Web pages have disappeared

I went to visit my site, and it said that it doesn't exist. I tried several times, and even went onto iWeb and republished a page, but with the same result. Once, a couple of months ago, one album on the site disappeared, and I simply recreated it. This, however, nothing is there. It may be a temporary thing (that mac.com is temporarily down), but how would I know? It's been this way for an hour or so.

When you're in iWeb select the site in the left hand pane and use the menu File->Visit Published Site. See if that will take you to the site. If you get to the site copy the URL and compare it to the one you tried to use before.
Have you gone to your iDisk/Web/Sites folder and verified that the site folder is missing or parts of the site folder is missing?
Can you post the URL you're trying to use so we can investigate?

Make sure that you allow pages to choose their colors and that you haven't enabled High Contrast in the Accessibility settings.

Web pages have been loading without images or formatting in google chrome and safari

My web pages have been loading without images or correct formatting. I have tried using google chrom and safari but does not make a differnence. I have check for software updates and everything is up to date. Not sure what else to do???

Firefox UI & Web Page Content Disappears

When using Firefox 27.0.1 with minimal (less than 15 tabs) I have encountered a problem where the entire user interface simply disappears. By that, I mean that the content Tab Bar, Navigation Bar and Bookmarks Toolbar all disappear and are replaced by the "glass" effect of the Windows 7 windows.
Additionally, the web page that should be displayed also disappears and turns completely black.
This seems to happen after browsing through several JavaScript heavy pages (like Google Play) as well as sites with Flash and/or HTML5 video frames (like YouTube).
I recently reinstalled Firefox (12th of January) and am using a completely new profile, though I have reinstalled my most used addons and disabled hardware acceleration.

Disabling hardware acceleration seems to have solved the rendering issues.
However, the crashes on script heavy pages persist. Tried running in Safe Mode and didn't get any crashes. But here's the problem. My sister uses Firefox as well and we use more or less the same Add-ons yet she doesn't get the same level of crashes I do and she browses far more often than I do.
So heres what I did (note: our PC's are custom builds with exactly the same specs, except the graphics card - her's is a Radeon HD4xxx and mine is an HD6770)
I checked what Add-ons she uses and disabled all the Add-ons I use that she didn't have. In theory, that would leave me with a Firefox with Add-ons that are confirmed working. And yet, despite that, Firefox still crashes, particularly on YouTube.
As an example, I can have 3-4 (approximately) YouTube pages open, none of which are showing the video player (Flash or HTML5); such as user pages or subscription pages, etc.
While they are loading Firefox slows to a crawl, eats memory and eventually crashes. My sister on the other hand once had 30+ pages with the video player (Flash in this case) open and yet her Firefox averaged around 900MB RAM with no slow down or crashes.
Again, this is a clean install (not even installed in the same Directory or Disk Partition as my previous install), and it is a clean profile with each Add-on reinstalled/setup manually. I did copy over a few files containing data for a few Add-ons as well as all my Bookmarks. The data copied was just a list of blocked Trackers by DoNotTrackMe and data from a time tracking add-on.
Anyone have any ideas?

Web Page Text Disappearing in Design View

Hi,
I'm using Dreamweaver 8, and I am loading the page of an
existing web page into Dreamweaver (page was coded in notepad, not
in Dreamweaver). The web page uses CSS and is full of text. Problem
is, I cannot see any of the text that is in a table while in design
view.
The tables in design view look like they are compressed
together, and the site in design view doesn't resemble the actual
page at all.
I can see the text on the webpage in code view, and when I
preview the page in IE or Firefox, the text is there - however in
Design view it disappears!
I have tried Expanded Tables Mode too, but no luck.
Any suggestions? Is there some setting I need to adjust, to
see the text on this page while in design view?

All my spreadsheets in numbers and files in pages have disappeared! Does anyone know how I can find them / get them back?

I had a substantial amount of spreadsheets on my iPad mini and the numbers app as well as a substantial number of pages documents in the pages app. The key word there was had! All my files have disappeared. And on top of that every time I go into preferences to turn on the cloud option it keeps turning itself off. Does anybody know what is going on I would love to have my documents back please help.

I suppose you have checked the following settings:
1. Settings>Pages>Use iCloud>On
2. Settings>iCloud>Documents and Data>On

Using safari web pages have writing over writing hard to read

I do a lot of surfing from web page to web page. Lately it is very hard to read many of the pages as there is writing over writing. Sometimes a section on the page is too small and I cannot read to entire content.

Two main things you can try are to reset Safari, which can be selected under the Safari menu item and try deleting the .plist.
You need to look in your user Library/Preferences for the .plist. Hold down the option key while using the Finder "Go To Folder" command. Enter ~/Library. Delete the .plist(s) for the application.
If you prefer to make your user library permanently visible, use the Terminal command found below.

You might want to bookmark the command. I had to use it again after I installed 10.8.2. I have also been informed that if you drag the user library to Finder it will remain visible.

Speeding up Safari

Since downloading 18.02, all of my web pages have reverted back to an 8x11 frame. How can I return it to widescreen view?

When I go to a news web page, it loads with 4:3 aspect ratio, instead of the previously 16:9. This is not limited to one website, and is a distinct change since downloading the newest version. I have not downloaded or changed anything else that would have caused this.

My resolution has been and continues to be 1280x720. The change occurred directly after downloading 18.02 I have checked my settings and they continue to state my resolution is unchanged. I have checked the health of my video card and driver, they also state they are working properly. My assumption is that 18.02 is in conflict with another of the programs on my PC, although no conflicts are reported. The only other thought I had was my video card is going, even though it seems to pass any test I throw at it. Any suggestions welcome, and thanks in advance.

I have bookmarks displayed, but when visit some web pages, they disappear and are replaced by horizontal lines, and sometimes lines that look like barcodes appear around the edges of Firefox 4. Any suggestions how to remove them?

Start Firefox in [[Safe Mode]] to check if one of the add-ons is causing the problem (switch to the DEFAULT theme: Tools > Add-ons > Themes).

In Firefox 4 [http://kb.mozillazine.org/Safe_mode Safe mode] disables extensions and disables hardware acceleration.

My In Design Pages Have Disappeared

I am creating a multi-page In Design document. One spread has disappeared. I cannot delete the pages. I cannot do anything on the pages. The objects on the pages seem to still be there/somewhere - they still appear on the Links panel which indicates their page number with a "P" in front of it. I have exported to an IDML file and the objects appeared, but want to know if my original document can be helped. When I select all - a miniscule box appears in the center of the spread, but I cannot get it to respond to anything. Does this have something to do with bounding boxes? Can my file, or the spread be reset to appear again somehow?

This is a bug in ID where the bounding box geometry somehow becomes corrupt. The best way to deal with it is to delete the objects, then the pages, and replace. Personally, I would use the IDML version.

My master pages have disappeared from the View menu in Frame Maker and I can't get to them. View does show body pages and reference pages.

Master pages went missing from my FrameMaker 12 setup about 4 days ago. I can see body and references pages. I have tried reinstalling. The master pages are missing from all of my FrameMaker documents, absolutely all of them. I have done two new installations of FM 12, no fix.

My MobileMe pages have disappeared!

They were fine this morning & have been synching well for ages. I added some stuff to the calender this morning, went away from my desk & when I came back I could access only my account details & my contacts. Everything else - calender, gallery, iDisc, emails - everything just showed as a blank page!

Web pages have large, long blue bars below the iLike box that covers test or pictures.

There are large and long blue bars below the iLike and Recommend boxes. Please help. I can turn off Java and that corrects it, but then some features on other pages don't respond properly. Please help.......I'm losing it!

That may be something similar as the problems that have been reported with pages created with iWeb that are caused by a bug (Bug 662898) that slipped into Firefox 5 and that will be fixed in Firefox 6, due to be released in August.

Web pages have large font on macbook

When I go to webpages that have videos the fonts and video images are extra large and the entire webpage does not fit on the screen (I have to side scroll to see all content.)

Press the key combination option-command-8 to disable Zoom. If you're using an Apple wireless mouse, open the Mouse pane in System Preferences and uncheck the box marked Smart zoom.

Web pages that i have visited are displayed in iphoto!

Why have I 1,255 items in iphoto, when I have only loaded 12 photos? All web pages have loaded into iphoto! How can I fix?

WHat's happened is that iPhoto has importd a cache folder, inadvertently.
Delete them. Even easier, export your 12 photos. Trash the Library. Make a new one. Import the 12 photos
