
It's in the header, and the page is home.htm

  • Web page redirection without auth on WLC

Customer wants to have users on their guest WLAN get redirected to an acceptable usage policy page without having to authenticate when connecting to the network. We're using WLC4400's. I know it can be done using external elements, but can the controller redirect or display without requiring web authentication first?
    TIA,
    Dave

You can use a web passthrough so the user connecting via your guest wlan is required to read the acceptable usage policy. We did this at a hot spot I setup. Under your WLAN configuration, select none for Layer2 and Layer3 security, then check the Web Policy box,and select passthrough. Then all you have to do is configure your Web Login Page (Security->Web Login Page). Place whatever verbage you require in this page to display on the users first attempt to use the web after connecting to your guest wlan. Enabling Web Policy and Passthrough gives the user only an accept button and nothing else. This basically is web authentication without having to enter any credentials.
    Hope this helps.

  • Personal Web Page Error Message

Has anyone else had problems with the website builder?  Last night I was on the phone with tech support for 2 hrs trying to figure out why I can't add pictures to my website.  Everytime I tried to add photos or text I got the message, " The type of item you are attempting to insert has not been implemented."
It was finally recommended that I delete my page and start from scratch, which I did and still I got the same error.
Anyone have this problem and has a solution for me.
    Thanks

I am able to add images to my personal webspace without any issue. If you can give me some more information about the process you are using, maybe I can play with it a little and see if I can find a solution.
What browser and version are you using?
What format are the images you are trying to add? (.bmp, .gif, .jpg, .jpeg...?)
    How large are the files?
Can you give me a step-by-step of the path you are taking to upload the files?
Have you tried uploading the files from a different location? (For instance, if they are in your My Documents folder, try moving them to your Desktop and upload from there.)
Using an FTP client is a valid workaround, but if there's something broken then Verizon or Trellix (or both) need to fix it.

  • How do I defeat or whitelist the "Firefox has blocked this site from loading another web page" function?

Often when I click a link within a web page, a message bar appears at the top of the page saying "Firefox has blocked this site from loading another page" or something similar. This happens frequently on banking or credit card sites. This is particularly annoying because it seems to disturb the operation of the link when I have to click the "Allow" box on the message bar. I would prefer to create a whitelist for this feature so it would not interrupt my banking operations. Failing that, I would like to know how to toggle the feature on and off. Failing that, I would like to know how to defeat the function.

    See:
*Firefox > Options/Preferences > Advanced > General : Accessibility : [ ] "Warn me when web sites try to redirect or reload the page"
The setting in "Options > Advanced > General" is meant as an accessibility feature, as you can see by the label of that section, so that people with disabilities or people who use screen readers do not get confused and is not meant as a safety protection to stop redirecting.

  • Safari Won't Load Router Web Page

    Safari 7.0.3
    OS X 10.9.2
    Mac Mini 2009
    I recently got a new router: TP-Link TD-W8980
If I enter the router's IP address into Safari, I see the router's login page.
After I log in, all I see is a blank page.
If I close the blank page and type in the router's IP address again (before the session times out), the router's web page displays normally.
If I use Chrome, the behavior is normal.
Why do I have to close the page and reopen in order for Safari to properly display the router web pages?
Message was edited by: Buadhai - Correct spelling of Chrome.

I''m sorry, but I don't understand your question at all.
This is from the router's setup guide:
    3.2 Quick Installation Guide
With a Web-based utility, it is easy to configure and manage the TD-W8980 N600 Wireless Dual Band Gigabit ADSL2+ Modem Router. The Web-based utility can be used on any Windows, Macintosh or UNIX OS with a Web browser, such as Microsoft Internet Explorer, Mozilla Firefox or Apple Safari.
    1. To access the configuration utility, open a web-browser and type the default address http://192.168.1.1 in the address field of the browser.
How would Safari know how to get to the router's web server if you didn't enter the IP address in the browser's address field?

  • I keep getting this error message on my Mac after my Mavrick upgrade: This web page is being redirected to a new location. Would you like to resend the form dat

how do I turn off this notification. I build web stores and this pops up when I access my store now. The stores have a redirect with masking through godaddy.com to hide the source of the store. I have reset fire fox, turned off most of the settings and still having issues. most of the forms on line are outdated.
    Thanks

There is a way to turn off the warning for a 307 "temporary" redirect. However, bear in mind that customers will still see it, so you may want to reconsider the design for business reasons.
    (1) In a new tab, type or paste '''about:config''' in the address bar and press Enter. Click the button promising to be careful.
    (2) In the search box that appears above the list, type or paste '''redi''' and pause while the list is filtered
    (3) Double-click '''network.http.prompt-temp-redirect''' to switch its value from true (the default) to false.

when navigating on certain sites (fiverr.com is one), i get the popup confirmation "This web page is being redirected to a new location. Would you like to resend the form data you have typed to the new location?"
this is highly annoying and i can't find a way to turn this annoyance off. help!

because of its impact on security this error message cannot be suppressed. you might want to contact the admins of the website where this is occuring and ask them to implement a handling of user input without sending it to a different server...

  • Displaying booking form errors on custom redirect web page

I have an event/booking with a registration web form that redirects to a custom web page (not the system page for bookings). If a customer signs up on the form using an email address of someone already registered for the event, their booking is not recorded, but I can't find a way to present the error on the web page that they are redirected to upon submitting.
The workflow notification includes the message, "ERROR: Booking could not be made as this email address is already registered for this booking."
There is a record of the failed attempt on the customer record with the email address that was used, but I need a way to tell the customer that their booking was uncessessful due to the email address used. Placing {module_error} on the web page doesn't seem to do the trick.
    Any help is very appreciated.
    Jake

I suspected that might be the case. Thank you for confirming. Any idea if the URL parameters applied to the redirected page indicate that there were errors? That would be awesome!

  • This web page is being redirected to a new location. Would you like to resend the form data you have typed to the new location?

This alert pops regularly every 10-15 minutes:
This web page is being redirected to a new location. Would you like to resend the form data you have typed to the new location?
I did some serious research / checked for viruses / removed and reinstalled Thunderbird and Firefox. Please read this carefully.
    1. With Firefox closed (default browser), I can open T-bird without any issues and use it just fine.
    but,
    2. the minute that I open Firefox, T-bird give me a popup message of: This web page is being redirected to a new location. Would you like to resend the form data you have typed to the new location? This is not under the Firefox Browser. It is under the T-bird Tab of my computer.
It does not matter what kind of email you have open, whether it be text or HTML. It pops up.
If I have T-bird open (default email client) and use Chrome or IE with Firefox closed it doesn't happen.
Computer is Windows 7 Pro x64-Bit.

This started after the latest Thunderbird update was applied. Like you I have done the same check outs. I found that Thunderbird starts then, without any direct request, FireFox starts as well. Then the messages start popping up. Have already checked and confirmed that the old FireFox posting fixes did not impact the behavior. Looking for an answer.
Same configuration Windows 7 ThinkPad T430.
